Back when I was in the .. community in like 2010 I would get SO annoyed at people for making posts about other subjects on their .. blog. Like you have to remember back then we had no blocked tags or extensions to clean up our dash. And we took blogging so seriously lmao someone with a tv show blog accidentally reblogging gaming stuff would get crucified (hence why we all had like 50 side blogs)
So when we finally got the first extension I proposed a tag that was unique to us so everyone would use it to tag all the bullshit and personal posts. It took off because well, I wasn't the only one annoyed ._.
People still use it today 🥲
