It's her. The Enemy.

Here she is!!! My yugisona Enemy (Emmy)!

She's more of a deck builder than a dueler, but she tries her best.

Some background on her:

Enemy is believed to be an all powerful cat goddess from another dimension that was sent to this one as punishment for an attempted overthrow. Her time in this dimension has greatly weakened her to the point where there is little hope of returning to her old home. She decided to instead take over this universe! Not just for power, but so she and her beloved cat, Pompom, can live out the rest of their lives without working at all!

It's important to say that all of this is just what she believes. None of that is true, except for the desire for cartoony world domination, Emmy is just a chuunibyou.

She was born on Earth just like everyone else in the yugiverse was, but that won't stop her from believing in her delusions! She wants to be the world's greatest duelist because she knows that that's the only way for her to have even a chance at a life of laziness!

This leads her to building many decks! Some are good, some are terrible, most are alright. She prefers decks that revolve around beasts, plants, or insects because those are cuter in her eyes.

She isn't the best at dueling. Her response time isn't good, she's bad at thinking ahead, and forgets to read her cards properly most of the time, but she always tries her best. Her wins and losses are forever at a permanent tie.

Enemy wears a variety of masks and glasses to appear "mysterious". She buys blank masks and then decorates them to suit her many, many outfits. The glasses she just buys as is and wears cat ear headbands with them.

I like the idea of the masks and glasses being expressive like they are in cartoons, so Enemy's do that.

Her favorite color is pink, but because that isn't a scary color unless combined with black, she usually wears blue and purple when enacting her diabolical plans. Sometimes she wears yellow, but not all the time.

I'm still working on her full story, just know that I'm planning on shipping her with Zorc/Yami Bakura because she's based off me and I'm infatuated with those two specifically.

I wanted her to use the decks I run IRL, but since she lives in DM world, I can't let her have Melffy or Naturia.

There were supposed to be more drawings, but I got hit with not wanting to draw for awhile.

E for Enemy

My favorite antagonist in Zexal is Number 96, absolutely Number 96. He is also my favorite character after Astral.

He is a chaotic force that only answers to himself, and I adore him.

He is a great foil to Astral, and I really like how, even if he is a sort of dark version of Astral, his design is still very recognizable: his expressions, his gestures, his voice are his own and very detached from Astral.

Every episode where he appears had become one of my favorites, and I will always be sad that he had appeared in so few episodes.

Au where Bakura comes back post canon in tk body but yb mind so he basically retains all his memories, but Atem comes back with absolutely zero. So Bakura kind of has to act as his translator, which absolutely no one is happy with XD

He probably also gets charged with teaching Atem japanese, and he's purposely teaching him cursewords while telling Atem that it means something entirely else.

Atem probably gets a better teacher (Isis) eventually, so probably no one will get too offended. He ends up turning Bakura's lessons on him, calling him 'a delightful brethren whom he deeply treasures' to his face XD

I don't usually post my fic ideas, but I need to get this out before I cry.

Unrequited love gemshipping and enemies to friends to lovers casteshipping.

After coming back to life, TKB stays with Ryou, they go through the whole "you hurt me" and "I know, I'm sorry" process and become friends, but TKB starts to feel things for his only friend in the world.

Since TKB has never experienced a healthy and serious relationship, he doesn't know what the hell to do, so he does his best to show Ryou that he loves him, but Ryou believes that everything TKB does is because they are friends.

After a while Ryou arrives with TKB and tells him that there is someone he likes, that he is going out with that someone and hopes for the best, TKB, after considering how much he screwed up Ryou's life, bites his tongue and gives his full support because Ryou deserves to be happy.

Of course TKB needs someone to vent to, but there's no one else to go to except Atem, who could understand how after thousands of years he feels something for someone.

He then goes to Atem, who at first doesn't understand why TKB is talking to him, until TKB starts crying, which breaks Atem's heart because he can see how much TKB is suffering from his first broken heart, so he lets him stay in his house/apartment and take care of him.

TKB is very depressed, he questions if this is what he deserves after everything he did, if that is his punishment, he wonders if he doesn't deserve to be loved, he cries almost every day, if he is not crying he is asleep, Atem is not can do nothing but try to get him to eat and clean himself, sometimes if he's lucky he succeeds.

One day Atem enters TKB's room, sits next to him on the bed, neither of them says anything, TKB continues crying and Atem puts his hand on TKB's head, his hair is softer than he expected and he gives him cuddling, TKB falls asleep and Atem too, somehow they end up holding hands.

After a while TKB begins to improve, as well as his friendship with Atem, then he begins to think of Atem as more than a friend, traumatized with his first failed romantic experience, he withdraws into himself again, Atem worries about him again but this time TKB tries to evade him.

Atem at some point gets fed up and confronts TKB, TKB starts apologizing over and over again, Atem tries to console him but it only makes things worse, then TKB apologizes for loving him and Atem stands in shock while hugging TKB.

yeah Kisara was a self-banished wanderer, guilt ridden and afraid of her dragon but also like. who made the dragon. lol. theres always ALWAYS this quiet rage and grief, which claws at her skin trying to escape, just barely kept down at any given moment, and when her loyalty, therefore the dragons loyalty is bound to Seto there is not only no guilt, she surrendered completely, theres also relief and satisfaction. is he her enabler or is she his enabler trick question the answer is yes both

Another example of this is the bond between Ed and the Chimeras who saved his life when he was impaled and nearly died.

They went from literally trying to murder him to being valued friends and allies. Edward has an energy about him that causes people to gravitate to him, and an even more odd ability to turn enemies into allies through simply just treating them with respect and trying to understand them.

I have a feeling that if Envy had survived after being nearly reduced to ashes, Ed likely would have been able to make them into a friend as well at some point.

Tangled Web of Fate A03 | FFN

The usual, quick copy/paste briefing for possible new readers below cut.

To those new to the insanity, this is unfortunately one of those self-indulgent fics where the OC is central to the story, and ofc what’s a self-indulgent story without an MC to pair with OC? Sorry peeps, Marik/OC pairing. There is a slowburn enemies to lovers taking place in the later chapters between Atem and Yami B.|TKB if that’s of any consolation. Only canon that exists for this fic is Duelist Kingdom and Battle City arcs, with the occasional reference to Season 0 (I’m dub trash, deal with it). Ancient Egypt portion is entirely AU, as is the origins of the Yami spirits. No Yami/Hikari pairings due to the dynamics that I have placed them in. No card duels, because I suck at the game. Instead there are other game references, Ka summons, and magic. TW littered all throughout, but I try my best to mention them at the start of the chapter.
