Mum said she wasn’t hungry so she just watch me eating my All Day Special (S$17.90) at Astons Specialities. The plate came with a piece of grilled chicken which you select from one of the seven available flavours. I chose the fiery chicken flavour which incidentally isn’t as spicy as it was meant to be. Also comes with six Vienna sausages and scrambled egg plus you get to choose two side dishes to go along. I opted for the house salad and potato wedges.

I've been eating real home-cooked food everyday basically except the 2 days my mom kicked me out (that's a story for another post) and my body feels so.....good? And it's like, ik there's a ton of cals in it but if I keep being able to portion control i should be fine???? I don't even feel the need to binge bc it's not shitty empty carbs it's real food. I've been bloated everyday for 3 months and I woke up this morning completely bloat free??

Ep 36: Fiery Chicken Soup

Cut Jinhua ham and whole chicken to pieces. Boil water and put chicken in it, blanch and remove.

Rinse in cold water and put in another pot. Add in water, wolfberry, scallion, ginger, Jinhua ham and an appropriate amount of rice wine.

Boil over high heat then let stew slowly over low heat.

Fiery Chicken Fries

Fiery Chicken Fries, they're back again at BK. Haven't had 'em in a while, so I think I'll get 'em today.

There is some heat to them. Yes, that much is clear...but do they bring the flavor? Well...not quite, I fear.

I found them kind of bland, yet still, not bad at all...although the ones I got were burnt and kind of small.

At four bucks for an eight piece, it's not a killer deal...and I would need to get more for it to be a meal.

They're alright I guess, six out of ten from me...Overall I'd say they're satisfactory.
