HEY GUYS CANNOT BELIEVE I HAVE TO SAY THIS BUT DO NOT MAKE A C.AI BOT OF ME, LIKE LITERALLY ME ???????
Tumblr media
girl am i in the twilight zone right now. what is this.
hey guys so like fun fact in case you did not know i am a real human person. you can message me. my ask box has been open all like ten years i have been on this website. my messages have been open since they added that feature to tumblr. youre allowed to just talk to me. you do not have to make a fake, 2D version of me to roleplay talking to me
related, i am a real human person, and this is an incredibly weird and dehumanizing thing to do. i don’t know how to explain that any more clearly. i didn’t think i would need to? like. i’m not a creator playing an RP character. i am not fictional. i am literally just a guy on tumblr. this is really fucking a weird thing to do to me
also, i am very vocally anti generative ai and anti chatbot. this is not only incredibly dehumanizing, but incredibly violating of my principles as a writer and as a person. i have never been shy about this. i talk about it all the time. this is incredibly disrespectful
but just like. to reiterate. make sure this is fully and clearly stated, bc apparently it needs to be stated explicitly
1) do not make AI chatbots of me. i am a human being who is very easily accessible. you can just talk to me. my messages are open
2) do not make AI chat bots based on my writing or characters.
3) do not put any of my writing through any kind of generative ai. ever.

Hello! Someone genuinely trying to understand and perhaps unlearn some reactionary tendencies. With the response to that anon about "not asking if you're a pro or anti", the response about "imagine if they put this much effort into protecting real kids" definitely got me thinking. So... Is an adult shipping children and finding that hot NEVER a red flag? Or is it case by case on seeing how that person handles the distinction between fiction and reality in other things? And bringing the issue of real kids into it, if a real kid who has been abused sees someone shipping kids and finds that a red flag in that person, that... No, no I juicy answered my own question on that one. Block them and cultivate your own experience.
hi there anon, and congrats on trying to unlearn some things! and great job catching yourself at the end there, that's exactly correct.
I will start by saying this right out of the gate: fundamentally, I do not really give a shit about what made up scenarios about fictional characters people are jorking it to in private. I am, first and foremost, interested in how they are interacting with actual, real people.
"but Makenzie are you saying people who look at sexually explicit images of real human kids should be allowed near children?" no I'm not. please note that I was specifically talking about people engaging with fictional characters who are, you know, not real and do not have feelings and therefore cannot actually be hurt, traumatized, abused, etc, in any way that actually matters. I want to be so clear about this: you can genuinely think whatever vile things you want about fictional characters. you can enjoy any problematic shit you want with little guys who don't actually exist.
like, here's an example I use a lot: I'm kind of a huge Batman fan. don't know if you could tell that or not, I'm pretty subtle about it. if you spend any time in the Batman mythos, you know that this is a story where you just kind of have to take for granted that our hero is a billionaire using his vast wealth to dispatch vigilante justice with military grade weaponry and a small army of child soldiers and cop friends to help him put people in prison. these are moral quandaries that are discussed and acknowledged within the story, but fundamentally the universe is always going to involve billionaire vigilantism and child soldiers and the so-called carceral justice system. that's just the price of admission if you're gonna read Batman.
and like. I spend a lot of time in that world. I love Batman, I love his child soldiers. he's my little blorbo or whatever. but like, at no point have I said "yeah, fuck it, preteens should be learning martial arts to fight domestic terrorists, actually. I think Elon Musk SHOULD be allowed to put on a fursuit and beat up criminals. cops need more funding." no amount of Batman comics can make me believe or act on any of those things because, you know, I'm a person with a brain and I know the difference between "thing that makes a good story" and "thing that should actually happen for real."
and the thing is that genuinely, honestly, if someone thought that it was a red flag that I like Batman, and that enjoying Batman comics was somehow a red flag indicating that I'm fine with violence being done against real, actual children? I would think that person was a nut, if I can be super real. like, I'm thinking about somebody trying to make the case that I shouldn't be allowed to hang out with my nephew because I enjoy the fictional character of Robin so clearly I'm going to kill my nephew's parents in front of him to try to get him into vigilante justice. or if someone attempted to bar me from teaching my 4th-6th grade sex ed classes on the grounds that I was obviously going to teach them to do karate to clowns instead of how their reproductive systems worked.
(although, lets be real, there are a lot of politicians who would MUCH rather let little kids cage fight each other than learn anything about safer sex.)
this doesn't just apply to morally bad things, either, btw. I also read a lot of romance novels, especially hetero romances. and the thing is, not one of those books has made me want to fall in love with a ruggedly handsome but condescending straight man. hell, none of them have made me want to fall in love with anybody, period. that's not really something I'm interested in for myself, it's just a fun and frequently funny dynamic to explore. I'm hardly the first queer person to point out that the allegations that queer media "turns kids gay/trans" is obviously bullshit since the vertible mountain of cishet media evidently failed to turn any of us straight/cis, you know?
my point being: no, I genuinely don't think it's often, if ever, reasonable to judge someone's actual, real life morals by how they interact with fiction.
I'm going to say something so vulnerable right now, because we're in a safe space here: since you asked me this very reasonable question, you evidently value my judgment and perspective at least a little bit. and I once read and thoroughly enjoyed a fic in which Dr. Horrible, from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, gets fucked by a sapient evil horse. and I don't think that makes me a morally reprehensible person, or a person who advocates for real human beings having real sex with real horses. I think it just makes me kind of a weirdo with a bullshit tolerance.
if you want to hear a MUCH more thorough take on this, complete with addressing the issue of shipping fictional children, I cannot recommend Princess Weekes' video essay enough:

i find it very fun genuinely how every time you get into something and post it here you can always find yuri in it. beautiful honestly it proves yuri is everywhere for those with the eyes to see
i dont even try that hard LOL. it's funny cause i'm such a huge gay bitch myself but when it comes to fiction i am so open to like every possible kind of pairing. my current favorite final fantasy ship is straight, even. but like....... it just works out that i happen to like women a lot and i like when girls have great chemistry so thats kinda where i tend to lean by default when it comes to character appeal. i just pay a lot of attention to the girls and thus i spend a lot more time thinking about them.

welcome to broadway (one-shot)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: it's the anniversary of oklahoma! and with it being your first broadway show, hugh takes you under his wing to show you the ropes. along the way, you realize that you've developed feelings for him. pairing: hugh jackman x fem!reader word count: 5.4k warnings: dry humping, suggestive smut (sorry - didn't go explicit in this one!), light dirty talk (this also isn't proofread, so apologies for any typos!!!) a/n: to the anon and @sir-thisisadndserver who both requested a story about broadway, i hope you both enjoyed this!!! (ugh, i wish i could watch the music man in good quality bc he just looks so good in it. but also, hugh in oklahoma! has done things to me... my god, his voice, the curls, just everything.) i mean no disrespect to hugh jackman! this is purely fictional.
THE TABLE READ
You can’t believe it. Lead role of Oklahoma for their anniversary showing. Twenty five years later and while mostly everyone came back except the role of Laurey, you were the only odd one out. You knew what this play entailed, knew exactly how it would end. You also knew that you’d be playing alongside Hugh Jackman, who was reprising his role as Curly.
You’re excited, yet nervous. Hugh Jackman not only was an amazing movie and television actor, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t watch most (if not all) of his shows on Broadway. His sheer talent truly captivated, yet intimidated you. You don’t know how you will be able to act “normal” around him. He isn’t just talented, but he’s also incredibly attractive. Anyone with eyes would be able to see that.
You’re the first one seated at the table and notice Hugh is set to sit next to you. You keep your eyes focused on the pages in front of you, trying to calm your nerves and get yourself ready to be in character. You can hear people come in, excitement and laughter filtering the room. You take a deep breath and stand up to introduce yourself. You’re taken aback by how welcoming everyone is and it puts you at ease, your nerves slowly beginning to die down. Everyone’s excitement is infectious, making you feel immensely thankful to be part of this cast.
Your back is turned to the door, talking to one of the cast members that you don’t realize Hugh Jackman has finally arrived. He’s greeting everyone with a large grin and waves and you don’t notice. Not until you feel a soft touch in the middle of your back. Slowly, you turn around and look up, eyes slightly going wide as you stare up at him.
He’s staring down at you with such a large smile that it literally makes you feel weak in the knees. Yeah, you don’t know how you’re going to get through this play without fawning over him, especially since your character – Laurey – tries to hide her feelings for Curly for the majority of the play.
“Hello there,” he says softly, hand extending out for you to take. “I don’t think we’ve gotten the chance to meet yet. I’m Hugh.”
You bite your lower lip and extend your own hand, gently sliding it into his and shaking it slowly. “Hi,” you smile shyly and tell him your name. “It’s an honor to share the stage with you. I’ve been a huge fan.”
Hugh chuckles, his hand soft and light with yours. He releases your hand and keeps his eyes solely focused on you. “I’m a huge fan as well,” he admits. “I’m glad you get to be my Laurey.”
My Laurey. You feel your heart rate beat ten times faster, heat rising in your cheeks. “And you, my Curly.”
He lets out a quiet chuckle, hands moving to his pockets. Hugh finds your energy and presence very calming and despite this being your first ever time on Broadway, he has to commend you for being professional. Though, he can see the excitement that flickers in your eyes. He knows that look, has even donned that same look every time he got on stage. “So, I hear this is your first time?”
“On Broadway, yeah. Do I seem too nervous?” you laugh, biting your lower lip. “Because if I do, it’s because I am. I’m trying to keep it cool, but to be in a room with all of you? I just can’t believe it. I don’t want to mess up.”
Hugh’s eyes softened. “Eh, we’re just a group of people who love to perform, including you. We’re all gonna make mistakes along the way, even on opening night, but as long as you’re having fun, that’s all that matters.”
You’ve heard stories of Hugh – how he puts people at ease, looks out for everyone in the cast and crew, and right now, you’re experiencing it firsthand. You suddenly feel your nerves disappear under his gaze and for once since finding out that you’d be playing the lead role of Laurey, you feel immense excitement. You’ve never been one to be shy on stage, but knowing that you’d be the new person in this cast instilled anxiety in you. They’ve done this before. They’ve played these same roles. And ultimately, you didn’t want to disappoint any of them.
“Thank you,” you finally reply. “I didn’t realize I needed to hear that.”
“Well, if you never need more reassurance, I’m your man.” he winks.
The theater director calls everyone’s attention, making a short speech at how it’s great to be back and how amazing of a show you were all going to have. You look around the room, seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces before you finally look up at Hugh. You’re surprised because he’s already looking down at you, giving you a reassuring nod as you feel his hand brush against yours.
The subtle action grounds you, settles the nerves that begin to build in the pit of your stomach. You feel a sudden calmness wash over you as you take a deep breath, pulling your gaze away from him when you hear your name being called.
“And we have our Laurey,” your theater director says, everyone clapping and cheering for you. “Welcome,” he says with a grin. “We’re lucky to have you.”
You smile in his direction, nodding at everyone else in the room. “Glad to be part of this amazing cast,” you reply, everyone continuing to clap before it begins to slow down.
“And our Curly,” the theater director continues, nodding towards the man standing next to you. “We’re all so excited that you’re here to reprise your role. It’s gonna be a great show.”
Once the theater director finishes his speech, everyone in the room takes their respective seats. Hugh pulls out your chair for you and you smile up at him, sitting down as he pushes it in for you.
“Thank you,” you tell him.
“Anytime,” he winks.
Throughout the table read, you finally feel at ease, comfortable in your element as you change your accent to reflect your character’s. Hugh changes his own and how lucky of you to get a front seat of his skill and talent. He turns to you, saying his lines at the beginning of the play. “On'y she talked so mean to me a while back, Aunt Eller, I'm a good mind not to take her.”
He’s staring at you with a charming smile, leaning back against his seat with his eyes staring into yours.
You then say your line, rolling your eyes with your arms crossed over your chest. “Ain't said I was goin'!”
Hugh then says his line almost immediately, “Ain't ast you!”
There’s a silence that engulfs the entire room as you two stare at each other. He’s still staring at you with a big grin and you with a frown on your face and eyes narrowed. You’re surprised at how much chemistry you already have with him, how easy it is to slip into the role of Laurey and exchange lines with him without any issue.
As the table read continues, you can’t help but take notice of Hugh’s presence next to you. The scene where you kiss approaches and you know that it isn’t going to happen here, today, but to know that you will eventually have to kiss him makes you nervous, but also very excited.
By the time the table read ends, a few hours have passed and everyone claps. The theater director dismisses all of you, saying that rehearsals will begin next week. You begin to pack your things before you feel Hugh gently reach a hand out to rest over your forearm.
“You did great,” he says. “And to think you were nervous?”
“I was,” you laugh quietly. “But I guess you helped ease my nerves.”
“I did, huh?” he smiles proudly. “Well, I suppose I should say you’re welcome.”
You shake your head, standing up from the table and seeing him follow suit. “I was wondering–”
“Do you think we should–”
You both say simultaneously, both letting out a quiet laugh. “You first,” you tell him, gazing up at him.
Hugh smiles, bringing a hand to rub the back of his neck nervously. “Would you be okay with exchanging numbers? We can go over lines sometime when we’re not in rehearsal to get more practice in.”
You’re trying to contain your excitement, trying to remain calm and collected, so you give him a nod and then reach for your phone. “I was thinking the same thing. Here,” you hand him your phone and see him give you his. “Maybe we can meet up for coffee later this week?”
Hugh smiles, typing in his number into your phone. “That’d be great. I know a perfect place.”
You smile to yourself and type in your number before handing his phone back to him and taking your phone from him. “Perfect,” you respond, putting your phone back into your bag. “And if I get nervous at all–”
“Feel free to text me. Or call me.” Hugh finishes for you. “Like I said, I’m your man.”
“Thanks, Curly,” you grin, changing your accent to reflect Laurey. “That’s mighty kind’a you.”
Hugh chuckles, his eyes twinkling in the light as he smiles down at you. “Anythin’ for ya, Laurey.”
REHEARSALS
The rehearsals have become more frequent as the date of opening night looms closer. You and Hugh have spent so much time together outside of rehearsals, either you coming by to his place or him coming to yours. Your relationship with him has blossomed in the span of a few months, feeling much more comfortable and confident around him. The more time you spend with him, the more you find yourself catching feelings for him. You wonder if it’s because of the nature of the role you’re playing, being the love interest of his and the fact that you both have rehearsed the kiss and dances multiple times.
Though, you can’t help but notice the frequent texts and calls from him that have nothing to do with the play, or the way he lingers around you, some part of him always needing to touch you – on your lower back, between your shoulder blades, your hand. It all seems innocent enough, but with each touch, with each lingering gaze, you feel more and more attracted to the possibility that maybe the feelings are mutual.
Today, it’s only you and Hugh in rehearsals, practicing the dance in the dream sequence. You’ve both gone over the dance plenty of times today, both drenched in sweat. You take a short break, sitting down on the floor as your back rests against the wall. You take a long swig of water before Hugh takes a seat next to you, his side flush against yours.
“Hey you,” he says, smiling in your direction. “You really know how to push me,” Hugh chuckles. “And I thought I was the hardest worker. You definitely make me look like I’m not doing enough,” he teases.
You roll your eyes, gently nudging him with your shoulder. “Oh please, I’m only pushing you because you’re pushing me.”
“What do you say?” Hugh asks. “One more rehearsal and we call it a night? Grab a bite to eat at my place?”
“That sounds amazing,” you sigh in relief. “I’d have kept going if you hadn’t said anything.”
Hugh chuckles, moving an arm around your shoulders as you lean into him. “You know, you can tell me to slow down. I don’t want you to overwork yourself.”
“I know,” you reply. “I just wanna prove to you and everyone else that I’m meant to be here.”
Hugh tilts his head. “You are meant to be here. You’ve got a lot of talent,” he says your name, eyes gazing into yours. “And this is just the beginning for you.”
“Yeah, we’ll see after opening night,” you chuckle.
“Not only are you talented,” Hugh says. “But you also love being on stage. Everyone can see it, can feel it. The audience will too. Now, get off your ass and let’s finish this dance.” He smiles, standing up and reaching out for you.
You chuckle, taking his hands and standing up with his help. Your hands immediately dart out to rest on his shoulders, bodies flush against each other as your nose brushes against his.
“Thank you,” you whisper. “For always reassuring me. I’m sure it’s exhausting.”
Hugh’s eyes never leave yours as one hand moves to rest on your lower back and the other takes your hand in his. “Not exhausting at all, baby,” he replies, his breath fanning over your lips.
You clear your throat at the pet name, biting your lower lip as the music begins to play. You take a deep breath, trying to snap out of the trance that he put you in to focus on the dance sequence. Your gaze never leaves his as you both move across the dance floor. It was that specific moment where you were sure that he felt the same way.
After rehearsals, you drive to Hugh’s place and see him step out of his car with a box of pizza. He leads you inside and walks into the kitchen, sitting at the table. You walk over to him and sit next to him, inhaling the aroma of food once he opens the box.
“God, I feel like I can eat this whole thing,” you chuckle, taking a slice of pizza and lifting it to your lips. You’ve always felt comfortable around Hugh and you have to wonder if it’s because of him, how calm and grounded he makes you feel. You’re continuing to eat, eyes falling shut as you sway your body in the seat, just happy to be eating something.
Hugh watches you with a loving gaze, eyes scanning your face as he stares at you. He certainly didn’t expect you to come into his life the way you did. It’s no secret that he gets along with everyone and has chemistry with every leading lady in his roles, but you… You’re a completely different story. He finds your passion to perform refreshing and your talent invigorating. Not only are you professional, but he appreciates your ability to put your all into each performance, even though it’s only rehearsal. It gets him excited to know that come opening night, everyone will know just how talented you are.
He’s taken out of his thoughts when he sees you open your eyes, looking at him with a furrowed brow.
“What? Why are you staring at me like that?” you ask.
Hugh smiles, eyes lowering to your lips as he sees pizza sauce at the corner of your lips. He also loves the fact that you’re not shy around him. He reaches up and wipes the pizza sauce from your lips with the pad of your thumb, staring into your eyes. “You’re a messy eater when you’re hungry.”
The heat in your cheeks rises once again as you set the pizza slice down to grab a napkin, wiping your mouth. “You should have fed me during our break earlier.”
Hugh chuckles, nodding in agreement. “Fair enough.” He doesn’t break the gaze, bringing the pad of his thumb to his lips and licking the pizza sauce from it. He sees your eyes dip down to his lips, hearing you quietly clear your throat as you bite your lower lip.
“You’re cute, you know that?” Hugh blurts out, head tilting as he stares into your eyes.
You roll your eyes and gently reach out to shove his shoulder. “Yeah right.”
Hugh chuckles, leaning forward in your space. “You are,” he whispers. “And there’s just something about you. I can’t put my finger on it…”
“Hmm…” you say quietly, eyes continuously darting to his lips. “Hugh…”
“Yeah, baby?” he says lowly.
“Is this–” you whisper. “Is this appropriate?”
Hugh then leans back, shrugging a shoulder. “Probably not,” he admits. “But I can’t be the only one who feels something between us…”
You look up at him, wanting to reach out for him, to pull him back closer, but you don’t. You’ve wanted him for months now, wanted this moment to happen for so long, but you couldn’t. You just didn’t know how things would change if you were both to cross that boundary… Even though you’ve both probably crossed so many lines already.
“You aren’t,” you admit. “I want this just as badly as you, but–”
“Not yet,” he finishes for you. “After the play.”
You nod. “I just don’t know what’d happen if we do this while we’re still in production… I’ve waited for a few months, another few won’t hurt, right?”
Hugh bites his lower lip and shrugs. “Might hurt me,” he teases. “I mean, we’ve kissed already as Curly and Laurey. But I’d love to just kiss you as… As me.”
“A kiss wouldn’t hurt,” you say quietly, slowly leaning into him. “But that’s all we can do.”
Hugh nods and stands up from the chair to pull you up into him. The lights from the city reflect off his large windows as his hand rests on your lower back and the other on your cheek. Slowly, he leans in and brushes the tip of his nose against yours.
“If we do this,” he whispers lowly. “There’s no going back.”
“Fine with me,” you answer. “Now kiss me already.”
Hugh grins and then presses his lips against yours, fingertips resting on the back of your neck. You’ve both kissed so many times already, but this time feels so much more different. Your lips move against his own, hands moving to grip his arms. Hugh walks you back into his window, feeling the glass press against your back as his hand moves from your lower back to your hip. Your lips part for him and he slides his tongue past your lips, hearing you whimper as a result.
The kiss deepens as tongues get involved, lips moving with more urgency against one another. You’re about to bring your leg up to hook around his hip, but you stop yourself, moving your hands to his chest and slowly pulling him away. Breathless and panting.
Hugh rests his forehead against yours, eyes remaining shut. “I’d say that was a great real first kiss,” he laughs quietly.
“Waiting for a few more months might prove to be tough,” you admit, moving your hands into his hair and tangling your fingers into his locks.
Hugh chuckles and pecks your lips softly, pulling back to look down at you. “Maybe we don’t go the full distance… yet.”
“What do you have in mind?” you ask, biting your lower lip as you stare up at him with desire filled in your orbs.
“Come on.” Hugh takes your hand and leads you to his couch, sitting down against it and pulling you down onto him. You straddle his hips, clearing your throat as you feel his manhood press against your core. You wrap your arms loosely around his shoulders as his hands rest on your hips, leaning his head up slightly to capture your lips once more.
“This okay?” he mumbles against your lips.
“More than okay,” you answer, beginning to move your lips with his. Without hesitation, you roll your hips against his own. You’re wearing leggings and he’s wearing sweatpants and while the fabric isn’t as thick as jeans, it’s still too much clothing for you because you need to feel more. You need to feel all of him.
Hugh groans against your lips, feeling his manhood begin to stir awake at the friction. His hands slowly move upwards, underneath your shirt as his fingertips dig into the flesh of your skin. He leans up to gently bite at your lower lip, your moan escaping your lips.
You apply more pressure when your hips roll against his, his length hardening and straining against the fabric of his sweatpants. You feel a wetness pool between your legs, an anticipation settling into the pit of your stomach. You don’t know how you would wait another few months before fully feeling him inside of you since this sneak peek wasn’t helping. Instead, you’re yearning for more.
Hugh pulls away from the kiss only to place gentle kisses along your jawline, his hands continuing to move up your back, his fingertips brushing against your sports bra and back down to your lower back. The pressure in his pants tighten and he wants nothing more than to rip your leggings off your legs and slam into you, but he has to show some restraint.
You tilt your head slightly for him, exposing more of your neck as you feel his lips and his scruff brush against one of your many hot spots. You whimper, your hands gripping his shoulders.
“Hugh,” you moan quietly. When you feel his teeth graze your skin, you have to pull back to look down at him. Your chest is heaving and you’re almost breathless. “Mmm, if we don’t stop,” you whisper. “I won’t be able to control what will happen next.”
Hugh smirks, licking his lips slowly. “Okay,” he says. “Okay. Let me just…” Hugh gently sets you down next to him, readjusting himself in his sweatpants and the action doesn’t go unnoticed. You can see the obvious tent in his pants and his hand grasping himself to adjust his hardening length into a much more comfortable position. You can see the outline of his manhood, feeling your throat go dry at the sight. He’s long and thick and you have to peel your eyes away from him to avoid just settling yourself on your knees between his legs.
Hugh watches you, eyes taking in your frame from top to bottom. It doesn’t help lessen the pressure in his pants because it only just makes him harder. “I’m actually going to…” he begins, pointing down to the center of his sweatpants. “I’m gonna take care of this. Will you be okay for a bit?”
You clear your throat. The thought of being under the same roof as Hugh as he’s jerking himself off to the thought of you excites you. “Y— Yeah, I’ll be, um…” you bite your lower lip. “I’ll be here.”
Hugh nods and then leans over to kiss your cheek, lips brushing against your ear. “If I had it my way, you’d be the one helping me take care of this.”
You shiver against his words and look up at him. “And if I had it my way, I’d drop to my knees in front of you to take care of it.”
Hugh growls, the sight of you on your knees now fully ingrained in his mind. “Great,” he chuckles. “I’m gonna keep that in mind while I…” he points towards his lower half. “While I handle this.” Hugh then stands up from the couch and excuses himself to go to the bathroom, allowing you to lie down on the couch and letting out an exasperated sigh.
“It’s gonna be a long few months,” you mutter to yourself.
OPENING NIGHT
You feel the nerves begin to build as you’re all getting ready to perform for opening night. You and the rest of the cast and crew are all ready to perform, but you… You’re anxious. You’re nervous. You’re afraid that you’re going to mess up, so when Hugh rests a hand on your lower back, you look up at him with a tense look on your face.
“You’re gonna be okay, baby,” he whispers. “Just have fun.”
You nod, feeling his hand drop from your lower back and you reach for it, giving it a tight squeeze. “Okay,” you say. “Just have fun,” you repeat.
“Exactly. Let’s have a great show, yeah?” Hugh reassures. “And after this,” he whispers, lowering enough so that his lips hover against your ear. “We can finally go back to my place and take the next step.”
That makes you stand straighter. You had been so focused on making sure that your performance was perfect as opening night approaches that you and Hugh hadn’t had an intense, passion-filled night since the night you had your first kiss with him.
You feel the heat rise in your cheeks as he pulls away with a wink. “You know just the right things to say,” you chuckle.
Hugh grins. “I knew that’d get you excited.”
You feel your nerves begin to settle as the curtain begins to rise, knowing that Hugh’s character begins the play with a song Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin’.
Throughout the play, you feel at ease once you step on stage, easily slipping into character. The back and forth banter between your character and Hugh’s are filled with a hidden and unspoken passion that you have for each other. Despite the roles you’re both playing, you can feel the tension and excitement bubbling within you as the play continues.
Just another hour and then you and Hugh can finally have the moment you both were waiting for.
Your first time on Broadway proves to be more than what you expected and you love it. Being on stage, under the bright lights, with a cast and crew that has the same excitement and passion as you makes you aware of the fact that this is truly where you’re meant to be. You couldn’t believe that you had questioned yourself at the beginning of all of this.
After the scene where Laurey fires Jud, you know what’s coming. The kiss with Curly, followed by the marriage proposal. Once your lips touch Hugh’s, it’s filled with so much passion and relief. Part of you has to wonder if it’s because the characters, Curly and Laurey, finally admitting the love they have for each other, or if it’s because the end of the play is nearing.
And it isn’t until you pull away that you see a fleeting familiarity flicker in Hugh’s eyes, a grin lining his lips. Throughout the next scenes, you’re both side by side, basked in the joy of being newlyweds and you know there’s a scene where Hugh is shirtless with suspenders. You are both backstage, getting ready for the next scene as you see him flex his arms subconsciously.
You’ve seen him shirtless before, but right now, there’s something about the sight that makes an immediate wetness pool between your legs. When Hugh looks over at you, he gives you a wink, knowing exactly that you were just checking him out.
Throughout the rest of the play, as it nears the end, you can’t help the excitement that bubbles within you. It isn’t until the end of the play that Hugh’s touch becomes more urgent, like he’s just as ready to leave with you. Each person with a pivotal role is introduced at the end as they bow towards the audience.
However, it isn’t until your name is called that the entire audience’s cheers become much louder. You walk towards the edge of the stage and bow, smiling and waving as they give you a standing ovation. You look back at your cast, back at Hugh, who all are clapping for you.
It was a perfect night and you know it’s only beginning.
You and Hugh join the rest of the cast for a celebratory after party, having changed into much more comfortable clothing. You’re both at other ends of the room, but while you’re each in a conversation with someone else, your gaze is locked on one another.
It isn’t a secret that you’re attracted to each other, but tonight, it’s completely obvious. Hugh’s eyes move along your frame slowly and under his gaze – even from afar – it excites you. You look at the time, knowing that it’s already so late and you’re ready to leave. With Hugh.
You make your rounds, saying goodbye to everyone until you reach Hugh. He excuses himself from the person he was speaking to and meets you halfway, eyes filled with anticipation.
“I’m heading out,” you say softly.
“Meet at my place?” Hugh asks.
You bite your lower lip and nod. “I’ll see you there.”
Hugh then reaches out for his phone and sends you a text. You pull out your phone and see a four digit number, furrowing a brow in confusion. “What’s this?”
“The code to get into my place,” Hugh confirms. “If you get there before me, feel free to let yourself in.”
You smile to yourself and then reach up to wrap your arms around him in a hug. “It was a great night, Curly.”
Hugh’s arm tightens around your frame as he shuts his eyes, whispering into your ear. “And it’s only just starting, Laurey.” He pulls back and kisses your cheek, lingering for a moment before he pulls away completely. “I’ll see you in a bit, baby.”
You leave the party and make your way to your car, anticipation simmering in your depths. You drive to Hugh’s house, knowing that you’d get there before him. So, when you enter the four digit code the gave you, you see the gates open and you drive into his driveway, the garage opening up for you.
Just a few minutes after you park, Hugh pulls in behind you. You step out of your car and look over at him, seeing him turn off the headlights once he puts his car in park. He climbs out and strides over to you, arms wrapping around your waist immediately. Without allowing you to speak, he dips down and presses his lips against yours, moving them eagerly against yours.
“Mmm,” you whimper, feeling his hand move to your backside as he gently squeezes it into his hand.
“Let’s go inside,” he mumbles, pulling back to look down at you. “I’ve been waiting for months for this,” Hugh chuckles.
You nod and take his hand, following him inside his home. You don’t get far because you lead him to his living room where you push him back onto his couch and you straddle his hips like the first night you shared your first real kiss with him.
He doesn’t waste any time in removing your shirt though, growling at the sight of you completely exposed for him, having decided on not wearing a bra. Hugh feels drunk off of you, his mind swirling with the immense thoughts and ideas of what he wants to do to you tonight. He knows he won’t get a chance to do them all in one night, but he just isn’t sure what to do first. He wants to taste you, wants to be head first between your legs. But he also wants to feel your walls wrapped around him, milking him to his own release.
But your moans… your moans pull him out of his thoughts and he’s suddenly very aware of the look on your face. The heat in your cheeks. Your parted lips. Your breaths coming in short pants. You want this just as bad as he does and it only excites him further.
“You did amazing tonight, baby,” Hugh says softly, hands coming up to brush against you.
You whimper, looking deeply into his eyes. “Thank you,” you say quietly, eyes fluttering as his thumbs brush against your peaks. “Hugh…” you moan quietly.
“I know, baby. I know… Let me take care of you.”
Throughout that night, you barely got any sleep, but when you did, you were completely spent. Hugh had helped you reach your climax more times than you can count and that had never happened before. He was so generous, so considerate, but it was only because he yearned for the sounds that escaped your lips. Loved to see you squirm against his touch, enjoyed the sight of your eyes fluttering when he finally entered you.
Hugh knew he wanted more. Needed more. He felt like a possessed man once he finally got that first taste of you. You unleashed something almost animalistic in him – the desire to see you come undone. The first time it happened that night, Hugh was in absolute awe. The way you arched your back, lips apart, body squirming against his mattress and a loud moan escaping your lips… it made Hugh want more of that. Want more of you.
And he was certainly going to get it, that he was sure of.

Wait, if Hera hated nymphs, does that mean she had beef with Poseidon's wife???
Who knows, but it does shed a whole new light on this scene from Episode 1:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like, in the context of the scene, it's clear the point of this interaction is to highlight how "lonely" Hades is that he's the only one at the party without a date. Though I do think it's funny that Hades is frustrated / shocked at the revelation that Poseidon brought his wife to a party that she would presumably be invited to attend, like... of course Poseidon is here with his wife, that makes Amphitrite royalty by extension and so at the very least she'd likely be obligated to attend even if she, for some reason, didn't want to go.
So Hades being like "GOD you mean I'm the ONLY UNMARRIED GUY without a DATE???" like yeah man that's what it means to not be married LOL
Tumblr media
But in hindsight, knowing what we know now about Hera being cruel to satyrs and nymphs who are canonically lower class (making it a double whammy of racism AND classism) that interaction of Hades asking Hera if Poseidon brought Amphitrite right after Hera called Minthe "nymph trash" almost feels like Hades calling her out, to which she responds sheepishly, "... Yes."
Again, I know that's not the intention of this scene, but it does come with deeper implications now that the series is over and we know that Hera has a history of racism and classism which largely goes unaddressed.
And those implications kind of read like this:
Hera: "I, for one, am grateful! I don't have to spend the evening with that nymph trash :)"
Hades: "Did Poseidon bring his (oceanid) wife?"
Hera: "(・_・;)... yes, okay, Poseidon brought his wife, Amphritite, but she's not nymph trash or anything, she's one of the good ones!"
Again though, just food for thought that's kinda messed up and kinda funny to think about on re-reads. There's so much classism and racism baked into LO even from the very beginning and it's wild that it wound up going unnoticed for years. Even I didn't really notice it as much as I ought to have when I first started reading. To anyone who's new to the series, LO does a good job at bombarding you with colors, characters, Greek myth references, and feel good fluff moments between H x P to distract you from the often biased and outdated viewpoints in its narrative.
TBH, none of that is to say that Rachel herself is some massive racist for writing a story like this, but I do think she didn't really spend enough time analyzing the works that clearly inspired her and/or challenging her own inspirations to ensure she wasn't continuing the cycle of casual racism. It's really easy to be blissfully aware of your own biases if you never learn to address them, especially when it comes to writing fantasy stories which we tend to "disconnect" from real life, never once realizing that the messages and undertones we might accidentally be sending are often still realities for many people in real life today. Fiction isn't real life, sure, but it can still perpetuate some really dog shit thought patterns and subconscious beliefs if left unchecked, which LO is frankly full of especially upon re-reads with a more critical eye when you're not as likely to get distracted or swept away by the pretty colors and whirlwind romance.

something i've been thinking about for the last few... forever.
shout out to the people who identify so strongly with, and/or find the most comfort in, the worst character(s) of any media that you're into. some of us find connection and similarities with the most terrible figures that canon has to offer. often, you're expected to identify most strongly with the good guy, or aspire to be like them (and not to say you don't, because i do sometimes). but that often doesn't happen for me, and i see more of myself in the evil impacting them.
not because i think i'm a bad person, and not because i aspire to be a flamboyant supervillain, but i often understand their feelings, their mindset, i understand how they got there, because i often went through a lot of the same things they did, even if only emotionally. it often goes beyond sheer appreciation for me (though i often find them more interesting from a narrative sense). and if i were in their world, i might become like them if things were even slightly different. if i didn't try to unlearn the fact that destruction is the only way to get what you want. catharsis is a powerful motivator.
i think it's important to embrace the "they're just like me" perspective when it comes to characters who aren't always "morally sound," and i do unequivocally include the "unsympathetic" ones. we're always going to find fictional characters we admire so long as art keeps being made, and sometimes admiration moves into "i identify with this character because of our background/personality/etc.", and sometimes these characters are the ones you're supposed to hate and root against... intentionally or not, many antagonists are very relatable (though often in unspoken ways).
none of this is to say that your taste in favorite characters means anything about you as a person, because it doesn't. how you treat others says all it needs to say about you as a person. i've seen this first-hand: people being surprised that i am friendly and compassionate (i try my best!) simply because i have a deep love for fictional guys who commit atrocities. yes, my worldly experiences, and the way i view them, as well as my fantastic taste draws me to fictional bad guys, but at the end of the day, i strive to be the best i can be every day. i aim to exude the kindness that i didn't always get when i practically begged for it. on the other hand, you could like the most sugary sweet, do-good fictional characters ever created (and good for you! no shame here!) and still be a nightmare to those around you.
i don't like the idea that you CANNOT like these characters, or identify with them, without condoning some sort of evil or being a bad person. they are people (or robots, or monsters, or whatever they are) who did bad things, whatever their reasons -- here's no inherence about it, and i think that belief has helped me in trying to understand them. i try to practice this with everyone i encounter. and along the way, i actually find that we aren't so different

I accidentally killed my own desire to write, and I need some advice. To be really blunt about it, what's the point of writing? When I would spend lots of time laboring over making a good story with a plot and characters who were in-character and connecting all the dots narratively so payoffs were satisfying, my reward was dead silence and virtually no clicks. I posted some mindless smut to my side account one day and got more hits in a day than most of my other works combined got in a year. I know, I know. "Write for ~*~yourself~*~" is the common response. It's the "be yourself!" of writing. It's supposed to be a magical phrase that'll make everything okay. But... I don't like knowing that something I spend months working on won't be read by anyone while something I write in a car while bored got thousands of clicks. I don't like making something I'm proud of and then no one ever looks at it. That's not fun for me. It's not fulfilling.
For a solid decade, I've tried to ignore how the level of interactivity in fandom is falling. Fewer comments. Fewer kudos. No comments in the bookmarks. You put your tumblr and Discord in the AN and get a handful of asks and one person who adds you, talks to you twice and then ghosts you. Most of the comments are "well, actuallys", made even more annoying by them being wrong as opposed to actually correcting an error. I avoid fandom drama, wank, and infighting. I don't engage with things I know will make me unhappy. I try to be happy over in my own little corner. I comment on every single work I read. I want people to enjoy fandom. I used to.
Some dumb smut I wrote in 40 minutes gets five times the hits of the writing I'm most proud of, and it gets it in just under three months. I am not a great smut writer. I haven't stumbled onto an incredible talent I had that makes it so the issue is that I'm so amazing my smut brings all the boys to the yard. People just don't like what I write and put effort into. It's very likely that despite 20 years of writing fic, I suck at writing. And people enjoy my writing most when they don't have to put up with anything substantial and can just skip to the sex.
So for the last eight months, when I write, I just sort of give up. Close the Word doc without saving. No one will read this. No one cares about this. There is no fan eagerly awaiting every update like I await updates from my favorite authors. There's not even someone saying, "update soon!" Close the Word doc. Delete old WIPs. There's no point. I do not tell stories worth reading. I used to. In the FFN days people genuinely enjoyed my work. I'd never have had an opportunity to do the 'I won't update until I get 3 reviews' thing because getting that many on a chapter was usually something I'd do overnight. Post before bed. Wake up. Read the reviews before school. I peaked in high school, I guess.
And now I'm just sort of lost. I still have lots of ideas. Ideas for fics fall into my head all the time. That's never been a problem. What I don't have is any motivation to write them. What's the point of writing? If no one else is reading, I guess the point would be so I could go back and read my own story and have fun with it. Write for myself. But I can review the story and have fun with it in my head without writing it down. It's substantially faster and more importantly, isn't incredibly depressing.
So, at the risk of definitely being calld the second-coming of True Art Anon or a troll or validation-seeking or haha mentally ill haha... what's the point of writing?
--
Okay, so write porn in a car while you're bored.
Look, you can whine all you want about my response, but what you've written here is blatantly about depression.
Lots of people in fandom are still interacting. And no, it isn't just on fics that are objectively written to some pro fiction standard or whatever. Teenagers still breathlessly review poorly spelled cracky masterpieces about this year's big anime and so forth.
Yes, there may be reasons why you in particular are in a slump when it comes to fandom friendships or "plz update" comments. We can talk about that. But this ask is all gloom about fandom in general. That's not realism: that's you having a problem.
--
As for why a person should write: because the actual hours you spend doing the writing are fun.
If they aren't pleasurable in some way, find another hobby.
--
But if you want an answer to the age old "Why did my 5 minute fic get 1000000x more asspats", I've seen meta about this for literally decades.
The most likely reason is that the fic we write quickly and without much thought often feels fresher and more fun. The things we labor over endlessly can feel overworked. Even in cases where they don't, they're often heavier subject matter or more niche subject matter. On top of all that, we just care more, so even a high level of feedback doesn't really feel like enough for the effort and care we put in.
--
Do you really need me to tell you why you don't feel the same as in high school when things were fresh and new?
Go read up on combatting burnout or dealing with post-college anxiety or managing stress in a dead-end job in your 30s or finding meaning in your 40s or whatever is going on.
Everyone goes through fallow periods in fandom and in life.
Feeling reinvigorated has to do with internal factors and some general life circumstance stuff. It doesn't have that much to do with number of kudos. That's just the surface trigger for a mood that was already there.

It will constantly remain surreal how people can say "talk about this character with more nuance" and you do that with what is provided by text. But what they really mean is "I want to force another to see this character as I do despite what is contrarian to the narrative ".
And this is only an issue that arises despite being able to curate what you don't want to see if that offends whatever sensibility you have parasocially developed regarding an antagonistic character. Who on page is not spoken of well, is not shown themselves as to be of better intention or exhibit kindness. While the text continues to provide negative and violent scenes for a general audience to understand you are not supposed to sympathize much with this character any longer. And this makes YOU need to come up with completely supplementary reasons outside of the author and text, as to why an antagonistic character is sympathetic, likable, misunderstood.
When ironically the main character of the plot was faced with this slandering instead, including slandered by the one you are trying to call nuance for. You not liking how that nuance comes in the form of negativity produced intentionally by the plot for him, doesn't mean others are somehow being maliciously obtuse for not wanting to engage or accept a completely fabricated excuse you made up, not the work.
I do not give a shit what sad backstory you yourself try to add to the table, because I am not talking about you. I am talking about words on a page. As soon as you even try to use whatever apparent worldly knowledge you have that I don't, that has nothing to do with the discussion of text and story plot, I have no reason to engage patiently. Especially when said personal knowledge is being used to try to downplay the active criticism of abuse the novel thematically uses in portraying its inner character relationships. Not you, so any time you try to say you have some deep cultural insight or personal insight as to why I am wrong with how I choose to analyze said work, I do not care when it is to the opposite effect the work has built up for.
And the moment you downplay how that abuse is portrayed as, by making fun of it or making excuses as to that's just how xyz culture familial units are, why should I have respect for you, if this is how you speak of it when it is in the context of fictional characters? This is not a failing upon the author when they were very upfront with this theme and it's criticism, but a failing on you to disengage and further derailing for your own validations and attention between a group you have bubbled yourself in with no actual nuance.

in general if your response to a certain type of character, especially any form of minority, is literally any variation whatsoever of "that doesn't exist/wouldn't be allowed in this setting" you're being a bigoted piece of shit. just to be super clear. and because my adderall is in full effect rn i will even do you the favor of going over some reasons why your reasoning is not only flawed and inaccurate to begin with, but extremely harmful to entire groups of people you claim to care about.
"that doesn't exist" first of all, who fucking cares if a piece of media has never depicted a lesbian or a nonbinary person or a black person in xyz region/world? just because the creators didn't do it doesn't make it Canonical Law. also, regardless of how fantastical and fictional a setting is, its audience will ALWAYS be from planet earth where lesbians and nonbinary people and black people exist, and those people's feelings and their deservingness to see and put themselves in their favorite stories IS, in fact, more important than some white-ass cishet make believe world.
"it wouldn't be allowed" subtler issue, but an issue nonetheless. just because the setting is hostile TO certain groups of people does not mean those people do not exist there. ask yourself, what is so important to you about certain kinds of people either not existing period, or having to be miserable (closet themselves, conceal certain features, etc), in a given setting. why is that so important to you. why do you think these people can only exist if they hate themselves and/or live their lives suffocated by the world around them. why is it so "lore incompliant" or "immersion breaking" to you. why are you so concerned with upholding real or perceived prejudices in a fictional society if you claim to care about the real people who these prejudices affect. "realism"? see point one.
NONE of the reasons you make up to justify your reinforcement of real world bigotry in a pretend world are even reasons that would ACTUALLY bar xyz group of people from existing in said world. ishgard only shut its gates to the rest of the world for 15 years before ARR. old sharlayan accepted people from tural into its closed society. the ancients could literally conjure up whatever the fuck they wanted inside and outside their bodies. fantasias are a canonical item in the game, as per the quest that literally talks about them and then gives you one. there are HUNDREDS of perfectly lore compliant ways any given type of person could be in any given setting. but more importantly, people shouldn't need to justify why things like sexuality or skin color CAN exist in a given setting, because if you're not harboring some very bigoted ideas about how minorities are allowed to or "supposed" to exist, you don't fucking care about shit like this. it's stupid, inaccurate, and most of all, just plain cruel to the very real people behind these characters.
racism, transphobia, etc already exist in staggering abundance in the real world; you do not need to enforce that cruelty in a random fucking video game unless you have some very fucked up feelings about those groups of people festering in your brain. if you're not a member of those groups, shame on you, do better to support your fellow human beings. if you ARE a member of those groups, i am so fucking sorry the world has rotted your sense of self so deeply as to make you believe you can only exist in misery. i really, sincerely hope you're able to work through that and know that your existence is an inherently joyful, beautiful thing, and people like you deserve to get to exist peacefully, everywhere in the real world and in any and all fictional settings. i know finding worth in ourselves is too often an extremely difficult process, so i ask instead that you start with others like you. be kind to them, support them, find things about them that you admire, and try to see yourself in them. you deserve to get to heal from the insidious, evil things this world has poisoned your heart with.

It’s Never Silent in the Nursery
This story is fictional and meant for mature audiences only. All characters are 18+.
CW: ABDL, DDL, Impact Play, Diapers, Wetting, Little POV
It’s Never Silent in the Nursery
I whimper as I hear Daddy come up behind me while I’m standing in the corner.  I hear him sigh with disappointment and the clink and rustle of his belt coming undone.
  “I’m sorry Daddy…”
“Hush,” Daddy says sternly.  He gently grabs my arm and leads me to the bed, bending me over at the waist and pushing my face into the blankets.  He maneuvers my arms into position, with my hands resting on the small of my back.  “Keep them there, I don’t want to hit your fingers by accident.”
I nod as I turn my head to lay on my cheek, just in time to see Daddy lay his belt down next to me.  I feel his hands around my waist, gently tugging my jeans down.
  “Step out.”
I obey.  I feel Daddy’s hands at my waist again, this time wedging my pullup in between my buttcheeks, exposing as much flesh as possible.  His hands return to mine as he ensures my arms haven’t moved.  He leans forward and kisses the top of my head.
“You know the drill, 20 spanks, then a break…Ok?” His hands move up to my back as he rubs my back soothingly.  “If you have a good enough apology, we end there… if not, 20 more.”
I nod and immediately tense up as I hear him stand. The floorboards creak and his hand appears in front of me, grabbing the belt and holding it out for me.
“Kiss for comfort?” He asks.  I can almost hear the smile on his face as I pucker my lips and press them against the belt.  The smell of leather embeds itself in my mind, making me recall all the previous times I disappointed him.
I am quickly dragged back to the present moment as I feel Daddy gently caress my thigh, right before hearing him wind up, the whistle of the belt, and the loud SMACK that precedes the jolt of pain and the recoil throughout my body.
I respond immediately, burying my face into the blankets on the bed, and whimpering intensely into them.
“Let’s work on your counting Babykins.  Can you count for me?” Daddy says from behind me.
“One” I say my voice still muffled by the blankets
  “I need to hear you.”
I bring my head up to repeat myself, only for Daddy to take the opportunity to hear me cry out unmuffled.  I hear the belt whistle through the air again and make contact.  My reaction is uncontrollable.  I cry out “Aughhh! OWIE,” almost against my will.
I hear Daddy stifle a laugh, my childlike reaction causing him to briefly break the intensity of the scene.  Quickly recovering he asks me again, “How many was that?”
“Two” I say returning my head to its normal position with my face buried back in the blankets.
The rest of the spanks carried on without much fanfare, with us carrying out our normal routine.  Halfway through Daddy gently takes my hand and I squeeze it, letting him know I am ok to continue.  With five to go Daddy slows down, giving me more time to recover.  The last two Daddy tells me to start thinking about my apology.
Then the last one.  Daddy loves taking his time on this one, letting me simmer with the stings of all the previous spanks still fresh on my mind.  With my head still buried in the blankets I do my best to try and deduce what he is planning next.
I hear him take a step forward and place his hand on the bed next to me.  I feel his lips on the back of my head as he kisses me, then stands up.  “Sit tight for me.  I’ll be back in a bit”
I hear Daddy’s footsteps go towards the door, then the sound of the door closing and the latch securing, locking me in.  For the first time since we started I relax.  I move my arms up to the bed next to me and unclench muscles that I didn’t realize were clenched.
I know better than to move from my position, but my curious mind was getting the better of me.  I tilt my head sideways again to see the belt laying next to me again.  I do my best to look around some more without moving that much, keeping my head down and my rear sticking out as instructed.  Unfortunately there was nothing within my eyeline to entertain me, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I hear Daddy moving around in the other room, the clinking of a glass, then footsteps, then… silence.
I strain my ears, eager to hear something else, some sort of indication of his presence… his return… but there is nothing.
It’s never silent in the Nursery.
I shudder as it hits me how quiet it actually is.  It’s never like this.  This space is usually brimming with the clink of my toys, gently droning of my cartoons, my giggles and Daddy’s reassurances.  But now simply lies enveloped in silence… and it’s incredibly overwhelming.
I shift my footing uncomfortably. The floor creaks under the change in pressure, the sound echoing like a gunshot, endlessly through the room.  Slowly I feel the tension in my ears growing.  I am longing to hear something…anything from the other room.  Any sign that my Daddy is returning, is present…is at least thinking of me?
  Nothing…Until…
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
What is that? I think to myself as I strain my ears to hear again.
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
The clock! I think to myself.  I can count the ticks!
I start counting, excited to have something to do.
121…122…123… That got boring fast. I return back to looking around trying to find something to capture my attention.  Boredom setting in fast the pressure of the silence grows in my ears again.
And now there was another pressure starting to grow…
See, I had been out the night before, something that doesn’t happen often without Daddy because my shy little self usually can’t be dragged out of the house. But I had the chance to reconnect with some old friends, so I decided to go for it.
Unfortunately, I ended up being out way past my curfew, which normally, that wouldn’t be a problem if I’d just let Daddy know.  Instead, I made the brilliant decision to turn off my phone, not wanting to spoil the fun for myself and my friends.
Three hours after my curfew, I stumbled home half-drunk, only to find Daddy waiting for me… and he was not pleased.  He cleaned me up, stripped me of my going-out outfit, and locked me in my room with Advil, a large water bottle, and a pullup “Just in case.”
Tick…Tick…Tick…
I eagerly listen for any sign of movement in the other room…but again…nothing
I start shifting around uncomfortably, hoping Daddy would come back soon and tell me what to do.  I whimper as even my movements weren’t helping the pressure on my bladder.
I start to panic some more, the growing urge to go setting off alarm bells in my head..
“…Daddy?” I whisper into the silence.
I hear a *whirr* behind me. The Nanny Cam! I hear a *click* as it locks into position
“Yes?” I hear Daddy’s voice, mechanized by the nanny cams speaker.
“I…Uh…Hafta pee Daddy!” I say hopefully.
I hear the camera whirr and click again, then silence.
  “Daddy…?”
Nothing.  No movement, no footsteps, nothing.
It’s never silent in the nursery.
I whimper again, almost as if to provide myself with some comfort from the silence as it sets back in.
Still in the agonizing position daddy put me in, I start gently releasing my pee into the pullup, hoping it won’t overflow.
The gentle hissing noise slowly fills the room, pushing away the silence slightly.
  Tick…Hiss…Tick…Hiss…Tick…Hiss
My confidence grows as time goes on, but eventually my control gives way, the full contents of my bladder flowing torrentially into my pullup…down my leg…onto the floor.
  Hissssssssssss….drip…drip…drip
Eventually, what feels like after an eternity, the stream of water down my leg slows to a as the last of the pee drips from my leg.
The silence returns, accented by the tick of the clock and the drips of my pee.
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
  “Daddy?” I whisper again anxiously.
  Whirrrrrrr…Click…
“…Yes?” The mechanized voice says again.
  “I…uh…had an accident”
A sigh comes through the speaker.
  “And..?” The voice says
“andddddd…Uhh…I love you Daddy!” I whisper, not sure what else to say.
  More silence follows.
“And…I’m sorry I stayed out too late…and didn’t check in with you…and for turning off my phone so you couldn’t track me…and for calling an uber instead of you to pick me up…and for drinking too much with my friends..and for being bratty when I got back…and for telling you you are a horrible daddy…and…and…and…” I babble on and on until I hear the click of the door open behind me.
I quickly straighten up, moving my arms back, head forward, and sticking my rear end out again.
I hear Daddy slowly walk over to me and feel the bed dip down.  I turn my head to see him sitting next to me.  He puts his hand on my cheek.
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
“It’s ok Babykins,” He whispers, comforting me “I know you weren’t thinking straight last night.”
I start to stand up straight only for him to put his hand on my back to keep me pinned down.
“No no no,” Daddy murmurs quietly.  “You still have at least one more spank little one.  And I don’t want you spreading your mess all over the place”
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
I look anxiously at him as he gets back up, He lowers the belt to my lips once more.
  “Kiss for comfort?”
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
I pucker my lips again and brace for the last hit, knowing Daddy won’t hold back with this being the final one.
“Ok Daddy, I’m ready,” I whisper quietly
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
Daddy repositions himself behind me and gently grazes my thighs with the belt, before bringing the belt down a final time.
  Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip… SMACK.
The sound fills the room, breaking the silent tension that had been building since he left.  My cry echos in response, because as predicted, he did not hold back.
  @#$%!…Mmph…Nnh…Tick drip…Tick drip…Tick drip…
“…20” I whimper out painfully, my pain muffled by the blankets.
The simmering of my rear end had left me very sensitive, with the welts and bruises forming from the previous nineteen spanks making everything nice and tender. Immediately feel Daddy’s hand is back in mine, squeezing it, making sure I’m ok.  I squeeze back.
“Ok Babykins that’s it,” Daddy says soothingly,” I think you learned your lesson,” He places his belt down next to me and gently removes my arms from my back while helping me stand up straight.  “Stay here, I’ll go get the towels,”  he says, leaving the room to gather the necessary supplies.
Alone again, but this time, the atmosphere had changed.  I look down at the puddle I made, seeing how far it had spread across the floor.
My eyes then make contact with the mirror.  I turn my rear end towards it trying to see the extent of the damage.  I let out a slight grin as I see the welts and bruises starting to form.  As much as the spankings hurt, I do like how well they show up on my skin.
My eyes then move over to my desk, where my new lego set lays half built, having been interrupted by my antics the night before.
My eyes then move to the doorway, left open by Daddy.  I see him closing the hall closet, with a towel thrown over his shoulder, my favorite stuffie tucked under his arm, and a cup of hot chocolate in his hand.  A warmth spreads through my chest as I know that Daddy was thinking about how to comfort me, even as he was punishing me.
Daddy comes back in and sees me smiling.  He looks curiously at me.
“What’s up Babykins?” He says, setting down the cup of hot chocolate on the table and handing my stuffie to me.
“Nothing.  Just thinking about how lucky I am to have a Daddy like you.” I say sweetly, beaming up at him, eagerly grabbing my stuffie and pulling it close to my chest.
“Awww,” he smiles back, kissing me on the cheek in response. He gently tears my soggy pullup and starts to clean me up.
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
Daddy grabs a fresh pullup from my closet and sits down on the bed, holding it open for me.  “Step in,” He says, his eyes warmly meeting mine.
I meet his gaze, I lift my foot and step in, letting him raise the pull up into position.  I can’t help but smile a little more as he helps adjust it around my waist.
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
I playfully run around the room, testing the fit, causing Daddy to chuckle.  “I think this might be some of your best work yet Daddy” I say, running back to show him the marks.
“Oh yeah?” He says spinning me around for a better look. “Hmmm you might be right.  This one will bruise nicely” He says pressing down on it with his thumb.
“Hey hey hey!” I say wiggling away from him. “Stop it!”
“Nuh-uh.  Come here.” He says grabbing my arm as I try to escape.  He pulls me onto the bed with him.  I happily settle next to him, resting my head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence surrounding me.
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
“…did you really say owie?  Like was that on purpose or a reflex?”
I blush and nod, my head still resting on his shoulder. “…I’ll leave it up to your imagination…”
He chuckles again, putting his arm around me and resting his head on mine.
  Tick…Tick…Tick…
“…I actually am sorry.  It was stupid for me not to text you back.  I can understand how worried you were.” I whisper quietly after a bit.
Daddy says nothing at first, but pulls me further onto the bed so we are both comfortably laying down, my head resting on his chest, his arms tightly around me.
“I know sweetie,” He says, “Just tell me next time, ok?  I just want to know you are safe.”
I nod, wrapping my arms around my stuffie, holding him the same way Daddy holds me.
  Tick…Pum-pum…Tick…Pum-pum…Tick…Pum-pum…
Daddy’s heartbeat rhythmically playing with the tick of the clock.  The gentle rise of his chest comforting me as I feel his breath against my head, hear it run through my hair, brush past my ear.
  Tick…Pum-pum-woosh…Tick…Pum-pum-woosh…Pum-pum-woosh…Pum-pum-woosh…
I close my eyes, embracing my tiredness leftover from the night before.  I slowly feel myself drifting off to sleep.
  Pum-pum-woosh…Pum-pum-woosh…Pum-pum-woosh…Pum-pum-woosh…
It’s never silent in the Nursery when Daddy’s around.

Guess what game I just finished!!!
Tumblr media
I dont have a lot to say on this because I think over the past 20 years people have already said enough.
But... MY GOD! The level of variety, creativity, and fresh ideas each chapter brings holy SHITTTT!!! One moment you're going underground with a cute goomba girl, then you're fighting a dragon, then you're playing a World 1-1 recreation with BOWSER! Then you're playing as Peach who has this deeply emotional and sad relationship with an AI (Tec is the goat, I love that ai. Top 10 ai in fiction idc), then you're doing a tournament arc AND THEN YOU'RE DOING A TRAIN MYSTERY OH MY GOODNESS!!!!
The combat is really fun and charming, THE DIALOGUE IS SO WELL WRITTEN AND I LAUGHED MULTIPLEEEEE TIMES!!! I love the characters, I love the world, I love the art style, i love most of the boss fights, the music is banging (I played with the original ost), God there's so much to love.
I will say, the final chapter of this game did kinda drag on, and there's so many points where I was thinking "okay NOW I get to fight the final boss!" And it takes another hour to get to them.... there's so many obvious signs of padding (copy and pasted hallways, a trash "pick the right door" puzzle, etc.)
I also didn't like how when you swapped partners that counts as a turn, i feel like you should be able to swap without wasting a turn because it would help with the flow of combat and make using Goombella's tattle less of a fucking pain...
Also....
VIVIAN IS SO FUCKING CUTE!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! SHE'S MY FAVOURITE PARTNER BY FARRRRR!!!!! Goombella is really cute too and she has amazing dialogue. I love the storyline of Admiral Bobbery too and that stuff made me cry... but...EEEEE I LOVE VIVIAN!!!!
Tumblr media
GOD I JUST WANNA HUG HER!!! I WANNA PINCH HER CHUBBY CHEEKS!!! I WANNA RUB HER BELLY!!!! Nintendo I need a plushie of her yesterday. Come on. Please... I need one...
I shall leave my partner rankings as well, i wonder if I got any hot takes or not...
6. Flurrie.
No. Just... no I don't like her. Her design creeps me out, I don't give a shit about her moves. I never used her. Get her away from me.
Tumblr media
5. Goombella.
Although very cute I found her more of a hindrance and i kept going, "ugh I gotta swap to her to get the tattle..." At least her design and personality are cute. Plus, she's more useful than that creepy ass Flurrie....
Tumblr media
4. Koops.
I like him! He helped me out a LOTTT in the final battle, his later moves that you can unlock make him pretty damn good. Although I am jealous that this wimp has a girlfriend....
Tumblr media
3. Admiral Bobbey.
Honestly I think the reason why he might be this high is because of his story. I really felt bad for him... his design is also killer, I LOVEEEE Bob-ombs so much!
Tumblr media
2. Mini-Yoshi.
The fact that you can name him is really funny to me idk why. He's got some very helpful moves and his ability to help you move faster in the overworld is really nice. I like how he calls you Gonzalez too. What a fun character man.
Tumblr media
1. Vivian.
I already said why I like her earlier but I'll go on further.
I LOVE HER STORYLINE TOO!!! I LOVE HER DESIGN!!! I LOVE HOW SHE'S TRANS AND THE REMAKE DIDN'T GET RID OF IT LIKE HOW THE ORIGINAL NORTH AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN RELEASES OF THE GAMECUBE VERSION GOT RID OF IT!!!
God.... I love her. I wanna kiss her on the cheek. She's so cute. Her moveset too is fire!.... wait..
Tumblr media
Also btw I didn't know that this RATTTT was an optional party member... oops...

Chp 160 was so??????? that I am straight up unable to form an opinion on it.
Like I can see the story going one of two ways. 'Kamiki is the evil mastermind actually he faked his reaction to the dvd' or 'Kamiki is playing the villian but is actually not the culprit'
And like both directions have massive problems.
The former would mean that the movie (which we spent nearly 40 chapters on) amounted to fucking nothing. Other characters ominous talking about Aqua trying to kill his father with it? Ruby's so called revenge arc? Nah, that meant nothing, the movie didn't do a damn thing.
And while I prefer the latter interpretation as it's the tonally and thematically consistent way, it would also mean that Akasaka has been circle-jerking us with the 'Kamiki is an evil serial killer.' -> 'No wait actually he isn't.' -> 'SIKE, HE IS EVIL.' -> 'Nvm he isn't.' for some inconceivable reason.
It's a mess no matter how you slice it, honestly I am so tired of oshi no ko and I just want it to be over already.
YEAH. THAT'S BASICALLY WHERE I'M AT.
In general, I just don't know why we're having a second confrontation with Kamiki. Narratively and emotionally, it's redundant - having him come back into the story and get his final resolution would be fine but playing out Yet Another Big Dramatic Showdown between him and Aqua just falls so flat for a number of reasons. We've already had the huge release of tension that was Aqua and Kamiki facing off like nearly an entire volume ago and everything that was emotionally riding on that confrontation was emotionally resolved. I know some people are still mad that Aqua didn't hit Kamiki with an orbital laser or something, but the absolute fucking gutpunch that was 153-154 was so incredibly effective and also just more interesting than this much more generic standoff. Not only is it kind of mid on its own merits but I feel like it retroactively makes that first confrontation weaker because like... it ends up not really mattering and we get a take 2 where Kamiki is acting like an entirely different character.
@yuseirra made an excellent point in their discussion of ch159 which is that (thematically speaking) the movie has to be the method by which Aqua achieves his revenge because Ai's tragedy was the result of the public's perception of her. If it isn't able to do that then not only was that arc just kind of a waste of everyone's time, reader and character alike, but it means the movie itself as an object in the narrative loses what little shaky thematic ground it has.
An issue the Movie Arc always had that it never really engaged with to my satisfaction is the underlying discomfort of watching Ai's life being turned into a movie. I said this over and over as the arc was ongoing, but there's something almost repulsive about taking this character whose life was warped and eventually ended up the exploitation of the entertainment industry and the voyeristic gaze of the public and indulging in that voyerism by creating fiction out of her life, chopping it up and outright making shit up to invent a version of her that the public can devour. It claims to be a movie about 'Ai Hoshino' but literally and explicitly fictionalizes the most pivotal events and relationships in her life - the 'Ai' of 15 Year Lie is just as fake as 'Ai of B-Komachi', just sold with an even more insidious lie to make her go down a little sweeter.
If the manga actually engaged with this idea or was even the slightest bit aware of this underlying discomfort, the Movie Arc as a whole would've been much better off for it and so would all the resolutions in the arcs following that rely on it as foundation. But as it stands, the movie is thematically dead on arrival and the fantastic emotional resolutions we got out of it, in spite of everything, have been seemingly retconned into irrelevance.

Base Yandere Ticci-Toby Headcanons: A Very Unstable Yandere (Creepypasta) (Kinda)
[Hello, My Sexy Muffins! I am back with a new chapter! I hope that you all enjoy this chapter here, my muffins!]
(Disclaimer 1: For The most part Ticci-Toby is no longer considered a part of the creepypasta fandom. The original creator (All credit to them) asked that they, do not want Toby associated with it anymore. This is when he was part of the creepypasta fandom and is not the Ticci toby that he has become. So this is not the creator canon Ticci Toby but an alternate universe Ticci Toby (Kind of like a mult verse of sorts)
Disclaimer 2: In This Ticci Toby is 30 in this because he was born in 1994 (So in the year 2024) he is 30
Disclaimer 3: Ticci Toby is not yandere in canon! This is just for fun and not to be taken seriously at all! Simping for fictional characters and yanderes is fine! Just do not be illegal or gross about it! You know who you are! You Dirty, Flaky, Biscuits! Yanderes are not ideal partners to have in real life! Also, remember to separate fiction from reality and headcanon from canon! Thank you!)
-Base Yandere Headcanons with Ticci Toby From If He was Still part of the Creepypasta Fandom-
.Ticci Toby is a hyperactive man and very energetic.
.This carries over to how he is super energetic around you and excited to be around you.
.He always is full of energy around you and loves to hang out with you.
.He fell for you right away when he met you, which was when he was on a job for Slenderman.
.Meeting you was just a chance but he became obsessed with you right away.
.He is the type of yandere that would be very unstable and would be on the edge of snapping with mass murder or on the edge of snapping and kidnapping you!
.He has PTSD So does not like cars, and he does not like driving in cars. He would purposely fuck up your car to keep you from driving in it.
.He is irrational with this but he does not want you to ever be in a car or bus.
.He lost his sister and he is not willing to lose you so it is very likely that he would kidnap you!'
.He is going to stalk you as well.
.Making sure that you are safe and sound and that you are taken care of.
.He does meal prep in your home for you.
.Helps keep your house clean and taken care of and make sure that your fridge is always filled.
.It of course would be freaking you out, that someone you do not know is taking care of you?
.Yup he is pretty much a stalker house husband.
.He has been known to care for some very few people and of course, you are very much the person her cares about and loves the most.
.So he would want to take care of you.
.But he takes his bipolar disorder as a yandere to the extreme (fun fact I am I have bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, Borderline personality disorder, OCD, and so on, so I can see how relatable Toby is as a character and I say he takes his bipolar disorder as a yandere in the sense I know how my emotions flip so fast with bipolar and BPD (Borderline personality disorder has faster mood swing changes than a bipolar disorder to be honest Bipolar disorder is more so with mania and lows from high energy to low lows of not even get out of the bed, the more you know!) In which they go from one end to the other.
.When he is super active and energized he can seem more upbeat and more willing to be patient with you.
.But when he is having the low mood swings he can be a moody little bitch that is cruel and sadistic. saying very sarcastic things.
.He can have mood swings that are more similar to borderline personality disorder where they change very rapidly and can switch like a flip of this switch
(again this is from my personal experience with both mental illnesses that rapid mood swings rarely happen with bipolar disorder (though not impossible) but more so the rapid mood swings tend to happen with borderline personality disorder. (Again this is not always the case I am not a doctor and it takes more symptoms than just mood swings to be diagnosed with either of these mental illnesses and some people just be emotional messes with no mental illness at all!)
.His moods with his darling in particular can go from lovely dovey and sweet to very paranoid and that you are seeing someone else.
.His schizophrenia (Again I feel this) makes him a very paranoid yandere.
.Which with you may make him think that you are cheating on him with anyone and everyone!
.with rivals it makes him think that anyone and everyone could be a rival and makes him really on edge.
.This would make him stalk you even more! He has to make sure that you are not cheating on him and that no other man, woman, or other people are trying to get into bed with you.
.Back to his mood swings, they can switch so fast and it makes him very unstable as a yandere.
.Where he can be laughing with you, but then demanding why you looked at the cashier in the store 5 seconds too long
.You like him, don't you? You are secretly sleeping with him, aren't you?
.The mood swings with his schizophrenia make him so unstable!
.He can go again from lovely dovey and possessive to demanding and controlling.
.He tries his best to be a good partner to you, but he is not working to change these things, he continues on with how he acts and such.
.It does work for you as well as a darling because once you notice his patterns with how he reacts you can play with his emotions to manipulate him and calm him down.
.Of course, if you do not do it right it can backfire and he will say you and messing with him.
.It is a risky game to be playing with a yandere like him that is for sure.
.He is very much a troublemaker and a chaos gremlin.
.He will cause a lot of minor trouble for rivals. Simple things like pranks in their house, but since he is unstable it can get to the point where he slams a hatchet into their brains.  .With rivals he can be chill with them for a good part of time, but of course, he can act out and go on a murdering spree.
.He is the type of yandere that if he has a bad day and is pushed too much will commit mass murder with ANY AND ALL RIVALS
.He is actually a very protective yandere as well, if you had anyone who hurt you a bully, an abusive family member, anything really. He will kill them and torture them before he puts them out of their misery.
.He had an abusive father and since you are the person he cares for he does not want anyone to harm you.
.He would protect you from even slenderman.
.He would do everything to keep you safe.
.Once again he was stalking you. He is getting to know everything about you.
.He would also leave you gifts and presents for you.
.He wants you to know that he loves and cares for you.
.He can be a very dotting yandere.
.He would eventually start to worm his way into your life, since he is 30 years old he actually wants to settle down.
.So he has been doing his best to be a stalker house husband, but slowly work his way into your life so that he can be in your house with your knowledge.
.He also is a bit insecure though he is energetic and very open about how interested he is with you, how attractive he thinks you are, and how he compliments you a lot.
.He has issues with how he looks, and sometimes his tics and such. Even though they are just mainly the popping of joints.
.With you as his darling he would feel he would have to be up on your level and that he is not good enough for you.
.He might even lash out that he would never be good enough for you and how it is not fair.
.and last time on the anger and happy mood swing.
.This does affect how he treats you as well.
.In which he can be so happy with you, but since the mood swings are so bad a lot can set him off to be angry.
.Although that anger is rarely directed at you.
.He is the type of yandere that blames rivals, and your friends, families, roommates, anyone really.
.So he would for sure at some point kidnap you.
.May it be for your protection or for you to love him it could be either of those.
.Now how he would confess to you, remember this is when he wormed his way into your life.
.He would confess to you over dinner, doing his best to look his best and wear his best clothes.
.If you accept his love he will be the happiest he has ever been and so excited that he leaps up from the seat to smooch you. (This would be your guy's first kiss)
.If you turn him down he is shattered and you know he is going to knock you out.
.He would think one of two no three things.
.One someone was poisoning your mind against him so he has to seclude you so he can make you understand your feelings.
.I almost forgot to mention because he is schizophrenic he is a very delusional yandere.
.Hearing voices and such telling him that you love him and that you needed to be protected at all costs, even from yourself.
.So yes, once again a very delusional and canoically insane man and that affects how he would be as a yandere.
.The Second reason he might kidnap you is thinking that you are in love with someone else.
.So he has to protect you and keep you away from people trying to steal you away or hurt you.
.And the last one, he is angry, yup one of the few rare times he would be angry at you and he has to teach you to love him.
.Cause clearly you have had too much freedom and he is going to make sure that you learn to be a good darling for him.
.Of course, this is if he did not kidnap you before confessing.
.If he did kidnap you before confessing he would confess to you when you woke up.
.If you accept his love in that way he will let you have more freedom in the creepypasta mansion
.He got slenderman to let you stay and slenderman made sure everyone knew not to hurt you.
.If you turn down his love well you are at stage one, which has you chained to the bed, by an ankle chain where you have limited freedom, can still reach the bathroom and such. But you will have to earn his trust to give you freedom.
.Also he is going to be doing everything can to make you fall in love with him, and he will most likely make you fall in love with him, where you are basically dependent on him for anything and everything. Good luck!
.This is what you would be like if he confessed before kidnapping and you rejected him at the dinner. Then he kidnapped you and you have the ankle chain.
.You will for so long be only able to see him that you will crave his companionship just as much as him.
[YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs, another chapter is done! This one is (minutes the disclaimer and info on mental illness is over 1,600 words. I hope that you all enjoyed, and stay sexy, all of my sexy muffins!]

kinda psa but
been kind of nervous about giving my thoughts on this but there has been a few people who attempted to follow me that i would feel safer with if i didn't see pairings they wrote that are um. a little pro shippy ? i'm uncomfortable with the romanticizing of characters that are incestual , abusive , or overall just deemed hugely problematic. for example , belle does not like gaston. i would never make the excuse that she somehow could COME AROUND to liking him to romantically ship with a gaston writer. belle is abused by gaston. he hopes to control her and is incredibly problematic with how he wishes to possess her. he is jealous , vindictive , narcissistic , and even when she makes her feelings clear that it is held with someone else .. he wants to kill the person who is in his way of being with her.
also obviously i do not write snow white but i HAVE wrote her and this was prevalent on my blog when i did. snow is canonically 14 years old. things outside of giddy laughter and childish cutesy banter that go into inappropriate territories i do not believe should somehow be JUSTIFIED. i'm uncomfortable with that just as i am uncomfortable with people writing pairings that are problematic under the guise that it's essentially okay that this happened. so anyway ?? even if i might LIKE your portrayal , if you tend to gravitate towards pairings that are very very problematic and attempt to justify that .. i just cannot in good faith support following.
i want to treat this as a place where we can all write our barbie doll characters and live in our fictional worlds and stuff but then also .. i don't want to sweep aside my own feelings on the matter. and tbh i'm also not saying you can't love a villain's arc because i LOVE a ton villain arcs. so yeah !! here's to setting my own boundaries on the matter.

Sometimes I think... What if Willow was not a canon character? What if she appeared only in some fanfic on AO3, how people would feel about her?
I mean, she has pattern of standard Mary Sue from some fan fiction. Lemme explain.
Firstly, she is strong. Even stronger than Emperor's Coven scouts, who've been, I'm reminding, harshly trained for years and have a lot of experience. But Willow just beats them like it's nothing for her.
Meanwhile, there is no clear reason for her to be so strong. All creator says is «she is talented and trains a lot», but... Willow has started training after the Grugby episode from season 1. That means she's been training only for two or one month. I'm not an expert but I think you can't get so much strength by that little time.
Well, okay, we can assume that Willow started doing Flyer Derby specifically after the Grugby episode. Maybe she was training even before that, but... It's still a shitty argument. I have some friends who've been training for many years and I can say they can't defeat a trained soldier. After all, a soldier knows special techniques and special fight skills. Scouts in EC can use any kind of magic, so they MUST learn every of nine tracks magic. So, how do you think, can a schoolgirl-plant-witch defeat a trained soldier with an experience.
Secondly, Hunter's character after meeting Willow. Hunter was positioned (before «Any sports in a storm») as a goofy, strong, confident person, but then we know him as a traumatized, apathetic and lost character who needs someone to help him to get out from toxic influence of his «uncle».
But what he's becomed after meeting Willow? He became a poor little boy who needs hugs and comfort 🥺🥺🥺. After joining the Hexsquad Hunter lost most of his power, he sometimes becomes a damsel in distress so Willow can save her little meow meow.
Please, separate a traumatize character who needs help and spirit mentor from a poor little thing who need comfort. Hunter is not the first thing. He is the second.
I know, this is kinda not Willow's problem as a character, but just imagine if all episodes after ASIAS were just a fanfic. How would you feel if a strong and mean character (Hunter) became a weakling who needs help from his girlboss?
Thirdly, cliche. I don't think Willow's story is bad, but I must admit it's kinda unoriginal. She has a standard Y/N storyline. «Poor girl was bullied, but then she discovered her true power and became stronger than her bullies». Where have we seen that? Well, practically in every fanfic.
What do we have in result?
Willow is somehow stronger that trained soldiers.
A strong and complex character became a total mess and crybaby because of interactions with her.
She has a quiet standard backstory.
I'm pretty sure: if Park was a fan character she would've been hated by everyone. We would've seen a lot of angry posts about little girls spoiling canon character's personality for their own fantasies.
But why the canon character with such traits is considered as something good?
UPD: It gets more sad for me, because I read fanfics and have my own TOH fan characters. I saw a lot of good, fleshed out and deep OC, but they was branded as Mary Sues because they was smart and powerful. Must specify, but all, these powers were explained, so characters wasn't skilled out of nowhere. I'm trying to make my own characters as realistic as I can. I paranoidly make a lot of flaws to my OCs so they can't become Sues. But then I see canon TOH characters and think: does it worth it? Why am I trying if I know that all of the canons are overpowered without any explanation?

Well, you know how it is sometimes, you feel like you are at the lowest point of your life and therefore have an urge to start the blog on Tumblr in most awkward way possible. I have been very lonely lately, and in need of improving my english, so, I decided that, maybe, I could find some pals here? Someone to talk about life and fictional characters and whats not… Why am I posting pictures of this man, of all people? Because he is my literal BFF, he is on my mind every day for the last four years and it seems like this site is the only place where people can understand what kind of relationship I'm even talking about right now, haha. I have plenty of his portraits in store, but I desided to start with those little sketches, just to test the waters… Also, I feel like there is not enough fanart of him and I would do an honoroble thing If I contributed, despite being extremely self-conscious. So, um… Feel free to dm me if you would like to chat about anything TES related or not, and If there is no people willing to talk, I would continue posting anyways, because I feel like doing so. Thank you for reading my chaotic monologue. Have a good day!
