Autumn Equinox + Harvest + "Could it be, suddenly, I'm falling for you" – My September submission for @ayearofrosegarden! Autumn Equinox and Harvest Season festival/ball, Ruby and Oscar, from different kingdoms meet and there's a spark. This is technically a Prince!Oscar and Knight!Ruby AU, and Ruby was supposed to be in a uniform, but the dress took over lol – Do not repost.

Marooned Without a Compass Day

Person A was in a situation so bad that they had to run away to escape it and go off the grid, but early into their time struggling to survive in the wilderness, they meet Person B, who seems to be a gifted survivalist with a knack for finding in season plants to eat, hunting/fishing, and natural shelters. Person A ends up spending the harsher seasons with them, but when spring comes, Person B insists on them going their separate ways and meeting up at the end of spring. Person A begrudgingly agrees, but then stumbles across Person B being treated as a guest of honor at a giant feast with random people from the nearby towns/cities. Person A sticks around for the feast, snagging food and staying out of Person B’s sight and a distance from most of the festivities, but approaches Person B after the several week long festivities and demands an explanation. Person B eventually admits they’re a fertility and nature god, and during spring their powers become abundant and that being in their presence boosts fertility (and the associated hormones and urges) during that time and they didn’t want Person A to end up doing something they’d regret while under the affects of magic - whereas the guests all knew and it was a yearly event for people in need of such help.

Blinking back tears, she turned her gaze to Zuko. He hadn’t moved an inch. “Did you plan this?” She asked with awe. His jaw dropped agape, and his mouth widened when he whispered in the same tone as her. “Katara…Look.”

It's a surprise, really—one that she'll remember for the rest of their lives.

Fic idea: Aang is tasked with finding a missing fire spirit, only to realise that the spirit is needed for an important festival tomorrow

To buy time, someone needs to pretend to be the missing fire spirit. And who else to ask but a descendent of Agni himself? Whether the Fire Royals actually are/aren't direct descendants of Agni is debatable, but they smell different to normal firebenders, enough to briefly pull off the disguise.

Our favorite admiral in a slightly different environment. I dont know why but I think that Ar'alani would love Taiko drums.

It's so boring to always draw the same imperial or chiss uniforms so here's something for a change. Thats the only thing i dont like about star wars, the repetitive designs in the clothes. I am more the Fantasy /asian like typ, the is something in this style I really like a lot.

Champion Crab Races Day & National PTA Founders’ Day

Person A is part of their child’s school’s PTA and has mermaid ancestry, so when discussions come up about advancements in magic technology that would allow mermaids and human students to do an exchange program, Person A doesn’t see an issue. But the other parents on the committee oppose the idea and site some racist stereotypes about mermaids as their reasoning why. Discouraged, Person A vents to their mermaid relatives and comes up with an idea of having a beach trip-cultural exchange festival for their child’s school to try to get the other parents on their PTA and classmates of their child more aware. Person B is a teacher at the school who helps them with planning and organizing the event.
