Monday August 19th

More library study this afternoon. My final exam is in two days, so I’m planning on putting in a full day of studying both today and tomorrow. It’s actually nice to spend time immersed in studying. Especially when other things in my life are up in the air.

I’m hoping to be moving soon. However that’s always a lot to deal with, even at its’ easiest. So filling my mind with Greek History instead of moving concerns is a nice break.

It’s finally getting cool here. It was sweater temperature out this afternoon. I didn’t bring one, because I assumed it would be warmer, and thus missed out on a cardigan opportunity. Alas. This means it’ll be cooler more often now, though, which I welcome with open arms. This summer was too hot for me.

Wednesday August 14th

I’m on campus this afternoon. I have the final exam for my Greek History class in a week, so I am studying at the main library until supper. I have already done up my study schedule for the exam, and I know I will be prepared if I stick to it. So now it’s just an exercise in discipline.

It’s hot here today, so the ac in the library is very nice. I also got an iced matcha latte to help myself cool down and stay focused. It’s my emotional support venerate of the day.

Thursday December 14th

On campus again today. After picking up a book at the University College library, I’m working at Robart’s library this evening. But on a different floor this time to change things up.

As this paper nears completion the book stack gets larger. I am glad it will be finished today (it has to be, it’s due at midnight), but I will miss the process. It’s been nice to get back into the groove of schoolwork after everything.

Thursday September 12th

Third class day of the new fall semester, yay! And the second day of New Testament Greek classes. I am really excited for this course. I am taking three others as well.

I also got cast in the lead for the school’s upcoming production of Shakespeare’s King Lear. Rehearsals start tomorrow evening. Exciting!

Friday July 26th

I was on campus early for a midterm exam make-up test this morning. I think it went well. I forgot a few details, but overall I think I did alright. Now I have an hour until class, so I am enjoying the sunshine. I adore the combination of older and more modern architecture in this university building. I will do some work in a bit, but I’m taking a break first.

A morning study session in the cozy college library. It’s cold outside, so I am happy to be tucked away in the stacks. We’re heading into the last push of the semester; so it’ll be busy soon. However, I am so grateful to get to study my days away.

Working on a paper at the college library this afternoon. I think my college library is prettiest, but I’m probably biased. Featuring some lovely bookshelves in the sun, and the caramel brûlée latte I snuck in.

Tuesday, October 8th

Study sessions with my friend in the public library are saving my butt right now. I got sick, and have post-viral fatigue, so I have a bit of catching up to do. So thank goodness for my friend and these study sessions!

Our production of Shakespeare’s King Lear is coming right along. We open next Friday. I am very excited for the show and thrilled to be playing King Lear.
