#Eggman made out of an Eggman.

Eggman, Sage and Metal can now receive questions and will be used for random art pieces for the Au.

Little bit about the three (+ the hotel itself a bit):

Eggmanland-Hotel:

The hotel was built by Eggman who is currently undergoing a redemption arc. Which means that he will try to be good, but fail. Don't expect perfection, he's trying his best.

Why he's redeeming? Simple, he was lonely and then discovered that he still has an alive relative (Shadow) and decided to give his best shot by giving him a good life instead of doing the things in Sonic Adventure 2.

He tried a few work places while trying to give Shadow some sort of a childhood. Unfortunately he can't really do anything because of his past as a villain so he decided to buy some land and build the Eggmanland-Hotel.

It was hard to get anyone to work with him due to the past villainy so he first tried to build several robots to do the job.

Unfortunately the only one who was capable enough was Metal Sonic.

At some point Amy joined in and some followed after her which made it much easier for him to find someone for the work.

Eggman discovered the way of outsourcing after a while and decided to do that to make the work easier.

(Outsourcing: use a different company for specific kinds of work, like security, housekeeping, cooks etc)

He got some people for the night shifts and some for the housekeeping because the rest of the workplaces had enough people and these kinds of workplaces were understaffed.

There is no real need for security because this is more of a hotel for families with children.

It has:

-2 playgrounds (one specifically for toddlers, the other for children), they are next to each other

-daycare (no matter how much a parent loves their child, sometimes they need a break)

-a chao garden

-a restaurant

-and all the other stuff a hotel needs

Eggman:

He is the owner and manager. He tries his best with the work plans but unfortunately it is hard to plan ahead in a hotel because guests are unpredictable. So he is currently trying to just make the workplans for the next two weeks. (which also is hard due to the unpredictability of the guests)

He adopted Shadow after finding him and decided to call Metal his son as well. Shadow asked him to adopt Rouge as well after a while and at some point he created Belle and Sage.

On April the first, Shadow and Rouge decided to ask him for a younger sibling as a joke.

Fortunately, Eggman forgot to look at the calendar and created Omega e-123.

Cubebot and Orbbot are often the babysitters for them.

Metal

There isn't much to tell about her except that she is still mute and discovered that she's actually a girl. Eggman was first confused but got over it like a day after the revelation because he researched a lot.

So a few changes have been made.

She works in the hotel, but mostly in the kitchen to cook something or helps with the dishes.

She seems to be having fun at the work place because everyone is very nice.

Eggman is afraid that she might find out that not everyone is like that which is why she works at the stations with the least people around her. (Yes, Metal already knows, Eggman is just very terrified of making any kinds of mistakes)

Sage

She goes to school and is in the same class as Tails.

She also has some cat ears to look more alike with her siblings.

Unfortunately I have not many plans for her except for the the fact that she is the young sibling who is filled with more love than anyone can ever feel. (based on my youngest sister. I love her very much. I hope she'll always feel happiness no matter the situation.)

I also hate how good it turned out.

I'll admit I didn't know who this Mike Pollock guy was until now as I've never really been a Sonic fan, but seeing Hamas stans piss and shit themselves over him literally just acknowledging and wanting the return of the Israeli hostages, not saying anything anti-Palestine, has been strangely cathartic, if a bit infuriating. Like they'll throw a temper tantrum over a Jew that's not even a Zionist wishing for abducted innocent civilians to return home safely, meanwhile I see the third person this week who turns out to want me dead for being born here and just go "damn, another one to the pile.". Like I've seen his responses in the twitter thread and his stance seems to be peaceful and humanitarian. But nooooooo he's actually an (((evil Zionist))) because he... wants for both sides to live in peace instead of for Israelis to be murdered for existing. Ok but also the reason I'm making this post is because it's because of this I found out Mike Pollock is the voice actor for Greg from Ratatoing, a character I've been ironically obsessing over for ages and now will probably do so even more.

Just had a bit of an au idea. Idk if its an au, since its still the characters from the movies only they get transported into another universe, but still.

(Also, this is just an idea, nothing here is concrete. Some parts are still not finished quite yet.)

So how this universe works is that everyone has "rolls." These rolls being fictional archytypes, aka "the hero," "the main villain," "the side kick," "the damsel in distess," ect, ect. Now, each roll has a main objective. The main villain wants to conquer the world, the hero wants to stop the main villain, stuff like that. How you do it is irrelivent, getting there is all that matters.

Im thinking this world kinda revolves around stories, and the creation of them, but i still need to figure out how that would work. (Im thinking its kinda like shrek where a bunch of fairytale characters are thrown together into the same world, except the fairytale's are being made while everything plays out.)

Overall though, the world is very fantasy themed.

Now somehow, and idk how yet, stone, robotnik, and sonic get transported to this world. Each getting their own role and objective, with them needing to complete it in order to get back home. Not sure how completing it allows them to get back home, but i'll figure it out. Maybe they fucked with something they shouldn't have, and the price for it was needing to craft a story/fairytale in order to return, idk. Either way they need to do it.

So, as for their roles and objectives: Stone gets cast into the role of the main villain. He has two objectives, to 1. Conquer the neighboring kingdom (although thats subject to change,) and 2. To keep the damsel in distress to himself, forever. Of course, as the main villain, he has them captured already. But, when stone came into this world they were already captured for him, so he has never met them.

This is very important to note, because the damsel in distress, is robotnik. Honestly, i just made him the damsel on distress for shits and giggles, (and because hed look sick as hell in a wedding dress,) but its also semi important story wise.

As the damsel in distress, robotniks main objective is to "escape his roll as prisoner." Not to escape the castle, but to not be a prisoner anymore. Obviously, being a very litteral person, robotnik takes this as needing to physically escape.

Anyhow, sonic is important because he's the linch pin here.

You see, in order to escape, they have to complete their main objective: But, completing the main objective only returns the person who completed it home. So if robotnik were to escape then he would return home, however, since stone failed his quest to keep robotnik as his prisoner forever, he would be trapped in that world forever since he cant finish his main objective with robotnik gone. This naturally puts stone and robotnik at odds, even if they dont want to fight, but this is where sonic comes in clutch.

Sonic's roll here is "the evil henchman." Meaning he works for stone and helps stone. but, since stone's busy conquering the neighboring kingdom, he also looks after robotnik and makes sure he doesnt escape.

this is an important position for him to be in since his main objective is to "get the damsel in distress, and the main villain married, withought telling them his objective." If you were wondering, this, is why robotnik and stones objectives are so vauge. Its so that each of their objectives can be completed through marriage. Because Robotnik isnt a prisoner anymore if he marries stone, and stone has technically kept robotnik forever if he marries robotnik.

The only problem here is that sonic cant tell them his objective, otherwise, he fails it. Meaning he has to get them together in secret, which is harder said than done.

So while robotnik and stone (once they meet) are freaking out about how their going to complete both of their objectives.. with robotnik straight up avoiding stones proposed plan to sacrifice himself: sonic is in the backround loseing his mind over trying to get these two idiots to just KISS ALREADY!

Anyways, i might talk about more of the ideas i have for this au, because i do have more. But eh, idk. Depends on how motivated im feeling to flesh this out.
