Happy Valentines! 🌹

A massive happy love day to all my beautiful friends! Valentine’s Day in Colombia is actually celebrated in September but Bruno gets to be spoilt with it twice a year! 🤭💋 Hehe! So I thought I’d share with you moments from our last Colombian Valentines below! 🥹⏳💫✨

Bruno surprised me with a horseback ride to our favourite spot (the ride didn’t go quite as smoothly as he intended! He’s still rusty! 😂) Art by my amazing friend @hectic-hector 🥹💚💫

Scar Kisses

Pancake has gone through a lot. Very obvious from the scars littering her body. Whether it be silly things, like falling off a ladder, to more serious, like getting attacked (because necromancer and ghosts), she's covered in them. So much so she's often treated as a shield. As a hardened worker. A tank. She can take the hits, she'll come back to life. She'll be fine. So she's used to people treating her harshly.

Then Starlo flipped that around. Seeing and hearing her tales of what happened from her teen years to now. It's no wonder she's hardened and sassy, she's been through a lot. So he treats her differently. Soft, kind. It startles her at first, but she accepts it soon after. Nowhere has she ever been treated this softly. This reverently. From gentle holds to kissing her scars, showing his appreciation for her hard work. And asking her to rest. Another thing that's a bit foreign to her.

This whole thing, this gentle treatment and not expecting her to be a hardened person and work as much, makes her appreciate and love him more

for anyone who has an f/o with a canon/suspected/headcanoned trauma disorder;

just know they're so grateful for you. all of the effort that you put in to take care of them when they have their bad days. all of the time you spend making sure they know they have you to lean on, the hours you take out of your day to help them through an episode or assist in grounding them or making sure they know they're in a safe space, they appreciate everything you do.

they're so happy they have someone as wonderful as you in their life to help them! you can't even imagine how much they cherish the little things you do, like checking in on them, offering to make them some tea or get them water after panic attacks, helping them come back to earth when they're struggling to stay in the moment, all of those things and more they think about often.

they know they have such a reliable person in their life. they don't take anything you do for granted and love you for everything, especially for the safe, loving space you offer them.
