Sorry for the rant but, i've been scrolling all batfam x daughter! reader content for a good while already and it baffles me how little contents it is about...exploring the whole stepcest potential. like it's right there.

i understand the appeal of the yandere platonic batfam and how boundaries can be pushed without romantic or even sexual undertones, because obsessive love can come in any form (and i admit it's interesting reading about a family being yandere just platonically, specially when the reader started off neglected), but c'mon. maybe its because i lean on the more freaky side of things and i know stepcest isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it still pains me. i've read some seriously intense, delicious yandere works filled of tension when i'm constantly waiting for it to end up on a kiss or some stepcest vibes..but nothing.

like, is it too much to ask to see some of the batboys getting freaky about their darling stepsis, using their position of authority as "brothers" to see how far they can go?

you're free to ignore this ask if this makes you uncomfy, i just needed to rant after my umpteenth attempt at finding stepcest with the yandere batboys

It’s fine, I understand, but just few things here

1.) insect is against my rules, now like overly clingy and slightly sexual or romantic undertones while remaining platonic is fine, it’s just crossing that line is a bit much for me. Now I absolutely love overly touchy content, like forced cuddles or kisses, the thing is a lot of my content is more angsty rather than creepy or fluffy, but I certainly would love to get more of the ladder for requests. Like I highly recommend this one fic, it has that overly touchy vibe and it may be what you’re looking for but it’s not quite stepcest.

2.) in my works daughter!darling is never neglected, in fact it is quite the opposite, she is never left alone. I have never written neglected!darling content, I know it’s a lot of people’s thing, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Now I definitely want to write content that has that clingy content without crossing that line, it’s just a very fine line and I am just figuring how to do that now via infantilization, forced affection with cuddles and kisses before bed, that need to be so close to someone that their platonic touches are also far to intimate to be considered normal, non sexual nudity, that sort of thing.

Now if you have any requests that fit into these guidelines then go right ahead, I would love to do those requests, it just cannot cross that line of incest.

As much as i love Dungeon Meshi, i do think that given Ryoko Kui's attention to realistic worldbuilding there ought to be a companion series called Dishes Meshi where they spend 2hrs washing and drying and packing away. Alll the goddamnfuck dishes they just made

What yan blogs do you like? Did you have any inspirations or something?

There are definitely a few that I REALLY like, like checking for updates daily because god knows I have too much time on my hands lmao. But when I do read I normally read fandom content in bulk so it really just depends on who updated and what my current hyper fixation is, but I do have a few constant favorites.

@yandere-wishes is required to be in this list, like one of my first mutuals and it tends to be that we share a wavelength on our current hyper fixations for fandoms. Like we both started to write a lot of DC content currently and I am so here for it. They were also one of my first tumblr blogs I followed before I even started writing so like when we became mutuals I actually cried, well not really cause I have constant dry eyes but still.

@lavandulawrites I love their genshin content, especially the Capitano content but that’s because I love that man. She actually wrote like my favorite genshin fic, which I highly recommend.

@jymwahuwu they have a bit more of darker content, which they state in their pinned post, so if you like that sort of content then I highly recommend their posts but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it is certainly mine when I want that darker vibe. I really like their Honkai Star Rail content (which I really need to start writing for) but I think they write a little Genshin content.

@couldeatthatgirlforlunch another DC author, probably one of the writers that sent me down the DC rabbit hole cause after I read some of their Justice League content I went to go dig up some of the old comic books that my dad gave me when I was a kid. I also really like the way they write Hal Jordan as a yandere and I really like my Green Lanterns so…

@lycheeloving I really love their Justice League/Batfam content as well, some of their content loosely inspired my own. I also love another LGBTQ+ author which is another reason I really like their blog.

@blughxreader their Batfam content is peak and their artwork is peak, I am pretty sure they are on break right now, but still go check out their content.

Then other blogs I recommend are @jessamine-rose @viridwns @yandere-writer-momo @yandere-daydreams @yandere-romanticaa @nikovraskol

I just didn’t have enough energy to write a paragraph for everyone because I am really sick right now and I am most definitely missing a few people but I will definitely update this list at some point 😭

finally posting my isatscryption stuff here!!! yipee!!! here’s a writeup about the card design because frankly i put wayy too much thought into all of these cards. sorry if these are a bit hard to parse!

unkillable and corpse eater effectively make sif immortal, since every time he dies, he’ll be placed back on the board! and i thought that was fitting for. y’know. timeloop reasons. brittle is only there to emphasize the whole constantly dying thing. because is it really isat without siffrin torment

also didn’t notice this until after i designed this card, but the brittle sigil art has a star on it??? not intentional in the slightest but it is Fitting

sif is a fox here! i know that that would technically put them in the canine tribe, but i felt it’d be more fitting for them to be tribeless? and base game inscryption already kinda bends the rules when it comes to tribes (such as the bullfrog being a reptile and the rabbit being treated internally as a rodent) so i think it still works

i’m well aware that card traits don’t actually have cool names or anything but i still want to give them cool names because it’s fun. anyways! cursebearer! i gave them this trait both because these sigils are extremely overpowered, and for lore reasons. sif sees their sigils as a curse! they don’t want to force them on anyone else!! it’s their burden to bear!!!

tangentially related to that last point, but sif is a talking card in this au! because it’s fun :3. and because i think it’d be really interesting to see how he’d react to the cabin

sif’s scar is covered by the hat a bit but it’s Star Shaped. and so is the eye shine teehee

this was the first card i made and Boy Does It Show. i had the WORST time trying to get the card generators to work for this because oops! both of the card generators are inaccurate in different ways! plus theres a few mistakes in the card art that i didn’t notice until after i finished most of the others... i promise the others are a little more polished

also, since i didn’t mention it above the cut, the sigil patch is for the bone king sigil! which makes the card award 4 bones instead of 1 upon death. this is less for lore reasons and more for the synergy with his sigils. since he’s constantly dying and coming back, he can basically give you infinite bones for Zero Cost. fun!
