"Free Assange-LKW" kommt nach Berlin

Gestern wurde auf auf der Mahnwache und Demo für Julian Assange vor der US Botschaft am Brandenburger Tor verkündet, dass heute und auch am Wochenende der  "Free Assange-LKW" aus Ulm nach Berlin kommt.

Freitag, 3.2. vor dem Brandenburger Tor an der US Botschaft wird die Streetaction, die dort seit einiger Zeit jeden Freitag von 12-18 Uhr stattfindet, gegen 14 Uhr Besuch vom "Free Assange LKW“ aus Ulm bekommen.

Auch am Wochenende wird es dort Aktionen geben. Ansonsten gibt es zu Assanges Fall und zur möglichen Auslieferung bisher nichts Neues. Der High Court hat noch nichts verlauten lassen über die Annahme oder Nichtannahme der Anträge von Assanges Rechtsanwälten.

Dagegen war das "Belmarsh Tribunal“, dass am 20.01.23 in Washington D.C. mit hochkarätigen Teilnehmern stattgefunden hat, doch in vielen Medien. Jede/r Interessierte konnte online teilnehmen. Die Veranstaltung von „DemocracyNow!“ wurde auch von ConsortiumNews übertragen und aufgezeichnet.

Es geht um „Pelican“ , die geheime, von der Metropolitan Police geleitete Operation zur Entführung Assanges aus seinem Asyl in der ecuadorianischen Botschaft in London, die im April 2019 durchgeführt wurde. Ein britischer Abgeordneter hat einem Minister des Außenministeriums vorgeworfen, das Parlament in Bezug auf die Beteiligung seines Ministeriums an der geheimen Operation zur Verhaftung von Julian Assange "in die Irre zu führen". Der Abgeordnete Kenny MacAskill, ein ehemaliger schottischer Justizminister, fragte das Außenministerium, "ob irgendwelche Leute, die an der Operation Pelican arbeiteten, in den Räumlichkeiten [seines] Ministeriums untergebracht waren".

Ginge es wirklich um die Verfolgung nach dem fast 100 Jahre alten Espionage Act, so müssten die Verantwortlichen dieser Medienhäuser auch in Hochsicherheitsgefängnissen sitzen.

DF aumenta participação no Fundo Constitucional do Centro-Oeste

Com o voto minerva do presidente do Condel, ministro do Desenvolvimento Regional, Gustavo Canuto, foi definido nesta segunda-feira, durante a 13ª Reunião Ordinária do Conselho Deliberativo do Desenvolvimento do Centro-Oeste (Condel/Sudeco), que o Distrito Federal contará com 13% do Fundo Constitucional do Centro-Oeste (FCO), em 2020. Essa porcentagem corresponde a R$ 200 milhões, é um aumento significativo em relação aos anos anteriores.

Representando o Governo do Distrito Federal, o vice-governador Paco Britto lembrou que na última gestão o GDF é não estava presente para defender seus interesses. “Até 2018, o Distrito Federal tinha 19% do Fundo. Mas por muitos anos o GDF ficou sem defesa. O resultado é que perdemos muito dinheiro”, afirmou. Por causa da omissão de gestões anteriores, o DF chegou a receber menos de 10% do total do fundo.

“Não queremos tirar nada de estado nenhum. Mas exigimos a devolução do que foi aplicado em anos anteriores. Queremos voltar a receber o que tínhamos direito anteriormente”, ponderou Paco.

Contrário à proposta, o governador do Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado, afirmou que vive “uma realidade dramática” é que o estado goiano não tem capacidade de investir, sem o repasse do Fundo. Assim como ele, o representante do estado do Mato Grosso também votou contra a proposta.

Na mesma reunião deliberativa, foram definidas também as propostas do Grupo de Trabalho de revisão da programação do Fundo Constitucional de Financiamento do Centro-Oeste; a programação FCO para o exercício de 2020; o calendário de reuniões do Condel/Sudeco em 2020; os critérios para a seleção dos projetos de investimentos e as prioridades para a aplicação dos recursos do FDCO, no exercício de 2020, entre outros.

Para a próxima reunião, a pedido do vice-governador Paco Britto, foi acrescentada à pauta a paridade nas representações de trabalho com outro representante do DF, com representatividade no setor produtivo.

Participaram do encontro o secretário-executivo do Condel e superintendente do Desenvolvimento do Centro-Oeste, Nélson Vieira; o vice-governador do Mato Grosso, Otaviano Olavo Pivetta; o presidente do Banco de Brasília (BRB), Paulo Henrique Costa, membros do Conselho Deliberativo do Desenvolvimento do Centro-Oeste; secretários-executivos federais; representantes de associações de prefeitos; diretores e assessores de federações dos estados do Centro-Oeste e outros convidados.

Novo presidente da CDR, Izalci quer fiscalizar fundos regionais

O senador Izalci Lucas (PSDB-DF) apresentou nesta quina-feira (14) seu plano de trabalho para a Comissão de Desenvolvimento Regional e Turismo (CDR), que inclui exercer a ação de fiscalização na aplicação de recursos públicos em programas de desenvolvimento regional. Uma das metas é estimular o turismo interno.

— Nós precisamos de uma política de Estado, uma renovação do Estado, um enxugamento, um desaparelhamento do Estado, que precisa ser mais eficiente e que realmente possa corresponder às expectativas da nossa sociedade, afirmou.

Presidente da CDR — eleito nesta quarta (13) — Izalci considerou de suma importância a aproximação entre a comissão o setor privado, por meio da realização de reuniões e eventos que permitam debater os assuntos pertinentes ao colegiado.

— Vamos promover aqui alguns seminários, vamos chamar aqui para discutir, não só a política, mas também a cobrança da execução dos Fundos de Desenvolvimento do Nordeste, também da Sudam, o fundo da Amazônia, o FDCO, do Centro-Oeste.

Segundo o senador, o brasileiro paga muito imposto e precisa ter retorno com relação aos serviços prestados pelo governo.

— Precisamos trazer aqui as universidades, os institutos federais, a questão do Centro de Excelência do Turismo; precisamos estimular também essa união, porque não se faz ciência, tecnologia e inovação se a gente não tiver realmente esse tripé e o Governo pode muito bem aproveitar o seu poder de compra, aproveitar também o conhecimento que existe nas academias todas e também os empresários.

O novo presidente da CDR mostrou preocupação com a questão do emprego e destacou a importância do turismo para a economia. Prometeu trabalhar com às agências e organismos de desenvolvimento regional proposições que tratem de assuntos referentes ao turismo. Também chamou a atenção para a importância do turismo em Brasília.

— Aqui é a capital da República. Nós temos aqui um museu aberto, com a nossa arquitetura moderna, temos também o turismo cívico, que temos de incentivar e implementar, criar estruturas para que todos os nossos estudantes de todo o País possam conhecer a sua capital, conhecer a beleza que é a nossa cidade — lembrou.
