haikyuu is NOT realistic!!!! and it's not because of the underdog plotline or the insane athletic skill or funky character designs but because in the timeskip everyone gets a job that they are perfectly content with and more or less suits them to a tee and don't seem concerned for their futures whatsoever all before the age of thirty

I love your take on Crowley!
I know that the early, non-Diasomnia stories aren't really your thing, but are you reading the novels at all?
I have been following some of the fan translations and the second book seems intense! Would love to hear what you think about them.
thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.
that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

female characters who are like "sorry, i'm not that smart, all i can do is be your sword and shield and defend you with my amazing combat prowess. i hope you are not bothered by the fact that i have little tactical ability and am limited to using my beastly strength to stand by your side and enact your will. it's ok if you're disappointed in me i am also disappointed in myself" and don't know that a slightly meatheaded loyal weaponwoman with a heart of gold is one of the sexiest things it is possible to be

I don't think we talk enough about how Stargate's wraith aka space vampires had one of the most outside the box vampire powers to ever grace TV. Like kudos to whoever said "hey fuck it we're gonna take one of the most one dimensional villain races we've ever made which can very accurately be described as space vampires and just completely blow that idea out of the water with a single scene showing that they have miles more depth than you could ever guess".
I mean come on why am I not seeing more vampire fanfic where the vamp can give life in the same manner that they can take it?! It's such a groundbreaking idea in a trope that short of this the most recent big change of pace was glitter.
That single scene where it looks like Todd just killed John but then he turns around and gives him back more years than he took? Mwah chefs kiss. Possibly the most efficient story telling I've seen.
Anyway I support queer agenda that episode suggested and am eternally devastated that Todd didn't become a Teal'c level character but with extra gay because telepathy.

(Apollo Justice trilogy spoiler warning‼️)
I know Ema’s popular for being a hater, but I think it’s neat how she feel like one of the warmest, kindest characters in the franchise too.
Like, she always lets people use her equipment and teaches them how to use it, or straight up GIVES it to them if she has spares (which is probably just a byproduct of her love of forensics but hear me out), she considers people she knows through work like Apollo to be friends to the point where she’s actually hurt by him not wanting to talk to her when they meet again in SoJ, it’s subtle, but she empathises with him over the loss of his parents, and the way she consistently refers to him as a ‘kid’ (even as late as the SoJ credits) and a newbie honestly feels more irritating-older-sisterly than patronising in an offensive way. Like affectionate teasing. It doesn’t take much to convince her to let you perform informal investigations either — especially when her friends are involved, she’s often sympathetic to the people she arrests, she was surprisingly forgiving when Apollo both lost an entire corpse AND almost set her on fire within, like, an hour… she offered to share her Snackoos with Phoenix when an investigation wasn’t going so well and advised him to take a break even though they were technically on opposite sides, said she was proud of Apollo even though she’d only known him for a case and a bit at the time… and she has such a friendly smile! I don’t know, she just seems really nice and chill despite her grumpiness.

i know washingdad jokes are more of a fanon, musical thing but really. i genuinely believe in my soul that historical washington was the type of guy to hear his aides chant "we want mcdonalds we want mcdonalds" and silently enter the drive-through just to order one black coffee, no cream no sugar and leave.

One of my first experiences, upon no longer being in Israel and returning to my regular job as a teacher, is a student leaving a note in my classroom that says "Ms. --- is a Jew. No Jews. Hitler to come back." So you know. Really wish I was still in Israel or at least wasn't the only Jewish person at the school (teacher or student). By the way, I teach 6th grade...
