Classic Zosan story...Except!

Personally, I like the Zosan idea of; regardless of who actually catches feelings first, Sanji, being the "love cook," is the one to become self-aware of said feelings first.

I'm thinking probably Thriller Bark/3D2Y would make it sink in for him.

But because this man has some of the worst self-esteem (excluding cooking ability) of anyone in One Piece, he just tsundre pines for the swordsman. Because he can't seem to picture anyone actually caring about him like that.

Zoro, on the other hand..... let's be real. Outside of battle, he can be one dense mosshead. I'm like 99% sure the guy doesn't really stop to think about things like romantic love. 100% that he only really turned on the platonic and familial love parts of his brain after becoming a Straw Hat. Guy was focused on being the Greatest Swordsman.

Since Zoro can be a bit slow on the uptake if he doesn't think he needs to understand something; i.e. knowing where "north" is, ocean currents, a person's past, etc. I'm pretty sure it would take awhile for him to 1) notice he felt something at all, 2) Realize it wasn't like what he feels for other crew members, 3) Figure out it isn't just annoyance/rivalry, 4) Eventually work out what it actually is(possibly with some help).

Granted there is always A LOT going on with the Straw Hat Crew, so having time to contemplate potential "feelings" especially when one may not realize there is anything to contemplate....

I'm thinking Zoro hits #3 on the way to Wano while the Sanji Retrival Team is dealing with Whole Cake Island. But only has the #4 realization with the Death Pact. Either during the call or upon waking up after battle.

TLDR: Low self-esteem romantic falls for his rival with the emotional intelligence of a mossy rock. Everyone suffers.

i know firsthand how confusing it can be being a teenage girl. it's all like "what style should i have?" "who even am i?" and it can be so overwhelming trying to define who you are as, let's face it, a literal child. we get so bogged down in what everyone else thinks, but what if i told you there's only one real person whose opinion we should care about - Christ.

now that's great to hear and all, but i'll admit, that phrase had me stumped for so long. like what does finding my identity in Christ even mean?? well, it's all about not being as concerned about your appearance and popularity, and just knowing that you are loved, valued, and cared for by God - you are His child.

in Ephesians 2:10, we're reminded that we are God's masterpiece. This means you are unique and you were created to serve a purpose unique to you.

stopping comparing yourself to others is definitely easier said than done, i get that. whether we want to admit it or not, everyone struggles with it, myself included. let's all take a step on this journey to independence and self-worth together.

some ways you can get closer to God are:

🕯 start a journal

🕯 surround yourself with people who bring you joy

my challenge for you this week is to spend just 5 minutes every day reading your bible. if you don't have one, there are some great apps you can download like the bible app.

remember, God loves you. He chose you. He created you. you are here to serve your purpose that only you can fulfil. choose to let light into your life today for a happier tomorrow.

I got a Toby Keith song stuck in my head and now I’m sad :( he was one of my fav singers growing up like I loved country music growing up my mum a huge fan and that’s just part of my childhood and listening to the older artists like Reba and Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith is nostalgic and I miss those days cause the new country singers they’ve had for like the past idk 6 years just ain’t it at all. Maddie & Tae are the last ones that I listened to they had a good song, and I did like Hunter Hayes in the beginning but now it’s just shit. But anyway when my mum and I was watching the people’s country choice awards Toby Keith was there in the audience and he even performed but it was a newer song and idk when it came out but shit had me crying my ojos out into my ice cream, even he cried I swear we all did but he didn’t smile often. He looked so tired and sad and it’s just hard to see him like that and it makes me really sad. I love Toby Keith and when he dies that’s just another person from my childhood and my memories gone and :( I’m really sad about it.
