Melt downs suck but the afterward is even worse. At first it feels better, you can control yourself again, your emotions are chill. But that lasts all of like a minute.

Then all the physical aspects come rushing in. Dis you hit yourself? Something else? You're gonna feel it. Did you cry??? Your eyes are so itchy and dry now also you've got a crying head ache. You never noticed but your jaw was clenched SO TIGHT the whole time and now it hurts so so so bad.

And while all this is happening, while you're noticing bruises or and wishing you could get up for an ibuprofen. You feel the horrible terrible guilt. You just acted like a toddler: scrwaming, crying, hitting things, hitting yourself, throwing things, whatever. You just threw a tantrum like a fucking toddler and you could not stop it. A change in plans, you couldn't find the thing you needed, it's too hot, too cold. Whatever triggered it a ""normal"" person wouldn't have reacted that way. But you couldn't stop yourself.

Did you hurt someone? Scare someone? Break something? What damage did you cause when you felt so so out of control? Can you fix it? (My cat is currently hiding under my table, when will she stop being scared of me I wonder)

at the top of the list is my elyaine much ado about nothing au, but i've also signed up for an event at the start of the year so that will take priority. i do also have many other ideas floating around, but they're the ones i'm going to try and focus on

Lmao I just got home from my old jr college (where I was preparing for jee) and I had to collect some certificate so like I didn't know what identity proof theyd need so I took the whole file (which has everything from my 1st grade report card to my birth certificate to my passport) and it's me and my dad in the taxi and I'm in the passenger seat cause like the place I was supposed to collect the certificate from isn't my college but another beach of the college, and like my dad had the file with him in the back seat. We get off, I get to the 23rd floor to get my stuff from the office and I have the certificate and shit I was going to put in the file but lmao where id the file? And me and my dad don't know how to panic ok we are two broken human beings? And then my mom calls me scrwaming on the phone that why is this taxi driver telling me he had your file wtf and she is so panicked and me and my dad are deadass laughing for some reason like wow we really almost fucked up huh

I wake slowly…everything feels fuzzy and hot. My head is throbbing. I shift in bed, glancing at the alarm clock. The view is unobstructed…she’s already up. I’ve overslept. I remember staying up late again last night, sodering the new engine prototype. I try to sit up, and groan as my head throbs and a wave of nausea sweeps over me. I feel the blankets being pulled back up to cover my shoulders.

“Hang on,” I say, groggily reaching out, “I’ve got work to do…” “Shh,” she says, “You need to rest, Darling.”

She smooths my hair away from my forehead. “You’ve got a pretty bad fever. You need to stop staying up so late everytime you get your hands on a new engine.” I grunt. I’m too tired to argue. At this rate, she’s right, anyways. She presses a cold compact to my forehead and leaves a glass of water for me.

“I’m off to work. I’ll see if I can leave a bit early. Try to take it easy today, Yusei.”

“Mm. Aki?”

“Yes?”

“I love you.”

She kisses my cheek. “I love you too. Get some sleep. I’ll be home soon.”
