Okay, season 3

I found it tiring and repetitive. didn't need 10 episodes. 8 was enough. just like previous seasons.  

Carmen in this maniac episode was almost insufferable to watch. Everybody on here was waiting for him to be down, but the writers could’ve done better, and Christopher Storer could’ve shown us better.

First of all, his relationship with Claire wasn't that deep. I know it's all in Carmy’s head, the way he visualizes her etc, and yes I have a high degree of myopia, but this was not shown in s2. It makes me mad watching this lack of commitment with his partner and sister in an opening business.

I care about Camy, and it’s so tragic that he can’t get out of this cycle of abuse. but I’m a human, and sometimes I really wanna beat him. I know he's trying, but this man needs to take his head off his ass asap. Showing his situation with one hundred flashbacks was monotonous to watch. 

About Sydney, I’m so mad how they wrote her this season. Are they gonna end this show without showing us a center episode of her??? this season was a perfect moment to develop ONE OF THE LEAD CHARACTER OF THE SHOW!!!

My girl was passing for so much and alone, but the writers were like, nah, let’s show bad comedy with the Faks instead. Put a woman to babysit Carmen and Richie, two grown-up men for the entire season, it’s insane. (she's so much better than me)

I love Sydney so much, and we know she would rather get a shot than talk about her private life with anyone, but I need her to fight. I need her to speak. The panic attack scene breaks my heart, I don't think is all carmy's fault. It was a mix of everything. Fear of the future, insecure about everything, thinking about her found family and the possibility of losing them, starting a new business all over again (when she spoke on s2 that she didn't have in her to try again), fear of failure again. But I wish they had shown it better from her pov. They should have improved this part. 

I ended this season with a bitter feeling. It’s not a good writing job to have ten episodes of preparation to be resolved in the future. 

(And since Christopher Storer likes Taylor Swift so much, he should take all this hate train and enter his reputation era, and give us a better script in s4. #i think the bear is gonna finish in s4, so lets be productive and finish the show in a good way. please, all this with Joana Calo by his side, let her write!)

I loved Tina’s episode (thank god Ayo directed the best one), ice chips were insanely good. Abby Elliott and Jaime Lee Curtis!!!!!111!1 and the first episode was so well edited and directed. i love those actors very much so, they are so talented.

The Killer (dir. John Woo).

Woo's Paris-set American remake of his stone cold 1989 Hong Kong action classic feels otherwise generic in between bombastic bursts of his trademark filmmaking style. A gender-swapped Nathalie Emmanuel and Omar Sy make for charismatic leads in an otherwise forgettable ensemble cast where a cold-hearted hitwoman must protect one of her intended targets from the shady European criminal underworld. If nothing else, it's another fun exercise in a filmmaker updating his own material but never hits beyond that despite some fresh cinematic flourishes.

it's genuinely something that aids my mental health so much to imagine a being that's seen the beginning and the end of the world, a being that's seen the best and the worst of what humanity can offer, a being that's had all the time in the universre to ponder about a purpose, and about the meaning of existence, and whose very simple response is just. be kind. in the long run, none of the other things matter. what matters is to allow your soul to blossom into something as beautiful as it can be, through little acts of kindness, whenever you are able. that's enough.

The Killer is an gender-swapped English-language remake of John Woo's 1989 film of the same name. Woo once again directs from a screenplay by Brian Helgeland and Josh Campbell & Matt Stuecken. 2004's The Killer stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Sam Worthington, Diana Silvers, and Omar Sy.

The Killer hits Peacock on August 23, 2024.

Ian Emmanuel González Santos from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco isn’t your standard teenage boy.

At 13 years old, his profound interest in biology made him break some serious records. In fact, the Mexican child genius has now become the youngest molecular biologist in the world. He will get another degree from the University of Guadalajara this month.

He explained that although “it feels good knowing you can learn faster and understand complex subject matters,” his intelligence “made it harder to relate to kids his age.” Still, he has a Master’s degree and another diploma on the way — plus some big dreams to cure diseases.

As per Debate México, Ian learned to read and speak perfectly at three years old and quickly became interested in molecular biology.

By seven, the child genius worked on a study about melanocyte regeneration in patients with vitiligo. 

As destiny would have it, Ian soon met a biomedical science professor at the University Center of Exact Sciences and Engineering, an entity of the University of Guadalajara.

The professor invited Ian to his class one day, which made the child realize his dream of becoming a pharmaceutical biochemist.

Ian told Debate that after the class, he realized, “Here is where I need to study, here is where they teach microbiology, chemistry, molecular biology, genetics, and all the subjects I like.”

Eventually, Ian’s mother knew it was time to transfer him to the university

As per Nación 321, Ian began his university career at nine years old. We know, it’s almost unheard of.

After receiving his certificates for primary, secondary and high school, the child prodigy transferred over to the University of Guadalajara. He told Informador, “I felt much better in university since there were more subjects.” Explaining, “They went deeper [into the subjects] just like I wanted.”

While he is already the world’s youngest molecular biologist, he will graduate with a pharmaceutical biochemistry degree on May 31. This means he will become the University of Guadalajara’s youngest graduate in history.

Ian’s dream is to continue his work in molecular biology, conducting studies and finding cures for diseases.

While he might go for his doctoral degree soon, he told Univision that studying at university is “extremely exciting, something [he] dreamed of and wanted.”

Saying, “The fact I’m achieving it is incredible.”
