don't wash your hair every day! i think everybody knows this but i know a couple people who still dont wash their hair only 2-3 times a week. obviously it depends on ur hair type but only wash your hair when it needs it!
don't wash your hair with scalding hot water either. its not only bad for your body and face but its also bad for your hair as it ruins the natural oils and damages cells etc
if you have frizzy or easily knotted hair i recommend keeping a comb on hand in the shower and using it to detangle before putting in any products
i've been emulsifying my shampoo for only a couple of weeks but my hair is sooo much fluffier afterwards so i definitely recommend that!!
now i'm torn on this one but apparently shampooing twice is better for your hair than doing it once? i tried it one time and it did not end well for my hair type but i know it works for a lot of people so if you wanna give it a try then go for it ♡
i squeeze excess water out of my hair before i put in my conditioner so i can completely get it in there without
also change your pillow case often! this is for your face too, as the oils will build up and thats not good for ur hair or face. i change it once a week but 2x a week is good too if you're able 💓
don't go to bed with wet hair. stop doing that. its super bad for your hair and keeping it pretty & fluffy & cute
airdrying is my holy grail, been doing it since i was little and dont regret a thing. its a billion times better than blow drying & makes ur hair so fluffy too ♡

DO NOT. HAVE. THE WATER. BOILING HOT. i am guilty of this and have been for years but it has such a bad impact and you shouldnt do it! cold showers are better but i prefer warm showers so theres a middle ground (& its always cold in england, so id freeze to death.)
using body lotion after the shower has been such a game changer for me its incredible. makes you smell nice, feel nice, look nice, and its so relaxing and i feel like a princess after i do it <3
exfoliating is really important if your aim is for soft skin 💓 i have been doing it for months and as somebody with super rough skin its SO soft now
partake in some form of exercise. i hated hated hated sports and exercise when i was younger but i did do dance up until i was eleven and have been doing pilates consistently for months now, and my mindset towards it has changed drastically over the years to finally a healthy one. it can be a difficult thing to get into but make it something you enjoy. it doesn't have to be sports. ill make a post on this soon but it can be pilates, kpop dances, running, hot girl walks, anything! and most importantly, do it for mental health and physical health, not losing weight.
make sure you're eating properly. remember that 1400 to 2400 calories of nutritious substance is the MINIMUM. this of course depends on many variables including, weight, height, BMR, what it is your eating, et cetera. your body is so important & is there to be nourished and not neglected !!! ♡ (💭🎀edit: updated info on calories and nutrition from a lovely anon i received a message from this morning! ♡)
change your bedsheets every week if you wanna smell good, this is so important bc sweat and odour will build up if u dont and thats icky and wont make u smell good & probably isnt the best for your skin either!
i also put two similar body washes on in the shower that i get SO many compliments on & its really helpful if one of your priorities is smelling good
dont just wash body wash straight off, let it sit for a few moments so the scent can actually sink into ur skin

skincare every morning & every night. if ur tired or just not feeling it today then simplify it, just make sure you never leave it out because its super important! no. skipping. no work = no reward.
on this note, try not to have a too complicated skincare routine, as this can backfire and make ur skin worse than before. your skin isnt meant for 18 different products and 200 chemicals every morning!
never wash your face with hot water... this is also a given but just in case... it strips your skin of its natural oils and does more harm than good
stop touching ur face... just for those who need a little reminder
make sure ur sleeping enough. seriously disney princess movies meant it when they talked ab beauty sleep; it seriously makes a difference, so please try make this a priority, especially if you already have dark circles like myself! (like girl did you see aurora's face? my girl's skin was so clear i could see my reflection)
pay attention to what makes ur face puffy or irritated or makes you get break outs. i keep a little break out log in my skincare page in my journal (little teaser for an upcoming post 🤭) and this has helped me go over what helps or hurts my skin! i recommend this especially if ur prone to acne or breakouts 💖
cold spoons in the morning to depuff your eyes; ive only been doing this a handful of times but im making it a habit seeing as it really helps! (as someone who can get vv puffy eyes 😭)
hydration is so important, for everything in this list, but most of all (from my experience) your face! i drink A Lot of water every day. probably a bit too much. but its so worth it, my skin has been absolutely amazing ever since i started actually making hydration a priority. (and this is coming from a girl who didnt touch a drop of water when she was younger & had to go hospital for dehydration several times.)
i'd recommend scrubbing ur lips too in the morning when you brush your teeth, i saw this on pinterest aaages ago bc i had super dry lips and i do it every morning & every night RELIGIOUSLY. its so so good and i definitely recommend
i have super dry lips in the morning so lip balm in the mornings w my skincare is absolutely essential for me
i also put perfume behind my ears & on my neck so its the first thing people smell when they hug me! im a very touchy person and i love hugs and i love showing love to people so this is essential for me but its optional, just makes you smell good ♡

Breakfast: Oats - 200 c@ls Lunch: Yogurt and muesli - 300 c@ls Frozen veggie mix - 80 c@ls Peanut butter ?? - 130 c@ls (idk why I ate this stuff) Dinner: Tomato soup - 200 cals Bread - 350 c@ls Lunch meat ?? - 100 c@ls A small cookie - 40 c@ls Total: 1390 c@ls (my BMR is 1350 so that isn't bad or anything) burnt - 500 c@ls 9,000 st3ps + workout + gardening (digging holes burns 250ish c@ls per hour) n3t - 890 n3t c@ls still unhappy with the c@ls but at least my n3t is decent enough and I can always workout more later. (edit, I just remembered I also had potatoes, just add on 150 c@ls to my n3t (new n3t: 1040))

-big brain idea that Lester glows this soft blue at night like he does in his aoroi state, and it's so pretty waaa
-Lester's main ideal that he has to help people no matter what. Imagine just how well he'll handle Jason's death. Like he will go BESERK and want to kill Caligula right then and there, but Apollo and Piper are about to be killed themselves. In Lester's furious state, is it vengeance or survival? (And yes, Lester won't ever be the same after this. He's more bitter and pretty much during BMR he's planning on killing Caligula himself. Then we'll get to him VS Commodus for the last time, and THAT BOY WILL BE AN ANIMAL.)
-Only Apollo was supposed to go to Delphi. Then Python pulled one of his cruelest moves yet. No spoilers :3
-Before the group went to pick up Jason, Lester had an unwanted visitor in his dreams. He has a horrible feeling that when they find Caligula's base, not everyone will come back. That message said nothing good. Nooo spoooileerss :33
-After Apollo is restored to godhood, Lester is more than thrilled about his own survival and that he and Apollo succeeded. After some much needed time with his family, he goes back to Camp Half Blood to catch up with everyone, but when asked about Apollo, he's got nothing. He doesn't know if Apollo made it, and it tears at him. He spends some time at camp to improve his skills (and maybe learn a thing or two) and after a few days, he hears the campers screaming his name in joy. When he goes to investigate, Lester completely breaks down upon seeing himself, but that's not himself because it was Apollo, and he just... OH. He charges him, gives him a big ol hug, and gives him a lil smooches despite their audience. Lester doesn't care, Apollo is alive and that's all he cares about.
-I'm thinking that the ending will be super wholesome. Just our two dorks, laying in Lester's bed, and he's just talking about everything he's been through with Apollo. He says that his one gripe was the fact that he never got to see Apollo's real appearance, as Apollo now saw Lester without the edits made for his punishment. That prompts Apollo to get up and show his godly appearance to him, and Lester almost faints from the gorgeous sight. "I've gotta stop staring or I'll have testosterone overload. Holy shit. You're hot." Apollo laughs off the comment and admits that he's more comfortable as Lester himself, but with his blessing he'll change it a little so as to not be confused with him. Lester agrees and they go back to cutesy cuddly cuddling ITS ADORABLE SHUT UP

My mom made me end my 24hr fast 2 hours early ugh... It's alright 2 hours is fine. My crush also said I looked different today (nothing changed) so now I'm determined to lose a lot of weight so he can see a real difference :P total cals for the day is 550 and burnt including BMR is probably about 1,700? (The day isn't over yet so idrk) So net is about -1,150? Love u guys!
EDIT: UMM I FORGOT ITS MY DADS BIRTHDAY SO I HAVE TO EAT CAKE... The bakery my mom buys from has mini cakes so its like a single serving so I have to eat AT LEAST half of one... I got a little cheesecake so it's a little skinny I guess

The 48h delay strikes again, a timely reminder that this is a repetitive stress injury not something that’ll be easily fixed by having another source of stress (impacted teeth) on the nerve removed. I got one line of hair into my beautiful BMR Pazette from @maleficentmrsofallevil​ as the pain rolled in like a storm over the mountains.��
It’s fine though, what i’ve been doing is having the dolls out on display (sometimes with their heads in their laps) with a baggie of hair attached so maybe next weekend, i’ll add that second line and some plugs to finish Pazette, give her some curls later. They’re not out of sight out of mind, I can glance over and see that “I own a shiny”, get that dopamine hit that I wasn’t getting from a WIP project drawer.

hi bb. i've been going through your blog and it's been so nice to see an account FINALLY promoting things that won't make you spiral further into yourself. although, i did notice on your beauty secrets post that further down under the body section, you mentioned that you should be consuming 2000 to 2400 cals per day and i just wanted in a non-critical way to offer a small insight into the fact that may be harmful for some people, espicially someone who might not be very educated into nutrition. this is not me saying that what you said about an ideal daily intake isn't correct, but more so that it isn't correct for everyone. from my knowledge (which is a fair amount since i'm very into nutrition and food), a healthy intake taking into consideration your demographic of what i assume to be a majority of teenage girls, would rather be anywhere from 1400 to 2400 of nutritious substance. this of course depends on many variables including, weight, height, BMR, what it is your eating, et cetera. if you care to change it of course, i would love to see you promote healthy eating and balanced diet rather than calories. love your blog, and i wish you all the best.

I want Carousel to be updated before Hobi's story comes out since my writing style will be completely different and it'll show when you put them together haha *nervous laugh* *so embarrassing*
Oooohh I think Carousel Yoongi is everyone's crush at some point. for me, he still is!

Today isn't an official weigh-in day, but next week looks promising. Plus, I was planning on fasting this weekend. When I fast, I don't eat my than my bmr (1500). I also stay sedentary and I can drink as much caffeine as I want.
Still hoping to be 145 by my bday on April 28. Honestly, as long as I'm in the 150s or even the 160s. Anything over 175 is considered obese. That's only 15 lbs though, so I consider myself a very fat person.
From a Law of Assumption point of view, that's bad. I'm affirming that I'm a fat person when I should be affirming that I'm a fit, active, and healthy woman.
My nyr is to walk 3x a week for 30+ minutes. I dont care about steps, all that matters is that I leave the house. I also should make a rule that I socialize with 1 new person every other day/ 3x a week. Meeting new people makes small talk with new people enjoyable, instead of awkward and uncomfortable.

I saw a post where multiple people said they weigh themselves EVERYDAY. I think more than once a week is too much ... and yet here I am weighing myself 2x this week and about to do it a 3rd time tmw (and again on Monday, the official weigh in day).
I hare junk food. I have no impulse control.
I also need to read about emotional flashbacks. Last year in January and February I had 3 surgeries.
I'm super motivated to be 145 by April 28. I'm definitely anxious about what success means. I know I need to take it 1 day at a time but ...
I also think I get bored and lonely.

Witch and God : L'enlèvement de Circé de Liv Stone
Non sans une certaine appréhension, je l'avoue ! Car j'aimais beaucoup Ella dans le tome 1, que le fait de suivre un nouveau personnage me faisait un peu peur. Et si j'accrochais moins au caractère de Circé ou à la romance ? Et bien… Que nenni ! Partons-nous sur un second coup de coeur ? 🧡
Sans spoiler le tome 1, nous suivons Circé, la soeur aînée d'Ella, qui est destinée à être la prochaine guide de la communauté de sorcières de Springfall. Outre toute l'intrigue et les (més)aventures qui lui arrivent, il y a dans ce tome-ci une véritable quête identitaire. Circé est-elle prête à endosser le rôle qui lui incombe ou, tout du moins, s'en sent-elle capable ? Un véritable chemin intérieur l'attend et qui reste tout autant inspirant. Par ailleurs, c'est une femme affirmée avec une répartie cinglante (chose à laquelle je suis toujours sensible 😂).
La majorité du roman se passe dans les enfers, et c'était captivant de découvrir ce royaume au travers de ses décors, son fonctionnement, son organisation et encore plus son peuple. Liv Stone s'approprie les légendes et les caractéristiques des enfers avec brio, j'en étais ravie ! Un royaume qui semble si effrayant, et pourtant dans lequel règne une certaine paix. De nombreuses révélations pour le futur que j'ai trouvé exaltant ! Ca annonce du lourd pour le tome 3 💪
Bon, on va pas se mentir, la romance est absolument addictive et frustrante par moment 😏
Autre chose que j'ai grandement appréciée, c'est la place de Zeus dans cette trilogie. Dès le premier tome, il est présenté comme un dieu colérique, voire un tyran. Mais dans ce second volume, ce côté-là est davantage soulevé. On le mentionne même pour ce qu'il est, et je cite : "un prédateur". Le plus souvent dans les films, il est montré comme le maître de tous les dieux, comme un "père" pour certains héros. Mais il ne faut pas oublier comment sont nées la plupart de ces légendes, et les manipulations dont Zeus a dû user auprès des femmes pour obtenir ses exigences. Je m'y intéresse de très loin à cette mythologie, je l'avoue, mais Witch and God a l'avantage de le détrôner de son piédestal, et à raison selon moi.
