When it comes to scalies and avians, it's like I look around asking "Anybody gonna eat that?" then don't wait for a response, knowing very few have the ability to go 1900 posts strong You know, I am inclined to just say yeah. Is he evil? No doubt, I mean they made his design busy with unnaturally colored sclera and golden pupils. But that doesn't mean anything to furries. As long as the art's good, the crimes are easily forgiven. Oh I'm not talking about Zordrak anymore, am I? Well. We know then. He's just furrybait. All there is to it.

you have to put in a small bit of lifting on the analysis end but dreamstone moon is kind of a gutting piece on late stage commodification of innate life (dreams) to the point of this complete breakdown of human (and alien; living, i guess) communication with great corporate & military force expended to try and keep an exploitative colonial investment exemplifying that commodification not functional or even habitable but just from falling back into native hands in an ultimate showcase of the sunk cost fallacy & the cost is thousands of lives. and to end it so fucking bleakly. i wish doctor who had the balls to show that on television too

is there a finite amount of dreamstones? i know that there’s only a set amount that can be found in the wild, but are there currently methods that allow us to get more? i noticed that marlo offers them as a custom order option, but nobody seems to know how to get the item needed to make them. it says that you need a sleeping patch to make a dreamstone, but the only item i’ve found in the game is a sleeping rock, which doesn’t seem to have a purpose. it’s completely fair if the resources are simply hard to obtain, but i just would like to know for certain whether or not i’ll eventually be able to get more.

i’ve already used up a bunch of dreamstones in the first area getting multiple of the same species because i wanted to meet the pack/herd requirements and i got excited collecting ultra rares. so now i’m getting worried that i won’t have enough to get all the different species that i wanted, are we supposed to ration our dreamstones super carefully? or will i eventually be able to make more? i love all of the dinosaurs in the game and their color variants soooo much, i’d love to be able to get all of my favs without running out of dreamstones :3

There are 45 dreamstones in the game- that is one for every species of dino (38) and then a handful more. There is no way to grab any more- 45 was the limit we have for performance in the game.

Marlo sells dreamstones in that if you upgrade a dreamstone to a valley/forest/desert Sleeping Patch, he will revert those changes and give you a blank one back- he doesn't sell more!

Diana's trembling digits ghost along the smoothed chyrstaled edges of the Dreamstone. For a moment, she turns it contemplatively over. A pang of familiarity washes over her as she recollects last time she had seen it. She had gotten her Steve back- temporarily. Why the museum had brought back such a troubled piece left the curator deeply troubled. So she took it home with her.

Zoe's voice fractures any sense of revery she had stumbled into. The acursed stone is shoved hurriedly into her desk. It ought to be destroyed. Yet, there is an uncontrollable part of her that wishes so see her Steve again.... But at WHAT cost? The world? He would never wish to see her risk it, not for him. Not ever. Temptations slowly dissipate.

The Amazonian turns towards her daughter with a fatigued smile. "It's been a long day. Work had a lot of shipments of artifacts that required archiving. They were from Greece and all over Europe." She hardly doubted it would be the most fascinating of conversations.

Her eyes briefly diverted towards Steve's perfectly preserved watch. More time was always a burden, when it was spent away from him, from the love of her life. She swallows the downcast feelings hard. Yet, she NEEDED to be present for Zoe. She deserved to be loved and well-cared for.

"I was thinking," she starts, words hinged with tentativeness, "we could go for a walk. Do something --- different tonight. What do you think, Zoe?" Staying here would be like opting to stay inside a pressure cooker of her own turbulent thoughts.
