#art from a while back #i played hk first and deepnest was like. the most uncomfortable ive ever been playing the game #mainly because its just so DARK #as for rw... when i got to shaded...... what the actual Hell #i eventually got used to just dying in the dark and exploring the first parts of the region but like. Why is it pitch black #i didnt even realize there was a path to the scav merchant at the first room..... i got to memory crypts before finding it in my next run #hollow knight #rain world #hk ghost #rw slugcat #rw survivor #artatat #?!?@?@?@?@ the alt text got removed for a sec Sorry about that im not sure why or how that happened #also im completely aware deepnest without a lantern is much darker but atleast it isnt pitch black. hello hello.. here's the complete reference for hifsamotud. the space thang! the supership! some more information below the cut

HIFSAMOTUD stands for Hollow Intercession, Falling Space, All Mundane Order Towards Unawakened Discovery (or simply Discovery for short, to refer to it as a whole) which is by all means.... a ridiculously long name! every couple words is meant to represent each of its minds.

originally, it was restricted to travelling a specific distance away from the planet - a taboo that it managed to break, along with rewriting its genomes in such a way that expanded its range of communication. it functions like a massive satellite for iterators on ground, allowing them to send signals to other iterators who would usually be out of their radius.

discovery is unfortunately not as large as a moon, but it's very fun to depict it as a gargantuan, otherworldly being that i think it would be perceived as :) in reality it is just very very curious about everything down below..

I originally wasn't planning on posting this, but my current drawing project takes way too long, so here it is!

Sans, or Pit as I named him, is from an AU I am currently brainstorming about. I was about to name it Masktale but it's already taken, I guess?

Anyway, it's inspired by a part of the plot from the Anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica and the story of Fontaine from the game Genshin Impact. So, yeah, the world/underground is not what it seems in this one. Nothing is, actually.

For a better understanding, Pit in this drawing is the same person... but also not. No, no one's soul got glitter glued together, there is also no Chara in control, it's just Pit/Sans... whatever remained of him at least.

When the child steps into his world everything seems to be normal, like the brighter side of this drawing, but there will always be a second side. Only one can be the truth. Right?

Kinda hard to explain this AU without spoiling the whole plot right at the start. It's in the very early stage of development anyway.

So, yeah, that's it for now.
