Okay so I know they aren't the most popular characters, likely due to not much being known about them, but I genuinely think there was some real potential and mystery in both Felix and Vallory's backstories.

To start with we know that Felix was extremely smart, being able to bypass Hyperion's biometric security, hack into their systems and change his information, and made one of a kind things like Fiona's elemental derringer (or Sasha's healing pocket watch before it got retconned to be that stupid crystal). He was crafty, he was intelligent, and there was some mystery in his backstory teased in Tales.
The first time we find out that he had a past Fiona and Sasha didn't know about is in Hollowpoint, when Fiona finds a picture of a younger Felix with a woman that neither her nor Sasha recognise, but with Fiona remarking that they seem happy.

It's surrounded by multiple empty bottles, and since neither of the girls have ever seen the photo before it's fairly easy to assume it brings up painful memories. The photo has a crease down the middle which would probably indicate that it was something he carried around with him, folded up in his pocket instead of just being hidden away in a drawer somewhere.
Now there's a chance it could be a younger Vallory sure but considering how it's never elaborated on I don't think that's something that can be said for certain. Either way the pair are dressed in outfits that seem similar to each other, which would probably mean that they weren't just emotionally close with each other but probably worked together as well.
Now regardless of whether or not that woman in the picture is Vallory, we know that Felix and Vallory DID have prior history together. He clearly is afraid of what she can do, she's been well aware of both Fiona and Sasha for most of their lives despite them never hearing about her before which would likely indicate she'd been keeping tabs on Felix. On the contrary, Felix was completely unaware of what was going on in Vallory's life, that August was her son until the vault key deal was already in progress, which would mean he likely wanted absolutely nothing to do with Vallory and tried to stay far out of her life, potentially even trying to hide from her to protect both himself and Fiona and Sasha.

Now then, onto Vallory. Vallory is introduced as the Queenpin, she's a feared crime boss that has some connections at Hyperion and plenty of bandits at her disposal. She's tactical and cruel and is one of the main antagonists for the Tales crew.
Regarding her relationship to Felix, she clearly holds a grudge against him for some prior reason that isn't explained. Sure she's mad about the vault key deal but she goes out of her way to tear Felix out of the photo she finds of him, Fiona, and Sasha.

She also seems to focus far more on Fiona, directing her questions at her, taunting her, and referring to her as the leader of the Tales group. She's callous and cruel and can stab either Sasha or Vaughn to deliberately to fuck with Fiona and make her agree to her terms.
She has connections at Hyperion. At first it seems like it's just Vasquez she knows but then Finch is able to walk around Helios freely without having to blend in so it seems likely she has more. When this started it isn't clear, whether it was while Jack was alive or after his death. We know Hyperion had dealings with some criminals on Pandora before, like with turning people over for experimentation, so it's possible she had a hand in that or something similar.
But where I think it gets really interesting is when Fiona confronts her during episode 5. While talking about the Traveller she says "it's bigger than any I've ever seen" which would seemingly point to her being someone involved with vault hunting in the past or at the very least involved with someone else who was vault hunting. Sure she could have seen the Warrior from a distance when Jack awakened it but that's not really enough to mention the Traveller being bigger than any vault monster she's ever seen.
That's not to say I think she was a successful vault hunter or anything, but maybe that she was someone who was able to attempt it and get pretty far, or was allies with someone else that did.
Aside from that Athena seemingly knows her, and Vallory was more than willing to fight Athena before August stopped her. Vallory isn't stupid, she sends in her goons to do her dirty work when she doesn't want to get involved. For her to be willing to fight a literal assassin/vault hunter, even if it was impulsively, she must have some kind of confidence that she could actually get somewhere with that.
Hell she even has the ability to contact the Crimson Raiders and enlist the help of Mordecai and Brick to take out Athena, sure they needed to get her for Lilith but the fact that Vallory even knew that they were going after her and implies that she has some idea of why is impressive.

All in all I think that those two were really interesting characters and I wish we would've gotten more lore about them, why they knew each other, what they did before, and what exactly was going on between them.

If we're talking CBeebies nostalgia, I used to watch Nina and the Neurons when I was little and lowkey had a crush on Felix the green touch neuron 😭 I also shipped him with Ollie the purple scent neuron, don't ask me why (again, long before I even knew what shipping or fandom were lol). I remember being disappointed when Felix's voice actor changed because I preferred his original voice 😂 All this to say, don't be embarrassed about your Archie From Balamory self-shipping. I'm gonna run and hide now! 😅

This data proves strongly my theory – where
The sun rays is NOT produced by the sun nuclear fusion – means – the energy is NOT produced from the sun body – BUT
The energy is produced by the planets motions energies and for that the corona has energy more than the sun body- because the energy comes from out of the sun into the sun- shortly- the energy out of the sun is greater than the energy inside the sun because the sun does NOT produce this energy- this energy is produced by the planets motions energies.
(Fact No. 6) The Sun Corona Temperature Is (5 million Kelvin) and the sun surface is 5800 Kelvin because the energy is NOT produced by The Sun Nuclear Fusion.
This fact is told just before – the sun corona temperature is a strong proof supports my theory tells (the sun rays is created by the planets motions energies total and not by the nuclear fusion)

As We Have Seen In The Total Solar Eclipse Data, the sun data is in proportionality with the planets data proves the sun rays is created by the planets motions energies- But – not only this data

Suppose the light beam (300000 km/s) moves in the reflected direction (in the space) and also (in the time) – that can enable the light (300000 km/s) to move into its past and meet the original one (1.16 million km/s) in the past and the coherence can be done there in the past- and we see the coherence results and effects on the solar system-
Means – the light (300000 km/s) moves into its past and found the original light (1.16 million km/s) in the past and the coherence could be done there in the past
Please note- this analysis tells us the light can move on the time axis means can move into the future and into the past- but the matter can Not do that- I explain the reason in my paper (No. I-6)
Shortly- we have a proof for the motion on the time axis and we can create the time machine by this method and the light will be our tool which can move into the past to get pictures and data from the past to us-

B- The Solar Planets Creation
We know- The solar system is one wave moves by speed of light (C=300000 km/s)
Through the space- (till now NO any planet is created)  
Now -The Solar System needs To Create A Stationary Point Its velocity Zero relative to the moving wave its velocity is 300000 km/s
This is the basic information in the solar system design-
The solar system needs to create a stationary point relative to the wave motion- by that – two velocities will be found which are (v1= the wave velocity 300000 km/s) and (v2= Zero= the stationary point relative to the wave motion)–these two velocities produce a relative motion with different velocity 300000 km/s–
Notice – the stationary point velocity is 1 km/s (= Zero approximately)

Everything in the solar system is carried on this one light beam motion- and nothing is static- No stationary point can be found here-

Now – let's try to create this stationary point in following
The solar system uses two procedures to do that,  
The first procedure
The wave its velocity 300000 km/s revolves around a point in space (any point in space), the revolution motion creates 2 equal velocities on both sides of the revolution- the two velocities are equal in value and opposite in direction- their total be equal Zero-means- the revolution motion creates One Stationary Point in the center of the revolution. 
The second procedure
The previous idea is correct- but –the velocity 300000 km/s is a huge one and to decrease it to Zero velocity this is a complex process– for that- the wave (300000 km/s) created small waves with low velocities to use them as steps to decrease the velocity to Zero- the small waves are The Planets- (The planet is a small wave moves by low velocity relative to the mother wave its velocity 300000 km/s) 
Why Are These Small Waves Required?
Because the velocity 300000 km/s is decreased to Zero by using these small waves and their low velocities- the low velocities are used as steps to decrease the wave velocity (300000 km/s) to be (Zero)- this process decreases the velocity gradually from 300000 km/s to Zero depending on these small waves velocities (the planets velocities)  
Means- the planets are created for this process to decrease the wave velocity from 300000 km/s to Zero- and The Planet Is A Small Wave Moves By Low Velocity

Please note clearly this idea- because-
The solar system has one motor for all motions which is the wave motion by speed of light (300000 km/s) No any other motor is found in the solar system
The planets are similar to carriages in one train but the train engine is the light motion by that the only motor under all motions in the solar system is the wave motion (speed of light 300000 km/s)
So, we have to ask- how can any planet move by a velocity Less than (300000 km/s)?
Because – The Planets Use Different Rates Of Time-
The rates of time is created based on the velocities rates –
For example-
Mercury velocity =1.6 Earth velocity, for that, one hour of Mercury clock= 1.6 hours of the Earth clock and by that Mercury and the Earth move equal distances in equal periods of time. 
This is very important fact because – the light moves carrying all planets with it- Now the light moves (one motion) and passes (one distance) in (one period of time)
All planets will move (this same motion) and pass (this same distance) in (this same period of time)- but
We need different velocities for the planets to work as steps to decrease the velocity (300000 km/s) to Zero (Stationary point)- means- it's essential to have (different velocities) and that causes the using of the rates of time inevitable and essential method to enable the solar system to do its motion.

What does that mean?

Here - the solar system is similar to a river of water moves from a point to another and the rate of time defines the amount of the transported water (energy)

The energy is transported among the planets and the amount of energy is defined by the rates of time- because- the energy transportation necessitates to transport the motion among the planets and the motion transportation caused to transport the rates of time among the planets-

Where can we find a planet its velocity 75 km/s? this planet must be in the distance between the Sun and Mercury –

It's hard to add any planet in the distance between Mercury and the Sun- means- we can't add any new planet to the solar group because of the Sun existence.

How Could The Found Planets Be Added To The Solar System?
The Sun is created after all planets creation and motion- means – after all planets be in their orbits the Sun is created- In details-The planets were created in their orbits and revolve around a point of space, before the sun creation, and later the sun is created in this point of space around which the planets revolve

Imagine we create A Sea Of Water- we use energy to create this sea of water- now we have some energy and we use this energy to create this sea of water- BUT- our energy is NOT spent completely But there's a small part still rest with us – this small part of energy is used to create one wave moves through this sea and this wave speed is 300000 km/s (I suppose the space is similar to the sea of water)
Now – the rest energy is found in one light beam its speed 300000 km/s and this light beam is found NOW in Pluto Orbit – and this light beam will be reflected from Pluto orbit toward the inner planets– means- the rest energy will move in the reflected direction to the original light motion direction.

His arm is hot around you, keeping you safe from the scary silhouettes the shadows bring, and the night is breathing. A group of you had come to this little campground for a night away from the city lights, and while the two of you are alone you can still hear the rest of the boy’s nighttime sounds mixing in with crickets and critters. 
Your boyfriend stands beside you, listening intently as you tell him stories of the stars. Usually, these tales come from the comfort of your bed–rustling under covers and speaking into his mouth, sharing breath and love until you fall asleep, tracing false shapes in the plastic stars adorning your ceiling. But tonight, under the cover of a too cold darkness you tell him his bedtime stories beneath the sky. 
His face is tilted up, looking to see where your fingers are pointing, and the soft glint in his midnight eyes makes you pause. You’ve never known someone who looked so alive, someone with a sun for a soul. Felix has the brightest smile you’ve ever seen, alight with joy and senseless mischief–eyes wide with wonder at the constellations rising above him. 
Looking at him is dizzying; that feeling when you put your arms out and spin so fast you fall, a carousel going so round and round. You feel like flying, rising up like the moment Icarus’ wings took him up and away. 
Sometimes you wonder if it’s normal to feel like this… if everyone in love feels as though they are the creator, the inventor of such depraved desire and compassion for another. Surely, you must be the first–no one else had felt Felix’s fingertips on their skin or his lips sweetly drinking them in. How could someone say they’ve encountered a deeper love than this when your sweetheart is the embodiment of love, Venus as a boy. 
He turns to you in your moment of hesitation, smiling at you with all the care in the world. He loves you endlessly, burns for you and the soft caress of your affection. You can tell he doesn’t know why you stopped speaking, but he’s happy just the same–sharing your space and time, living in this moment with you. He remembers the first time you told him a story, speaking the words softly, he thinks he fell in love right there. 
“What’s that one?” he asks, catching your still raised hand in his own. 
“Oh, it's a crown, see?” you can see his eyes tracing the points, finding the shape that connects the points together. “It’s Ariadne’s wedding tiara, she was a princess of Crete who helped Theseus slay her brother the Minotaur Asterion. After they escaped the labyrinth, the prince left her on the Island of Naxos where she was found by Dionysus,” 
“He left her there?!” he gasps, your sweet boy forever confused by ill intentions, even in a story. 
“Yeah, he’s so lame, right? Anyway, after the God finds her on his island they fall in love and eventually marry… the crown was her wedding present, and after she died Dionysus flung it into the sky to honor her.”
Felix is quiet for a long time after this, inhaling the story with all the deference you deserve. After every narrative he takes his time to think about how he feels about it: the first time you finished a movie with him and he was quiet for fifteen minutes before he told you he liked it, he is like that now. Quietly staring at the sky, not ignoring you for his hand still made its path up and down your arm and you know if you called his name he’d answer, but you don’t want to interrupt his silent seeking. 
His life is noisy, spirited, and wonderful in all the ways a beautiful boy like him creates, your infatuation came in chaos–in mindless chatter and kitchen counter dance parties, but you fell in love in silence. In the moments when the world was quiet and all you could hear was his heartbeat, the drawling intake of his lungs filling and releasing. You adore his voice, but just existing with him, sharing the same air would be lovely enough for a lifetime. 
Finally, after minutes of staring ahead, he speaks–softly but with no less intensity, 
“If something were to happen to you I would make you into a constellation.” 
His eyes, bright with longing stare into yours, and you know he’s not being funny. He means it with all of him, means it with every atom of his being. 
Shocked and in love with him you laugh, bursting with fondness never hidden. “I love you too,” you say, for you know that's what he means. A love that spills from his veins whenever he thinks of you, so massive and consuming that the words aren’t enough. “I’d make a constellation for you too, it’d be the prettiest one in the whole sky.” 
When he moves closer to you, you can feel the smile radiating on his shadowed face–sweeping his grin over the plane of your cheekbones. Scorching your skin where his lips touch, a traveling forest fire of kisses. When his journey ends, sliding his mouth over yours the flames grow, getting taller and taller as his caress goes deeper. 
The night is chilly, but there is no need for a coat when his arms are around you–sweeping you into his embrace with only the stars to watch. 
“Lets go to bed, lovely” he muttered, breathing through open-mouthed kisses and shared smiles. Leading you to where your tent lies, to where stories and sleep await you–love and life and dreams filled with him, your constellation of a boy.

But it has been ten long years since the Empire of Aea had declared war upon your home. Ten years fighting to keep your kingdom's independence- for your chance to rule- only for it to ripped away from you. And it's your own fault.
You had one more charge to lead against Aean forces, and you had lost that battle. Losing was no stranger to you, but none had been thorough and devastating. This loss had ended with you being taken as a prisoner of war, and the end of the war soon followed.
Now you are "free", a welcomed "guest" in the Aean court.  Being executed would have been a fairer fate.

Empress Dalia Solia Vespera | she/her | 176
Dalia’s reign has thus far been one of tenuous peace, which is relative. Her predecessor had walked the path of conquest of new territories while Dalia prefers to keep the empire’s current territories in line. She is a calculated and distant with a face that is ever neutral.

Edela Soleil Vespera | she/her | 37
Crown heir of the Aean’s empire. Edela is a woman who holds her head high, some may call her over confident but she cares little for the words of others. The lives of most around her mean little to her anyhow. She is also known for her highly destructive gravitational magic and is a formidable battle mage you luckily did not have the misfortune of going up against.
Augustus Valentino Vespera  | he/him | 30 | RO
The second in line for the crown is the eldest son of the Vespera family. He is a formidable draconian knight, and the very soldier who struck you down in battle. Despite it all, he seems to be the only member of the royal family who wishes to make your stay at least somewhat bearable.
Camilla Junia Vespera + Camillo Felix Vespera | he/him + she/her | 28 (twins)
The Vespera twins are always found at each other’s side, even on the battle field. They are a terrifying duo, even the most twisted members of the court shudder in their presence. Camillo always has a sinister smile on his lips and is the clear leader of the duo while his sister Camilla trails behind him like a ghost. The two take care of criminals of the highest order, thankfully they were not permitted to try any of their information “extraction” tactics on you.
Diedre Vespera | he/him (atm) | 24 | RO
The youngest of the Vespera children. A sickly man with a bitter disposition. He bears no empathy for others and bringing others down with cruel words is the only thing that seems to bring a smile to his face. He takes special joy in ruining his wife's day.
Aea Royal Court
Astra Aurora Valeria | she/her | 27 | RO
Aurora is an confident woman that many look up to. She is gentle, intelligent, and beautiful, a potent combination that makes her a magnet for the court’s admiration. Occasionally you catch glimpses of cunning ambitions in her eyes. She is also the wife of Diedre Vespera. 
Arielle Seballius | he/him | 29 | RO
Ari is Lady Astra Valeria's loyal body guard, wherever she is he is not far behind. Ever since she married into the royal family he has been at her side, though he is not a knight in title or in spirit. He has a playful demeanor but the words that can come out of his mouth are as sharp as his sword, or they would be if he ever carried his weapon with him. 
Asrani Alim Valencia | they/them | 26 | RO
Cousin to Lady Aurora Valeria and leading inventor in the courts of Aea, many are jealous of the young noble and believe their position as royal inventor comes from nepotism through their cousin. Asrani is a quiet person always lost in thought, so quiet that it is easy to forget they are right next to you. 
Ambrose | she/they | 24 | RO
Ambrose is an actual guest of the court, from the kingdom of Vakar. She is sunny and deeply kind, with an earnest and genuine demeanor that is horribly out of place in such a miserable place. Like a candle in the dark, you don’t know how she still smile in this environment. As sweet as she is her attachment to her “god” is a bit disconcerting.
Ira Maenius | she/her | 35
A noblewoman from the coastal nation of Nizath, one of the empire's closest allies. Her family is known for amazing naval navigation and does a lot of foreign trade. Despite her affinity for water magic, Ira can be a bit hot headed. She is stubborn and quick to react, but she always tries to do right to the best of her ability. But that doesn't mean she can't complain a little while doing it.
Laika Aurelius | she/he | 32 | RO
A disowned child of a merchant family from Vakar, you can't imagine why she lives amongst the Aean court. People do not take too kindly to her and make that quiet known. Perhaps it's because he has a penchant to sleep around, or the fact that he has a sharp tongue that always seems to strike at the most sensitive of nerves. Regardless she seems to be having fun.
Volo | use whatever man | ??? | RO
A mysterious court artist, the empress' favorite at that. You don't know how Volo sees well enough through their mask to paint but you know talent when you see it. Painting is not Volo's only skill, Volo tends to jump from artistic hobby to hobby to fill time. Leaving half finished collages, music sheets, and screen plays in Volo's wake as Volo seeks Volo's next muse.
Noel | they/them | 26 | RO
Once a soldier in the Aean army now a medical professional, Noel is in line to be the next royal physician. They train under the current one and love their work dearly. Noel is compassionate and patient, seeking to soothe whatever pains you regardless of if you are their patient or not. They find beauty in all things, but is partial to the primal beauty of the natural world. Their magic allows them to work in tandem with nature to bring their patients the best medicine possible.
Venus | he/they | 28 | RO
An Aean knight with a grouchy disposition, seemingly friends with Lady Ira Meanius. Their tendency for bluntness and straightforwardness can be is both a blessing and a curse depending on who you ask. Venus is never seen without his scowl and a snide remark on his lips. Despite being a lower ranking knight he holds his head as high as any of the top knights, and takes great pride in his duties. His current one being your personal guard.

currently thinking about how ages ago my friend sent me a long-ass explanation about why saltburn is an adaptation of the myth involving theseus, the minotaur, and the labyrinth.
nobody asked but here’s some of the fun proof that exists of this:
first and foremost, icarus, the boy who flew too close to the sun. during the party scene, it is evident that felix symbolises this poor ill-fated youth, and the symbolism here is potent. he flew too close to finding out what oliver truly is. he discovered something he shouldn’t have, and dressing him up in icarus cosplay is the perfect showcase for his fate and his mistakes. it’s also brilliant in terms of what icarus actually did to “deserve” death. realistically, he was told not to go too high or too low, but in actuality, such cryptic instructions were difficult to follow mid-flight, and it resulted in catastrophe. felix is trying to navigate the responsibilities of being a good friend with his baggage as someone in a family of rich pricks. it’s hard, and in flying too far away from his background, he “flew too close to the sun” and discovered things he shouldn’t have. as a small nod to further the icarus imagery, felix’s body is discovered under bright and direct sunlight as he lays motionless in his winged costume.
secondly, saltburn is in the center of a labyrinth. the labyrinth lore runs deep in this movie, because not only does the labyrinth function as symbolism, it has lore that runs adjacent to the lore of the actual labyrinth. in theseus and the minotaur, the labyrinth is a construct of greek architect and inventor daedalus, who was conscripted by king minos to create the maze. in saltburn, the labyrinth is constructed upon special request from james catton, the owner of the estate, and a very wealthy man (almost like a modern day king).
the labyrinth (in the original myth) is dangerous to all characters that reside within it. it keeps all in within a chance for escape, and those that get close die tragically. in saltburn, the labyrinth functions as an ode to the ways in which riches and fame poison those that reside in the walls, keeping them locked within its dangerous talons, or in this case, cleanly trimmed hedges. it’s suburbia on a larger and more internal scale. even those that do not have riches themselves, namely farleigh and annabel, do everything they can to remain on the estate and in the good graces of those on the property with immense money. it affects how they act and how they are expected to act. farleigh, as a good example, is very stuck on the particulars of rich people’s behaviour. as mentioned above, those that try to leave the maze die tragically, and icarus is a prime example. felix, in his attempt to be better than the riches of the estate socially allow, flies too close to a possible escape from the confines of the labyrinth and is murdered as a result.
in the story of the labyrinth, it is unsolvable, unless you are clever and quick witted (manipulative), which theseus luckily is. the same is true for oliver. oliver, like theseus, gets into the heads of multiple characters, manipulating his way to the top of the food chain. the scene where oliver views the wooden counterprt of the maze through the head office in the estate, he is told that he shouldn’t be there, and a sense of ominous foreboding takes place. we feel that he has seen something that will change him. however, i believe this is simply symbolism for the fact that oliver has figured out the secret to the maze: a secret that he, an outsider and a poorer, less sociable man should not be aware of, as he is a representation of theseus, a character who has no right being king.
thirdly, oliver is juxtaposed with imagery if the minotaur during the party scene, and though this costume doubles as a reference to the changeling in a midsummer night’s dream, it is still highly important. in the original myth, people are sacrificed to the minotaur on a yearly basis. at first, felix fits the profile for the minotaur: a rich, wealthy man in a labyrinth who is regularly described as going through friends the way a young boy would go through toys. it is also true that the minotaur has often been seen as a controversial figure, one that begs the question “is a monster just a tormented creature fated to behave according to the will of the gods?”. felix’s behaviour, or namely, his attempted deviancy from the behaviour he is expected to show, is a major prt of his character arch. we expect oliver to be the victim of felix’s behaviour exactly because of this. but he isn’t. an easy explanation is that oliver is the minotaur, going through the family members as though they were victims in a maze. however, oliver is NOT the minotaur, as the myth is a lot more complex than the minotaur being the bad guy. despite what we expect, director emily fennel is leaning into the concept that the minotaur’s storyline is that of fate versus free will. the minotaur is cursed by the gods to fall into certain patterns and to be punished for its behaviour, despite it doing exactly what was expected. felix attempts to deviate from what is expected, but ultimately he fits in well with the rich and social, and his death is a punishment at the hands of a sort-of theseus who believes he is more deserving. rather, oliver is also seen to be theseus, who famously invaded the maze, manipulated its dwellers in order to navigate it, killed the minotaur, and then manipulated his way into becoming king as a result. sound familiar? it is because of this that the imagery of oliver as the changeling is particularly important. the horns can be evocative of the minotaur, offering us a red herring, where he is truly disguised as the opposite. it’s a fake out.
fourthly, king minos (owner of the labyrinth) did not die directly at the hands of theseus, he did eventually meet his downfall and was boiled to death in a bath. james catton, head of the estate, dies of a supposed suicide, also not directly by oliver’s hands, but still implicitly connected to the events of the story, much like king minos’ death.
the lore in this film is incredible, and though emily fennel has not said that the film is an adaptation of greek myth, the parallels are deliciously undeniable. saltburn is fascinating, and truly one of the best films of 2023. there is so much stuff jam packed into it, and it’s one of those films that takes a few watches to fully grasp its depth. i love it!

Ch. 5: Radio Killed the Video Star
The next day at Hazbin Hotel-
Charlie Is pacing back and forth in panic mode with Keekee walking alongside her owner.
"Okay. So the extermination is coming in six months instead of a year. No big deal. Just a little setback. Nothing we can't handle. Just angels cutting our timetable in half. But who needs a whole year to save souls? Am I right?!" Charlie starts to panic, "And next time when they cut the time in half again, and again, we'll just handle it, right?!"
Vaggie grabs Charlie, calming her down, "Yes. We will."
"This is nothing more than a minor set back." Yn added as she rubs her head, calming her down.
"Oh, please, ya had less than half a chance when you started all this salvation bullshit. And now..." Angel Dust's phone vibrates with violent threating messages such as 'fucking bitch', "Ain't no silver lining this time toots."
"Angel...Come on.. There's always a bright side!" Yn smiled as her phone vibrated with panickeing messages from IMP. "There's..always hope."
The messages on Yn's phone:
Blitz❤️: "Lovey, have you heard to news!?!"
M&M: "Sweety are you okay?! me and Moxxie have been trying to contact you?!"
Tweety Bird👑🪶💙: "Yn when will you come and visit me?, I've been feeling lonely here~"
Big Daddy Ozzie: "Yn by any chance have you seen Felix's favorite earrings?"

"Yn is right! We just...have to look a little harder for it!" Charlie smiled widely.
"Well, while you're lookin', the rest'a hell's goin' nuts." Angel waves his phone in their faces, "People are already freakin' out about the news. Look at what's happenin' in the Doomsday District."
He scrolls down an article with the bottom showing a demon screaming in front of a fire. Suddenly a pink message appears. Charlie gets closer to read it.
"Err, what is a. Donkey Show?" Charlie question.
Angel panics and retreats the phone back, "Aah, heh, nothin'. My boss, Val, is just freaked out about the news too. Like I said, everyone's losin' their shit." Angel Dust laughs nervously.
"Yeah, that's true. Sinners are desperate." Vaggie stated.
"Maybe desperate enough to try anything to escape the extermination?" Yn smirked.
Charlie gasps, "This is the perfect time to recruit more sinners for the hotel!" Charlie squeals.
"Cute idea and all, but you really gonna go out in all of this?" Angel Dust waves the phone with the place still on fire and demons in panic.
"Well, it's not like people are just gonna show up on our doorstep..." Yn texted on her phone as she smirked.
Suddenly, a massive explosion made Charlie scream in a fight from behind, getting their attention. They turn to see a freshly made hole in the wall.
"What the what?!" Yn shouted.
Outside the hotel Sir Pentious him and his Egg Boiz zeppelin armed for battle.
"Show yourself Alasssstor." Pentious slithers.
"Come and face..." Pentious pauses for a moment when he notices Alastor absent from the freshly made hole. He then looks to see him sipping coffee on the balcony of the second floor.
"Oh there you are. Face my wrath!" Pentious exclaims.
Alastor sips his tea, "Who are you?"
"Who am I? Who am I?! I am the great Ssssssir Pentiousssss!" Alastor dissolves into fog as he descends to the ground, materializing aside Yn, Angel, Vaggie, and Charlie who are in the scene watching Sir Pentious's zeppelin.
"Inventor, architect of destruction, villain extraordinaire!" Pentious smirked.
"Ooh you tell 'em boss." The eggs bois cheered on.
Niffty appears on Yn's right shoulder, clearly starstruck, "Ooooooh, he's a bad boy.." Niffty smirks.
Yn pats Niffty's head as Niffty smiles widely and seems so free.
"Ha, well if all that's true, you'd think I'd have heard of you." Alastor crossed his arms.
"I attacked you literally last week." Pentious blankly stated.
Alastor cocks his head, "We've done battle, like... 20 times...once while you were on a date with-" Pentious looked at Yn as his whole demeanor changed, "HI QUEENIE!!!!" Yn wave back.
Charlie and Vaggie looked at her with a confused expression and then change their expression again looking back at Pentious.
"Well, you must have been really bad at this." Alastor noted as his blood slowly boiled due to how Pentious was speaking to Yn.
Sir Pentious' went back to his usual demeanor, "Silence! Now cower! For when I've ssslain you, the almighty Vees will finally acknowledge me as their equal."
Niffty picked up from Yn's shoulder, "Ooh! Wait, who are the Vees?"
"Oh, nobody important." Alastor smirks. Yn nodded her head in agreement.
Vee's Headquarters-
A large crowd is in front of a store as they watch an advertisement on the tvs facing the window showing off a spy drone.
"New VoxTek designer voyeur scopes, Peeping on the neighbors has never been more stylish. VoxTek! Trust us with your money!"
Crowd immediately enters the store and stampedes out with boxes with voyeur scopes. then cuts to random people watching their computers laptops and phones, and reveals their eyes signifying the work of hypnosis.
"This week's episode of "Teah, I Fucked Your Sister, So What?" is brought to you by VoxTek. Trust us with your entertarment!"
A tv demon starts tapping his fingers in a large room with tvs showing off numerous consumers as "trust us" repeats and overlaps. electricity courses as Vox stands up from his chair laughing maniacally from his viewer's consumerism. Vox had a ring around his left ring finger, it had both a sun and moon engraved on it.
"Muhahaha! Now that's good television!" Vox laughed as he heard his phone ding, he checked it as he groaned.
Suddenly his screen-face shifts to reveal an icon of Velvette, another one of them Vees, signifying she's calling, with a clown horn ringtone. Vox puts his phone down. Vox courses the call from his screen to his hands via his electric powers and transfers it to one of his many screens to reveal Velvette in her studio, her hair into a large ponytail. Vox then sits down on his chair.
"Hello there, Velvette! How are you this hellish morning?" Vox crossed his legs.
<Oh, cut the shit, Vox. I need you up here now!> Velvette exclaimed.
Vox looks to one of his screens as he gets his coffee cup and drinks from it, "Whatever could be the problem, my dear?".
<Your little boy toy is wrecking my apartment, while I'm trying to pull together a show and...> Velvette pauses.
Off-screen we see several workers running and screaming, and objects being tossed, as Valentino is heard cussing. "FUCKING BITCH!"
<Just get your ass here! NOW! Damn it Valentino!> Velvette yelled.
The call ends, and Vox's smile fades away as he gets up, sighing, fixing up his bowtie. He quickly texted on his phone before shoving the phone into his pocket.
"Oh god. Here I go, Valentino. Just another fucking day with Val." Vox walked to a platform with a forced smile, "Hey hey hey. Fuck my life." Vox had a dead expression as the platform raised up.
An elevator with a smiling Vox with the world bubble saying trust us!', before opening to reveal a frowning Vox sighing, and putting on a smile for a crowd of reporters that overlap one another before pointing their microphones to him.
"Mr. Vox! What are your thoughts about the new extermination deadline?" A reporter asked.
"When is Yn coming back on the program? People miss her fashion show & competitions!" Another reporter asked.
"My dear people! We at VoxTek Enterprises have always been at the forefront of innovation. And now, with this new oncoming threat, we are shifting our focus, to your protection. We are pleased to announce..." Vox ignored the second question, answering the first.
The screen zooms to him and an ad featuring the VoxTek logo, now gold and with angelic wings, with the tagline reading.
"VoxTek Angelic Security is coming soon! Trust us, with YOUR safety." Vox forced a smile.
Vox uses his left eye to hypnotize the crowd the same way as his consumers. Vox's manager quickly rushed up to Vox.
"Uh sir, when did we begin working on Angelic Security?" The Manager asked in a soft voice.
"30 seconds ago." Vox speaks in a strained voice as he walks off, "Try to get that bitch Carmilla on the books and cancel all my appointments today. I have a fire to put out upstairs." Vox noted.
He then morphs his body into electricity and generates itself into the security camera on the wall.
Velvette's Studio-
The staff cleans everything up as she looks to four designers holding up dresses to show her.
"Ugh. No. Unacceptable. You're fired. What is this? WRIST RUFFLES?! Is this 1750?! Burn it like the witches who wore it!" Velvette groaned, "UGH I miss babycakes.. She was the best fucking designer I ever had." Velvette rolled her eyes.
As she sends the designer away, Vox appears next to her, "Velvette! I can see you're busy. Tell me, where's our hot headed friend now.?" Vox looked around.
"Up in his room, waiting for a flat-faced prince to calm him down!" Velvette noted.
Vox sighs, "And uh, what's got him so out of sorts today?"
"Who knows?! But he tore up my second best model! And you know, the show can't wait for that unlucky bitch to pull herself back together! Melissa! Get over here!" Velvette yells.
Melissa gets onto the platform, and Velvette uses her overlord powers to change her outfit one after another until she spots the one she wants. "No. No. Hideous. I want to die. Eww." Velvette gasps, "Yes! That's the one."
"Ahh, looks like you have everything under control here." Vox noted.
"Of course, I do! Fuck you!" Velvette flips him off, "Now shoo! Take care of the piss baby!" Vox goes upstairs and is greeted by two moth demons who open the door for him. Once he enters.
He finds Valentino sitting on his couch surrounded by a fog of red smoke. When Val notices Vox, he sits up with fury in his eyes.
"Fucking FINALLY!" Val throws his drink, "Kitty! Another drink!" The Robo Fizzie next to him nods as it quickly heads off screen and reappears with the drink.
"Ugh! Can you believe what that piece of shit did? THE UNGRATEFUL WHORE!!!" As he speaks, he tosses the drink at Vox, who moves away making the drink, hits the door, and shatters on the floor.
"Uh, which whore are we talking about this time?" Vox questioned, crossing his arms.
Valentino gets up, "Fucking Angel Dust!” He walks up to Vox, "Who the hell else would I be talking about?!.." Val walks past him, "..fucking SLUT walked out on me!" He turns to Vox, "ME! I fucking made him!" Vox walks a little way away, "Without me, he's just a bag of meat with some mildly entertaining holes."
"Oh! Angel quit?" Vox sounded surprised.
"NO! He didn't fucking quit! It's worse!" Val takes Vox's phone, "He MOVED!!!"
As he says that, he tosses Vox's phone to the wall making it shatter in half. Vox seemed pissed about that, that being his only communication to his girl.
"He thinks he can just walk in here, work, and then go home somewhere else? Can you FUCKING believe that?!?!?!?!" Val walks to the closet, "He thinks he can run off and shack up with Lucifer's BIMBO daughter!"
"Angel is living with Lucifer's daughter?.." Vox paused and smirked.
"YEAH! That BITCH Chuckie or Chandler, or I dunno. Something manish like that, she's got this hotel and..." Val stopped.
As he speaks, he opens the closet full of guns, drugs, and pictures including a poster of himself. Valentino brings up two long pistol guns: a long revolver and a semi-pistol.
"Which of these makes me look sexier?" Val turns to the closet. (The pink one obviously)
"Heh. What are you doing, Val? You're not going over there." As Vox speaks, his left eye starts its hypnotizing spell, but Valentino is busy loading his guns.
"That slippery twink is gonna remember who owns him. I'm gonna FUCK everyone *except Yn* in that rancid shit hole, I swear to god!" Val starts.
Before he finishes, Vox grabs him by the collar and shoves him to his face, clearly furious.
Vox's voice was distorted, "VAL..." He calms down, "Hehe. Think about it." Vox then walks Valentino towards the window, taking one of his guns, "Our brand is... perfection. And what do you think chasing whores around town will... do for our image?"
"Um....fuck it up?" Val replied.
"Right! Do you want people thinking you can't control your employees?" Vox questioned.
"No!" Val exclaimed.
"Exactly! And hey, you still have him under contract. He isn't going anywhere! SO.. you should.." Vox waited for Val to get it.
"Do nothing?" Val questioned.
Vox smirked, "Great idea! Now that's why they pay you the.." He pinches Val's cheek on his face, "Big bucks."
"Ugh. But I really wanted to shoot someone." Val whined.
As he speaks, Valentino gets a cigarette holder, and Vox lights it with his electricity powers.
"Well, lemme call up the lowest earners this month." Vox walks to TVs.
"Ohh, you know me too well." Val chuckles and blows smoke, "Ya know.... Angel isn't the only one spending time at this Ratty Hotel with the devil's princesa..." Val smirked.
"Oh? Who else is there? Someone who, owes you money?" Vox smirked.
Valentino chuckles, "Someone who owes us much more than money and someone very dear to us... the Radio Demon and babycakes is there..." Val smirked.
Upon hearing those words, electricity courses through Vox's head, and he scratches the desk so hard it leaves scratch marks. Vox made small ominous chuckles before turning to Valentino, two red lines appearing on the left side of his lower lip.
Vox's voice was distorted, "What did you just say?"
"You heard me." Val smirked.
"Alastor.." Vox walks to Val, "came back..and he is with Lucifer's..." Vox glitches, "..daughter and and not only that, but he's with our Yn? And that wasn't the..." He grabs Val by the collar, "FIRST FUCKING THING YOU TOLD ME?!!"
Valentino frees himself from grip, "Hey! killing Alastor is your kink and Yn existence is all of our kink."
As he speaks, he walks to the desk and turns on the television. Vox teleports to the center screen, which is a recording from a VoxTek Voyer scope.
From Drone POV-
Yn chuckles softly and Alastor using his powers to attack Sir Pentious zeppelin, laughing as he hears Pentious screaming.
"Arrgh! Oh! Please! Stop!" Pentious cries.
"Um...Alastor! I think he's had enough." Charlie noted.
"Nah. He's got a few more hits in him." Angel added. As much as it was entertaining, Yn whispered in Alastor ear, "I think he's had enough Al." He looks at her than back to Sir Pentious who falls from the zeppelin in front of Alastor, face first on the ground. Alastor twirls his staff.
"Thanks for another forgettable experience." Alastor smirked.
An Egg Boi falls and breaks into pieces in front of Charlie.
"Thank you... for letting your guard down!" Using his tail, he grabs a bit of Alastor's suit, "Haha! Yah! Oh, shit..." Pentious' eyes widened.
"That was a mistake little snake~" Yn warned. Sir Pentious looks up to see Alastor's shadow transform in front of him. The next shot shows a massive green explosion as Sir Pentious is seen flying off to the city screaming as he disappeared from sight.
"Well, it looks as though I need a visit to the tailor! Would you care to join me my dear Yn?" Alastor asked extended his hand to her.
"Of course and maybe we can get some tea." Yn takes his hand, "Best of luck, chums." Alastor waved. as he holds Yn's hand.
"Wait, you're LEAVING?! Alastor! We need your help! We need you to do your job." Vaggie yelled.
Angel Dust gestures to the hole on the wall, "We need a wall."
Alastor sighed, "Of course! Can't let my new project fall into disrepair already. What would the papers say?!" With a snap of his fingers, black ink demons appear with construction tools as Alastor walks away. Angel takes an interest and looks at one of the larger muscular demons, shoving Vaggie away as he walks up to him.
Angel Dust giggles, "Hey, sweet cheeks. Whatcha doin' later? I love me a man with a giant...tool."
The screen zooms out to reveal Valentino scowling at the current events, leaning his face against the screen.
"See?! Look how he flirts with that guy, and he's not even paying! Who is that? I'm gonna fucking kill his whole fucking family while fucking Yn in front of them! Vox?" Val slams his fist on the table, "VOX!?"
Vox was paying little attention, as his left pupil turns into a tilde as he eyes Alastor leaving, his appearance static and out of focus as the screen becomes a bit static. He glitched rapidly at seeing Yn with Alastor.
Vox glitches, "That FUCKER is back! AND HE'S WITH YN?!"
Valentino grins as he realizes the situation and walks to him, "Yeah! I thought he was gone for good too!"
"It's been 7 years!" Vox clenched his fist.
Valentino leans up to him and pinches his cheek, Vox clearly pissed to care.
"You still pissed that she almost beat you and "took" Yn from us that time?" Val smirked.
Vox grumbled, "Uh, FUCK YOU."
"Just saying." Val walks around him.
"Things have changed a lot since he left town!" Vox clenched his fist, "THAT'S for sure." Val smirked.
"I gotta send a message of who's REALLY in charge of things now!" Vox's face fills the screen as Valentino laughs in the background.
Vox grins as he marches to his chair.
"~Welcome home! I'm gonna make you wish that you stayed gone!~" As Vox sang, electricity courses through his arm as he sat down, and turns to face the numerous screens.
"~Say hello to a new status quo.~" Vox presses a button, and cords latch themselves to the plug-ins on the back of his head, connecting himself with the tv networks. "~Everyone knows that there's a brand, new daren, turn the TV ON!~"
"Camera, speeds, rolling in three, two..." The director counted down.
Chorus: "Welcome to the Show!"
"~Top of the hour and we're discussing a certain had-been who has been spotted cavorting around town after a seven-year absence.~" Vox had a horrible drawing of Alastor as he snapped to be on a night-late tv show with himself.
"~Did anybody miss him, did anybody notice? More on tonight's program. So, the Radio Demon is back in town! Why is he hanging around? What does that mean for your family? Well, handily, I've got good news!~" Vox appeared in front of a red curtain now.
"~He's a loser, a fossil, and I don't mean to sound hostile~" Vox now appeared on multiple TV's and each dressed like a gospel choir. With the words 'Obey N' Pray'.
"~But the demon is a coward! You can take that as gospel. Pulling my viewers? Impossible! I'm visual, he's barely audible! Stop giving him the time of day! Don't listen to a word he'd say. Hope he had a nice vacay! But he should have stayed away!~"
While Alastor finishes getting his coat tailored. He notices the crowd watching the advertisement of Vox. Yn noticed as well as she frowned a bit, Alastor noticing this. He smiles and walks away with an idea, pulling Yn along. as Vox continues singing.
"~While he hid in radio, we pivoted to video! *pulls out a deer head* And now his medium is getting bloody rare! Hell's been better since he split. Where's he been? Who gives a shit?!~"
Guts to Alastor making his reappearance, as he starts his radio broadcast from the Hazbin Hotel as he puts YN on his lap.
"~Salutations! Good to be back on the air. Yes, I know it's been a while since someone with style treated Hell to a broadcast. Sinners rejoice!~"
"~What a dated voice!~"
"~Instead of a clout chasing mediocre video podcast.~"
"COME ON!" Vox exclaimed as he paused hearing Yn's laugh, "YOU FUCKER..."
"~Is Vox insecure, pursuing allure? Flitting between this fad and that. Is nothing working?~"
"IGNORE HIS CHIRPING!" Vox yelled.
"~Every day he's got a nere format!~"
"YOU'RE LOOKING AT THE FUTURE! HE'S THE SHIT THAT COMES BEFORE THAT!~" Vox exclaimed.
"~Is Vox as strong as he purports.? Or is it based on his support? He'd be powerless without the other Vees!~"
"Oh, PLEASE." Vox crossed his arms.
"~And here's the sugar on the cream. He asked ME to join this team!~"
Vox grumbled, "Hold on!"
"~I said no, and now he's pissy! That's the tea.~" As Alastor continued with his radio broadcast, Vox was getting so pissed that his screen face was starting to glitch with anger rising.
"~You old timey *Glitches* PRICK! I'll show you suffering!~"
"~Uh oh, the TV is buffering!~" Vox couldn't handle his anger, causing him to overload his circuits with static electricity.
"~I'LL DESTROY *Signal breaking up* Y0000U LITTLE.....~" The camera head could not get anything loaded, and Vox lets out an outburst that overloads everything from the TV screens to Valentino and Velvette's phone to everywhere in Pentagram City, causing a citywide blackout with the exception of the Hazbin Hotel.
"~I'm afraid you've lost your signal. Let's begin.~" Alastor smirked as he slowly turned into his true demon form with every sentence. His arms wrapping around Yn.
"~I'm gonna make you wish that I stayed gone! Tune on in. When I'm done, your status quo will know it's race is run! Oh, this will be fun!~" Alastor makes one last evil laugh before cutting off Vox's signal throughout the city, leaving the Overlord dismayed that Alastor is still popular and powerful than last time plus he had Yn on his side.
"FUUUUUCK!" Vox yelled.
Vee's Meeting-
Vox, Velvette, and Valentino are at a table together discussing a matter about Alastor as a Robo-Fizz, Kitty, passes out drinks to each of them.
"We have a problem. Alastor is getting close to Yn and little princess Morningstar, so our main concern now is ensuring that no deal is ever struck between Lucifer's.." Vox slams the table, "BRAT, and that smiling freak! AND HIM STEALING OUR BABYCAKES!"
Velvette paused before taking a deep breath, "Well, how exactly are we supposed to stop them?" Valentino was putting so much glue on his revolver to decorate with glitter and marbles.
"Put something inside them. That's how I get the bitches to behave." Val smirked.
"Well, maybe someone on the inside isn't such a bad idea. Do you think Angel would?" Vox crossed his arms.
"That lanky prick won't even return my calls." Val sighed.
"We need someone who Little Miss Bleeding Heart would take in." Vox grumbled.
"Someone... pathetic, desperate, with no direct ties to us?" Velvette noted.
"I employ every down on their luck loser this side of Hell. Who the fuck is left?" Val questioned.
Vox scoffs, "I think..I have JUST the one."
As Vox slowly turns around, his right-hypnotic eye gleams with a sinister grin for a plan he has in stored but before they could do anything one of Vox employees comes into the room.
"Sir!, The crimson queen is here she is waiting for you in the guest room." He said out of breath informing the Vee's.
After hearing that all three stand up wasting no time and sprints towards Yn.
While the Vee's were on their way. Yn is smiling and hugging old friends and coworkers who work or used to work for her. Every demon there loves seeing her when she came by to the studio, she would always bring gifts for them and I mean ALL of them.
"How have you been?!" "What is it like living in that Hotel?" "How come you don't come so often?" "Did you come here to see us?" A lot of questions were thrown at her. She couldn't decide who to answer first.
Doors slammed open revealing Velvette who makes it there before Vox or Valentino. She scans the room until her eyes land on Yn's.
"BABYCAKES!~" she shouted.
"Hi Velvet-" Velvette jumps on her with a tight hug.
"It's so great to see you again! It hasn't been the same without your lovely presence." Velvette held on to her tightly.
Yn chuckled hugging her back signaling everyone in the room to leave them alone for a moment.
"It's nice to see you to Velvette." Yn chuckled hugging her back, signaling everyone in the room to leave them alone for a moment, "Did you get the new clothes I've been sending you? I hoped you like them."
"Like them? I LOVE them!" She smiled. She lets go Yn and hold her arms.
"Sit down sweety, I've been dying to see you again, how you've been? Did you come to see us?" Velvette gestured to the couch, as the sat across each other "or did you come here for something more~" she said teasing as she ran a hand on her on her leg under her dress. Yn blushed that the thought but clear her throat.
"No~, I just came here to bring you guys some gifts and have a word with-" the same doors Velvette came though slammed opened again with Vox and Valentino finally showing up.
"Vox." Yn frowned as she crossed her arms. Velvette looks at her for a moment wondering why she looks upset. Vox notice her expression change when she sees him.
"Hey Yn! What brings you-" He is cut off as glowing fc with fancy chain appears around his neck with a lock. Vox grunts as he falls onto his knees, Velvette takes a photo while Valentino bites his lip with a blush. Yn yanks the chain causing Vox to get dragged up in front of Yn, he chuckles nervously and looks up at Yn.
"Sit." She order him with glowing eyes. He does as his told not wanting to upset her more.
"Val, Velvette, could you two please wait for us outside, i like to talk to Vox alone for a moment." Yn said with her tone sounding dark at the end of her sentence. This made Vox nervous hearing her say it like that.
Valentino and Velvette do as she said, looking back to see a now frighten Vox looking at them with a 'please don't leave me' expression, Velvette took another picture with a thumbs up and Valentino had a sweat come down his forehead and both the Vee close the doors behind them.
Both of them put a ear on the door to hear what's happening inside. Now it was just Vox and Yn in the room.
"Do you know why I came?" Yn asked
"Ummm... No...? Heh..." Vox replied.
"Because of yours and Alastor's little "fight", all electricity across the Pride Ring has cut off!" She tightens her grib on the fc chain..
"Your screw up has cost me alot of money! These little shits will soon start complaining and rioting because of what you did, flat face! And we do not want that." Yn lectured him.
"Baby relax, look if money is the problem here don't worry about. Whoever you are getting your money from I can give you-" Yn interrupt him. Not letting him finish his sentence.
"You know I never take your money, nor will I ever. You are missing the point of this conversation Vox, your little 'fight' cause me money and I'm not okay with the fact that you still pick fights with Alastor." Yn said. Vox seemed annoyed hear the Radio freak's name coming from her mouth. He then gets up and pass back and forward in front of her.
"Ah here we go again with Alastor, you know  ever since you moved out, all I hear from demons is how 'close' you and that radio freak are getting. you know how that makes me feel?!" Vox argued. His screen glitches at bit as he looks at Yn with a distasteful look.
"Don't go pointing fingers on me Vox, I wouldn't have moved out if you and those two didn't try to put a 'spell' on me 3 months ago" Vox flinched with guilt at hearing her mention that, but he didn't make it noticeable to her. Val and Velvette had the same guilt look on the faces outside the room hearing their conversion further.
"Oh please, it's wasn't like the end of hell, it would have been great for us and knowing you,-" Vox claimed crossing her arms. He takes out his phone looking at something but is soon broken by a fc fly hair pin thrown his way.
"you would have liked it. It wouldn't have been that bad.-" Vox looks back at her to see a now teary Yn, Vox froze didn't say another word.
"Here I was hoping maybe we could fix our relationship and start over, but I guess nothing changes." Yn said, her head hanging down not showing her face. Vox tries to get close to her. But she stops him by holding her hand in front of him, stopping him on his tracks.
He wanted to hold her, apologize, anything to comfort her. But Vox was one who didn't know when to admit his wrongs or apologize at all so it was no surprise that he didn't dare show that to her. For someone who is a dangerous powerful and deadly overlord. Only he, the Vee's and anyone that's part of her harem are the only one who can see this side of her, her vulnerable side.
Yn got up from the couch, walk towards the door, not looking at Vox as she passed him. She stops in front of the door, "I'm leaving now, I'll be back in 2 weeks with the next transfer." She than opens the door seeing a guilty ears dropping duo trying to pretend they weren't listening.
Valentino walks over to Yn and caresses her whole body. Sensing his Babycakes is hurting, "There, there Babycakes~ I'm sure someone like you can forgive and forget our little problem~" Valentino in his weird way trying to stop her from leaving.
"As I said I won't be back until 2 weeks so take care of things here, yourselves as well." Yn said getting out of Val's grasp walks out of the building.
Vox, Valentino and Velvette stand there watching Yn walk away and out of the studio without looking back but not before she said her goodbyes to everyone she came across.
After she was gone from view, Velvette expressed changed to a pissed look, "Damn it Vox! Yn sure as fuck won't bang any of us any time soon because of you and that smiling ass!" Velvette groans loudly.
Vox just stood there wondering, why do I always fuck shit up, first he lost a fight with Alastor, and now he just hurt the love of his afterlife.
Back at the hotel-
Yn and Alastor make it back to the hotel while Alastor went upstairs satisfied, Yn sat next to Angel Dust laying her head on his chest fur while he was on his phone and he rap his arms around her.
the ink demons are currently fixing the hole in the wall as Charlie and Vaggie than returns. Charlie throws herself onto a couch, exhausted.
"Soooo? How'd it go?" Yn smiled nervously.
Vaggie sighs, "Not a single new recruit."
"'Yeah well, who would wanna use their last days not fucking and fighting?" Angel Dust groaned.
As Angel checks on his phone, Vaggie hears a knock on the front door. She walks over to it and opens the door, only to find Sir Pentious holding his hat.
"Why, hello my dear.." Sir Pentious is cut off by Vaggie punching him in the face.
He falls when Vaggie brings out her spear at him. Sir Pentious cowers in fear with the tip barely at his neck, and holds a peace sign gesture.
"Wait, wait, wait! I come in peace." Pentious cried.
"What are you doing here?" Vaggie asked. Charlie and Yn appears behind Vaggie, "Vaggie, what's the problem?" Charlie gasps, "Oh! Hello again!" "Pentious?"
"I didn't come looking for a fight. I uhh.. I heard that you're helping people, people who want to be better?" Pentious questions.
Charlie lets out a gasp and runs over to grab his hand and leads him to the door of the hotel.
Charlie gasps, "You heard right! Welcome to our home of healing, our resort of restoration, our..." Angel Dust appears from the door and cuts off Charlie, "Are you fucking nuts? This chump was trying to kill us like literally 6 hours ago! And now you wanna bring him in here to live with us?"
"Absolutely! This place is about second chances, and who deserves one more than this slithery... slippery. special little man!" Charlie forced a smile.
Angel turns to look at Yn and Vaggie, "Aren't you two supposed to protect this place?" Charlie gives Yn and Vaggie puppy-dog eyes, begging Yn and Vaggie to give Sir Pentious a chance to live in the hotel. Yn and Vaggie gives in as she sighs.
"I guess he's not much of a threat without the war machine." Sir Pentious' cobra head lifts with anticipation, "Or even with the war machine. Plus I guess Yn is here to make sure he doesn't do anything." Sir Pentious' cobra head flaps down with depression, sighing.
"Sure! I don't mind looking after him." Sir Pentious smiled.
Charlie was so happy that she hugged Vaggie, lifting her up in the process and twirling around once.
"Oh! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! Sir Pentious! Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" Charlie leads Sir Pentious to the door inside of the hotel.
"Oh no darling! Thank you! You won't regret this." He smiled sweetly as he slithers next to Yn.
Angel follows soon afterwards, "Eh, I give you a week, tops."
Charlie gives Sir Pentious the tour of the hotel, introducing Husk to him, the wall he blew up before it was fixed.
"So, this is the bar and the bartender. This is the curtain, and this is the new wall after you broke the last one, heh, and oh! Oh! This is the-" Charlie paused as Vaggie grabs Charlie to calm her down again, "Babe, you don't have to show him every detail."
"No." Charlie squealed.
Angel Dust put his arm around, "Uh, what the hell are I then?"
"you're an important part of our family here too, Angel, but you uhm, uh..." Charlie thought.
"Constantly make us look bad, sexually harass the staff, and have literally never once tried to improve?" Vaggie bluntly said.
"What she means is, it's just nice to have someone interested for once." Yn smiled.
As Charlie comes back to Sir Pentious, Angel Dust was having doubts, looking a bit upset at everything Vaggie described him to be. Nifty was playing Keekee with a string when Charlie and Sir Pentious approached them. Keekee hissed at the sight of Sir Pentious and scatters away while Niffty turns around to meet him.
"Over here we have our maid Niffty." Charlie gestured to Niffty.
Niffty gasps, "The bad boy is back!"
Niffty gets up on Sir Pentious and holds his collars, looking at him with insanity in her red eye and a very sadistic smile, which creeps out Sir Pentious.
Niffty spoke in a creepy whisper, "Never leave me again."
"We're about 80% sure she's harmless, and over here we have..." Charlie nearly bumps into Alastor, "Oh! Uh, Alastor! Our gracious facility manager! You've met our newest guest Sir Pentious... hehe.."
"Ah yes! You're the one who ruined my coat!" Alastor's eyes glow red in the dark with a violent temptation to rip him apart as Alastor spoke in a sinister tone, "I definitely remember you now."
Sir Pentious gulps nervously.
"Well, I guess this is a great time for your first lesson!" Charlie clears her throat, "How to apologize!'... The first step to becoming a better person is to admit when you are wrong, why don't you give it a try?"
Sir Pentious took a minute, "Yes. uhm.. Mr uhm.. Radio Demon sir, please forgive me for attacking you and ruining your very lovely coat.. uhm.. Here." As a token of apology, Sir Pentious hands back the small fabric he tore from Alastor's coat.
Alaster takes it and inspects the damage, "Ah-Ho! Not many people have been able to take even this much off me, it must have meant quite a lot to you."
Despite being generous, Alastor burns the fabric tear in green flames, leaving Sir Pentious and Charlie stunned.
The group gather around for a introduction with Sir Pentious. "You obviously know Yn, somehow, but that's not important! Yn is also our facility manager and entertainer along with Angel Dust." Charlie smiled, "Now, with a new resident, I think it's important we all get to know each other! So we are going to play a little game. Everyone, follow me."
"My name is Charlie!" Charlie claps twice, "I like to sing!" She claps twice, "and when we get to know each other it's the greatest thing!" She claps twice.
"My name's Sir Pentious" He claps twice, "I like to build." He claps twice, "and despite my stupid Egg Bois, I think I'm very skilled!" Pentious claps twice.
"My name is Yn." Yn claps twice, "I like to dance," She claps once again, "And if an Angel dares to hurt you..." She clapped twice again, "They will meet their end." Yn clapped twice more.
When it was Angel's turn, he looked disinterested, looking up from his phone, "This is stupid." Angel Dust stated.
"This is not stupid!" Charlie claps twice, "It's just a game!" She claps twice, "Sir Pentious did it well so now please try to do the same!" Charlie claps twice, seeming annoyed.
"I am too sober for this." Angel Dust groaned.
"Well, get used to it and learn how to play, this is gonna be your whole day!" Vaggie smirked and clapped twice.
Next the group try role-playing with Angel Dust wearing a trenchcoat and a hat while he reads a script. Sir Pentious was also role-playing as an innocent child wearing a sailor suit, licking a lollipop. As Husk was an unattentive parent for some reason. Husk didn't mind, he'd got to drink with Yn as she pet his fur.
"Oh, I'm a bad man on the streets who never got enough hugs, now, where's an innocent kid I can sell crack to?" Angel Dust paused, "Wow, who wrote this.?" He whispered.
"Who do you think?" Yn question Angel.
"It's great right? Keep going!" Charlie squealed.
"Hey you." Angel called.
"Who, me?" Pentious pointed to himself.
"Yeah, you look like a kid who could use some... devil's dandruff??" Angel groaned, "Oh, for fuck's sake."
Yn paused her petting Husk's fur, looking at Angel with a chuckle. Husk stopped his drinking looking at Yn waiting for her to let him again.
"Not me! I have to go home and study!" Pentious stated. Husk twitch his ear touching Yn hand, Yn catching on what he wanted she had a small smile on her face and continue to pet him, which caused Husk to purr quietly.
"Come on kid, it'll make you cool like me...the crackhead." Angel dully said.
"The only cool thing here is to say no to drugs! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to not have sexual intercourse before marriage!" Pentious smiled.
Charlie stands up and claps, "Yes! Oh bravo! Bravo!" Charlie chuckles, "Wow Pentious! At this rate, you'll be redeemed in no time."
"I... I'm going to bed." As Angel heads back up to his room, he overhears Charlie congratulating Sir Pentious.
"I am so proud of you Sir Pentious! That was amazing!" Charlie cheers.
"Thank you! Thank you! You like me! You really like me!" Pentious smiled.
"Good Job, Pentious." Yn smiled.
"Awwww!! Thank you!!!" Pentious hugged Yn.
Yn backed up from the hug and rushed Husk who was drunk, thinking about Yn petting him again later.
In Angel's room, Fat Nuggets is asleep on his bed until Angel accidentally throws his coat on top of him. Fat Nuggets grunts and crawls out of the coat as he watches Angel lie down on his bed. Angel looks at his phone and sees all his voice mails from Valentino. Angel sighs and begins to play them. Valentino's voice mails switch back and forth between a friendly, apologetic tone and a barrage of screams threatening violence.
Valentino's Voice Message:
"Angel baby, come home! It's not the same without you here, I miss you! Come back-"
"ANGEL, YOU BITCH! IF YOU DON'T COME HOME, YOU'LL BE FUCKING GREASY TRUCKERS FOR THE NEXT YEAR-"
"Hey, amorcito, I didn't mean to yell, but you know hore crazy you make me-"
"YOU FUCKING SLUT!"
"Hey; Angie! About earlier-"
"-KILL YOUR WHOLE FUCKIN' FAMILY!"
"Work's really stressful!"
"-LITTLE COCKSUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!"
"[dead serious] You actually think you can change? Addict trash like you doesn't change. I'll see you soon, baby."
Angel sighs as Fat Nuggets gets on the bed next to him.
"Sorry, not now, Fat Nuggets." Angel sighs sadly.
Angel gets up and leaves his room with Fat Nuggets looking worried. Angel goes to Husk's bar and starts drinking alcohol. Then he notices a slithering noise. He finds Charlie's office door opened, and takes a peek inside.
There, he discovers that Sir Pentious is setting up a small camera in one of the bookshelves, a camera that belongs to Vox. Angel realizes what he was doing and slams the door open.
"You slippery little shit!" Angel yelled.
Sir Pentious screams.
"You're working for the Vees? I fucking knew there was something shitty about you." Angel Dust narrows his eyes.
"I don't know what you're talking about!.. whore bug!" Pentious shots back.
Angel was ticked off, and tackles Sir Pentious on the ground. He punches him in the face before wrestling with him.
"Get your aggressively average body...OFF OF ME!" Sir Pentious's eyes spiral hypnotic powers to him.
Angel becomes hypnotized, "Fuck!"
Angel backs away. He then quickly snaps out of it. He now has Sir Pentious cornered. Right then, Yn, Charlie and Vaggie woke up after hearing the scuffle.
Charlie yawns, "What's going on?"
"It's too late for anything." Yn said who was still a bit sleepy.
"This little bitch is a traitor!" Angel Dust gestured to Pentious.
"Preposterous! I would never betray you. You... are my best friends!" Sir Pentious hugs the three girls.
"Uh huh, then explain this!" Angel Dust smirked. Angel lifts off one of the books to reveal a camera, much to Charlie's shock. Sir Pentious realizes that his cover was blown scurries away.
He brings out his wrist watch to make contact with Vox.
"Ah! Ah! Abort! Abort! S.O.S! Agent Pentious in need of immediate evacuation!" Pentious sounded nervous.
Vox immediately picks up.
"Pentious? Wait... you were caught?!? It hasn't even been a day!" Vox laughed.
"Please! You've got to get me out of here!" Pentious begged.
"I can't believe we thought you could handle even something this simple. Do us a favour, if they don't kill you, go ahead and do it yourself! You miserable failure!" Vox hung up.
Sir Pentious was crying, "I... I... just make it quick I guess.. not that I deserve it." Sir Pentious lies on the ground, with Vaggie holding a spear ready to pierce the skull.
"Gladly." Vaggie smirked.
Right before Vaggie could put him out of misery, Yn stops her. "Whoa. Let's not jumps to murder straight away."
"Yn's right. We're not killing anyone." Charlie smiles and starts singing.
"Pentious?" Sir Pentious looks up to see Charlie reaching out for him.
"~It starts with sorry, that's your foot in the door~"
"~One simple sorry, spoken straight from your core.~"
"~The path to forgiveness is a twisting trail of hearts!~"
"~But sorry is where it starts!~"
"~Who could forgive a dirtbag like me?~"
"~I don't deserve your amnesty.~" Angel comes with dual Tommy submachine guns in both hands with Vaggie tailing behind with her spear.
"~Can't we just kill him?~"
"~Shoot him and spill his blood?~" Yn stand in front of Pentious. As Pentious' eyes sparkle.
"That's an option you could choose." Yn answered.
"~Works for us.~" Yn puts her hand out to Pentious who takes it immediately.
"~But who hasn't been in his shoes? It starts verth sorry.~" Charlie added.
"~Sorry.~"
"~Dig down deeper and say one sincere sorry!~"
"~I'm so sorry!~"
"~And your journey's underway!~"
"~It'll take time to cover your/my vast multitude of sins, But sorry is where it begins.~"
"~It starts with sorry.~"
As the song ends, Niffty was also awake, but she was disappointed that Sir Pentious isn't whom she thought he would be: a bad boy.
"I hated that song! Why are you so lame?!" Niffty kicks him on the body and walks away, 'Not a bad boy'."
Charlie happily sighs, "Good first day! Let's get some rest!"
As Charlie and the others except Yn leave with a wrist watch communicator still in the office, Yn looks back at the watch and then to the dark hallway.
"Alastor be a dear and please get rid of the trash in here, goodnight." Yn said as walks away to head back to sleep.
Alastor appears from the shadow of the dark hallway with a smile. He comes and picks up the watch before contacting Vox on the watch.
"WHAT?!?" Vox yelled.
Vox paused when he realized that it was Alastor who was calling him, showing fear in his screen face as Alastor laughed evilly.
"You'll have to try harder than that next time ol' pal!" Alastor smirked.
With a maniacal laughter, Alastor crushed the watch with his bare head, and the only sound Vox makes was a raging scream before Alastor retreats back into the darkness.

I wonder how old Fiona and Sasha were when they became orphans.
In Debt or Alive, it's mentioned in Fiona's thoughts that their parents were murdered, but when this happens isn't made clear but I think based on context clues from both Tales and Debt or alive it can be figured out at least a little bit.
To start with we know from using the echo eye to scan them that during the events of Tales from the Borderlands Fiona is 29 and Sasha is 24. Inside the caravan you can scan a photo of the pair when they were younger and the echo eye determines it to have been taken around 15 years ago, so now we know that they were both 14 and 9 respectively at the time of that photo at least.

By this point the girls and Felix had already become a family and seemed quite close to it's reasonable to assume that a decent bit of time had passed and I think there's a bit more evidence towards this in chapter two when you're exploring Felix's safehouse.
One of the things you can find in the safehouse is yet another photo of Fiona and Sasha as kids but something important to note is that they are wearing the exact same outfit as they were in the other photo, minus Fiona's shirt. This isn't too surprising since they're poor and likely couldn't afford a lot of clothing so they'd have to reuse them quite often, but it's important to note how aged the clothing is in one of the pictures.
The photo in the safehouse is the earliest photo we have of them, you see that their clothes are clean and don't have any signs of wear and tear, whereas in the photo in the caravan they're dirty, look slightly faded, and Fiona's hair is shorter. It also looks like the clothes fit them better, with Sasha's hoodie not slipping off her shoulder and Fiona's jacket looking shorter on her so clearly they've grown more in the time between taking these photos.

So considering all that I'd wager that at least a year passed between those two photos, so that puts the ages down to 13 and 8 and so I'll use that as the base assumption of the age they met Felix.
Now in Debt or Alive you see a little bit of when they met Felix for the first time, unfortunately no age for either of them is stated (damn you Anthony Burch, why won't you make this easy on me), with Fiona mentioning that she's not sure how old she is. But knowing that Fiona doesn't remember how old she is and the fact that they're fairly capable at pickpocketing already, I think it's safe to assume that it's been a while since their parents died and they've had to fend for themselves.
When Felix asks Fiona if she doesn't have any family she doesn't seem to have an emotional reaction, which you'd expect her to, if the trauma was still fresh. So based on all this, and the fact it's been long enough for Fiona to lose track of her own age, I'd wager they'd been orphans for a few years at least by this point so I'll put my estimate at around 3 years which would make the age they lost their parents around 10 for Fiona and 5 for Sasha.
Now obviously this is just me trying to estimate based on the few bits of information we have so it's nothing concrete, but if I'm right that means that Fiona began raising Sasha when she was only ten years old herself, and even then it could have been even younger than that due to Fiona saying in Tales that it had just been only her and Sasha for a long time.

...So what I'm saying is that Fiona DOES in fact win the "sister of the year" award, everyone else pack up and go home, the prize is therapy and a lot of it.

Octobie Week 2: Anarchy Just a little drabble for this week '3 Pairing- Hobie x OC this week 'D (Couldn't squeeze out more. Was planning a drawing for this week but a sudden burst of desire to write has consumed me full and quick.) Brief Background - So, my oc, and her universe is in a type of dystopian world where only the people who are born rich keep getting more and more rich and powerful while the people below will never stand a chance truly, being kept in such chaos so they will never remember, get stronger, to trouble any of the "ELITES BORNS". The elites are tight-knit too, but also have tight rules that they made even their own kinds follow strictly, and very rarely that one survive from the pack if they defined the rules. My oc, Angelina, is born an Elite descendent whose family is kinda a feared outcast. Their family defies rules and even advocates the people who are not elites to defy them as well. Also support and try to make the people's lives and the society better even if it's a little bit (The irony of them being able to resist the elites this strongly is because their family has a long line of private military and the control of weapon trading businesses, which made them an essential among them. But in Angel's father's hand, to simply put how the family business stopped, "You know what. I tried the peaceful path first but you guys killed my *adopted* brother. FUCK YOU AND YOUR MOTHERS. I'm burning you all if given a chance.)

Also, Angel is a Spidersona who now uses the mantle of prowler more often. She still has her organic webs, and she still uses them to have swinging dates with Hobie- but she doesn't like being associated with spiders (especially Peters) after being killed and resurrected. (Her universe Peter is not really that great. He's one of many main factors that caused her death.) She mainly uses magic weapons like her pa :D

EAT THE RICH It's an old saying that originated from the French Revolution and is used by many people who have taken the mentality of anarchism to this day. EAT. the "RICH". When Hobie said it in front of his lover, and her dad who is a great inventor with such generational wealth but even joined him in the chant, and their family who... support him fully despite their power hold and background? (It's a weird family, he knows it when he gets in head first, but they were kind enough...?) He didn't expect her to take it as literally... "You're telling me..." asks Hobie to Angelina slowly, to take in fully of what he's about to say. "That you killed a bunch of big politicians... and fed the meats to... who!?" "My babies!" Angelina answers with a beaming smile, looking all too prideful to drench her limbs in the blood of said people. "Crowley did not mean literal babies," her brother, Felix, chimes in while working on a project near the conversation, and so does her pa(other dad :D). "We don't accept cannibalism in this household," says her pa as he tries out a new magic spell he had just found from an old grimoire. "At least not with those degraded meats." "Then what babies?" Hobie can't help but ask. "My... babies!" She replies with an emphasized voice as if he will just suddenly get the enlightenment of what she truly means. But she did catch her own mistake quick and pointed at the big aquarium behind him that has a wide variety of colorful fishes. "And hey, I'm not a meanie." She proclaims herself with a huff and a proud grin that is a bit terrifying, considering the situation. "I ground the meat to the softest pulp form I can get and mixed it with their normal diet so they won't get sick from the "treat". I also fed to the strayed animals too, no worries." It rendered Hobie a bit speechless, to hear her say all of this like it's nothing special and/or horrifying process. He's almost used to his partner's uncanny and abnormal thought processes but to see her commit one? She can always surprise him in ways he has never thought possible... "... And the reasoning?" asks Hobie quietly with a sigh. He just can't... help it, like how he fell for this bumbling idiot. And one thing he knows for sure about his love is... she would never do things out of irrational or unjustifiable excuses, no matter how the execution is. She sort of means well, almost always. It's just the acts that weird out the people who weren't around this strange family enough. And she does give him the answer immediately, with a brightening, childish smile. "Those pigs tried to legalize underage marriage in their state for the child trafficking shit they're covering for." "...Blimey, tell me you gave all in to torture those bastards." "Hell yeah! Started with making my men slice their dicks and balls off into thin strands with a bloody dull knife while keeping 'em fully awake."

Saltburn: an ode to all the weirdos in Greek Mythology
If Anyone But You is a modern remake of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, then Saltburn is a clever culmination of elements from Greek Mythology. The film borrows imagery and symbolism from the island of Crete to hint at the underlying themes of ambition and the class system that mark the film.
In order to understand the references, you’d have to know about the minotaur, Icarus and the labyrinth. 
On the island of Crete lived another one of Zeus’ offspring ( honestly, at that point, who wasn’t one of his offspring). Minos, the king of Crete, is an objectively terrible dude, but to cut a long story short, he was supposed to sacrifice his prized bull to the sea god Poseidon but decided to keep it for himself instead. Now the gods just so happened to be the definition of petty bitches, so in the most Greek Mythological way possible, Poseidon cursed Minos’ wife to fall in love with the bull. Their torrid affair (yes, she slept with the bull) resulted in a monstrosity that is the Minotaur- half man, half bull, complete nightmare fuel. 
Minos commissioned Daedalus to make a complicated maze to trap the monster. Sacrifices were sent into the labyrinth to be killed. Among them was Theseus, who, with the aid of Minos’ daughter ( who fell madly in love with him), managed to be the first to escape after slaying the Minotaur. Minos needed a scapegoat to pin the blame on (there’s something about a ball of yarn, and as I said, Minos is just a terrible guy overall), so he turned to Daedalus. He then proceeded to have him and his son locked up in a tower that overlooked the Icarian sea (I don’t know why he was so upset- I’d kill for a tower away from everyone with the bonus of a sea view in this economy). Daedalus, being the incredible inventor that he was, fashioned two pairs of wings out of wax so that he and his son could escape. Drunk on freedom and fueled by the recklessness of one’s youth, his son Icarus paid no heed to his father’s warnings and aimed for the sun. The heat melted the wax, sending him plummeting to his death, much to his father’s dismay.
Ok, so now that you have a gist I can begin to explain how a story about beastialty and wax could find its way into a movie that possibly single-handedly increased bathtub sales. 
The story carries themes of bloodshed, cannibalism, imprisonment and fear. One can view the family as the people sent to die at the hands of the Minotaur, or in their case- Oliver—the seemingly random costumes and decorations, like the horns Oliver wears, further aid the parallels. The maze (or Labyrinth) holds a statue of the Minotaur in its centre, under whose gaze Felix falls into an early grave. The cannibalism aspect also gives a more suitable explanation for the infamous bathtub and vampire scenes.
Felix’s character alludes to that of Icarus: naive, reckless and the companion of a tragic fate. In a way that’s almost jarringly in-your-face, the party scene further brings out this parallel in the form of his seemingly low-effort costume. The golden wings stand out against the rest of Felix’s understated outfit, thus tying together the symbolism in a neat package.

The French artist Felix-Joseph Barrias, since he painted this work 46 years after the composer's death, may have used an account of Chopin's dying moments that was conveyed to posterity by Solange, George Sand's daughter and the sculptor Clésinger's wife: "One October afternoon in 1849, on the 16th, around twenty people were apprehensively waiting in the drawing room […]. Chopin wanted to know whether Countess Potocka was also in the drawing room and if she would like to sing closer, the door was wide open, and the beautiful countess started to sing. She was singing with her heart broken, with a voice full of tears! The people in the room dropped to their knees, choking back their sobs.”
The refined lady in white, standing by the piano, is probably Countess Delfina Potocka, who, according to tradition, sang the song "Pieta Signore" (Have Mercy Upon Me), which at the time was attributed to Alessandro Stradelli and is now attributed to the 19th-century composer Niedermayer. At one side of the bed, on the left next to a nun, Solange herself is kneeling; at the other side of the bed, Chopin's sister Ludwika is holding the dying composer's hand; in the foreground to the right, Marcelina Czartoryska, Chopin's pupil, and further at the window, Father Aleksander Jełowiecki, the painter Teofil Kwiatkowski (he left a series of beautiful pencil and watercolor sketches representing Chopin both at the piano and on his death bed) and Wojciech Grzymała.
Two Swedish researchers, Cecilia and Jens Jorgensen, argue that Barrias created the painting in collaboration with his pupil, Countess Winnaretta de Polignac (1865–1943), Edmond de Polignac's widow and a philanthropist and patron of artists and scientists. She was the daughter of Isaac Singer, the inventor of the sewing machine. Reportedly, he wanted to name the first model of the sewing machine he constructed after Jenny Lind (1820–1887), an eminent Swedish soprano singer and, since Hans Christian Andersen dedicated one of his fairy-tales to her, also known as the Swedish nightingale. She met Chopin in 1848 in London during one of his last tours in the city and was intending to marry the composer.
Two weeks after the artist's death, she arranged and paid for an extremely ceremonious funeral, which started with a mass held at l'Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, during which she sang arias from Bellini's opera. In 1851, she met Countess Winnaretta de Polignac, and it is possible that they made a decision together to commission a painting that represents Chopin in his dying moments. We know a little about how the work was created, but we know that it was the property of Countess Winnaretta, and later Count Campofelice. According to the Jorgensens, the woman that the painting represents in white while standing at the piano is not Delfina Potocka, but Jenny Lind.
