A wonderful mix of serious and fun, romance and pain. Dealing with Death Eaters and crazy people while building new friendships and discovering the pleasure of love they are all far from bored.

Starts after 2nd Task of TWT going through their graduation. Settle in an enjoy the adventure.

he's so pretty! 😍 am i the only one who sometimes ships Draco Malfoy with Millicent Bulstrode? This version of Draco would be so cute with Millicent! ❤ Am I weird, or does anyone else ship it too?!

I also love to read about pretty boy Draco being paired up with one of my other favorite characters like Dudley Dursley, Pansy Parkinson, Astoria Greengrass, Daphne Greengrass, Tracey Davis, Katie Bell, Lavender Brown, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Cho Chang, Zacharias Smith, Marietta Edgecombe, Colin Creevey, Parvati Patil, Hannah Abbott, Percy Weasley, Theodore Nott, and Moaning Myrtle.

Drarry, Dronarry, Dronmione, and Drinny are also cute sometimes too, of course! I love all the Draco ships!

Fay Dunbar and wand

Character: Fay Dunbar Prompt: (Object) Wand

From a young age, Fay Dunbar knew what she wanted in life. She was determined to follow in her father’s footsteps: being Sorted into Gryffindor and becoming an Auror. After all, her mother and her father’s parents all told her that she was just like him with her blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Fay didn’t remember her father. He was murdered when she was a few months old. Her older brother, Kay, had a few memories. Growing up, she eagerly listened to any stories about her father.

On a cloudy day in April, Fay turned eleven and she received her Hogwarts letter. Her mother and her stepfather looked on with smiles as she opened it and read it. Her younger sisters, Cordelia and Emilia, smiled and barely paid attention. Honestly, Fay didn’t blame them. Cordelia was six and Emilia was three, and they were having waffles for breakfast. 

“When can we go to Diagon Alley?��� she asked, handing the letter over to her mother.

Her stepfather, Hamlet, laughed. “Next weekend,” he replied.

Fay nodded, feeling a little disappointed. When Kay turned eleven, they went to Diagon Alley the next day.

Nine days later, Fay was walking around Diagon Alley with her family. She went to the various shops to purchase her school supplies with Hamlet while her mother took Cordelia and Emilia to the children’s section in Flourish and Blotts. 

When they had collected most of her supplies, Hamlet led her back to the bookshop where he switched places with her mother.

“I wanted to take for your wand,” Jennifer told Fay as their pair walked to Ollivander’s. 

Warmth filled Fay’s chest and she nodded. 

They entered the shop. 

“Ah, Jennifer Steel,” Ollivander greeted. “Eleven inches, willow, and dragon heartstring.”

Jennifer smiled. “How can you remember that?” she asked.

The wandmaker merely smiled before turning his attention to Fay. “Which hand?”

“I’m ambidextrous,” she answered, “but I favor my left hand.”

“Just like your father,” Ollivander commented. “Twelve and one-quarter inches, cedar, and unicorn hair.”

Fay nodded, filing away the details of her father’s wand. That was something no one had mentioned before. She found herself hoping for a wand of cedar or unicorn hair.

After measuring her hand and arm, Ollivander started handing her wands to try. On the thirteenth try, the wand produced sparks.

Ollivander started. “Ash and unicorn hair, a rare combination,” he stated. “This wand will prove to be unyielding.”

Staring at her wand, Fay smiled. “According to my mother, I’m stubborn,” she stated. “I know what I want, and I won’t take anything less.”

Sometimes, Miss Fay Dunbar finds life simpler if she doesn't speak at all. Being a daughter of the main line of the Honest and Ancient House of Dunbar is exhausting. But she cannot abide a lie, and she will not allow anyone to slander Lord Harry Potter. His words rang true when he said he didn't put his name in the Goblet of Fire.

As a fact, it is assumed that 1,000 attend Hogwarts every year and there are 100 or more in the house selection, but Harry's generation was very small because of the wizarding war.

4. What do James and Lily think of their sons popularity?

I, personally, think at least one of them would be on the protective side but can't really do anything about it...unless they found a way to return as ghosts.

Since this seems to be an issue [not with you dear, in general] let it be known: I do not support J.K. Rowling in anyway. This au, this idea is for the fans by a fan who knows that HP is incredibly flawed and written by an awful person but someone who also is attached to the idea and what it could have been.

3. Oh man, I'll tell you now, everyone is divided.

Some are rooting for Cedric because in this crack au he and Harry got to know each other a lot earlier, and many think they are cute. They think Cedric is great because he really helps put Harry at ease and he is always great at bringing Harry's self esteem back up.

Some are rooting for Theo because they feel like Theo and Harry really understand one another and are very patient with one another. Hermoine feels like Theo brings out the best in Harry. When Theo's around, Harry tends to think things through more and Hermoine feels like he smiles more easily and is more open.

Some of course are rooting for Fred, especially Ron and George, because Ron thinks it's a brilliant way to have Harry as a brother and George because Harry and Fred make each other laugh. Plus, Harry has never struggled to tell the twins apart, and that is something so important to them.

Smaller groups are rooting for Daphne and Fay. Daphne because Astoria has never seen her sister so interested in someone like this before, nor has she seen someone actually listen to her sister as attentively as Harry has done when her sister spoke about her struggles. Fay because her friends are honestly so surprised something other than her projects and school caught her attention and they think they'd be cute.

Then there are the OCs who have the supports of their respective schoolmates, purely because friendship but like also...solidarity mf. They are in uncharted territory. They gotta stick together.

4. James finds it absolutely hilarious but is also a little put out that he was never this popular.

Lily is the worried one because, look, James may not have been as popular as their son but he was pretty popular, as was Sirius and Remus and the AMOUNT of schemes she overheard to win their affections was worrisome and concerning. The amount of love potion doused things she threw out without their knowledge was also something that lingered in her mind whenever they were able to peak into the living world and watch over their little boy.

They never thought about returning as ghosts. Therefore, never registered with the ministry, but they are spirits with unfinished business and can't cross fully until they know Harry is safe and sound. They go in-between passing on and limbo a lot. But since the Potters are descendants of the Peveralls and the whole connection to Death, James and Lily get a special privilege of being able to see into the living world and watching over Harry.

It takes a lot of energy, though, so usually they do this one at a time and catch each other up on what the other observed.

But yeah! I love Potter Family Opera asks! But I definitely will be sharing my other HP fic idea because man are some angsty. I'm a sucker for Harry dies and wakes up in the past and gets to things over and I want to try my hand on that. I also want to try my hand at Harry leaving the British Wizarding World because he's just done.
