Despite this game still having a loyal and active community of fans most companies could only dream of in spite of the game itself having no major content updates since 2017, people have been feed up with the fact that Valve has done next to nothing to deal with the waves of cheater bots that have not made the game both harder to play normally (especially outside of peak playing hours) but have actively made the game toxic and even outright dangerous for players looking to have fun. "The bot hosters are malicious actors, using their aimbots as a vessel to endlessly attack and harass community members. They abuse the in-game text and voice chats to spread the most vile hate speech imaginable, while simultaneously advertising their “bot immunity services” in an attempt to scam the players desperately looking for a solution. They’ve used these same means to dox people’s personal information and broadcast it to the player-base against their will. Despite being over 17 years old, having a very active fanbase, and still having new seasonal cosmetics being released regularly for real money, Valve has horribly neglected this game and left in a state where its practically overrun nefarious actors exploiting the game for personal gain. Most fans don't even care about releasing a new update as big as the last one (2017's Jungle Inferno update) at this point, we just want Valve to fix the bot crisis.

On June 3rd, its heavily encouraged by the leaders of this consumer movement to post videos, screenshots, and personal accounts of players' encounters with these bots in an effort to get #FixTF2 trending and put a spotlight on Valve's neglect of the game despite continuing to profit from it. Reactions to Deal Maker's Chapter 203

TL;DR - Ahn Roh Man tells more of his parents and the game. Alberu feels strange when he sees Ahn Roh Man smiling brightly like him. Alberu becomes the Roan Kingdom's first player of the game. Cale has to give a speech in the academy.

RMPAG We got to know more about the game and Ahn Roh Man's family. His parents suddenly died in an accident when he was 10, so he was then raised by his uncle and aunt, somewhat becoming part of the Transparent family.

He only figured out the truth behind his parents when he played the game. His parents hid an AI in the game, and the Transparent Co was unaware of it. The AI became Ahn Roh Man's friend and hyung (because it was born a year earlier than him), and helped him attain number 1 in the rankings.

There was also the fact that his initial username was "Unfilial Son" before he changed it to "Searching for the Taerang Thief Bastard."

Oh yeah, Ahn Roh Man called the game as RMPAG, which is the abbreviation of Raising My Precious Absolute God.

Alberu and Ahn Roh Man Funny part of today's chapter. Ahn Roh Man had a bright smile when he told the two that he had a very friendly relationship with the Transparent family. Raon remarked that he had the same smile when Alberu was about to scam someone.

And Alberu's reaction. It was shock. He was shocked to meet someone of the same kind as him. 🤣🤣🤣

Gamer Alberu Ahn Roh Man suggested to install the game in Taerang and have someone play it. Cale and Alberu began pushing the task to each other... 😂

What was so funny was the narrator's words after that scene. Alberu became the first player of the game in the Roan Kingdom. And his username? Irreverent Emperor... 🤣🤣🤣

It could also mean disrespectful or blasphemous, but irreverent sounds cooler, so I used it. But Alberu calling himself 'emperor'? Is he planning to turn the Roan Kingdom into an empire?

But that did not stop there. The narrator continued that Cale would never have dreamed of the chaos this player would create in the future... 😂 Ahn Roh Man, what are you planning to teach Alberu? Is Alberu going to be like you in the future, shouting hyunpi and game terms? 🤣🤣🤣

Cale's Speech But our overworked Alberu got his revenge on Cale for forcing him to play the game... by making Cale give the speech in the academy's opening ceremony. 🤣🤣🤣

Of course, the 3 kids were excited to hear Cale's speech, and Cale could only frown when he realized Alberu's intention. 😂

Ending Remarks Today had a lot of funny moments. It ended with a message from GoD saying that Cale's request to move the black castle (where Sherrit lived) to Aipotu had been approved. Woah. So it's going to be a dragon lord versus a dragon lord fight? How exciting!

I still harbor some disappointment with the recent chapter. We still have no news of what happened to CJS or Sui, and Cale's conversation with Ron seemed to have been forgotten again. 😞Author-nim, even a mention of them would have been enough! PLEASE DON'T FORGET THEM!

so i wanna write but i'm actually too sleepy to, so i'm gonna leave these facts here about michael & zoe 😤

-She found him incredibly attractive the first time they met. Like visually speaking from his eyes to his hair to his voice, he was everything she wanted in a dream guy. She tried to be lowkey with it for as loooonnnggg as she could until she felt the time was right to ask him out. Anybody else who liked Zoe at that moment in time didn't stand a chance because her eyes were on Michael. -Before dating, she use to tease him all the time about how she didn't think he was real because he was too 'perfect.' As in, he's gotta be a machine. An AI man. A serial heartbreaker who'll put you into therapy which in turn is a scam by poor therapists looking to make more money. -Zoe was a virgin till' she started dating Michael. She had other boyfriends previously, she had made out previously, J tried crossing a few boundaries, but she sincerely never felt ready to sleep with anyone until Michael. I might have a mini-story up my sleeve about this. 🫤

So it turns out I'm prescient

Back in 2021 or so, I started writing an adventure for @soulmuppet's flavor-blasted Orbital Blues tabletop RPG. (Technically, I had a dream about part of it, and then wrote the story around that thing, but I'm choosing to ignore that bit)

A few months ago, an AI-related news story hit my feed, and I didn't realize until like 2 weeks ago how incredibly funny it was. Because it was, in essence, a massive plot point in what became Electric Sheep Shuffle. My goal was to play around with what the early days of AI would look like in the OB universe, and instead I got our universe.

Spoilers under the cut for the Thing I Wrote, in case someone's playing it right now and wants to be surprised:

On the way to Breqin Station, your crew meets a crew whose ship started malfunctioning.

Shortly after the Crew arrives at Breqin, they meet a shady businessperson who promises to sell them an Artificial Intelligence module for their ship. It's absolutely too good to be true, and some investigation into "Lovelace Technologies" reveals that the proprietor is selling you a bill of goods. The AI module is actually some harried and underpaid tech, sitting in a room with long-range comms, remotely piloting peoples' ships--like the one the crew encounters on the way in.

We have a scammer appropriating a famous name in tech. We've got hidden labor behind flashy tech. We've got misused research. We've got people getting hurt by the tech. It's some clever and prescient social commentary that I definitely planned for sure.

When I thought the Fake AI part up, I was like "well, that's a pretty wild scam! It's bad, but also nobody's going to ever try it.

But then some Investors recently discovered that the slick "Just Walk Out" grocery store, allegedly powered by AI, was actually a bunch of guys in a room with a beefy video connection, building a shopping list for customers and charging them accordingly.

So like... Really? Come on.

I will add, though. The ending has the abandoned ship coming back with Real AI, after it's rebooted itself thousands of times and iterated on the operating system until it works. My goal is to have the players wrestle with the idea of what to do with a new being and the new tech.

But in light of the last couple of years of AI developments, with OpenAI eating the Internet alive for misinformation. I think the question I'm ending up asking is, where can the technology go from here? We've got Google's massive screwups with the tech, the general disdain for AI art, and the researchers out there who are about to lose their jobs when the hype bubble inevitably bursts stuck in the middle.

What do we do if they ever get real AI? Can it survive the Scam Period?

On the other hand, we also feel unable to provide their food and health needs necessary for their growth such as (meat, eggs,milk, fruits, vegetables, etc...) because they are rarely available at very high prices, especially since I and their father lost our jobs 5 months ago.

We tried hard to travel with them to start a new life again from scratch, but unfortunately we cannot pay the crossing costs. It costs is 15 000$ to go out with them.

I am deeply sceptical of the current use of AI, with all of the plagiarism-by-proxy and ethical concerns. However, this excellent post mortem by the BBC has made it clear that we finally, allegedly, have a true, all-out AI huckster on our hands, Billy Coull. He has also 'written' 'novels', according to the BBC potentially with substantial AI help.

This story has delighted me, as it has so many others, partially for the inexplicable madness of "The Unknown, an evil chocolate maker who lives in the walls" and partly the sheer *Scottishness* of it. The actors doing their best to "be the sparkles on shit" and make the best of a bad job, the Glasgow crowd knowing precisely who to get annoyed at (ie, not the poor souls in costume), Wonka going to the press and *fully* understanding the brief (per The Independent, he says "in some ways, it was a world of imagination, like 'imagine that there is a whole chocolate factory here'", and "I didn't know where I ended and Wonka began"). We have excellent journalists and (allegedly) Billy Coull to thank for this.

And how better to thank him than with some dubiously ethical AI. I for one wanted to know much more about that beloved Roald Dahl character, The Unknown. And so...

I don't adjust photos that much, like color filter or low saturation or "aesthetic" adjustment… etc, because nature itself is already beautiful :)

Please don't ever support the selfishest "sport", golf, If you thinking about nature and future of all lives in this planet. It's enemy of the nature and lives including human (If you don't know that mass destruction golf is bring, you should search it right now. There is no environmental safety unless it's VR screen golf) because human couldn't live without nature. I say that it's one of most greediest and selfish things humans can commit.

If you play the golf or generate image, video and text with generative ai and don't feel any remorse, remember that your selfish actions are causing the endless surfer to other lives.

If you create AI art, you are not creative.

If you use AI to write, you are not creative.

To put it in simpler terms…

If you babysit a child, you are not the child’s parent.

If you buy vegetables at the market, you are not a farmer.

If you buy prepared food, you are not a chef.

AI creations are amalgamations of other people’s work. They are not your work.

No, you’re a fucking thief. You arranged the corpses of other people’s imaginations.

You’re less than a taxidermist who stuffs and molds the flesh animals to reflect what they were in life. A taxidermist is not God—you are not an artist.

AI writing has filled the internet to the brim. Every blog is loaded with AI-written clickbait that summarizes AI-written articles from other publications, leading to a whirlpool of bullshit online. It’s even worse on Amazon, a vile company that gleefully sells all sorts of scam shit. Amazon’s e-book and print-on-demand sections—once populated by writers earnestly trying to get their creations to see the light of day—are now filled with AI drek, both from AI-evangelist assholes and pure scum who don’t bother to actually read whatever the algorithm has spat out.

Worst of all are writers who are creative, but utilize AI art. These writers are human blood-traitors.

A mutual explained that some writers resort to AI art because they can’t afford a real artist to make a cover, and covers can sell books. And it’s a decent explanation… to a degree. But it doesn’t change the fact that they are still killing human creativity.

Look at these excuses:

I want a cover, but I can’t pay an artist

I want to make art but I don’t have the skills

I want to write but I have no time

Compare them to these excuses:

I want to drive a racecar but don’t know how to drive

I want to live in a mansion but have no money

I want to go to Mars but it’s literally impossible because I’m not an astronaut and rocketry isn’t advanced enough to get us there, especially the radiation shielding absolutely needed to cross the expanse of space beyond Earth’s magnetosphere that everyone forgets about because they don’t know shit about outer space

Brothers, Sisters, Everyone…

IF YOU CAN’T DO IT, YOU CAN’T DO IT

If you can’t afford an artist, then you save your fucking money until you can

If you can’t save your money, then you can’t get your “dream cover” without betraying your creativity

You are not owed the ability to do a thing if you have no gumption to actually do it
