Ares, god of warriors, ally of those who risk their lives on the field, to you do soldiers offer their prayers. You know each one’s name, O Ares, you know their lives, you know their worth. Great Ares, I pray to you, watch over ____________ who heeded your call, who practices your art, whose name you know well, for s/he is one of your own who does you honor with each day s/he serves. Ares, I pray to you.
In general
Bright-helmed Ares, strong of arm and stern of visage, firm of stance, unyielding of will, ever ready to face any foe, to hold the line against all who may come, to battle until the end. Ares, son of noble Zeus and wise Hera, cherished by golden Aphrodite, honored by those who call on you for strength and courage, in the north were you much honored in times of old, in Thrace and Thessaly were you held in esteem by those whose lives were harsh, whose world was stony, whose comforts were hard-won. Ares who answers the prayers of the despairing, I honor you
For Courage
Ares, fierce-hearted son of Zeus and noble Hera, full-famed you are as god of war. To you do soldiers pray when battle is most heated, when mettle is most needed. To you as well do we turn in desperate times, to you do we call for strength, for the spirit to endure. You understand the terror of struggle and strife, you confront it in every way. Ares, your courage is unquestioned, your might and your prowess unequaled. Ares, friend to those in direst need, I pray to you, grant me the nerve to face what must be faced, grant me the will to do what must be done, grant me the heart to forge ahead.

Zero Cost Witchcraft
When I first started learning witchcraft, I remember seeing a lot of people bemoaning the fact that witchcraft cost so much, and even a few people who seemed disheartened by the fact that they’d never be able to start due to the cost. In a fictional book I was reading around that time, that incorporated modern witchcraft and paganism in it, even the main character made a comment about how much witchcraft and pagan practices cost. To this day, I continue to see similar posts and stories from people, and it always makes me twitch a little because witchcraft doesn’t have to be that and I’m frustrated that it’s presented that way so often.
So, here is a non-exhaustive list of various ways to practice witchcraft for free - or at least enough of it to get you started in the general sphere of things.
Energy Manipulation/Spellwork
At its core, witchcraft is the practice of manipulating energy into the form you want it to take. If you look at quantum physics, attention and expectation can change the way quantum mechanics present themselves in experiments, and it is my personal belief that witchcraft harnesses this phenomenon through the form of intentional energy manipulation.
The great news? Energy manipulation doesn’t cost a thing to do or to learn. You can learn to manipulate your own energy to do magic, or you can draw energy from the earth, fire, the stars, darkness, the moon and sun, the wind, sound. There are so many sources of energy to tap into - and while they might be easier to tap into with tools and leave you with more energy after a working to not use your own energy, you are absolutely able to do magic with just that.
Tools
As we are talking about using tools already, let’s talk about how to get supplies for the craft without spending anything. Jars for holding supplies or for spells can be obtained from washing out food jars, medicine bottles, or even be made from folding in the ends of paper towel or toilet paper rolls so that they form a container. Herbs and other plants can be obtained either from your kitchen where you already have them, or from wildcrafting what you need from your surroundings (just be sure to do so ethically, safely, and responsibly - there should be a variety of posts circulating around witchblr about how to do that). You don’t even need to gather anything fancy - as I mentioned in a past post, historically witches did not have access to the vast array of stones, woods, spices, incenses, etc that we have in the modern day, and they were still able to practice just fine so get creative. For elemental magic, you can get focuses from your surroundings - water from the rain or the tap, earth or stones from the ground, air from smoke or the wind, and fire from candle flame (or other kinds) or the sun. For material tools used in certain paths, you can use what you already have. A cup or thimble for a chalice, a sharp or dull knife for an athame, a found stick or a needle for a wand (or even your finger), a bowl you own for an offering dish or a general container while working.
Divination
For divination, there are a lot of ways to do it without buying tools. A bowl filled with water or a candle flame can be used for scrying. Dream magic can be used for prophetic dreams. A pendulum just needs to be something with weight suspended using something else - a stone tied to a string, a piece of fruit suspended with hair, a necklace you have, there are all kinds of options. For cartomancy, if you have a deck of cards you can use that, looking up the ways it translates to divination, or you can make your own tarot deck or deck of playing cards to use. I’ve heard from others who have tried this method that it generally works best if you have a decent understanding of the cards’ meanings when making them, but that it isn’t required to get a functional result. You can draw your own runestones and put them in one of the jars mentioned earlier to draw them out of. Palm-reading is a popular and common method of divination that doesn’t require anything but a pair of hands. You can even explore less common methods of divination, like reading bird flight, lightning patterns, bibliomancy, or by the shapes of shadows. There are quite literally hundreds of methods of divination created and practiced throughout history, despite the handful of major methods commonly practiced in the modern day - feel free to get creative.
Learn
You can also always learn about the theory of witchcraft if you aren’t currently in a place where you feel you can practice it. There are hundreds of witchcraft books available online in PDF format, and if you have a public library near you, chances are they might have a few books in the nonfiction section (if you live somewhere that uses the Dewey Decimal System, it’s usually in the 000s). Depending on the rules, some bookstores will also allow you to spend time in the store and read, and a growing number are carrying books on witchcraft.
For a more hands-on approach, you can also try learning from the tools and materials you intend to use. There are quite a few practice exercises around out there describing how to sense the energy of the elements, plants, etc, and I covered how you might get your hands on things like that for free earlier.
I know it is frustrating when you want to get the same tools and supplies as everyone else but those specific tools cost more than can be justified - I’ve been there myself. But when that happened, I looked to the past to see what alternatives could be used and to fellow witches about their solutions to the problem, so I hope this (incomplete) list can help you too! Best wishes!

How to make your practice more ethical and eco-conscious (and less expensive!)
When we begin practicing witchcraft, and even when we consume a lot of witchy-related content online, it’s easy to get swept up in aesthetics and consumerism and lose touch with the essence of witchcraft: communion with nature. The worst thing that could happen is for our practice to harm the earth more than it heals it. This can manifest in a number of ways: buying endangered herbs and incense, unethically sourced crystals, not cleaning up after your rituals, etc. Here are some ways to make your practice more eco-conscious:
1. Use what you already have.
Your pantry is probably already stocked with a plethora of spices, herbs, oils and whatnot. Instead of buying a “prettier” version of those products, use them as they are or diy something. Ingenuity and creativity are great qualities to nurture as a witch! Need protection? Use dried crushed eggshells. Need to cleanse? Use rice, it absorbs energy! etc. Most of the time, you can find a replacement for the specific item described in a spell in your pantry. Instead of buying tons of books, borrow them from your public library and take notes in your notebook!
2. When you do buy, buy ethically and consciously.
There are so many online shops out there selling ethical products that are the same price or barely pricier than store-bought products, especially regarding crystals (I don’t have any names popping up right now, but they’re so easy to find). This also goes for candles, oils, incense, etc.
3. Be patient.
This sort of follows the last point. You don’t need 16 crystals right as you start your practice, nor that mega pack of candles at the dollar store. Most witches build their kit as time goes by; nobody starts with a fully stocked altar, and nobody expects you to. Be patient, focus on the items that you really want or need, and don’t buy every little thing that piques your interest. Buy less, buy better.
4. Buy locally.
Help your local businesses if you can. Shipping produces a lot of carbon dioxide, so avoid it as much as possible. The market is small and your local esoteric store (if you have one) is probably struggling. They’re also a great way to meet witches in your community and learn about local events! Of course, it’s always good to ask even your local business if they source their products ethically. If they don’t… well, choose the option that causes lesser harm. When shopping online, try to go to shops in your area, or in your country. The further you buy, the more carbon dioxide you produce. You can also find books, candles, scarves, veils and more at thrift stores!
5. Let go of aesthetics.
The internet has us believing that a witch looks a certain way, acts a certain way, dresses their altar a certain way, has a Book of Shadows that looks a certain way. Step away from all that noise, focus on what makes sense to you and go from there. If you already have one (or multiple) empty notebook that you don’t use, use it instead of buying another one for your magical practice (and decorate it!). Dress your candles yourself! Don’t buy into the “witch aesthetic”, it was created by capitalism to push us to buy more. Instead of accumulating, practice! Owning a lot of trinkets won’t make you a witch, practicing will.
6. Avoid endangered herbs and incenses (as well as herbs used in a specific closed practice).
There are a lot more endangered herbs than you know. We often hear of white sage, which is not only endangered but belongs to closed indigenous practice, but that also includes frankincense, sandalwood, dragon’s blood… do your research before you buy something! Do not contribute to the depleting of global resources. You probably don’t “need” that particular endangered herb for your spell. If you can, grow your own herbs for your spells! Their energy will be even stronger and befitted to you.
7. Source your information ethically!
Unless an author has specified they allowed readers to, do not pirate their books. Support your fellow practitioners, first, and second, the author might have put a hex on their book intended for pirates. Jason Miller definitely does (I’ve learned it the hard way). Also, do not buy books just for the purpose of having them. Having a stocked library does not make you a knowledgeable witch, reading does. Your local public library probably has dozens of books that relate to your practice: esoteric books as well as books on local flora and fauna, meditation, cooking with local ingredients, gardening, seasons, mythology, your local religion, the history of witchcraft/witch trials, etc. A lot of authors also have blogs where they post articles and advice outside of their books.
Side note: Audiobooks are a fully valid way of reading witchy books. Spotify Premium has complimentary audiobooks from Scott Cunningham, Ray Buckland, Jason Miller, Harmony Nice and more.
8. Do NOT use ChatGPT.
ChatGPT emits 8.4 tons of carbon dioxide per year, more than twice the amount that is emitted by an individual, which is 4 tons per year, not to mention each message you send to ChatGPT produces approximately 4.32 grams of CO2. Using ChatGPT to help you verify information, help you build a routine or write a spell is incredibly polluting and harmful to the environment. It also steals content from honest creators and steals revenue from them. Stay away from AI as much as possible.
That’s all I have for now. If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to add them to the post. Treat your land with respect, clean after yourself, and try to leave this earth better than you found it!

Bisexual: Sweet with a little spice, this striking blend starts with ozone and chili pepper, mellowed out by a heart of mandarin, guava, and orange. Coconut and peppercorn round out the scent.
All candles are decorated with eco-friendly glitter made from sustainably and ethically sourced plant material that biodegrades in a wastewater environment. Testing was conducted to ensure that eco-glitter won't cause a severe fire hazard the way dried botanicals do, and while my own testing showed that they don't cause fireballs or anything, if your glitter gets too close to the wick, I recommend gently brushing it away before lighting, just to be safe!
Each candle costs $35 and the wax weight of each is approximately 6 ounces!

HAPPY DRAGON APPRECIATION DAY!!!
Today I'm busting out the big-dragon tea cups and am making everyone their choice out of my tea cupboard! We have...
Blazing Dragon (makes you feel very warm! dilute with milk to make the heat more gentle)
Mel Dew (mel is latin for honey!)
Liquid Hearth (robust spices mixed with volcanic ash)
Cranked Kobold (high caffeine content. yips are a possible side-effect)
Lumina Lie-Down (gentle sleeping effects, works in bright spaces or during daylight too!)
Whole Blue (made from blue glowing cave mushrooms. the drink itself glows, and you'll find your tongue does too! kind of smooth sappy texture)
Candle-Sight Delight (boosts positive emotions thru its gentle blend of flavors, also makes your eyes shimmer like candles!)
Sifted Soul (each tea bag contains a bit of soul dust and a very sweet flavoring to counteract it. the souls are ethically sourced, at least I'm pretty sure)
And if you have any requests, I can pop out of the archives and see what else I can find!
If the large-dragon sized cups are not enough, there's also a hot springs nearby that might work!
Alright that's it! I hope all the dragons out there are having a really wonderful day!!! 💖🙏😊💖

Would you like to find a way into the lost world and forgotten art of Hoodoo Rootwork and Conjure?
Are you looking for a modern guide on traditional African-American folk magic to cast powerful spells, craft conjuring oils and mojo bags, and build mighty altars to guarantee positive outcomes in your love life and professional endeavors?
Hoodoo was born out of sorrow and desperation, as a weapon and a defense, from the faith and resilience of the African slaves that adapted their religious tradition to the treacherous New World. As the world changed, Hoodoo adapted incorporating Native American herbal healing traditions and European religions and magical traditions, building a syncretic powerful folk magic system that works!
First prohibited, then ridiculed and commodified, Hoodoo has always been shrouded in secrecy and passed on quietly from generation to generation for fear of reprisal, contempt, and abuse and to this day is hard to find reputable sources on conjure and Rootwork. But don’t be discouraged!
I am proud to present The Hoodoo Bible: The 7-in-1 Root Doctor’s Companion to Black Folk Magic: an in-depth, all-encompassing, powerful 7-books-in-1 bundle that has recorded our rich heritage of herbal magic, traditional rootwork, and divination practices.
More exhaustive than any other book on the market, thoroughly researched and written with ease of use in mind, The Hoodoo Bible will accompany you through the spiritual path that our ancestors have beaten for us to explore the potent and practical magic of Hoodoo to claim justice, invoke protection, and find love, luck, and success.
With over 1000 authentic Hoodoo workings, these seven volumes will bring Hoodoo alive to budding rootworkers and adept practitioners alike:
The first volume will explore the history, culture, principles, fundamentals, and ethics of Hoodoo, giving you the theoretical groundwork you need to master the craft.
With the second volume the fun really begins! This practical how-to Hoodoo guide for beginners has everything you need to start practicing Rootwork and Conjure.
By the end of the third volume, you can start to call yourself a Root Doctor. With 275+ magical herbs, roots, spices, and curios, this book will help you craft powerful conjuring oils, spiritual baths and floor washes, magical teas and tonics, herb bundles and garlands to accomplish amazingly mighty Rootwork.
In the fourth volume you will find 30+ money spells, 25+ love spells, fertility spells, healing spells, and justice spells, with easy step-by-step instructions including a special chapter on inscribed spells and a complete guide on crossroads spells.
The fifth volumedelves into advanced spellcasting and conjure, teaching you how to conjure spirits, protect your home, banish your enemies, get revenge, and lay sneaky tricks. It includes a special chapter on graveyard spells and foot track magic.
In the sixth volumeyou will explore Hoodoo divination with step-by-step techniques for bone throwing, dice casting, and Hoodoo tarot. With a special chapter on dream divination and omens.
The seventh and last volume explores candle magic. This complete guide will teach you how to build an altar and use the magic of fire and the psalms to achieve your goals, be it money, success, luck, or love.
Applying Hoodoo magic to everyday life will help you achieve your goals in your private and professional life and along the way you will discover that working the roots has also sharpened your intuition, enriched your life, and prepared you for whatever may come your way.
So are you ready to discover the lost world and forgotten art of Hoodoo Rootwork and Conjure?

cooking, by asmi, because someone wanted this. i can't cook, btw.
Were they joking? Probably. Cheers, @deathwords334, beware what you wish for. NOW BABYGIRLS, BITCHBOYS, AND BOYCOTTERS OF THE BINARY, I WILL... TEACH YOU HOW TO COOK. EXCEPT UH. I CAN'T COOK.
SO I WILL TEACH YOU WHAT I THINK UH COOKING IS. KINDA. FUCK YEAH THERE'S NOTHING I'M BETTER AT THAN EXPLAINING THINGS I AM SEVERELY UNDERQUALIFIED TO EXPLAIN.
STEP I: WASH THE ENDS OF YOUR FORELIMBS
WASH YOUR HANDS. UNLESS YOU'RE USING GLOVES. PLASTIC GLOVES, BECAUSE THE OTHERS WILL CATCH ON FIRE. To be fair plastic gloves might melt into your skin and cause worse damage than--YOU KNOW WHAT JUST WASH YOUR GODDAMN HANDS 99.9% OF GERMS GONE WITH EVERY HANDWASH EVER.
STEP II: FIND SOME REAL ESTATE TO EXIST IN
YOU SHOULD PROBABLY BE IN A KITCHEN. IT'S NOT A NECESSITY. YOU COULD ALSO HAVE A BONFIRE. OR A MICROWAVE IN A DORM. IS HEATING UP READY-MADE PASTA COOKING? FUCK YEAH IT IS DON'T GATEKEEP COOKING HERE.
YOU CAN ALSO STAND OVER A CREMATION PYRE AND COOK. IT IS NOT ADVISED. FOR LEGAL REASONS.
STEP III: CONTAIN YOURSELF MY DEAR THOTSON!
DR BEGONE THOTSON! MOVING ON. GRAB A CONTAINER. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, YOUR PALMS UP IN SUPPLICATION TO OUR LORD GOD BILDADDY ARE A NATURAL CONTAINER. UNLESS YOU'RE HEATING THE CONTAINER. PLEASE DO NOT HEAT YOUR PALMS. YOU CAN GRAB A SWORD OR SOMETHING AND SKEWER THE FOOD IF YOU'RE DESPERATE.
STEP IV: FIND EDIBLE ORGANIC SUBSTRATES
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FOOD. ON THE MAGGOTS SERVER, THERE WAS DEBATE WITHIN THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF WHETHER OR NOT CONSENTUAL AND LOCALLY SOURCED CANNIBALISM IS ETHICAL. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF THIS POST. JUST GRAB SOME FUCKING FOOD UPROOT A BUSH IF YOU HAVE TO.
HELPFUL TIP: BEWARE WILD MUSHROOMS
OH ASMI, WE KNOW, SOME ARE FUCKING HALLUCINOGENICS, SOME ARE POISONOUS, SOME ARE LAXATIV--NO NO NO. NOT MY POINT. SOMETIMES, MUSHROOMS GROW IN CIRCLES. THIS IS A TRAP SET BY THE FAE. @queermarzipan, PLEASE CONFIRM.
DON'T GET TRAPPED BY THE FAE WHILE FORAGING FOR FOOD.
STEP V: IT'S GETTIN' HOT IN HERE MMMKAY
IF YOU'VE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT GETTING BURNED ALIVE, ARRESTED OR KIDNAPPED BY THE FAERIES, CONGRATS! YOU ARE READY TO COOK. UH. YOU NEED HEAT, PROBABLY. IS MAKING A SALAD COOKING? IS MAKING A (NOT GRILLED) SANDWICH COOKING? I DON'T KNOW.
FOR SOME REASON I THINK HEAT IS KEY TO THE COOKING PROCESS.
SO WELL, GET IT HOT! FUNERAL PYRE OR MICROWAVE, GREAT! KITCHEN, PROBABLY A STOVE IN THERE. BONFIRE, GREAT! OKAY I FEEL LIKE STEP FIVE IS THE SAME AS STEP TWO. IT'S FINE.
WORST COMES TO WORST, PUT ON A TV SHOW LIKE GOOD OMENS (NUDGE NUDGE PROMO PROMO WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW IT'S BEAUTIFUL I LOVE I-OKAY SORRY) AND THE HOMOEROTIC TENSION WILL HEAT UP YOUR FOOD.
STEP VI: SPICE IT UP A BIT!
ADD SPICES THE WAY FANFIC WRITERS ADD FINGER BRUSHES, ONE BED, DANCING AND IT SWITCHES TO A SLOW SONG, WING SENSITIV--SORRY UM YES ADD SPICES THE WAY THEY ADD DETAILS TO THEIR SMUT. SPICE AND CHEMISTRY PEOPLE IT'S SPICE AND CHEMISTRY.
COOKING IS GAY.
STEP VII: MOUTHHOLE THAT BITCH
EAT. BONUS POINTS IF SOMEONE WATCHES YOU EAT. OR YOU WATCH SOMEONE EAT. HOMOEROTICALLY. LIKE CROWLEY WATCHES AZIRAPHA--OKAY FINE I'LL SHUSH BUT WATCH THE SHOW IF YOU HAVEN'T.
y'all I think I might not be coping well with life LOVE YOU MAGGOTS REBLOG IF YOU LEARNED SOMETHING AMAZING ABOUT COOKING TODAY! FROM THIS POST I MEAN. NOT IN... GENERAL. I THINK I'M FALLING ASLEEP. FUCK.

A3! Chikage Mini Talks Translation “Ah, My Dearly Beloved”
Learning Heia period trivia with Chikage and a challenge with Sakyo
Tumblr media
Mini Talk 1
Tumblr media
Chikage
In the Heian period, people usually only gave their real names to those who were close to them. You’d rarely even get a glimpse of someone’s face.*
Even the main character in “The Tale of Genji”, Hikaru Genji, uses a common name.
They’d communicate with letters and waka poems, and when they visit each other’s homes to talk face-to-face it’d be through formal speech. You’d have to use your imagination and guess what kind of person who you’re talking to is.
If you ask me, that’s pretty useful in a lot of ways I think.
How come?
…I wonder, who knows.
Mini Talk 2
Tumblr media
Chikage
I’m thinking of making an Autumn-themed curry palette.
It’d be nice to add some mushrooms or other autumnal ingredients, maybe even add grapes or chestnuts as a secret ingredient.
It should still be sufficiently spicy, of course. I wonder which spices I should use.
I’ll consult with the Spicy Cuisine Research Society too. Citron comes up with some surprisingly interesting ideas.
The taste of autumn and spices will come together beautifully. I’ll make a mean curry for you, so you can count on me, Director-san.
Mini Talk 3
Tumblr media
Chikage
I’m not exactly big on romance novels, when it comes to stories from the Heian period however… ethically, I find it questionable; personally, I find it intriguing.
The very customs of love and marriage were determined and influenced by one’s values and background back then. It was pretty interesting for me to learn about it.
Like how someone would marry for the sake of the family, and they’d grow richer in doing so.
…I figured those kinds of values suit me. It’d still be a pain in the ass, though.
Well… someone that loves spices like I do, good-natured, a bit of a mess and worth protecting——.
If there was a noblewoman like a certain someone like that somewhere, I might be willing to be by her side.
…Kidding.
Chikage & Sakyo talk
Tumblr media
Chikage
Ah, Sakyo-san, just who I was looking for.
Sakyo
…What do you want?
Chikage
I was planning on doing Hyakunin Isshu* for role-building, now I’m looking for someone to compete with me.
Could I ask you to be my rival?
Sakyo
It could’ve been anyone else, doesn’t have to be me.
Chikage
Oh don’t say that just yet, I didn’t say it’ll be for free. …Hear me out first.
*Chikage whispers something to Sakyo*
Sakyo
!
…Stay true to your word.
Chikage
Of course. I’ll even wrap it up in a plastic bag and hand it to you myself.
Sakyo
…Alright. I’ll bite.
Chikage
Pleasure doing business with you.
Sakyo
This is for role-building, you better not cut any corners.
Chikage
Go easy on me.
———— T/Ns: ————
What Chikage is talking about here is the tradition of women covering their heads or faces when faced with strangers during the Heian era; this is due to the patriarchy setting societal rules for women, this practice eventually dissolved as time and society progressed.
You can read more about it here. Another article with sources.
I’m guessing Chikage is talking about Hyakunin Isshu karuta competitions. Hyakunin Isshu refers to 100 specially selected waka poems from the Nara period to the Kamakura period. In a nutshell, karuta competitions involve reciting certain poem cards, and when they get to a certain point, you swat away the card. Whoever gets to it first wins, it’s a game of agility and discipline.

Tumblr media
The “healthy ship” in question is between two characters who have an age gap, had one conversation and has several fan stories where the writer depicts them not having a healthy relationship
oh, and chances are possible season two will pull a Star Wars and confirm that they’re related if the Polokus comparisons are leading anywhere
I’m not gonna shame anyone for ship preferences and I’m up for media criticism but this just kinda weird? Not kinda, just flat out weird actually
It’s extremely weird people keep commenting on that Laserhawk shipping shit post with crap like “well Rayfrog is healthier-“ when the two aren’t even canon and their romantic dynamic is pure fan speculation as this point, not to mention it’s an extremely shallow view of both the characters and the show’s themes.
Yes Alex sucks ass, but to say people shouldn’t even attempt to explore Alex and Dolph's relationship in favour of a non canon ship because it’s “healthier” is just so? Dolph has so much tragedy to his character that also says so much about the environment that Dolph and many other kids who grew up like him had to experience in the setting of Eden, and Alex plays a huge part of that.
To say Alex x Dolph isn’t worth “shipping” is to basically admit you don’t care for the show’s themes of exploitation, abuse and trauma under an uncaring capitalist dystopia.
Regardless if Alex’s love was genuine, the relationship he had with Dolph was no different to how Eden used Dolph as a tool and I think that’s definitely far more interesting than just “what if Rayman makes out sloppy style with twink Globox?”
Also, you know you don’t have to ship “ethically”, right? You can have spice. Obviously criticising ships and fiction shouldn’t be taboo either but everyone is “problematic” to some degree. Please use the block button
Edit: I wanted to add now that I thought about this more is that I now realise what it is that bugs me about Rayfrog despite it being a good ship , and it’s not because it’s the most popular ship in the fandom or the two are hog 90% of tags all over the place
It’s because we got a situation where a chunk of the fandom wants to focus on Rayfrog being a wholesome ship while actively ignoring the source material is full of dark , mature and outright problematic story elements, so people who want to talk about Laserhawk’s less vanilla aspects are drowned out by people who joke about rayfrog being toxic yaoi/yuri but can’t actually handle actual toxic yaoi/yuri (wanna stress this does not apply to everyone who ships rayfrog but it’s a noticeable bias on that shit post I made)
probably also awkward that Rayman’s original series is aimed at kids so 🤷‍♀️

Do your OCs celebrate Thanksgiving? If so, what dish are they making and bringing? 👀💫
Thank you for your question♡♡♡
Yes, Shion and Raoul, from Eclipsed Hearts, would definitely celebrate Thanksgiving, albeit with their own unique twist on the holiday! They might attend a gathering with fellow vampires and humans, blending traditions to create a fun and memorable experience.
They'd bring Pumpkin Spice Blood Pudding (lol)
Shion and Raoul decide to make a pumpkin spice blood pudding, a creative dish that pays homage to traditional pumpkin pie while embracing their vampire nature. This sweet and spicy pudding is made with real pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a dash of vanilla, blended with a rich, dark blood base (perhaps a mix of animal blood for flavor, keeping it ethical and within vampire norms).
---
Saville and Arce from Under the Knife
Saville is not the traditional family type, and Thanksgiving is mostly a nuisance for him. However, he acknowledges the day as an opportunity to indulge in some culinary creativity. Given his snarky personality and a penchant for the unexpected, he decides to bring an unconventional dish: pumpkin ravioli with sage brown butter sauce. He’ll make it from scratch, enjoying the process of crafting the delicate pasta and filling. While he might roll his eyes at the idea of "family time," he finds solace in the kitchen, where he can exert control and express his culinary skills.
Arce, on the other hand, has a more complex relationship with Thanksgiving. He values the connections with. To celebrate, he brings a smoked turkey breast that he prepared himself, having learned to appreciate the art of cooking as a means of bonding with others. He might also whip up mashed potatoes with garlic and chives, showcasing a softer side as he attempts to impress Saville and make the gathering a little less tense. He enjoys the opportunity to create something delicious for others, perhaps trying to atone for some of his darker past.
---
Aster, Piper and Alethea from Shades of Erudition
Asterion 'Aster' Carter
Dish: Herb-Crusted Roasted Turkey
He would source high-quality ingredients and pay close attention to the details, marinating the turkey with a blend of herbs and spices he meticulously selects. The presentation would be elegant, showcasing his culinary skills and adding a touch of sophistication to the Thanksgiving table.
Piper Redmond
Dish: Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallow Topping
He would be the one to add the marshmallow topping, using it as an opportunity to lighten the mood and make jokes about “the best part of Thanksgiving.” His dish would be a bit messy but filled with love and humor, reflecting his vibrant personality. Piper might even sneak in some unique spices or nuts to surprise everyone, showcasing his creativity and flair for fun in the kitchen.
Alethea Pierce
Dish: Cranberry Sauce with a Twist
Why: Alethea, with her sharp intellect and creativity, would prepare a homemade cranberry sauce that stands out from the usual recipe. She might infuse her sauce with orange zest, ginger, and a hint of cinnamon, giving it a unique flavor profile that surprises everyone at the table. This dish would reflect her personality—classic yet innovative, with a touch of warmth and sophistication.
---
Rosaire and Leslie from Crimson Threads
Rosaire, with his penchant for charm and sophistication, takes on the role of the host and prepares a luxurious roasted turkey, seasoned to perfection and garnished with fresh herbs. He believes that a perfectly cooked turkey is a staple of any Thanksgiving gathering, and he uses this occasion to show off his culinary skills.
Leisle, on the other hand, takes a more playful approach. He decides to make a dessert—pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. He knows Rosaire loves to impress, and he wants to bring something fun and casual to balance out the elegance of the turkey. Leisle also throws in a few surprises, like adding unexpected spices and a hint of chocolate to the cupcakes, making them a delightful twist on the traditional dish.
---
I hope you enjoyed this. Yes it is not systematic, i tend to get confused with the aesthetics.
Thank you once again ♡♡♡

Custom Chocolate: Tailored Perfection for Every Occasion
Tumblr media
Custom chocolate is more than just a sweet treat; it’s a way to make an impression, express your creativity, and celebrate unique moments in life. From birthdays and corporate events to weddings and holidays, custom chocolate has become a top choice for people who want their gifts to stand out. In this article, we’ll explore what makes custom chocolate so special, the different types of customizations available, and tips for choosing and ordering custom chocolate.
What is Custom Chocolate?
Custom chocolate is personalized, made-to-order chocolate that can be tailored in terms of flavor, shape, design, and packaging. Unlike regular, mass-produced chocolate, custom chocolate is crafted to meet specific preferences, making it an excellent option for gifts, events, and special occasions.
With advancements in chocolate craftsmanship, artisans can create intricate designs, infuse unique flavors, and offer distinctive presentation options. Some custom chocolates are even made for specific dietary preferences, including vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free variations.
The Benefits of Custom Chocolate
Custom chocolate offers a range of benefits that make it a great choice for thoughtful gifting:
Uniqueness: A personalized design or message on chocolate makes it one-of-a-kind.
Memorability: Custom chocolate creates a lasting impression, especially when it’s tailored to the recipient's tastes.
Thoughtfulness: Custom chocolate shows that you've put effort into creating something special.
Versatility: Custom chocolates work for any occasion, from romantic gestures to corporate gifts.
Types of Custom Chocolate Customizations
When it comes to custom chocolate, the possibilities are nearly endless. Here are some popular customization options:
1. Flavors and Ingredients
Classic flavors include milk, dark, and white chocolate, while more adventurous options may feature caramel, sea salt, fruit flavors, or spices.
Add-ins such as nuts, dried fruit, or even edible flowers can add both taste and texture.
Dietary preferences like vegan, dairy-free, and organic chocolate can also be incorporated.
2. Shapes and Molds
Chocolatiers can craft chocolates into specific shapes, such as hearts, stars, or logos.
For corporate events or brand promotions, logos can be molded directly into the chocolate, making it ideal for brand recognition.
3. Designs and Artwork
Edible ink or food-safe coloring can be used to print designs on chocolate.
Some chocolates come with intricate designs, patterns, or even images that are transferred onto the chocolate surface.
4. Personalized Packaging
Packaging options include everything from custom wrappers with a logo to luxury boxes with personalized messages.
Packaging can also align with the event’s theme, such as holiday designs, wedding colors, or corporate branding.
5. Special Diets
Custom chocolate can also accommodate dietary restrictions like vegan, gluten-free, or sugar-free, making it accessible to a broader audience.
See the selection of custom chocolate to discover creative options that can make any occasion extraordinary.
How to Choose Quality Custom Chocolate
Selecting quality custom chocolate ensures that your gift will be both beautiful and delicious. Here are some factors to consider:
Quality of Ingredients: Look for brands that use high-quality, ethically-sourced cocoa beans and other fresh ingredients.
Artisan Expertise: Choose a chocolatier with a reputation for quality craftsmanship.
Customization Flexibility: Find a brand that offers various customization options to get the exact product you want.
Customer Reviews: Reading reviews can provide insight into customer satisfaction, flavor, and presentation quality.
Common Uses for Custom Chocolate
Custom chocolate is versatile and suitable for a wide range of occasions. Here are a few examples of how it can be used:
Weddings: Personalized chocolates can be used as wedding favors, each with a unique message or design.
Corporate Events: Branded chocolate with company logos can be a memorable gift for clients or employees.
Birthdays: Customized chocolates can add a personal touch to birthday celebrations.
Holidays: Custom chocolate is a popular choice for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and other holidays, with designs and flavors tailored for the season.
Baby Showers and Anniversaries: Custom chocolate can be tailored to celebrate life’s milestones.
Tips for Ordering Custom Chocolate
Ordering custom chocolate can be a fun process, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
Plan Ahead: Custom chocolate often requires time for design, production, and shipping, so order well in advance.
Discuss Your Preferences: Clearly communicate any preferences for flavors, design, and packaging with the chocolatier.
Review Options Carefully: Some chocolatiers offer templates or design examples; reviewing these can help you choose the best option.
Consider Your Budget: Custom chocolates can vary widely in price depending on complexity, so ensure that your design fits within your budget.
Ask About Allergens: If you or your recipient has dietary restrictions, inquire about allergen-free or special diet options.
Conclusion
Custom chocolate offers a unique way to show appreciation, celebrate special moments, and indulge in a luxurious experience. Whether you’re looking for something simple or extravagant, the ability to tailor chocolates to fit personal preferences and event themes makes custom chocolate a memorable and versatile option. By understanding the various customization options, considering quality, and planning your order, you can create a chocolate experience that’s both visually stunning and incredibly satisfying.
