show tempe gang crossover with the morris islanders would actually have been the best episode of bones ever. btw
#please ignore the rest of the tags i will just be making things up#okay they start out in carolina but at least half the episode takes place in dc. do not ask me how travel logistics would work#tory spends the entire episode off with tempe doing bone stuff. booth feels upstaged by a 16-year-old girl#so he goes and hangs out with ben who does NOT trust him right off the bat#ben ends up having to run him over to liri at some point because there's crime afoot and tom is busy. they spend most of the ride in silenc#ofc they end up bonding Eventually because they are both obsessed with crazy emotionally stunted redheads named t brennan#tory is more effective than any of the squinterns and manages to piss hodgins off so bad just by existing#coop hangs out in the lab as saroyan tries to kick him out thirty times. he just keeps showing up and she can't prove who's letting him in#(it's tempe.) angela loves tory but tory does not love angela back. saroyan tolerates her. sweets likes her but knows she's hiding somethin#comes to the conclusion that she can read her friends minds and slowly drives himself crazy because obviously that can't be true#tory brings hi along whenever she needs someone with people skills and he is MORE than happy to participate in a hodgins experiment#hi gets to be king of the lab for about ten minutes. shelton hits it off with angela immediately and they solve half the case together#booth fucking HATES hi because he's evasive and really good at the manipulation thing. booth can't win verbal sparring and he gets Big Mad#at one point the four of them are in an interrogation room together (MISTAKE) because tory had them meddling a little too close to the sun#and booth is trying so hard to question them which didn't work even when they COULDN'T read each other's minds#tory figures out who did it and hi steals her thunder a la shrek wasnt vandalized he gave birth#temperance tells tory 'i know you've got a secret sweets told me and even though i don't trust psychology i find he's insightful' etc etc#tory's like well i might be but i can't tell you it's not just my secret and you wouldn't believe me anyway#because let's be real tempe WOULDNT believe her#meanwhile saroyan convinced by sweets paranoia managed to get a sample of tory's blood and test it and is like HEY WHAT THE FUCK#gets hodgins and they just stare at the results together and delve into conspiracy theories. he's like i KNEW there were werewolves#they debate telling tempe but know it wouldnt end well for the kids and decide to get rid of the evidence. but hodgins is SO smug#also angela spends the whole episode trying to convince everyone hi and shelton are dating and no one believes her#they finally see them kiss or something and they're all somehow floored and angela's just like yeah? duh?#if anyone read this i'm sorry and why

The data does not support the assumption that all burned out people can “recover.” And when we fully appreciate what burnout signals in the body, and where it comes from on a social, economic, and psychological level, it should become clear to us that there’s nothing beneficial in returning to an unsustainable status quo.
The term “burned out” is sometimes used to simply mean “stressed” or “tired,” and many organizations benefit from framing the condition in such light terms. Short-term, casual burnout (like you might get after one particularly stressful work deadline, or following final exams) has a positive prognosis: within three months of enjoying a reduced workload and increased time for rest and leisure, 80% of mildly burned-out workers are able to make a full return to their jobs.
But there’s a lot of unanswered questions lurking behind this happy statistic. For instance, how many workers in this economy actually have the ability to take three months off work to focus on burnout recovery? What happens if a mildly burnt-out person does not get that rest, and has to keep toiling away as more deadlines pile up? And what is the point of returning to work if the job is going to remain as grueling and uncontrollable as it was when it first burned the worker out?
Burnout that is not treated swiftly can become far more severe. Clinical psychologist and burnout expert Arno van Dam writes that when left unattended (or forcibly pushed through), mild burnout can metastasize into clinical burnout, which the International Classification of Diseases defines as feelings of energy depletion, increased mental distance, and a reduced sense of personal agency. Clinically burned-out people are not only tired, they also feel detached from other people and no longer in control of their lives, in other words.
Unfortunately, clinical burnout has quite a dismal trajectory. Multiple studies by van Dam and others have found that clinical burnout sufferers may require a year or more of rest following treatment before they can feel better, and that some of burnout’s lingering effects don’t go away easily, if at all.
In one study conducted by Anita Eskildsen, for example, burnout sufferers continued to show memory and processing speed declines one year after burnout. Their cognitive processing skills improved slightly since seeking treatment, but the experience of having been burnt out had still left them operating significantly below their non-burned-out peers or their prior self, with no signs of bouncing back.
It took two years for subjects in one of van Dam’s studies to return to “normal” levels of involvement and competence at work. following an incident of clinical burnout. However, even after a multi-year recovery period they still performed worse than the non-burned-out control group on a cognitive task designed to test their planning and preparation abilities. Though they no longer qualified as clinically burned out, former burnout sufferers still reported greater exhaustion, fatigue, depression, and distress than controls.
In his review of the scientific literature, van Dam reports that anywhere from 25% to 50% of clinical burnout sufferers do not make a full recovery even four years after their illness. Studies generally find that burnout sufferers make most of their mental and physical health gains in the first year after treatment, but continue to underperform on neuropsychological tests for many years afterward, compared to control subjects who were never burned out.
People who have experienced burnout report worse memories, slower reaction times, less attentiveness, lower motivation, greater exhaustion, reduced work capability, and more negative health symptoms, long after their period of overwork has stopped. It’s as if burnout sufferers have fallen off their previous life trajectory, and cannot ever climb fully back up.
And that’s just among the people who receive some kind of treatment for their burnout and have the opportunity to rest. I found one study that followed burned-out teachers for seven years and reported over 14% of them remained highly burnt-out the entire time. These teachers continued feeling depersonalized, emotionally drained, ineffective, dizzy, sick to their stomachs, and desperate to leave their jobs for the better part of a decade. But they kept working in spite of it (or more likely, from a lack of other options), lowering their odds of ever healing all the while.
Van Dam observes that clinical burnout patients tend to suffer from an excess of perseverance, rather than the opposite: “Patients with clinical burnout…report that they ignored stress symptoms for several years,” he writes. “Living a stressful life was a normal condition for them. Some were not even aware of the stressfulness of their lives, until they collapsed.”
Instead of seeking help for workplace problems or reducing their workload, as most people do, clinical burnout sufferers typically push themselves through unpleasant circumstances and avoid asking for help. They’re also less likely to give up when placed under frustrating circumstances, instead throttling the gas in hopes that their problems can be fixed with extra effort. They become hyperactive, unable to rest or enjoy holidays, their bodies wired to treat work as the solution to every problem. It is only after living at this unrelenting pace for years that they tumble into severe burnout.
Among both masked Autistics and overworked employees, the people most likely to reach catastrophic, body-breaking levels of burnout are the people most primed to ignore their own physical boundaries for as long as possible. Clinical burnout sufferers work far past the point that virtually anyone else would ask for help, take a break, or stop caring about their work.
And when viewed from this perspective, we can see burnout as the saving grace of the compulsive workaholic — and the path to liberation for the masked disabled person who has nearly killed themselves trying to pass as a diligent worker bee.
I wrote about the latest data on burnout "recovery," and the similarities and differences between Autistic burnout and conventional clinical burnout. The full piece is free to read or have narrated to you in the Substack app at drdevonprice.substack.com

Not all of this is actually completely useless in real life.
Reading carefully and taking special note of any easily skippable words that flip the meaning is how you should be reading rule lists and legal documents anyway; I first encountered that in test prep, but I use that skill requently in real life.
Knowing how to identify a trick question that is trying to trap you into giving and obvious but technically wrong answer will save you a lot of headaches on social media.
Recognising how people set up patterns they think are randomised is less practically useful outside of multiple choice tests, but is a great thing to know if you're trying to get a specific result on the latest uquiz.
Other test taking skills, like process of elimination and looking elsewhere in the same source for an answer, are broadly applicable in their rarified forms.
But yeah, it's silly that people learn all these as test taking skills; close reading and pattern recognition should be taught for its own sake and you shouldn't have to reverse engineer it out of a guide for gaming a score on a standardised test.
Every single time I say the phrase “I was classically trained in the art of multiple choice tests” everyone in the room who’s not a millennial laughs at my joke while all the other millennials in the room immediately look like they just walked in on a funeral by accident.

"When Ellen Kaphamtengo felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen, she thought she might be in labour. It was the ninth month of her first pregnancy and she wasn’t taking any chances. With the help of her mother, the 18-year-old climbed on to a motorcycle taxi and rushed to a hospital in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, a 20-minute ride away.
At the Area 25 health centre, they told her it was a false alarm and took her to the maternity ward. But things escalated quickly when a routine ultrasound revealed that her baby was much smaller than expected for her pregnancy stage, which can cause asphyxia – a condition that limits blood flow and oxygen to the baby.
In Malawi, about 19 out of 1,000 babies die during delivery or in the first month of life. Birth asphyxia is a leading cause of neonatal mortality in the country, and can mean newborns suffering brain damage, with long-term effects including developmental delays and cerebral palsy.
Doctors reclassified Kaphamtengo, who had been anticipating a normal delivery, as a high-risk patient. Using AI-enabled foetal monitoring software, further testing found that the baby’s heart rate was dropping. A stress test showed that the baby would not survive labour.
The hospital’s head of maternal care, Chikondi Chiweza, knew she had less than 30 minutes to deliver Kaphamtengo’s baby by caesarean section. Having delivered thousands of babies at some of the busiest public hospitals in the city, she was familiar with how quickly a baby’s odds of survival can change during labour.
Chiweza, who delivered Kaphamtengo’s baby in good health, says the foetal monitoring programme has been a gamechanger for deliveries at the hospital.
“[In Kaphamtengo’s case], we would have only discovered what we did either later on, or with the baby as a stillbirth,” she says.
The software, donated by the childbirth safety technology company PeriGen through a partnership with Malawi’s health ministry and Texas children’s hospital, tracks the baby’s vital signs during labour, giving clinicians early warning of any abnormalities. Since they began using it three years ago, the number of stillbirths and neonatal deaths at the centre has fallen by 82%. It is the only hospital in the country using the technology.
“The time around delivery is the most dangerous for mother and baby,” says Jeffrey Wilkinson, an obstetrician with Texas children’s hospital, who is leading the programme. “You can prevent most deaths by making sure the baby is safe during the delivery process.”
The AI monitoring system needs less time, equipment and fewer skilled staff than traditional foetal monitoring methods, which is critical in hospitals in low-income countries such as Malawi, which face severe shortages of health workers. Regular foetal observation often relies on doctors performing periodic checks, meaning that critical information can be missed during intervals, while AI-supported programs do continuous, real-time monitoring. Traditional checks also require physicians to interpret raw data from various devices, which can be time consuming and subject to error.
Area 25’s maternity ward handles about 8,000 deliveries a year with a team of around 80 midwives and doctors. While only about 10% are trained to perform traditional electronic monitoring, most can use the AI software to detect anomalies, so doctors are aware of any riskier or more complex births. Hospital staff also say that using AI has standardised important aspects of maternity care at the clinic, such as interpretations on foetal wellbeing and decisions on when to intervene.
Kaphamtengo, who is excited to be a new mother, believes the doctor’s interventions may have saved her baby’s life. “They were able to discover that my baby was distressed early enough to act,” she says, holding her son, Justice.
Doctors at the hospital hope to see the technology introduced in other hospitals in Malawi, and across Africa.
“AI technology is being used in many fields, and saving babies’ lives should not be an exception,” says Chiweza. “It can really bridge the gap in the quality of care that underserved populations can access.”"

Please can u write another succubus demon x Sevika?😍 but maybe this time the succubus demon only seduces women🤭 and when she saw Sevika she immediately targeted her but she didn’t use her powers/charm on her because she wanna know if Sevika would be attracted to her even without powers/charm
Different Kind Of Attraction
Sevika x Succubus!Reader
SUMMARY: You're a succubus, and only prey on women, women who're strong and independent like Sevika herself. Sevika was playing poker as per the usual at last drop, and when it was too late into the night— the game wraps up. As Sevika is about to leave the bar, she sees you; a gorgeous woman dressed in a provocative outfit bound to fall victim to any man with lewd intentions so she offers to walk you home. But Janna, did she never stop to think you'd have an effect on her.
Tumblr media
Mild Predator-Prey, smoking, gambling, slight slow burn, possible stalker!Reader, cliff hanger ending.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You've been watching her for a while now. Sevika, Silco's henchwoman, his right-hand woman. The scary lady of Zaun. A slow smirk crept on your dark glossy lips. You loved yourself a good challenge of a woman. One might assume your species only targeted men but that wasn't true. Some of you targeted women like Sevika. Women who knew how to carry themselves, who were independent and powerful. That was the kind of woman that got your panties in a twist.
The bar was rowdy. Far too rowdy for your liking so you were hidden away at a far corner, nursing your whiskey as you continued to peer over the edge of your shades, staring intently at the woman whose gambling addiction truly knew no bounds. You sighed, something about her stirred an unusual feeling inside you. The feeling of not wanting to rely on your powers for seducing her, making her yours, charming her. Claiming her.
"Sevika," you tested the name on your tongue, savoring each vowel.
Sevika, who was indulged into another intense round of poker, straightened and looked around the bar. She had gotten goosebumps when you mouthed her name.
"You good?" One of the players asked, cocking a brow and clinking his bottle of booze against the cup, pouring himself another day of mindless poker although he knew better than to challenge Sevika's skills. They lost every game to her anyway.
"Y...Yeah."
Sevika shook her head, lighting her cigarillo and taking a good inhale of the smoke, lungs protesting feebly as she exhaled it through her nose, taking another look around the bar with squinted eyes. What a weird feeling, she hadn't felt like this since... Since ever. She'd always been the one who towered over others, never the other way around. She'd never felt like... She needed to watch out for some sort of predator.
It was one in the morning when Sevika decided she was way to drunk to finish another round of poker so she slammed her hand on the table drunkenly, rattling the cups and bottles that rested over the tabletop.
"Let's call it a night," she said in a raspy voice, "Cash me out!"
The men fumbled with tight bundles of cash and pounchfuls of coins, scrambling to pay Sevika for her several victorious rounds of poker. They didn't look all that happy, yet the kept their gazes averted. You got up, zipping down the turtle neck top slightly only so that your cleavage was on display. You sauntered over to where Sevika was waiting at the table, grinning at the piling cash and coins. She glanced at you when you came by her side and stood there. "You new here? Never seen you before." Sevika asked, arms crossing beneath her poncho.
You nodded simply and placed your hands on the table edge, leaning to peer at the cash, trying to make out an estimate of her winnings. "That's quite a lot of money."
"Yeah," Sevika chuckled, eyes lingering on your curvy behind. "That's quite the nice body. And too late of a night for you to get back home alone lookin' like a snack."
"Are you hitting on me but also implying I can't protect myself?" You grinned a little.
"Just lookin' out for a pretty woman," she picked up the small sack of her winnings.
"My, my, what a gentlewoman." You gave her a smirk, straightening and flattening the hem of your dress. "Are you suggesting you'd rather walk me home?"
"Quite so."
Sevika walked to the door of Last Drop, opening it and nodding her head as a gesture for you to step out. You did so, purse slinging from your shoulder as you walked in the chilly Zaun night with Sevika by your side. Her shoulders were tense as if she was expecting trouble to pop out of every alley possible.
"Why so upright? I'm no celebrity," you giggled.
"Sorry, force of habit with Silco." Sevika grumbled, possibly a little embarrassed as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"That's okay," you interlaced your fingers within her hand's making Sevika's eyes widen slightly, glancing down where both your hands met. "You're drunk, yet you decided to walk me home. I'm grateful." You said as you continued walking by her side.
Sevika seemed like her brain had short-circuited when you held her hand. She stammered with her words in her head and only managed a small "no problem". The air was chilly, fog in the distance as you both walked. Your home wasn't too far away, but when you reached the door of your apartment, a light drizzle of rain started.
"Oh crap." You turned and pulled Sevika under the threshold of your apartment, "You'll get drenched in the rain if you go now."
"It's fine, I don't wanna be a bother—" Sevika began and made a walk back out into the drizzling downpour.
"Nonsense! You walked me home!" You grabbed her arm and stopped her.
"And?" Sevika asked curtly.
"And you'll stay the night!—" you said but she cut you off.
"But—" Sevika started.
"I insist," you said with such emphasis Sevika had no rebuttal for a minute, you took advantage of that and pulled her in with a firm grip of both hands on her flesh arm.
She walked into the small apartment, glancing around the dimly lit living room as you guided her to the couch, helping her take her poncho off. The house smelled like roses and champagne, Sevika sunk down onto the couch. She was so tall, and bulky it made most your furniture look comedically tiny. But it wasn't all that exaggerated and she didn't seem to mind.
"You gamble often?" You asked, knowing better yourself, yet for the sake of conversation.
"Yeah, it's a good source of income especially when drunken bastards love to put their money out on a golden plate for ya'." She chuckled, a little shocked when she saw you pulling out a lighter from the drawer and the exact brand of cigarillos she smoked.
You put the items down on the coffee table and walked to the kitchenette, "You usually stay up past 12?"
Sevika wasn't listening, eyes focused on the branded cigarillos, "How did you—?"
"It's impolite to ignore a direct question," you giggled, tone so sweet it could give one sugar rush, "I just... Happen to use the same brand, I suppose."
"Oh," Sevika looked at you for a second before looking back at the lighter you so graciously offered, "Yeah, I do stay up past 12 often."
"That's not good," you hummed as you walked around the kitchen, cooking.
Sevika grumbled something under her breath, probably a snarky comment on your caring attitude, her fingers wrapping around the lighter and examining it. She half-expected it to be a trap but after she didn't notice any loopholes, she took one cigarillo out, lighting it. Sevika took a deep inhale, leaning her back against the couch making it creak slightly in protest, "You don't really have to cook," she mumbled.
You weren't listening, your hand was a little shaky from maintaing your human form for so long. Your heart thudded loudly against your chest, and your heartbeat rang in your ears as you grabbed the skillet tighter. You struggled to focus on the meat you were frying, sweat beading at your brow.
"You okay?" Sevika asked and you turned, alarmed by her sudden voice.
The container of salt that rested on the countertop innocently toppled over the edge and the glass shattered on the floor. You winced at the loud sound, "Sorry," you turned the heat down, putting the spatula down in a hurry, "Be right back." You left and locked yourself in the bedroom.
"Dear Janna," Sevika mumbled, shaking her head. With the cigarillo between her lips, she walked into the kitchenette area, examining the mess you created in a haste.
"Please, just calm down," you told yourself.
You didn't want Sevika knowing you were a succubus but you felt your tail creeping under the skirt of your dress, horns protruding on the top of your head through the silky locks of hair you had brushed before deciding to present yourself to the woman. You didn't want to take advantage or feed off of her. You just wanted her. Was it such a crime to crave love as a Succubus? No, don't answer that. That was a rhetorical question.
"Are you okay?" Sevika knocked on the door, startling you once again.
"Yeah, I'll be back in a minute," you answered in a shaky voice.
You walked upto the big mirror in the room, taking a few deep breaths and closing your eyes. All you needed to do was calm down, breathe normal and act human. But how could you when Sevika's mere presence under the same roof as you caused your panties to dampen and mouth to itch? You groaned slightly, but managed to compose yourself in record time.
The door creaked open, and the scent of perfectly cooked chicken hit your nostrils, Sevika was standing in front of the skillet, effortlessly turning the meat on its surface using the spatula. The salt that was sprinkled all over the floor was also tidied up. Your eyes widened slightly in astonishment as you walked towards her.
"You can cook?" You asked in a voice that would suggest you were playfully shocked.
Sevika gave you a side glance, smirking, "You sound surprised."
You grinned and leaned against the kitchen counter opposite her, watching her loosen up in the environment of your small apartment was starting to grow on you. You really wanted her to be yours. Desperately so, too.
"I know what you are."

1. The Scientific Method (or How to Win You Over)
It starts subtly—at least, as subtle as Jayce can manage.
“You know,” he says, leaning against your desk, broad shoulders blocking your view of the latest schematics, “I was thinking—you and I should go out sometime. Just the two of us. For research purposes.”
You don’t even have time to process before Viktor, seated across from you, speaks without looking up from his own work.
“Research into what? The effects of secondhand embarrassment?”
Jayce shoots him a glare. “Into team bonding, Viktor.”
“Mm. And what hypothesis are you testing? That you can single-handedly drive them to madness?” Viktor hums, scratching something in his notes. “A bold assumption, but I suppose it is not entirely unfounded.”
Jayce turns back to you, ignoring him. “Dinner. Drinks. Maybe some—”
“A headache,” Viktor mutters.
Jayce groans, running a hand down his face before pointing at you. “You. Pick a side here.”
You exhale, setting down your pen. “I don’t even know what we’re arguing about.”
“We aren’t arguing,” Viktor says at the same time Jayce huffs, “We are arguing.”
You stare at them both. They stare at each other.
This has been happening for weeks.
It’s not always this obvious—sometimes it’s in the little things, the way Viktor always ensures your coffee is warm but lets Jayce suffer with whatever’s left in the pot. Or how Jayce somehow always has an extra set of tools whenever you’re missing yours, grinning like he wasn’t just waiting for the opportunity.
And the way they bicker—gods, it never ends.
“Fine,” you say, leaning back in your chair. “Jayce, we can do dinner. And Viktor, you can join.”
Jayce groans, throwing his head back. “Not the third-wheel invitation—”
“I accept,” Viktor interrupts smoothly.
Jayce turns to him, expression wounded. “Dude.”
“You do not own them, Jayce.”
“Neither do you!”
Viktor just smiles.
You take another sip of your coffee. This is going to be a long night.
2. The Art of Winning (or Just Being Petty)
“Y/n, my dearest, most trusted lab partner,” Viktor says, sidling up next to you while you’re examining some blueprints. “You are an artist of unparalleled skill. Would you mind assisting me with some designs?”
You raise an eyebrow, but before you can answer, Jayce materializes from across the room.
“Woah, woah, hold on, I was just about to ask them for help.”
Viktor tilts his head, feigning confusion. “Just about to? How convenient.”
Jayce narrows his eyes. “You knew I was gonna ask them—”
“Mm. And yet, I asked first.”
“That doesn’t—”
“Time is linear, Jayce. Surely you understand this.”
Jayce looks ready to explode.
You pinch the bridge of your nose. “You both know I have other work to do, right?”
They don’t. They definitely don’t.
But Jayce recovers first, flashing you his most charming smile. “C’mon, you know I have the bigger project right now—”
“Size does not determine quality, Jayce,” Viktor interrupts. “By that logic, your brain should be much more effective.”
Jayce’s jaw drops. “Did you just—?”
“Mm?” Viktor takes a slow sip of his tea.
You sigh, turning away before you witness a murder. “I’m flipping a coin. Heads, I help Jayce. Tails, I help Viktor.”
Jayce’s shoulders relax. “That seems fair.”
Viktor hums, noncommittal.
You flip. The coin lands. You glance at it.
Then, you slap it onto your palm before either of them can see and say, “I’m helping myself today.”
Viktor huffs a quiet laugh, and Jayce groans, dropping his head onto the nearest surface.
“Brilliant,” Viktor murmurs. “I am rubbing off on you.”
Jayce mumbles something into the desk. You pat his shoulder in consolation before walking away, leaving them to their stalemate.
3. The Heart of the Matter (Or: Maybe They’re Not as Subtle as They Think)
At some point, you begin to wonder if they even know what they’re fighting over.
Because it’s not just lab work. It’s not just projects, or coffee, or who gets to sit next to you during meetings.
It’s you.
And they’re both smart enough to know it, even if neither of them says it outright.
It’s in the way Jayce’s gaze lingers whenever you laugh, like he’s memorizing the sound. The way Viktor’s voice softens when he murmurs your name, careful, like he knows the weight it holds.
It’s in how they both wait for you at the end of the day, pretending it’s just coincidence.
It’s in the way Viktor watches Jayce’s arm brush against yours and says nothing, but his fingers tighten around his cane. In how Jayce watches Viktor pull you in to murmur something close and he says nothing, but his jaw tenses.
It’s in the way neither of them will ever say it—but neither of them will yield, either.
And you?Well.
You just let them fight.

what career is destined for you?
ᯓᡣ𐭩 introduction: I've been having trouble over the past few months about what I want to do for my career, so I hope this reading guides you guys if you're confused about your path since there are many roads to take. The paintings are by Fernando Amorsolo by the way!!
ᯓᡣ𐭩 reminder: this is a general reading made for entertainment purposes, so please take what resonates and leave what doesn't ^_^
ᯓᡣ𐭩 how to pick a pile: close your eyes, take a deep breath, and choose the picture to which your eyes are drawn to.

PILE 1:
the tailor and the patron
I see here that with the tailor card, your job has to do with great attention to detail. The explanation given for this card is that:
"the tailor labors at his work of love, nimble fingers, embroidering a spellbinding design into the silk. It is this passion and dedication that has made them so successful."
And I'm getting like surgery, being a surgeon, or anything really related to attention to detail, and that could also be like what the card suggests, a tailor or a sewist. I also see that with the patron card your job will be something where after you gain a lot of experience in the field, you are going to be a mentor for someone. I'm also getting it could be a job where you're a teacher.
I'm getting mentorship, but also immense attention to detail. So that could be a teacher, a guidance counselor, or a surgeon, maybe even a lawyer.
justice, nine of wands, and the hanged man
I'm seeing working anywhere with high stakes, thus the need for attention to detail. It may be a career that'll make you feel burnt out a lot but the rewards will be plentiful. Yuppie, with the nine of wands-I really do see that it's a challenging career. It will come with a lot of challenges, im seeing that you will really have to go through obstacles and rigorous testing to get to this career. The Hanged Man is making me lean towards careers that require most of your time, so that's reinforcing the careers in medicine, law, or even as a teacher. It speaks to me as a sacrifice, the sacrifice of your time.
keywords: sacrifice, surgeon, medicine, law, guidance counselor, educator, high stakes, attention to detail

For pile 2, I'm getting a lot of business, technology, and maybe even crypto trading or stocks trading visions while reading these two cards. The archer card has a lot to do with making sure you know exactly what you're shooting at, which is what's giving me the trading signs. The sleeper card's keywords are "cause and effect" and that's sort of telling me that you know, like in business, there's a lot of stakes and you really do reap what you sow. I'm also seeing the TV show Succession, lol.
eight of cups, three of coins, and the magician
With the eight of cups, I'm getting that your job could also bring you to travel to different places, it could be through business meetings abroad or being stationed in different areas. The three of coins tells me that it definitely is a job that requires a lot of teamwork, communication with others, that sort of thing. And lastly, the magician is giving me entrepreneurship vibes as well, like you could be a jack-of-all-trades kind of person and have several businesses as an entrepreneur. Or you could also be a skilled person in your company.
keywords: business, technology, trading, carefulness, caution, entrepreneur
꩜ ‧.°. 𖦹.°.‧ ꩜‧.°.𖦹 .°.‧꩜ ‧.°. 𖦹.°.‧ ꩜‧.°.𖦹 .°.‧꩜ ‧.°. 𖦹.°.‧ ꩜‧.°.𖦹 .°.‧
PILE 3:
the enchanter and the poet
The enchanter card's keywords are deception and trickery, but I'm sensing it in a way that is like in writing, you could be a great writer, especially in the thriller genre or any genre that gives shocks to the readers, like "oh! I didn't know xyz was the killer!" sort of thing. But with the poet card, funnily enough, I'm getting that you could be a great lifestyle coach as well. This pile has to do a lot with writing, maybe even starting a blog? I'm getting that you being vulnerable to an audience will help people and also help you in your career path.
queen of coins, queen of swords, knight of wands
There's a lot of queen energy here!! That's giving me the vibes that this really does have to do with nurturing others through yourself, like guiding them, that sort of thing. The queen of swords is telling me that you've been through many experiences in life, and you can use that to guide others who are going through the same thing. You could do this through blog posts, one-on-one consultations, and even videos. The knight of wands is telling me that you are the knight that will guide the people, the one who will help them get through tough times.
keywords: lifestyle coach, writer, entrepreneur, start-up owner, blogs, vulnerability

Generative AI Policy (February 9, 2024)
Tumblr media
As of February 9, 2024, we are updating our Terms of Service to prohibit the following content:
Images created through the use of generative AI programs such as Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and Dall-E.
This post explains what that means for you. We know it’s impossible to remove all images created by Generative AI on Pillowfort. The goal of this new policy, however, is to send a clear message that we are against the normalization of commercializing and distributing images created by Generative AI. Pillowfort stands in full support of all creatives who make Pillowfort their home. Disclaimer: The following policy was shaped in collaboration with Pillowfort Staff and international university researchers. We are aware that Artificial Intelligence is a rapidly evolving environment. This policy may require revisions in the future to adapt to the changing landscape of Generative AI.
-
Why is Generative AI Banned on Pillowfort?
Our Terms of Service already prohibits copyright violations, which includes reposting other people’s artwork to Pillowfort without the artist’s permission; and because of how Generative AI draws on a database of images and text that were taken without consent from artists or writers, all Generative AI content can be considered in violation of this rule. We also had an overwhelming response from our user base urging us to take action on prohibiting Generative AI on our platform.
-
How does Pillowfort define Generative AI?
As of February 9, 2024 we define Generative AI as online tools for producing material based on large data collection that is often gathered without consent or notification from the original creators.
Generative AI tools do not require skill on behalf of the user and effectively replace them in the creative process (ie - little direction or decision making taken directly from the user). Tools that assist creativity don't replace the user. This means the user can still improve their skills and refine over time.
For example: If you ask a Generative AI tool to add a lighthouse to an image, the image of a lighthouse appears in a completed state. Whereas if you used an assistive drawing tool to add a lighthouse to an image, the user decides the tools used to contribute to the creation process and how to apply them.
Examples of Tools Not Allowed on Pillowfort: Adobe Firefly* Dall-E GPT-4 Jasper Chat Lensa Midjourney Stable Diffusion Synthesia
Example of Tools Still Allowed on Pillowfort:
AI Assistant Tools (ie: Google Translate, Grammarly) VTuber Tools (ie: Live3D, Restream, VRChat) Digital Audio Editors (ie: Audacity, Garage Band) Poser & Reference Tools (ie: Poser, Blender) Graphic & Image Editors (ie: Canva, Adobe Photoshop*, Procreate, Medibang, automatic filters from phone cameras)
*While Adobe software such as Adobe Photoshop is not considered Generative AI, Adobe Firefly is fully integrated in various Adobe software and falls under our definition of Generative AI. The use of Adobe Photoshop is allowed on Pillowfort. The creation of an image in Adobe Photoshop using Adobe Firefly would be prohibited on Pillowfort.
-
Can I use ethical generators?
Due to the evolving nature of Generative AI, ethical generators are not an exception.
-
Can I still talk about AI?
Yes! Posts, Comments, and User Communities discussing AI are still allowed on Pillowfort.
-
Can I link to or embed websites, articles, or social media posts containing Generative AI?
Yes. We do ask that you properly tag your post as “AI” and “Artificial Intelligence.”
-
Can I advertise the sale of digital or virtual goods containing Generative AI?
No. Offsite Advertising of the sale of goods (digital and physical) containing Generative AI on Pillowfort is prohibited.
-
How can I tell if a software I use contains Generative AI?
A general rule of thumb as a first step is you can try testing the software by turning off internet access and seeing if the tool still works. If the software says it needs to be online there’s a chance it’s using Generative AI and needs to be explored further.
You are also always welcome to contact us at [email protected] if you’re still unsure.
-
How will this policy be enforced/detected?
Our Team has decided we are NOT using AI-based automated detection tools due to how often they provide false positives and other issues. We are applying a suite of methods sourced from international universities responding to moderating material potentially sourced from Generative AI instead.
-
How do I report content containing Generative AI Material?
If you are concerned about post(s) featuring Generative AI material, please flag the post for our Site Moderation Team to conduct a thorough investigation. As a reminder, Pillowfort’s existing policy regarding callout posts applies here and harassment / brigading / etc will not be tolerated.
Any questions or clarifications regarding our Generative AI Policy can be sent to [email protected].

Prioritising: how to prioritise + use it effectively to take control of your life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi girlies🐩💗 So yesterday i was incredibly lazy and unproductive and pathetic. I didn’t do any work and i was mostly on the screens. The worst part about it is that it was unintentional. Meaning that if it was planned as a “off day” bc i did a bunch of work that week, it would be fine. But it wasn’t planned. And it felt utterly horrible.
So i decided to take control of my life because i have no one to blame but MYSELF. I am in complete control of myself so now i am going to use that to my best advantage. It’s time to…
✨prioritise what matters✨
This is a step-by-step guide to how to prioritise what actually matters to you and then acting on it. So without further ado, lettuce(random pun sorry) begin :)
Tumblr media
Step 1: figure out whats important to you/ your goals.
What’s important to you in life? Is it being online and scrolling on your phone all day? Or is it getting good grades, staying healthy and happy? What is it? Identify this first.
For me, its:
Time with loved ones
Enough sleep
Good grades + being smart & educated
Looking and feeling good + taking care of myself
Having hobbies & skills
God
This is the first step to learning how to prioritising things. It’s not about doing a bunch of hard work for something that you dont even care about, it’s so that you can do a bunch of hard work for something you do care about, so you’re working towards a goal.
Tumblr media
Step 2: make an action plan to achieve/ accomplish these.
So now that you know whats really important and what matters to you (aka your goals), create some bullet points/ things you can do to achieve those goals.
For example;
Goal: spending more time with loved ones
Spend time with my sibling
Talk more to my parents
Call grandma / friends
Goal: getting high grades + being smart & educated
Study study study. Study for tests at least a week in advance
Read a lot. Not just what you normally read, read outside your comfort zone! (So for me this would be history, classics, arts & fashion, etc.)
Listen to podcasts about different things
Goal: feeling & looking good + taking care of myself
Wash hair 2x a week
Skincare
Pamper yourself + self care days
Exercise
Going outside/ walking
Posture!! (Calling YOU out)
Tumblr media
Final: execution
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once you know these mini goals/ habits/ steps you need to take, then its time for the most important part:
Execution.
Doing all this, is completely USELESS if you don’t apply it to your life. So now it’s time to actually do it.
“B-b-but i dont have time!”
Um okay.. but you have time for scrolling? Use this thing i once heard called “time stealing”.
Whenever you catch yourself scrolling or doing something unintentionally unproductive, then stop yourself and use that time instead on doing something that moves you towards your goal.
Having the steps you can take to reach those goals written down somewhere means that whenever you feel bored or need something productive to do, you have those things to go to!

Sensitive | 18+ | Sato/Sugu/Fem!Reader
The argument had gotten out of hand. You weren't quite sure how it had spiraled the way it had, but both men were nearly at each other's throats debating who was better at "giving head"... yeah.
"You didn't even know where the fucking clit was until I showed you." Suguru nearly yelled, your hands coming up to hide your face as you began to laugh. "Oh, bull shit! You didn't even know there were two holes down there till y/n told you!" Satoru retorted, face turning red.
"Neither did you?" Suguru's eyes narrowed, forehead creasing as he stared at Satoru. "At least I made her cum the first try." Satoru spat, a low gasp interrupting your laughter at his comment. Suguru's lips parted, eyes widening as he stared at Satoru.
"At least I didn't blow my load within two thrusts." This time, your gasp was accompanied by Satoru's, a hand dramatically splaying over his heart. You half expected him to throw in the towel, but instead, you were graced with Satoru's loud proclamation of "At least I didn't blow my load in my jeans because she sat on my lap."
Now you were hiding your face again, trying to desperately stifle your laughter as the two men hurled insults at one another regarding their first times. More specifically... their first time with you. You only found it funny because you could recall each moment they brought up. "At least I didn't cum untouched cause she kissed my neck." Suguru shot back, watching Satoru visibly crumble at that one.
"Alright alright enough!" You clapped your hands, effectively shutting both men up. "Just admit you're both whores for me and move on." They just looked at you, eyes slowly shifting over to one another before looking back at you. "I guess I can't deny that." Satoru admitted in defeat, moving to sit beside you on the couch again.
"Neither can I, but it settles nothing!" Suguru huffed, moving to sit on the other side of you. "it's not really a debate either of you can answer, ya know." You comment softly, settling back into the plush sofa now that both of them are beside you again. "Again, you're right... so how do we settle this then?" Satoru sighed, throwing his arm over the back of the couch and glancing at both of you.
"We settle it by using the only option we have." You stated boldly, hoping they would understand. "Ahh I see..." Suguru started, arm coming up to rest on top of Satoru's just behind your head. "You want us to both put our skills to the test, and you decide?" Suguru smirked, watching as you nodded triumphantly. "Well, you heard the woman, Satoru. Get to work." Beside you, Satoru was laughing, already pushing himself off of the couch and to his knees before you.
"Sure thing, just don't get pissed when she says I'm better."

➷ CUPID SOCIETY ( 엔시티 위시 )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary . . . nct wish hyung line as cupids in training!!
genre fluff , cupid au , headcanons , nct wish hyung line x reader   cw arrows and potion consumption lol , like usual i struggled with yushi so i'm sorry if his sucks idk why i'm so bad at writing him :') , not proofread   wc 650   request no   note this was supposed to be an ot6 headcanon but i was running out of ideas for maknaes :( i will probably write the maknae line ver of this soon tho!! for now just the hyung line </3 maknae line version now posted   net @kstrucknet @chrimatanet
Tumblr media
OH SION ミ 오시온
does not take his cupid training seriously at all
once he gets his own bow and arrows this man is a menace
shoots arrows at people for his own entertainment
will play evil cupid
if two people on campus hate each other he’s gonna shoot an arrow at least one of them and giggle while watching them fall for each other
his matches have a surprisingly high turnout rate though
once the effects of his arrows wear off the couple is usually still infatuated with each other
this inflates his ego though
will not use his “skills” on demand for anyone
no matter how much another student offers to pay him
and his ability to refuse any offer he gets just makes him get even more
and this boosts his ego even more until he’s almost insufferably full of himself
his ego is eventually shut down by you though
when you start to compete with him over who can be a better cupid
and eventually one of your arrows ends up hitting him
the boy is down bad for you from that moment on
perhaps that was your plan the entire time
MAEDA RIKU ミ 前田 陸
riku is the type of student that everyone loves
he’s always showing people around and helping them out
as if he’s been attending the school for decades
knows all the in’s and out’s
is somehow friends with every teacher
even knows secret pieces of knowledge about cupids and their magic
and he really likes to share the things he knows with people close to him
builds up a reputation this way as someone that is impossible to dislike
and he’s seriously popular with the girls as well
not that any of them land a date with him though
the one thing he does keep secret is the person he’s been crushing on since he first stepped into the school
although he is very talented with a bow and arrow
and can also concoct a pretty strong love potion
he knows not to use his magic on you
it would be wrong to make you fall in love with him like that
and he would feel too guilty about it
so he stays admiring you from the background hoping one day he’ll get the courage to ask you out
but lucky for him he won’t have to wait too long :)
TOKUNO YUSHI ミ 得能勇志
he’s quite inconspicuous
doesn’t talk very much and is quite shy with other students
so no one really gets to know him well
if they did, they would find out how passionate he truly is as a new cupid
he spends most of his time sharpening his arrows or trying new potion recipes
he even concocts his own potions that have never been done before
he doesn’t have anyone to test them out on, so he has to be his own test subject
they’re usually ineffective despite his attempts at researching
when the potions go wrong, he goes missing from classes for days at a time
you’ve noticed yushi from the sidelines and became curious about his disappearances
you decide to become his friend to find out why
which is hard at first because he’s incredibly awkward and it takes a while to get comfortable with him
but, with persistence, you do
he tells you about his potions, which you find fascinating
and finally having someone who is genuinely interested in him and what he’s doing is the push yushi needs to gain some confidence
you become best friends and always hang around each other
eventually, you test out one of yushi’s new potions with him
and it goes a little wrong right
yushi is so used to his potions failing that he hadn’t expected this one to work quite so well
now he has to deal with his best friend utterly enamoured with him every second of the day
but maybe that isn’t such a bad thing

Aphrodesiacs
Miguel O’Hara x fem! spidey! reader
yk that bit of spiderman lore between silk and peter where they were bitten by the same spider and can’t be near each other without feeling….
yeah this is that but with Miguel. SO NSFW. i love blue balling y’all. PART 2 IS UP NOW!
Tumblr media
There were certain things that were absolutely not up for discussion when it came to Miguel: his leadership skills, his authority, his ability to lead this society, his daughter and…you.
There were too many issues to discuss about your strange…he didn’t even know what to call it at this point. See, you were both bitten by the same spider which everyone deemed highly impossible, but it happened. What came with being bit by the same spider were chemically and biologically bound side effects no one knew the first thing about. You and Miguel were more enhanced than the others, in many ways, many uncomfortable and impossibly distracting ways. You were physically drawn to each other, unable to physically feel anything but an intense primal, primitive and animalistic sexual attraction to one another. Neither of you could be in the same room without wanting to fuck like bunnies. The chemical compounds in your brains were the same, and it made you both become aphrodesiacs for each other. No one knew about it other than Lyla and Jess.
This was a problem, he was your boss and you couldn’t actually look at him without feeling hot and wet, you had fangs the same way he did but no one knew about it, Lyla made sure of it. Miguel on the other hand was a wreck because of it, his blood would burn at the mere thought of you. He worked his body out to the bone, he would work out and sweat the thoughts and desires away from him. It never worked. But he needed to pretend it did. Neither of you would anticipate how drastic it could be. You knew it was the genetics and the chemicals from the same spider that bit you which made you weary of ever getting close to one another but Lord, the desires were still there. It felt like you were muzzled and on a leash, hindered by moral righteousness. You both knew you couldn’t give in but that was rather difficult when you actually needed to see one another.
You ripped a hole in your suit, where your waist was and only Miguel seemed to have the supplies to fix it. A massive horizontal gash that exposed your skin. Your brain was dreading to see him, your heart said otherwise and your pussy throbbed at the mere idea. It was like you were magnets, constantly avoiding due to the the impossibility to be pulled apart. Taking a deep breath to keep a cool calm head seemed to work momentarily and then you walked into his lair.
Miguel could smell you from here. His skin tightened and his muscles tensed when he felt your scent wrap around him, like a warm golden glow. He would taint you in red. He would break you. He knew this. That’s why he could never….
“You know you can’t be here.” He sighed, ignoring your presence as he was staring blankly at his screens. “You know I can’t concentrate.” He added quietly.
You swallowed thickly and closed your eyes, wincing slightly. “I know we’re not- Look, I just need you to fix my suit and Lyla told me I had to fix it immediately or the wiring would go to shit. You know I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t need to.”
Miguel paused and blinked slightly at the last thing you said. You did need to see him. You did need to be here but neither of you wanted to talk about the true reason. He turned his head to face you. He wanted to groan at the sight of you.
Miguel had to force himself not to stare at your body and the way your suit clung to it, there was a massive gash in it that exposed the skin of your waist. Why did God always have to test his patience? Lord above give him strength. Even with his impeccable self control and strength, it took everything in his power to resist the urge to throw you against the floor and...Miguel groaned softly and rolled his eyes. “If that's what it takes...”
“I know you want to get rid of me quickly. I promise it won’t take long.” You say hurriedly as you hop onto his platform. You were really close to each other now, You swallowed and your breathing became slightly more shallow. Please let this be quick. Please. You begged silently. “I just need you too stitch my suit on my waist for me.” You say. “Quickly…” You added breathily. You had to get closer for him to actually help you and as he sat in his chair and pulled out his supplies, he raised an eyebrow to lure you closer. He felt his body tighten as you breathed so near him. The electricity was sizzling between you. Your heart beats synchronized and your minds only on one thing.
You got closer and you were practically standing inbetween his legs, you saw his breath hitch slightly but Miguel was a master at not letting his mask slip. He was good at pretending. His brow furrowed slightly, making a fruitless effort of avoiding that fucking look in your eyes. That face. Fuck.
This was bad, this was so dangerous. Being this close could end in a catastrophe for the both of you.
He paused before he put his fingers on your suit, a spark of electricity caused your body to still. He just closed his eyes and breahed out hurridly. He bit the bullet and grabbed your waist for you to stumble closer.
He needed to get this over and done with. No matter what it took, he needed to get you away from him. You gasped a little when he did that and he could feel that sound travel all the way to his dick. He tried to ignore it by getting to work and scanning your suit and then stitching up. His fingers worked at the speed of light. Your eyes just widened, continuing your mindless gawk as hazy thoughts of grabbing his hair and lowering his head further down between your thighs clouded your head. You tried to shake the sensation of his hands gripping your waist but it felt impossible, part of you genuinely wanted to grit your teeth until they shattered- the tension hurt.
Miguel always seemed to be perfectly fine on the outside, he had masked emotions other than anger or annoyance very well but this was causing that picture of himself to falter at the seams. Internally, he was breaking apart. Weakened by desperation. Lord, you were his weakness.
Images of you flashed through his head as he stitched, he wanted you tied up. Yes. With your own webs. Letting him have his way with you, pounding you until you cried and begged him to stop. He would fill you up, make you guzzle his cum as you pleaded for more. He let out a soft grunt at the sheer idea.
His fingers moved quickly as he sewed your torn suit together. “Why are you always getting hurt?” Miguel's voice was raspy, and he was unable to control his breathing. Miguel did his best to look away, but the smell of your exposed your skin was making it hard for him to think clearly. Your body was perfect. Jesus, it was like it was made for him.
You swallowed hard, your thoughts became hazy as he was this close. His hands were brushing on you and you tensed slightly at his fleeting barely there touchs. “Mm- I’m not always getting hurt.” You say softly, if you said it any louder you were sure you would moan.
“Right,” Miguel mumbled softly, his words catching in his throat. “I'm sure you were just passing by when you ran into trouble.” Miguel kept his eyes down to avoid meeting your gaze. All you could do was scowl at him. He finished his work and immediatly grabbed your waist and pushed you away as he got up from his chair to stare at his screens again as a means to avoid looking at you. “Don’t come back here.” He muttered at you seriously.
“I won’t.” You glowered at his broad and muscular back. You lied though, you were sure you’d be back. “But…I can’t keep going on like this.”
His ears pricked up at your admission and he felt the exact same way. Miguel's body was on fire. He wanted you. Right now. He didn't know what would happen if he gave into his urges. His body was shaking, and he had to make a conscious effort to keep his hands to himself. He was trying not to touch you, but every move you made, every tiny shift, only made your body more desirable. “Please, go.” Miguel choked, his voice harsh and strained.
You did as you were told and you hurriedly left. Praying that this would naturally wear off as long as you stayed away from him.
-
It had been a few days since your interaction and you had both successfully avoided each other since then but he could still feel your presence whenever you were at HQ. He could still feel the air in his office carrying your scent.
Now it was 2AM and he was still in his office. He was banging another hookup over his desk, she was bent over just so he couldn’t look at her. She was pretty but she wasn’t you. As his dick slid in and out, her moans fell flat to him, he only wanted to hear you. He was praying that this one would be the one that made him forget about you, that this one would tamper down his sexual anger and frustration but no. He got angrier. Animalistic. All he could think about was you. He was pretty sure he was hurting her when he was like this. His mood soured when he wondered what he would do to you if he finally gave in. Would he hurt you? God, what if he did….
He never wanted to hurt you.
He knew you would never be able to take it, to take all of it.
You on the other hand were in your apartment, also fucking a random hookup. You were hoping it would help your predicament but if anything it was making you more frustrated. He wasn’t fucking big enough. Yeah, his dick was better than average but it didn’t have the girth that Miguel would- You shook your head out of any thoughts of him and decided to be in the moment. You decided that it was a terrible moment. There were much more irritating things than faking an orgasm like your incessant need for Miguel.
Even though you were being fucked by another guy all you could thing about was: Miguel, Miguel, Miguel.
Nothing was working, for either of you.
-
Your mind wandered towards another way to fix this. Maybe there was a suppressant or an antidote to help keep down these primal urges and desires. These thoughts were keeping you from doing any sort of work, you couldn’t concentrate properly. Your mind was burned alive by constant thoughts of him in so many different situations. So you decided to talk to him about it. He’d probably end up killing you for even thinking about it but you were way passed that.
You sighed deeply before thrumming up the guts to see him again. Entering his lair was never a welcome idea to anyone but you and him were struggling and he was lying to himself. Miguel felt your presence again, your scent, your skin. He tampered down the jumping urge to drag you by your ankles and-
“I know you didn’t want me here again but we need to talk.” You crossed your arms but it further accentuated your chest, his stare lingered for a moment and he looked blank. Then he looked back down at a new suit he was fixing up and seemed unamused. That look just made you even more wet and desperate for his attention.
“No… we don’t.” He said thickly and your knees started buckling under the pressure. You swallowed.
“Uhm…there has to be an antidote for this or a suppressant for whatever…this is.” You said hurriedly. “Maybe I can manufacture one, I think I might be able to if I could genetically scan the spider and take it’s DNA and change its raw qualities…” Miguel watched you pace desperately as you rambled on, not even looking at him, you were pleading for a solution to this and he was getting more and more annoyed.
He stared at your lips as you spoke. Flashes of you on your knees, drooling and gagging on his cock pierced the forefront of his mind, causing his legs to feel nothing but limp. The things he wanted to do to you. He was an addict because of you.
“There is no cure for it!” He grunted loudly, cutting you off. “Hell, I’ve tried to make one since the first day I met you and all you’ve done is make me lose my fucking self control. You just standing there is enough to make me go crazy for you and I. Can’t. Help. It. I can smell you, I know you want me too but we have to fight it. We have to manage this because if you let me get close to you, I know I’ll hurt you and I won’t let that opportunity arise.” He admitted in a frenzy, his teeth almost shattering against each other, jaw clenching and unclenching. He ran a hand through his dishevelled hair as his eyes bore a ruby hue and his breathing became uneven and heavy.
You bit your lip at his angry outburst, not being able to deny how turned on you were by his rage and lack of self control. Part of you thought your mind was playing tricks on your or that you were hullicinating all of this as you were dulled by a cloud of lust, but no. You were very aware now that it was real. You were both feral for each other. You just glowered him.
“I have denied every single impulse I have ever had for you.” You grit out. “Maybe I want you to make it hurt, because any other kind of hurt right now is better than the pure need for you to fuck me right here, right now. You are not the only one who is capable of making another person hurt. Maybe I blame you. Maybe I can’t get you out of my head. Maybe I need your cock in me. Whatever….I just need to do something about it or else I’ll go fucking insane.” Miguel watched your brows furrow and your lips loosen as you uttered those fated words. His eyes glazed over twice and widened, your words were sharp and unfeeling. He believed that if you weren’t this way you wouldn’t find a need to be cruel and direct, the way your eyes glimmered yet darkened with need and passion caused him to halt in his tracks, now you were inching closer to him and he didn’t know what to do.
“It's impossible to create an antidote,it genetically and chemically changed our code.” Miguel mumbled, his voice husky and strained. “We're stuck like this...” He sighed, trying to collect himself. “Look, we just have to learn how to handle this," Miguel muttered, trying to convince himself more than you. “We'll learn to control ourselves. This...this is manageable.”
He didn’t believe any of the lies he spewed. There’s no way this was managable.
“Why do I get the feeling that that is not true.” You say softly, biting your lip and blinking up at him. Neither of you knew how you got this close now, it was like you were drawn to each other.
“Stop giving me that look. I-I can’t-“ He breathed heavily, trying to rescue himself or beg for your mercy. He didn’t know which one. Miguel hung his head and quickly turned his head as to not face you. “I’ll hurt you.” He added stoically.
“I. Don’t. Care ”
