The fans: Ugh Sonic was just so preachy. I mean obviously he's supposed to be the good guy, so any uncomfortableness I feel here and any way I feel like Sonic's choices are framed as being why some other people have shitty lives is just bad writing because he is obviously supposed to be right always, but this characterization makes no sense. Isn't he right for the things he did?
Ian Flynn, using Kitsunami to say the (barely even at this point) quiet part even louder: Hey it's almost like ever since the Mr. Tinker event we've been purposely running with the critique of Sonic as being more selfish than he appears. Sonic is upholding a system of Eggman v Sonic that currently benefits him and shuts down talk of how to improve the current system because he likes his own personal enjoyment and he's attached enough to Eggman that he'd rather Eggman pretend to be a good person than be stuck in prison for life. He doesn't even quite practice what he preaches. We are trying to show that the current hero v villain system and Sonic's recklessness currently affects some people poorly and that Sonic isn't a perfect hero.

crashes ur board meeting n drags u out by the collar but its fine bc youre the one always saying shit like "im looking for people i can use" ok lol. get used idiot
#just tracing like. the sequence of events that had to take place in order for this to come to pass#1. natori and his shiki are skulking around homura stalking ban. possibly it's just his shiki and natori is elsewhere.#either way 2. natsume shows up and natori learns about it either bc he witnesses it or a shiki comes to tell him#3. natori gets in his little richard scarry apple car (this is my mental image for some reason) & fucking. BOOKS IT to the matoba compound#4. goes inside. presumably matoba lackeys try to stop him bc their boss is in an important meeting but somehow he gets past them#(possibilities here are v fun to think about. maybe natori does this all the time and they're used to it. maybe he's never done it before#but they're all on orders to let natori in if he ever shows up. maybe natori convinces them he's supposed to be IN the meeting#which is great because it sounds like some important clan thing so what is he in the clan now??)#5. interrupts matoba's meeting like 'i need you' and matoba's like 'bye everyone whatever this is is more important'#6. they get in natori's comical apple car (again the apple car is not canon don't worry about it)#& natori drives like a bat out of hell back to homura. (SOURCE: matoba is so scarred he refuses natori's offer for a ride later)#i wonder what they talk about on the way there? because they don't talk about why natori is stalking ban until much later#so they must be busy talking about something else. but what??#that or they're both too distracted by all the near-death experiences from natori's crazed driving lol#natsume's book of friends#natsume yuujinchou#homura cats arc#horrible exorcists#my posts#sidenote i feel like that page at the end where both matoba and sensei refuse natori's offers of a ride is really funny because#sensei's reason is that it will take too long. but sensei did you know natori drives like a speed demon? think it thru...#also like. how long did it take him to decide to involve matoba? was that his backup plan all along?#also it's pretty lucky that he found matoba at all considering he could be anywhere...the matoba have like 15 houses...#he has matoba's schedule memorized lol#natori sparkling to the assorted clan members in the meeting: sorry ladies and gentlemen i just need to borrow this~#*throws matoba over his shoulder and fireman-carries him to the parking lot*

Tim pays attention to Lief's words.
I see... I wouldn't conciser to call them "nerds" too, they are just "Pokémon with a high level of knowledge" if I was you. So, Livingston and...well...you might not recall the name, but it's the Meowstic, right? I know one Meowstic personally, but he is not one of them, haha...unless...
Tim pauses in a bit and goes somewhere. Some time later, he returns with the books. He puts them on the table.
Here, it's the limited edition of my latest revision of my research book called "The Wonders of Pokémon". As you can see the cute book cover made by one of our students. Also I brought three: for you if you're interested of course, for Livingston, and for this Meowstic. Oh, I think someone from my volunteers told about one of this Meowstic from the "Folks from different universes" section. Lemme read this... "when i was in "lunala realm" i saw a meowstic who seem to work here. he is blue, covered with stars and has floppy ears. he has a green glowing orb 'n' cape. i named him "starry" because he didn't told me my name." I hope is the one you have described.
Tim attempts to give those books to Lief, but he soon realizes that he forgot to put something.
Oh, right... I should write something about you too... Let me just...
Tim brought his laptop and printer. He opens a documents software and types this:
There was a young man who visited my home. He is a hybrid of two Pokémon. He has a ribbon on his back and has long ears that points to Sylveon... However, his fur is yellow plus an antennae on his head. Also there's wings on his back too, which leads to Ribombee. Also his name is...hmm...can you please tell me your name?

Maybe this doesn’t need to be said, but Im feeling awful about it, so -- to any mutuals that might notice Im not following them anymore, I'm sorry about that. I've just seen too many posts on my dash that I have no way of blocking because they're not tagged in any way and they're distressing enough it's turning one of the only places I considered a safe space not safe for me anymore. So for my own mental health, I had to unfollow. I Will refollow in the future and I still love y'all, but I just-- I can’t. Ive been noticing some very worrying stuff about my mental and emotional state and it's just too much currently. I hope it's at least an understandable decision, and I wish y'all are having a good day out there 💗
#personal#I know its important to keep up with current events#but life overall's been a bit too much for me lately#I should prob go back to my therapist#I haven’t seen her since I went back to uni#for one because I didn’t know my schedule when we last meet and we both thought this should balance me#finally having purpose again and doing what I actually enjoy#but I also don’t have a job now so its costs and... I don’t know#but I probably should now that Im thinking maybe its time to actually get medicated for real#tho first maybe I should just visit my family doc and ask for those vit d supplements my therapists talked about#see if thats gonna be enough#autumn (and winter) has always been an awful time for me in terms of mental and emotional health#but it feels even worse these days#like Im battling against depression every day recently and rarely anything works to distract me#which is why its been hard to get back to peels in dms and such too#I was meant to meet with a friend now that Im studying in a city she lives in but I have yet to get back to her#and it feels like I have not only Zero but like Negative energy and motivation#+ Ive been dealing with an upset stomach for Weeks now#no matter what I eat it feels weird and achy and barely anything tastes good for me already so now its even worse#anyway this turned into such a rant Im sorry#I just didn’t want the lovely peeps Ive been mutuals with for a long time to think I stopped liking them or smth#its just certain untagged posts that I would otherwise block if I could#and I dont wanna impose onto anyone like a 'rule' to tag them or whatever#so yeah this is just temporary#hopefully at some point I get better enough to survive the couple distressing posts heh...

#my new job is like a damn dream btw#i'm not getting paid as much as my target was but it more than makes up for it in really good work culture#and tons of employee engagement/amenities that are just fucking Nice#not that i utilize most of this but: cafe with free food and drinks. 24/7 on-site gym access. very flexible work schedule.#frequent free food events#discounts on sport/concert tickets/ski resorts/etc#unlimited PTO. tuition reimbursement. volunteer support (can take time out of your work day to do volunteer work while still getting paid).#my manager's ethic is: don't care what hours you work as long as you're here at the morning meeting and get all your work done#basically as long as i communicate i can work 7-3 or 8-4 or 9-5 or whatever suits my personal schedule#and i am allowed to leave when my work is done. no sitting around twiddling my thumbs trying to look busy#if all i have left is data analysis i can leave early and do it from home if i want#i can set up my work so that i can work from home once or twice a month. something i never thought I'd be able to do as a bench scientist#its so amazing compared to anywhere else I've worked#i'm sure it's laughable compared to the super wealthy pharma companies but those are evil places so i'm happy with this#ALSO i get regular raises and a merit bonus every year#just...wow what a great place to settle down for a few years

It's kind of impressive that every time I try to get.more than 6 hours of sleep, something happens that means I cannot.
#em.txt#vent#negative#like I don't think my family is doing it on purpose. but it's constant.#sometimes they want me to go to an event#or they need me to run an errand or meet them somewhere for something important#other times they're doing work on the house. runnning laundry next to the head of my bed.#today? it's a surprise meeting that means I need to kinda babysit these kids#like I don't think they know my sleep schedule is ass. they hardly know anything about me at all#so they don't know I'm trying to fix it or that I'm so fucking tired.#so there's no way they can be intentionally trying to make it worse#I'm pretty sure at least. also that's not their style. they're a bit inconsiderate at times but that's too malicious

'you have insomnia so you can stay up later to let me in right?' girl. i have insomnia. which means it'll take me 2+ hours from the moment of ATTEMPTING sleep to actually achieve it. that means if i start trying to sleep at 11pm, earliest it'll happen is 1am. if i start at 1am, it'll be 3am. can you see the problem here. if you do not get your ARSE through that DOOR
#in a wild turn of events there is a random girl staying over at my flat tonight#which is not a problem bc ive always made it clear since coming to uni that my flat is the Go To for ANY stragglers#like there is no adult presence here and when a lot of my friends live locally with strict indian households that's usually a godsend#so im used to people crashing on my sofa as and when and i dont mind it i LIKE IT#so when i went out tonight with my uni mate and her hometown friends (just the friends she knows locally from the city)#one of them was like 'oh im going to meet someone but if i come to yours at like 11pm could i stay the night?'#and she made it clear id really be helping her out and i was like babe it's literally not a problem#and she was like 'are you sure? i feel bad making you wait up for me!'#and my uni friend was like oh dont worry she's an insomniac she'll be up until 3am anyway#and now this girl has taken that to mean she can stay out later like it's 11:30 and she's still not here#and im not trying to mother her but also I CANNOT ATTEMPT TO GO TO SLEEP UNTIL YOU GET HERE#AND THE LATER THAT IS THE MORE FUCKED I AM#BUT IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN THAT TO SOMEONE WITH A NORMAL SLEEP SCHEDULE#SO IM JUST SAT HERE LIKE AN ANGRY PARENT WAITING FOR THEIR TEENAGE DAUGHTER TO MEET CURFEW#hella goes to uni

Understanding the Power of Personalized Countdown Timers
Countdown timers have transcended their traditional role as mere timekeepers; they've evolved into dynamic tools that wield a profound influence on our emotions, behaviors, and perceptions. Let's delve deeper into the significance of personalized countdown timers and uncover why they're not just ticking numbers but powerful catalysts for creating memorable experiences.
Definition and Purpose:
At its core, a personalized countdown timer is more than just a digital display ticking away the moments. It's a customizable tool that allows you to tailor the countdown experience to suit the tone, theme, and objectives of your event. Whether it's a vibrant visual display or a subtle reminder, these timers serve as digital storytellers, setting the stage for what's to come.
Importance for Event Planning:
In the realm of event planning, where every detail matters, personalized countdown timers play a pivotal role in shaping the attendee experience. By incorporating these timers into your event promotion strategy, you can effectively build anticipation, generate excitement, and foster engagement long before the event unfolds. From sparking curiosity with teaser campaigns to creating buzz on social media platforms, countdown timers offer endless possibilities for enhancing the pre-event journey.
Psychological Impact on Participants:
Beyond their practical utility, personalized countdown timers tap into the psychology of anticipation, leveraging the innate human desire for anticipation and excitement. Research has shown that the anticipation of an upcoming event can heighten emotional arousal, increase engagement levels, and enhance overall satisfaction with the event experience.
