The worst investment ever
Who would want to invest in a company that makes products that kill 7 million people every year? Every reasonable person will refuse to invest his or her money in something that might destroy humanity.
But what you don't know is that you are investing in these companies without knowing. Dr. Bronwyn King, a radiologist oncologist, talks about the tobacco companies in TED Talk in January 2017.
Dr. Bronwyn King that we are investing in tobacco companies without knowing it through health insurance companies, banks, and other institutions that take our money to invest in tobacco companies.
She suggests that fund leaders adopt certain criteria before entering into any type of investment with tobacco companies. These criteria include several questions:
"The first question: Can the product manufactured by the company be used safely?"
"The second question: Do this company's products cause problems on a global level?"
"The third question: Can cooperation with the company be an effective means of change?
There is also a global agreement signed by more than 180 countries regulating the sale of tobacco products, and this country is bound by this agreement. This can be seen from the decrease in the number of smokers, but Dr. Bronwyn King says that isn't enough yet.
As Dr. Bronwyn King, that tobacco companies rely on child labor to make their products. And Dr. Bronwyn King that there are studies in Australia on the age at which children start smoking, which is "16 years and two months," adding Dr. Bronwyn King also said that this age is considered the oldest age in the world because, in poor societies, children start smoking at a younger age than this.
Dr. Bronwyn King ends her TED talk with some good news that a lot of Australian citizens have made the transactions required to withdraw any investment related to the tobacco companies.

old sport
Id: 123872 Date: 29.11.2020 Old sports Did you know that the 6th of April has been designated by UNESCO as the International Day of Sport? Well, maybe this is in our time now. But, even in pre-Christian times, the great Roman Empire celebrated the Olympiad every four years in sports, men gathered from everywhere in Romania at the Great Coliseum to compete for the championship title. The Olympic Games were usually reserved for men and were held to honor the Roman gods and to celebrate Zeus, the god of the gods. The Roman warriors who participated in this competition covered themselves in oil before the competition began. The Olympic Games were a group of competitions in which men competed and the person who was the best in all competitions has crowned the champion and was honored by the king. In addition, the winning person gets a lot of prizes from his townspeople and gets provisions for the rest of his life. Women entered the Olympic Games after it was restricted to men, as men were only allowed to watch and compete in the Olympic Games; but after the Roman kings decided to honor the goddess Hera, the wife of Zeus. But, one of the conditions was for a woman to be single. The Olympic Games included running races. Moreover, in some races, the competitors must wear heavy armor that weighs from 50-70 pounds This event also included competitions such as wrestling and brutal boxing because the contestants used to put cloth or iron on their hands and the winner was the one who put his opponent's shoulder on the ground. The competitions also included throwing the iron bar, javelin throwing, running, jumping, and stick jumping for a long distance. These competitions were very important, especially for military training. The Olympic Games event was not just about displaying competitions and crowning champions. The king did not meet with the governors except for a short time, due to the expansion of the Roman Empire and the distance between cities. This event was an opportunity for discussion of the country's economic and political matters. Sources: https://www.ushistory.org/civ/5h.asp https://www.britannica.com/sports/Olympic-Games

Strange advice
Do you dare to talk about death with someone you love? Thinking of death alone is sufficient until you enter into a strange state of stillness and is often followed by a great feeling of depression. Usually, you will not find someone to advise you and say Talk about your death and how you would like to die.
This strange advice was mentioned by Michelle Knox on the TED show. On 01/17/2018 Mrs. Knox talked about the importance of discussing death as long as we are in good health, and she mentioned many good reasons.
Death is the inevitable end from which no matter how we try to escape, it will remain a reality that must be faced one day. When it comes to death, Mrs. Knox advises her fans that the first thing to think about is a will. Each person must have written his or her legal will.
You should also think about how you want to die and where you want to die so that you get a comfortable death, and so that your family can help, you fulfill your last desires before death.
Mrs. Knox mentioned an interesting thing about different cultures in honoring the memory of the dead. Some cultures honor the memory of the dead by burning the corpse and spreading the ashes in a place the dead loved.
In our Arab culture, we honor the memory of the dead by building a mosque or making donations in the name of the dead person.
At the end of the conversation, Mrs. Knox mentions how she wants her last day in life to be a big party full of champagne, laughter, and music for people to remember with it.

Do you have a Toyota corolla car proppley a memper of your family give to you or you bought it you self for one of the reasones below.
Every Body first choice
Have you ever asked yourself while driving about the number of cars that you see in front of you, have you ever noticed the spread of one brand of cars more than another has? If the answer is yes, then you must have noticed that the most and best-used cars are Toyota cars.
However, why is Toyota, especially a Corolla?
There are several reasons why people buy this type of car instead of the luxury one. Although this company is more than 50 years old, it has preserved its reputation among people as the best-used cars, the safest and most importantly the cheapest cars.
1- Available everywhere: Since 1966, Toyota began producing cars and has sold up to this moment more than 45 million cars around the world. This is because the Corolla is one of the most produced cars around the world so that it is available to all people in the world and everywhere.
2- You must have noticed that cars are constantly evolving in terms of the exterior structure and also the safety and comfort settings inside the car. Well, Toyota also did not forget this point. When comparing the two Corolla cars between 2005 and 2019, you will find a big difference in the shape of the car, and this is impressive. With the exciting exterior shape of the car, you will find that its price is within your reach.
3- The name of the Corolla has become the most reliable car for people. For anyone to advise about cars, the name Corolla must be mentioned as one of the options in front of you as it is the most trusted car in the world.
4- Toyota Corolla car is a good investment for the money, the price is affordable, and fixing faults in it can be in any garage and finding spare parts for it is very easy, because of its widespread, many people have experience in how to repair cars so you will find the price Very cheap or at your fingertips.
Ordinary people like you and I might buy a Corolla, but some people love to be proud and famous, they like to be different from others, and they prefer luxury cars for showing off or self-esteem or mybe they like to spend money on cars. Who knows?

Audio tpice: why children stay silent following sexual violence |Kristin Jones
A revolting social phenomenon
Sexual abuse is a widespread phenomenon in all societies, but that doesn't make it okay. Kristen Jones talks about this phenomenon on TED, especially when children are exposed to sexual violence, and then they receive the blame completely on them rather than the perpetrator being to blame.
Kristen mentioned her story on the date of 24.10.2020 when she was exposed to sexual violence, but it was not from a stranger but from someone she knew who might be one of her relatives, and that made her feel ashamed and that the blame was on her.
Kristen focuses a lot on the topic of shame and the mistake she made when she was little and that she was feeling shame for a long period without telling her parents. According to Kristen After reveling in the mother of two wonderful children she understands why you are trying to protect your children, but you should not hold them responsible for everything.
"The shame is so powerful that it can become part of who we are" is how Kristen described the shame she felt that every child feels has been exploited and manipulated by people with dead consciences toward children who are always fleeing blame.
When we tell the child, "Do not let anyone touch you," we are in fact as though we are blaming him if he is exposed to the abuse and this makes the child feel shame and resort to silence, which may negatively affect his life. Talking about this type of personal secrets needs strength, but many people cannot talk about their exposure. For sexual abuse during their childhood like Kristen did

Cool, but deadly habit
Most of the things that ancient man knew happened by chance. The discovery of fire came by chance, the discovery of coffee came by accident as well, and so was the discovery of tobacco. This happened when a tired or possibly injured man rested at a burning pile of tobacco. Legend has it that the mass of tobacco spoke to him or somehow inhaling the smell of burnt tobacco made him feel better.
This coincidence that led to the discovery of tobacco put governments and the World Health Organization in front of the smoking problem, which is widespread around the world.
According to statistics, smoking is the cause of one in five deaths in the United States, and this means more than 480000 deaths annually in the United States. These figures are very frightening in addition to the fact that smoking reduces a person's life by 10 years. But what makes smoking widespread despite the widespread campaigns against it, as smoking companies are the wealthiest in the world.
Since smoking Tobacco has an old history, it has to create cultural background that makes smoking and the trade in tobacco products popular today.
In some cultures, smoking is considered something expected of males, especially if the boy becomes an adult, because smoking is a sign of masculinity and this is the most widespread stereotype of smoking, as women smoking is considered an abnormal and reprehensible matter in some cultures and this could be due to the nature of advertisements and propaganda Promoting smoking, where the man often appeared smoking in a wonderful way.
In addition, smoking is considered a calming of nerves, as it is appropriate before starting medical operations, despite the availability of alternatives to it. Smoking is also considered spiritual thing in some Indian cultures.
Because of all these awareness campaigns to reduce the spread of smoking, tobacco companies claim that they have found a healthy alternative, which is vamping or smoking in the tube, as some people believe that if you add water to tobacco, that makes it less harmful, which is what modern medicine has proven to be incorrect.

New eyes for life
Life needs a person with a broad chest, life is full of surprises, and every situation is connected to other situations separated by a period that maybe years, but the human-led naturally to judges situations at the time they occur, which makes his insight very limited. Heather Lanier teaches us an important lesson in the TED talk show about this human tendency.
In October 2017, Heather Lanier talked about a lesson she learned about evaluating situations that happen to us in life and that in every situation there is a lesson to be learned, her lesson was you cannot judge that situation is good or bad, but rather you must accept it with an open attitude and see where life takes you next.
Heather Lanier invites people to see life as it is without prejudice so that you can see how beautiful life is and what lessons we can learn as described by Heather Lanier in other words, "just another expression of human experience."
Human life is not heaven also it is not hell, and this is something everyone should know. Life is volatile and moody and depends on the decisions you make, and sometimes life opposes your decisions, but there is nothing that you can call bad or good.
But the lesson is to accept everything as it is and not to judge things because they are not scientific facts but rather life. Life is fickle and flexible. You can describe life as a sea, once the sea is rough and once it is good and seaworthy, but every time there is a lesson that you must understand.
"Good or bad hard to say," Heather Lanier said. Perhaps you love something and it is bad for you and perhaps you hate something and it is good for you, but in both cases, you will learn something and the most important thing is to be satisfied with how life can be and to try to live the bittersweet moments of life, this is what gives you wisdom And experience.

One of the main reasons for the rapid recovery of the American economy, which made it one of the largest economic powers in the world, is the cotton and sugar trade, as it used to export 75% of the cotton distributed around the world, and the same applies to sugar. But this economic power was built on the shoulders of slaves, and this is what many do not know about the secret of the strength of the American economy.

The social and economic business of slavery.
ID:123872

Words: 346
Did you know that there are still people in America who differentiate between the white person and the black person? Did you know that in France the policy of separating white children fro m from children still exists in French schools?
In our minds, there is a stereotype that the slave is black and this is because of European colonialism who came to Africa in search of spices and instead kidnapped people and sold them to serve in Europe and America.
In the past, when wars between tribes and kingdom's were still going on, before the colonial movement and even before the Arabs began taking blacks as slaves for them, slaves were prisoners of war from kingdoms and other defeated trips, so the slave was of the same race of the master at that time and Maybe from the same sector may be the slave and master are from the same family in the case of civil wars.
Slavery continues to this day, but the name differs. Instead of a slave called an employee, because of the similarity of the work method, but with much better conditions than before. The employee now receives the salary at the end of the month and has the freedom to do whatever he wants, except that he is charged with obeying his boss at work, so he goes to work at a specific time and leaves work at a specific time. Servitude today may be subordinate to the government or subordinate to private businesses such as companies and institutions. Who is the free person who is the merchant?
In the past, slavery was a major driver of global trade. The slave trader sells slaves to landowners, farms, and farm owners who provide food and home to the slave. The slave works in his master’s land, so the master sells the crop and exports it abroad. The simplest example for us is the cotton trade in America as America is the largest slave importer from Africa and the world's largest exporter of cotton, approximately 75% of the cotton is produced by America.

The power of imagination
What makes a person creative? How do you make yourself a creative person? Jay Walker answered these questions personally on the TED Talk in February of 2008.
To be creative, you must have a library in your imagination, and this library cannot be built without a passion for knowledge and the pursuit of problem-solving.
How do we create? "we create by surrounding our self with stimulating, human achievement, with history, with things, drive us and make us human, the passionate of discovery the bone of dinosaurs along gone, the map of space that we have experienced and ultimately the whole way that stimulates our mind and our imagination," Jay Walker said.
Walker began showing some information about ancient fossils and then travels to space in his talk about the Russian satellite Sputnik and the American flag's trip to the moon in Apollo11. Then he reviewed an old version of the old Bible and talked about its printing and why it was printed even though people at that time could not read.
When we invent and make something, we create it based on the image that we have in our minds. And this picture did not come from anything, but rather from the surrounding environment and the incentive that drives us to discover and solve problems.
Every invention saw the light because of the work of the human imagination that was able to create life on this earth. Likewise, we can be creative if we surround ourselves with history, space sciences, and earth sciences, or to sum up knowledge.
