Ordinary settlers who have lived their entire lives on stolen land might be a bit nervous about indigenous repatriation. If you are one of those people, I recommend looking up Anglo-Indians.

You've probably wondered, "What happens to the people who just live here when the indigenous people get their land back?" The answer is pretty much nothing. Decolonization is about giving ownership of the land back to the indigenous government. It's not about displacing ordinary families who are just making ends meet. Displacing people from their homes is a big part of what made colonialism evil in the first place, and most indigenous people aren't interested in repaying evil with evil.

Can’t look at anything or anyone the same anymore. I see nice cars and people with the latest brands/eating McDonald’s etc/having the latest iPhones and I just think about how many kids died mining for these metals to support that structure of our world. That’s also killing the earth. And they’re technically my brothers and sisters and cousins. I think about what kind of human you have to be to enjoy luxuries that are conceptualized in blood and murder and not boycott the minimum/speak up. I feel like I can’t trust anyone. But I fight and still hope for the future for me and my people. I am thankful for films like Neptune Frost, Yeelen, Gabbeh, and other indigenous films that capture the indestructible beautiful hearts of our people and their lights we must carry on against the darkness.

In the USA, Palestinian children are attacked (including half of them Palestinian), and in the UK right-wingers persecute immigrants, and the court did not withhold the personal data of a minor who was a Muslim because he attacked someone with a knife (I don't know the context of the attack)…

Zionism, conservatism and rightism are fascism under other names…

Hello, I am going into grade 11 and just finished AP world history. I don't know if its part of the syllabus but when going over the middle east my teacher gave us an assignment about the "war" in Palestine and showed multiple videos about Isreal illegal settlement. she ended the year with a "be the change you want to see in the world" speech
