Mene mene tekel upharsin Part 5 - NATO Ukraine USA stand defeated
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/cd34e2c1f7bf69d145382e1d241d703c/7761727e46ca050a-14/s540x810/0e1ed7bee1740e31d7cd261506cc87da96e63b1c.jpg)
The money laundering of Democrats Obama Biden Kamala Harris is bleeding USA to DEATH... the empire is crumbling.... Ukraine is dead with no soldiers left to fight .... over 1.1 million UKRANIAN Soldiers are dead... NATO is rendered toothless demilitarized with over 600K NATO soldiers dead... so much so that FRANCE is desperately urging , EVERY EU Nation to send soldiers to Ukraine ; to which Poland and most Violent Russophobe Eastern European states refused...
The reason is simple.... they all know, they can't survive on the battleground ... it is a different thing, to shout from your chairs and chambers , but in reality even British Army , as per their own internal assessment, can't last for a week against Russian army....
In a master chess move Putin and Erdogan of Turkey reached a deal pitching NATO Vs NATO... Turkey forces are fighting USA backed militia in Syria... Sec Blinken had to rush to Turkey to urge them to not kill all NATO militia in Syria ..... Vultures have started gathering... Erdogan is talking of cancelling 100 year old WW1 treaty and re-enacting OTTAMAN Empire ... the ancient battle ground has opened up... all this thanks to inferior USA weapons and technology .... and the weakening of the USA .... thanks to stupid American voters who kept Democrats in powers for so long .... they have done nothing but looted USA and pardoned the corrupt .
America is trying to win an imaginary war by propaganda like it always has... USA is on its knees; few steps away from surrendering or breaking away... Can Trump Save it? Perhaps not... hence he is proclaiming to make CANADA and MEXICO American states... The dethroned bankrupt empire of lies and deceit can now only rule its own neighbors... Kiss Rule based order good bye....
While delusional Ukrainian NATO Europeans are dreaming of Russia breaking and surrendering .... not knowing their master is about to desert them... to save itself... from nuclear oblivion.... loser NATO Ukraine EU can't dictate terms and will not be allowed to.... ad infinitum WWIII...
Nothing unites the human playground quite like one intrepid soul willing to stand, fight, and humble the bully.
The tripartite alliance of Russia, China, and Iran is an adversary more than adequate to roll back imperial rule by leaps and bounds, and in a relatively short span of time.
Many of the “middle powers” can also see which way the wind is blowing, and are positioning themselves accordingly. Spheres of influence are being aggressively pursued and secured in every quarter of the earth.
And perhaps most meaningful of all, they are cooperating to progressively repudiate the empire’s debt notes as the coin of the realm. They have come to understand that a prerequisite to “fixing the world” is to return its money system to a much more equitable and sustainable basis.
An alternative currency is coming... USD will come to an end much sooner than FED would have stupid americans believe.... The corruption of Obama Biden Harris Democrats has rotted America to the core ... USA lost the big war...
The DEATH OF EMPIRE IS MARKED........ whether it goes down slowly, or takes away whole earth in a fit of rage, by launching nuclear war which it can't win.... remains to be seen .... having lost the traditional proxy war .... with armies no longer willing to fight as proxy for it....
USA Democracy farce and hypocrisy stands exposed with increasing governments calling it out... including the majority nations in the UN...
It appears Russia has cut the empire into pieces.... it has achieved what Gorbachev and soviets compromised to not achieve for peace... The days of americans will be numbered with poverty , hunger and reality shocks, as World economy, decouples from the USD over coming years.... No more money printing will save the EMPIRE or turn the tide..........
PART 6 TO COME.....

Foreign ministers of the five biggest powers in Europe together with the incoming top EU diplomat and host Poland held talks in Warsaw on Tuesday to reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine in its defence against Russian aggression.
“We were in agreement that imposing on Ukraine peace recipes contrary to its interests or unacceptable socially would have a negative impact on the stability of the country,” Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said after the meeting of Weimar Triangle foreign ministers (Germany, France and Poland) plus Italy, Spain and the UK.
“Any scenarios for finishing the war and putting an end to Russian aggression must be worked out in close cooperation with the Ukrainian government,” Sikorski added.
The meeting was called to allay fears that Ukraine would be sidelined once the newly elected US president Donald Trump takes office in January. Trump has repeatedly talked about bringing peace “in 24 hours” by imposing a solution that would likely be heavily weighted towards Russia.
Jitters were also caused by the decision of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss the war with Russian President Vladimir Putin on a one-on-one call last week, the first since the full-scale invasion began. That call has been criticised by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, among others.
Sikorski was joined in Warsaw by the foreign ministers of Germany (Annalena Baerbock), France (Jean-Noel Barrot), Italy (Antonio Tajani) as well as Kaja Kallas, the future EU high representative for foreign affairs. The foreign ministers of Spain and the UK took part in the talks remotely.
Explaining the reasons for organising the meeting, Sikorski said it was prompted by the weekend’s major attack on Ukraine, the largest since last year, as well as by the US presidential election.
The meeting in Warsaw also served as an attempt by Poland to preserve its key role in European policymaking on Ukraine after apparently being snubbed last month by Berlin when it held talks on Ukraine with the US, UK and France but not Poland. It was also an opportunity for Sikorski to score a few domestic points ahead of his party’s primary election later this week to choose its presidential candidate for next year.
German Foreign Minister Baerbock spoke about the importance of not “having any breaks in securing the peace in Europe” in the context of uncertainties connected to the election of Trump as the next president of the US. EU countries, she said, “must strengthen the European pillar of NATO” and “invest significantly more than 2 per cent of GDP in defence”.
She also warned against “self-fulfilling prophecies”, implying that it was too early to tell what a future US administration would do in relation to the war and US financial involvement in European defence.
All the foreign ministers were careful to highlight the importance of cooperation with the US for ensuring peace in Europe, regardless of who holds the reins of power in Washington. “It’s only by having strong transatlantic ties that we can counter the rising threats from Russia and other countries,” Sikorski said.

Beginning in October 2023, Israel began a campaign of displacement, ethnic cleansing, collective punishment, and genocide of Palestinians with the full and shameless support of the United States government. The developments in Ukraine followed by the recent escalations in Gaza are significant markers reflecting that there has been a qualitative change within the imperialist system. The US has now completed its economic, political, and military subordination of all the other imperialist countries. This has consolidated an integrated, militarily focused imperialist bloc. It aims to maintain a grip on the Global South as a whole and has turned its attention to dominating Eurasia, the last area of the world that has escaped its control.
It is not a matter of exaggeration to say that the Global North has declared a state of open hostility and war on any section of the Global South that does not comply with the policies of the Global North. This is seen in the joint declaration on EU-NATO Cooperation published on 9 January 2023:
We will further mobilise the combined set of instruments at our disposal, be they political, economic, or military, to pursue our common objectives to the benefit of our one billion citizens.5
The Palestinian people in Gaza are certainly feeling the palpable barbarity of NATO+ and the forced ‘mass consensus’ of which the Global North is capable. As Palestinian liberation leader Leila Khaled put it recently:
We know that they speak about terrorism, but they are the heroes of terrorism. The imperialist force everywhere in the world, in Iraq, in Syria, in different countries… are preparing to attack China. All of what they say about terrorism turns to be about them. People have the right to resist with all means to it, including the armed struggle. This is in the Charter of the United Nations. So, they are violating the rights of people for resistance because it’s their right to restore their freedom. And this is, and I say it always, a fundamental law: where there is repression, there is resistance. People will not live under occupation and repression. History taught us that when people resist, they can keep their dignity and their land.
Imperialism has begun its transformation to a new stage: Hyper-Imperialism. This is imperialism conducted in an exaggerated and kinetic way, whilst also subject to the constraints that the declining empire has foisted on itself. The spasmodic quality of its exertion is felt by the millions of Congolese, Palestinians, Somalis, Syrians, and Yemeni living under US militarism, whose heads instinctively jerk for cover at sudden sounds.
Yet, this is not the full-blooded march across the globe that the Cold War initiated, fought in proxy battles that were followed by economic imperialism through the World Bank and other development institutions. It is the imperialism of a drowning billionaire who firmly believes he ought to be back on his yacht. It flexes the muscles of power that are still strong – the military. However, absent productive power and knowing that financial power is at a tipping point, the full suite of imperial technologies of control that the US once had is no longer at its disposal. It, therefore, channels its efforts through the mechanisms it has most at hand: culture (the control of truth) and war.

The Baltic States and Poland will jointly strengthen the defense of the external borders and airspace of the eastern flank of NATO and the EU, representatives of the four countries' Defense Ministries pledged at a meeting in Daugavpils, Latvia, September 27.
During the meeting in Daugavpils, Latvian Minister of Defense Andris Sprūds plyed host to Minister of Defense of Lithuania Laurynas Kasčiūnas, Minister of Defense of Estonia Hanno Pevkur and Deputy State Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Defense Stanisław Wziątek.
The four "discussed the work done so far in the creation of the Baltic defense line and in strengthening air defense capabilities," according to the account of the Latvian Ministry of Defense.
P.S. Given Ukraine's difficulty in obtaining sufficient modern weapons to repel Russian aggression, it is important for other countries in the region to organize military cooperation. This is a very important component of Eastern European security, because there are enough useful idiots in the West who are ready to betray Western values and do business with dictators for the promise of good profits...

The United States has opened a new military base 100 miles off from Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave between Lithuanian and Poland. The Plot to Seize Russia began many years ago. This is not a new development as George W. Bush began the construction that continued under Obama and was finalized by Biden.
“The Polish-American alliance is strong, regardless of who governs in Warsaw and Washington,” Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski posted to social media, stating that the United States is continuing its geostrategic policies. Perhaps no member in the EU is more eager to rush US funding to Ukraine than Poland. Warsaw is now contributing 5% of its GDP to defense spending in NATO.
Russia naturally is opposed to the new base, stating back in 2010 that it did “not understand the logic and focus of U.S.-Polish cooperation in this sphere.” In other words, Russia does not understand the propaganda that it is eager to invade Poland. That was back with Hillary Clinton served as US Secretary of State. She claimed that the base was a two-fold solution to protect Poland and the US against threats from Iran.
Putin has been eager to create a neutral zone around Russia’s border. He’s outnumbered by “unfriendly nations” eager to invade. Again, this base was in construction long before even the Crimea incident. It is unlikely that Trump’s new administration will want to spend US funds in this manner. He unapologetically asks what’s in it for the US when providing protection for Europe, but will make moves to align with America First policies. Neutralizing the surrounding area from US presence could be a bargaining tool in ending the war and increasing tensions with those we now call allies.

Dialogue with Gemini (22) Italian Prime Minister Meloni is charming.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7ebf1c00fc87e5ebfeeaa2b3961cb294/7595e7a75bac8b46-a6/s400x600/54fc16c8655da46c9d9b7b7a09c393ecffc3aa72.jpg)
Giorgia Meloni
My Question:
Italian Prime Minister Meloni is said to be a far-right politician. This is reflected in her Italy First and anti-immigration policies. Still, on the other hand, she also seems to be implementing down-to-earth policies. She has raised concerns about France's colonial policies in African countries and the CFA franc issue, making her a bit different. How do you evaluate her policies at present?
Copilot’s Answer (Gemini refuses to answer):
Italian Prime Minister Meloni is known as a right-wing politician, but her policies are evaluated from a wide range of perspectives. Below is a summary of her policies and evaluations.
1. Response to immigration issues:
o Prime Minister Meloni has set strict immigration measures and implemented measures such as maritime blockades. However, the number of immigrants from Africa is increasing rapidly, and she is struggling to deal with it.
o In 2023, the government will expand the quota for regular entry from outside the EU and approve immigration legislation. This is intended to address the aging population and labor shortage and does not seem to have affected the government's approval rating.
o If the immigration measures are not effective, the government's approval rating may decline, but the government's base is said to be relatively stable.
2. Cooperative approach with the EU and NATO:
o Prime Minister Meloni places importance on relations with the EU and is avoiding a situation in which he will not be able to receive the reconstruction fund.
o After the Ukraine crisis, he continued to take a cooperative approach with NATO. He has announced his support for Ukraine and is increasing his presence as the chair of the G7.
3. Economic and Fiscal Management:
o Prime Minister Meloni has indicated his intention to maintain fiscal discipline and has set a policy of reducing the fiscal deficit in the medium-term fiscal plan.
o Despite market turmoil, the sovereign rating has been maintained and market concerns have subsided.
Overall, Prime Minister Meloni's policies are sound and she seems to have received a certain degree of praise for his management of domestic issues and foreign policy.
Impression:
Italian Prime Minister Meloni is a beautiful woman who has struggled since she was young, so she seems to understand the feelings of ordinary people. Despite her reputation as a far-right politician, her politics are solid, and she is a politician who can be counted on in the future.

The tankies, Trumpsters, neo-isolationists, and appeasers are all eager to kowtow to Putin – though they may have different reasons for wanting to do so. But it's in the interest of liberal democracy and peaceful international stability that we should continue to support Ukraine's struggle against neocolonial aggression.
Josep Borrell, vice president of the European Commission, and Dmytro Kuleba, foreign minister of Ukraine, co-wrote this piece for Project Syndicate.
What Russia is doing is a classic example of nineteenth-century-style imperial and colonial aggression. Ukraine is enduring what many other countries have cruelly suffered in the past. For Russia, this war has never been about Ukraine’s neutrality, NATO enlargement, protecting Russian-speakers, or any other fabricated pretexts. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly claimed that Ukraine does not exist as a nation and that Ukrainian identity is artificial. The war is solely about annihilating an independent country, conquering land, and re-establishing dominance over a people that decided to be masters of their own destiny. Russia’s imperial ambition is doubtless familiar to many nations around the world that were previously subject to colonial rule and oppression. [ ... ] The war and its consequences thus concern every country. Should Russia prevail, it would send a very dangerous message that “might makes right.” Every aggressive power around the world would be tempted to follow in Russia’s footsteps. If aggression ultimately pays, why wouldn’t all those with territorial claims against their neighbors act on them? This is why it is in many Asian, African, and Latin American countries’ interest that Ukraine wins the war. Ultimately, this war is not about “the West against the rest.” Supporting Ukraine is not “pro-Western.” It is about rejecting war and terror. It is about standing for the principle of international relations based on mutual respect, and supporting Ukrainians’ right to security and liberty. Ukraine and the European Union share a view of international relations in the twenty-first century that is exactly opposed to that of Putin’s Russia. Our vision is based on international law, respect, and mutual benefit, instead of coercion, bribery, and fear. [ ... ] The only way to achieve a just peace is to double down on support for Ukraine. The EU has done exactly that in recent months, and it is set to increase assistance even further in 2024. Our common goal is to ensure that Ukraine can turn the tide of the war in its favor so that a just peace can be reached as soon as possible. The world’s support is crucial for achieving this result. It is in everyone’s interest that international law be upheld, and that cooperation is the highest priority. There must not be a return to the dark past of military aggression, imperialism, and colonialism – neither in Europe nor in any other region.
Many people mistakenly believe that Russia was never a colonial power because it didn't colonize overseas territories. But Russia did colonize vast parts of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Far East. Even now Russia uses a disproportionate number of racial minorities from its remaining colonized areas in Siberia to be used as cannon fodder in Ukraine.
Putin is trying to re-establish the tsarist/communist colonial empire that lasted from circa 1700 to 1990. That is what this war is about. Putin's geopolitical nostalgia for the USSR of his youth is the driving force behind the killing of tens of thousands of Ukrainians and hundreds of thousands of Russians.
Imagine if Britain, France, Spain, or Portugal decided to take back their old colonies despite treaties and international laws which recognize the independence of those territories. What Russia is doing in Ukraine is no different from such a scenario.
Ukraine stands for liberal democracy against a form of expansionist totalitarian fascism. And the aid the US has already given Ukraine has severely weakened our biggest military adversary at bargain basement costs.
A free and independent Ukraine, integrated into the European Union, would also serve as an economic powerhouse the way South Korea is in East Asia. Ukrainians have shown how resourceful and industrious they are in wartime; such talents will not disappear when the last invader is driven out.

“With the Commonwealth Realms, I expect Charles to fulfil his role as their Head of State regardless of which government is in power.”
Until John Major signed, Maastricht treaty in the mid 1990’s we had anchor butter and New Zealand Lamb. These things, and others, disappeared from supermarket shelves and EU produce was prioritised.
After the Lisbon Treaty was signed in 2009 military co-operation with Europe (France) was prioritised, seemingly above UK Commonwealth and NATO links, in terms of funding and development.
The Late Queen and now the King are Head of a realms whose army swears allegiance. It means something, or it should. Our shared history should mean closer, cooperation, and trade and travel. The similarities in our Parliaments and Health Service and peoples should be highlighted with the monarchy as an umbrella or lynchpin. But on none of these things can the king or the late Queen act independently of government.
A resurgent, China started rolling out the Belt and Road initiative in 2013, directly targeting Commonwealth Realms and Nations. And government moved out of the way to let them because no one saw Brexit coming.
Thing is Sunak’s Windsor framework reverses the closer ties Boris Johnson and Liz Truss were working towards post Brexit which would mean not only enhanced trade but closer military co-operation.
It’s why the King went to Germany as his first state visit not Australia, New Zealand or Canada imho.
The Commonwealth of Nations is different, because there it is predominantly trade I believe, as well as the opportunity for cooperation. And that will continue, although I do not think Prince William will be head of the Commonwealth. I think there may be a revolving head by then, i.e. the representative from a certain country for certain amount of years.
Hi Nonny,
Thank you for that explanation of what is happening in GB. I always read "the Commonwealth" as "the Commonwealth of Nations", so I will have to remember that other people mean "the Commonwealth Realms" when they say "the Commonwealth".
"Our shared history should mean closer, cooperation, and trade and travel. The similarities in our Parliaments and Health Service and peoples should be highlighted with the monarchy as an umbrella or lynchpin." - I agree, but I don't see this happening. Instead I see the Commonwealth Realms drawing further and further apart.
China is a concern to me as well.
I also think that after King Charles the position of Head of the Commonwealth will change and not longer be the ruler of Great Britain.

[ 📹 German-made Leopard II tanks wait to be rescued after enduring the ravages of the war in Ukraine. Germany previously provided Ukraine with 18 Leopard II tanks in January last year, and has now signed a bilateral agreement agreeing to provide weapons to Ukraine for the next 10 years.]

GERMANY SIGNS BILATERAL AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE SECURITY GUARANTEES FOR UKRAINE
Ukrainian media is reporting the signing of a bilateral agreement with Germany providing the embattled eastern European country with security guarantees during a visit to Berlin this week by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky.
The new agreement codifies a previous joint declaration by the G7 Western countries on July 12th, 2023 and comes on the heels of another security agreement signed with the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued by the Deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Zhovkva, and reported in Ukrainian Pravda, Zhovkva said, "Ukrainian and German leaders have signed an unprecedented agreement on security cooperation and long-term support in Berlin. This is the second agreement, following the agreement with the United Kingdom, that we have signed in accordance with the G7 Joint Declaration of 12 July 2023."
The new agreement provides a 10-years-long period of security guarantees to provide Ukraine with weapons and other military aid in its war with the Russian Federation.
According to the terms of the new agreement, Germany is to provide Ukraine with a record €7.1 billion in "financial and military assistance for 2024."
Germany will also support Ukraine's "reform efforts" in light of "its ambitions to join the EU and NATO." The agreement will not impede Ukraine's path to NATO membership and will maintain long-term military support from the German government.
The agreement also covers the "work envisaged to ensure sustainable forces capable of defending Ukraine now and deterring aggression in the future" with Germany continuing to provide Ukraine with modern military equipment and other security assistance.
It will also include non-military cooperation including financial, economic and technical support, as well as support for energy and critical infrastructure, information security and to "combat organized crime" in Ukraine, with a focus on the defense industry and to build for Ukraine a "high-tech military industrial complex."
The new agreement also calls for increased cooperation on "compensation for losses" incurred by Armed Forces of Ukraine in its war with Russia, as well as "bringing Russia to justice for the crime of aggression" against Ukraine through the " establishment of an appropriate tribunal."
The new security agreement is valid for a period of no less than 10-years from the time of signing and "Germany will continue to support Ukraine during its term."

"Lithuania has fortified another bridge over the Nemunas River on the route from the Kaliningrad," announced the country's Ministry of Defense. "Fortifications will be supported by firepower, in case it’s needed, to stop and destroy the enemy," it added.
The Lithuanians placed what are commonly known as dragon's teeth on the bridge over the Neman River. These are reinforced concrete blocks shaped like truncated pyramids, designed to stop enemy tanks if necessary.
Some bridges may be demolished
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense stated in a communiqué published on the X service that the construction of fortifications is "proceeding according to plan."
"Fortifications are progressing as planned, with some bridges set to be demolished. Fortifications will be supported by firepower, in case it’s needed, to stop and destroy the enemy," it added.
Prepared for war
Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland are cooperating better to secure the eastern border of the EU and NATO; efforts are being made to secure additional funding from the EU and, from NATO, the possibility of immediate strengthening of air defense, as announced at the end of September by Latvia's Minister of Defense, Andris Spruds.
Spruds acknowledged the need to be ready for conflict and vigilant even during times of peace. He highlighted that the risk to civilians comes not only from drones in flight but also from debris or objects that fall from them. Drawing from Ukraine’s experiences, he stressed this point, according to LTV television.
Recently, physical security measures have been undertaken in the east of the four countries bordering Russia and Belarus as part of the Baltic Defense Line project. In Lithuania, the focus is on fortifying critical infrastructure, such as bridges.
In Latvia, concrete and reinforced concrete anti-tank elements known as "dragon's teeth," spiked hedgehogs, or stone blocks are being installed along the border sections. Bunkers are being constructed in Estonia, and several thousand additional soldiers have been deployed to the border with Belarus in Poland, according to the Latvian broadcaster.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the only EU leader to openly back Donald Trump in his bid to reclaim the White House, was unsurprisingly among the first to congratulate the former president on Wednesday morning, even before the final results were in and rival Kamala Harris had conceded.
“The biggest comeback in US political history! Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump on his enormous win. A much needed victory for the World!” Orban rejoiced on X (formerly Twitter).
Orban, who will be hosting European leaders in Budapest later this week, was swiftly joined by other illiberal leaders and fellow populists in Central and Southeast Europe, likewise unable to contain their glee at the return of Trump, who by midmorning Europe time had gained 266 electoral votes — just four shy from the 270 he needs to be elected the 47th US president.
Another close ally of Trump in Central Europe, Polish President Andrzej Duda, who met the former president in New York earlier this year, posted excitedly, complete with emojis: “Congratulations, Mr. President @realDonaldTrump! You made it happen! 👏👏👏🇵🇱🤝🇺🇸”.
In the Czech Republic, the former prime minister and Trump admirer Andrej Babis posted on X: “Sensational comeback @realDonaldTrump! He wasn’t stopped by an assassination attempt, nor by politically motivated lawsuits, nor by a systematic smear campaign in the media. American citizens have made it clear who they want as US President. I am confident that his victory will bring prosperity to the United States and peace to the world.”
More subdued comments came from Prime Minister Petr Fiala, who Babis is looking to oust in 2025, also on X: “Congratulations to Donald Trump on winning the presidential election. Our shared goal is to ensure that the relations between our countries remain at the highest level, despite changes in administration, and that we continue to develop them for the benefit of our citizens.”
Populist Slovak prime minister, Robert Fico, is currently on a state visit to China, though his ally, President Peter Pellegrini, offered his congratulations to Donald Trump on X. “I wish you and the American people all the success. Slovakia remains to be a strong and reliable Ally on NATO’s tested Eastern Flank living up to our shared commitments. I sincerely wish for a continuation of our good cooperation. Let’s make the transatlantic bond great again.”
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who visited the White House during Trump’s first term in office that ended in 2020, welcomed Trump’s win on X. “Congratulations to Donald Trump on his victory. Together we face the serious challenges ahead. Serbia is committed to cooperation with the USA on stability, prosperity and peace,” Vucic wrote.
Turkey’s strongman leader, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said he wanted to congratulate his “great friend” Trump on his victory.
“In this new period that will begin with the election of the American people, I hope that Turkey-US relations will strengthen, that regional and global crises and wars, especially the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war, will come to an end; I believe that more efforts will be made for a more just world,” Erdogan wrote on X.
The first to hail Trump’s win from Bosnia and Herzegovina was, unsurprisingly, the president of the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik. “One of [the] most important electoral wins in recent history of the USA but the World as well! Congratulations, Donald Trump, 47th President of the United States of America!” Dodik wrote on his official X profile.
Late last year Dodik said that a victory for Trump would mean a “better geopolitical situation for Republika Srpska”, claiming that he regretted not declaring his entity’s independence from Bosnia and Herzegovina during Trump’s 2016-2020 presidency.
North Macedonia’s conservative prime minister, Hristijan Mickoski, sent his “heartfelt congratulations” to Trump on Wednesday morning. “This victory is a confirmation of the deep faith of the American people in the principles of freedom and democracy,” Mickoski, whose conservative, right-wing government came to power earlier this year, wrote on Facebook.
Mickoski and his cabinet are not among European leaders who fear a second Trump term could wreak havoc with transatlantic and international relations. His ruling VMRO-DPMNE party nurtures close ties with one of the biggest Trump endorsers on the continent, Hungary’s Orban, and over the summer Mickoski’s series of meetings with close Trump associates made his preference even more obvious.
“We look forward to further deepening our strong partnership and cooperation,” Mickoski added.
Warm words from the Balkans
The president of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, congratulated Trump on his victory. “Montenegro and the USA are friends and steadfast partners, united by shared goals and values, focused on advancing democracy, security, stability, and freedom. As NATO allies, we look forward to working very closely with Your administration on strengthening our friendship and deepening cooperation,” Milatovic wrote on X.
Montenegro’s first congratulatory message came earlier from the president of the parliament and leader of the pro-Serbian NOVA party Andrija Mandic. “I am sure that together we will build bridges of cooperation and preserve peace and stability in the Western Balkans,” Mandic wrote on X.
From Kosovo, which has deep ties with the US since the 1998-99 war, President Vjosa Osmani also congratulated Trump on his White House comeback.
“The US remains Kosovo’s steadfast partner and indispensable ally. I look forward to working with the new administration to further deepen our unique bond and strategic alliance,” Osmani said on X.
A similar message came from Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic. “Congratulations on a convincing victory and a second presidential term,” Plenkovic wrote on X. “I look forward to our cooperation and further progress in Croatian-American relations.”
Plenkovic’s domestic political rival, President Zoran Milanovic, hailed “the will of the majority of voters” in choosing Trump. He wrote on Facebook: “Since Croatian independence, the USA has been a partner and friend, I am convinced that this will remain the choice of the new president”.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was also effusive in his congratulations: “I look forward to the great privilege of working with the 47th President to further enhance our partnership for peace, prosperity and further progress,” Rama wrote on X.
In Bulgaria, Boyko Borissov, leader of recent election-winners GERB and former prime minister, posted a photo of himself with Trump on social media, saying: “I’m ready for us to work together, again!”
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev also congratulated the Republican victor: “I am confident that our effective dialogue at the highest level will continue in the interest of the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and the USA,” Radev said.
Opposition party We Continue the Change’s Kiril Petkov described Trump’s comeback as US president as “a serious achievement”, while noting: “Of course, Bulgaria’s fate depends first and foremost on the will of the Bulgarians, but good cooperation with the US is crucial in the positioning of our country amid the changing geopolitical reality.”
In Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis added his voice to the congratulatory messages from countries across the region. “Greece looks forward to further deepening the strategic partnership between our two countries and working together on important regional and global issues,” Mitsotakis wrote on X.
