Chervil, she is six moons old and just became an apprentice. That hawk came out of nowhere, and it's understandable they'd be ins hock. The question should be why didn't YOU do something? Why did you just stand there and now are asking an apprentice why THEY didn't do something?

Thanks for asking, nonnie! <3 At the risk of getting too #personal, I'm not doing super great lol. This Christmas season has been pretty rough at my house. My son has struggled with some behavior challenges off and on for the past year and a half (we are in the process of getting him evaluated, but man, waiting lists are loooong) and this Christmas was soooo hard for him for some reason. It was legitimately like he was possessed and totally not in control of his body at all for like a week and a half, and it was really difficult making holiday stuff happen while dealing with him and also taking care of his three-month-old sister (who is not a good sleeper, so I'm constantly sleep-deprived, which doesn't help). He was just super overstimulated, we think, and he's only just in the last couple days calmed down again to his usual sweet, smart, funny self. Luckily he starts occupational therapy this week, so we're hopeful that will help him! He also goes back to school on Monday, but that's it's own kind of stress, because we're still working out juggling his morning routine and other school stuff with the new baby.

I love being a parent, and I love my kids, but man, it is REALLY hard sometimes. I know it won't be long before this phase is just a distant memory, but when you're in it, it's tough, haha. Hopefully the return to "real life" will actually be a positive for all of us.

There are some fics that I didn't expect comments/many comments on while writing them because they either aren't Sydcarmy or they are nsfw in a way some people might not feel comfortable commenting on, and I write them knowing that, so comments about the Sydney and Mikey pre-canon friendship fic is always a nice surprise and I love getting messages about Brigade 🤭 Also I know the question was fic not fics, but the comments and love for how will i know? have seriously blown me away. I feel so so lucky and have cried about it lol

I do! Sometimes that's because an idea won't leave me so I add it to my notes app to come back to and sometimes it's because I had writers block and I know writing one line will get me closer to not being in writers block.

Lives in the shadows of her former self, Dan Jia, though is rebirthed as a new person. The majestic horns perched like a crown remind her that she can never run from the past and might one day hoist her true responsibilities on her shoulders once she regains all forgotten knowledge.

Character details (Data Bank)

A woman who her past self was depicted in stories of old as a legendary beauty and her skill in the medical fields and dancing arts. Though being 'reborn', she can never run from the past that looms over her.

She has taken the name (Y/n) as tribute to the only thing her blurred memory could preserve. For the name Jia...means home and family. Something she had lost long...long ago.

I might actually write a character profile for (Y/n) one day... I might even add new characters next time, like Dan Heng IL, Yukong, Fu Xuan, Jingliu, or even the timelines when the High Cloud Quintet were still up and running.

Shadowclan lives in an abandoned warehouse with almost no walls but an almost fully intact ceiling, casting the whole camp in shadow

Windclan lives among the wreckage of a collapsed wind turbine

The leaders den in Skyclan being the cockpit of the plane. The leaders nest is directly on the pilots seat. The deputy sleeps on the copilot seat.

Branches are weaved across the beams of the powerline tower. Thunderclan camp stretches high into the sky, and is nearly impossible to attack. The nursery and elders den is on the ground surrounded by the support beams.

Vines and ladders and broken boards bent at just the right angles line the slight walls left. Shadowclan cats can climb to the rooftop. The leaders voice echoes across the ceiling every time they cheer.

Windclan dens underneath the giant, shattered propellers of the turbine, their camp could be considered the biggest of them all, with so much grass in between each blade. The leader perches on the metal block that once connected them. Tunnels stretch under camp, from blade to blade, to keep out of the sun when predators roam the sky.

Name: Jasper Broden. Gender: Male. General appearance: Tall, lanky, graceful - there is a lot about Jasper that outright denounces his parentage given how amazingly like his father he is. They share the same body type, height and even keep their hair somewhat similarly. To those who were friendly with Broden as a young man (even before the time he spent in the army), they are all convinced that Jasper is his spitting image. Personality: Jasper is often described as creative and unique - he is the type of child that was fortunate to be surrounded by material comfort (since both his parents were accomplished business owners) and to live in a time where no threat of war existed (with Shinra presumably gone and world order being more peaceful after the fall of Midgar). Besides, being a native to Kalm exposed him to the city's artistic environment from a very early childhood - his interest in drawing and designing made him someone with a different outlook on life. Jasper is not as sociable as his mother and neither embraces the adventures of his father as former military - he is content to be in his head and to express himself differently through fashion. Special talents: Naturally gifted for the arts - particularly the visual ones. Jasper draws beautifully (and often), both as a hobby and as part of his career as a designer.
