I just think that they'd be the biggest nightmares (affectionate) for their masters. Not because they are bad students or jedi, but because they are so different from them.

Leia has caused so many political incidents with her aggressive negotiations that Obi wan is greying way to early.

Ezra is not only talented in finding Sith temples or artifacts, he also keeps on stealing the armor of the troops and bringing wild animals in the temple.

Luke's may look and act like an innocent bystander, but he is far from it. Asoka has to keep all of her eyes on him it he will wander off and find himself in a strange adventure after the other.

Thank you @avisisisis and @spacefinch for reminding me that my Nausicaa AU exists, I had completely forgotten about it haha. Here's a a dump of all the doodles I was doing for it!

Nothing super substantial so far, mostly loose designs whilst I tried to figure out who would be who, but hopefully, returning to my notes now, I can try make something actually finished for it!

Story wise, so far it's less of a beat for beat retelling of Nausicaa and more of a riff on the movie (using star wars stuff too ofc). I kinda split Nausicaa's role in two and gave it to both Luke and Ezra, although narratively Luke also sorta fills the role of Asbel. If I can actually get around to writing it i'm sure it would make more sense.

Oh yeah,,, and it's a little bit skybridger too (I can't help myself).

Also an accountability post for myself because I promised myself I'd have this finished by the end of the year. Every time I think I'm writing the last scene of this thing another scene pops into my head. But I swear to god we're almost done.

“We need to talk to Vah’nya,” Tro’owmis says evenly. “Thrawn.”

“Why–” Thrawn begins, but Sacher holds up a hand.

“Laezra and I aren’t allowed to talk to Vah’nya because the last time we saw her we, hm , peer pressured her into, uhh, life choices that she may not have otherwise chosen.”

“Allegedly,” Laezra adds, pointedly.

“They got her drunk,” Za’lea says, with all the blythe glee of every child in the universe when presented with the opportunity to shame their caregivers. “She threw up in our bathtub.”

“You shouldn’t know that,” Sacher moans. Laezra blinks.

“Why shouldn’t she– Never mind. Anyway, Un’hee said she’d murder us if we called for the next six months,” Laezra continues. “And I am a little bit scared of her.”

“And I,” Tro’owmis adds, “have met the woman once in my entire life for approximately fifteen minutes.”

“I suspect she tolerates me in respect for her friendship with Thelivan,” Thrawn says, but when faced with the rest of them glaring stonily at him he caves. “Very well.”

They all loiter just out of view of the comm terminal when Thrawn makes the ‘so you’re being forcibly recruited into the Jedi and we’ve already decided on your student’ call. Thrawn had argued for the efficacy of written communication, but Tro’owmis had met this with a five minute rant on the paper trail they absolutely cannot afford to leave.

“Someone tried to assassinate Patriarch Thurfian yesterday evening,” is the first thing Thrawn says. Laezra begins the slow slide from his chair to the floor under the table, which is where he’s planning to stay for the foreseeable future.

“Good afternoon, Senior Captain,” Vah’nya says, perfect professional courtesy.

“My associates were able to prevent the attempt,” Thrawn continues doggedly.

Faintly, from offscreen, Un’hee says “mistake.’

Laezra gives up on slow and hits the floor hard, curling himself around a table leg.

NEW AHSOKA THEORY!

What if Ezra isn't Ezra but an illusion and Thrawn knows that because Ezra is Enoch?

Like Thrawn just wants to send Sabine on a wild goose chase for the illusion becuase the Illusion was created in the force by Ezra to convice the nightsisters that Thrawn would be heir to the empire (even thouh he doesn't want to), and that him and Thrawn are enamies. So that when they have made it back to their galaxy, real Ezra and Thrawn deffet the nightsisters and go back to their respected homes, Ezra Lothal and Thrawn back to the Chiss Accendancy to be with Eli.

So when Ahsoka and Sabine return they are confused as Thrawn and the Empire and not at war with everyone. But imagine them finding Ezra back to Lothal with the loth cats on a Holocall with Thrawn begging him to meet the famous Eli Vanto he has been hearing about for 10 years. Like the converstion with Ahsoka and Sabine would be fuuny, something like this:

Sabine: I'm so happy your safe, but how did you get home you sort of just disapeared? Ezra: Yeah. So Ezra you saw was an illusion. I was really Enoch. Ahsoka: But how did Thrawn not realise? Ezra: Oh it was his plan to get me past the nightsisters. Hera: But why would he do that? Ezra: So that he could get back to his boyfriend quicker. Everyone, minus Ezra: WHAT!!! Ezra: Yeah some ex imperial named Eli Vanto, he deflected to Thrawn's homeplanet before he even knew about Thrawn. Ghost Anakin: I knew their was something fruity about him. Esspecily becuase of the way he talked about Vanto.
