Nintendo Direct Thoughts

NEW MARIO & LUIGI GAME AND IT LOOKS FUCKING GORGEOUS!!! Love how well they've not just maintained but enhanced that signature artstyle. Also the idea of the Bros getting straight-up isekaied like that amuses me.

DK Rerelease...well, at least it's something. And since they're including the 3DS levels it's technically a definitive edition so that's nice.

Loved that cheeky little bit at the end of the Dragon Quest III remake trailer "lol you really thought we'd skip the first two with a tagline like "the legacy begins?" anyway here's 1 and 2." Also it looks beautiful. Never been that interested in Dragon Quest but I might give it a shot.

Oh I can just imagine the crazy game breaks people are gonna pull off with that echo mechanic. I'm glad they made it partly a puzzle game, really fits with what most Zeldas are like.

Also I really like how Ganon looks in this artstyle.

Toriyama was apparently really reclusive, or at least made active effort to stay outside the public eye. I remember an interview from someone who worked at Squaresoft--I think it was Nobuo Uematsu but I'm not 100%--saying the closest contact he ever had with the man was standing outside an office while someone else went in to ask for an autograph for him. Feels right for Sakaguchi to honor him by inserting him in his game as a cryptid.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension demo now available - Gematsu

Publisher Square Enix and developer Mistwalker have released a free demo for turn-based RPG FANTASIAN Neo Dimension across for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam, the companies announced. A demo for the PlayStation 4 version is not available.

The demo allows players to experience the first few hours of the game, including the multi-dimensional battle mechanics, while beginning to solve the strange mystery of the world and protagonist Leo’s lost memories. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on December 5.

Fantasian Neo Dimension might be my Game of the Year when I beat. I love the battle system, music, story, cast, voice acting, graphics and the battle system. Also one of the harder games I have played in awhile. Which I'm fine with. I love figuring how to beat bosses by figuring out their patterns and weaknesses. I can't wait for Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition since I'm a huge Xenoblade fan. That's the only other game I think that can dethrone Fantasian as my Game of the Year
