𝗟𝗼𝘀 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲́𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶́𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼́𝗻, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 , 𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗲́𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆 𝗹𝗮 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗮.
𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶́𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲́𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝘆 𝗲𝗹 𝘂𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗶́𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮, 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗲́𝗽𝗼𝗰𝗮 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗕. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗵𝘂𝗯𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼 𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶́𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲.

All right ...
Wandee Goodday
So, is it the case that neither Dr Dee nor boxer Yak is believably cast ? Yes, they're lovely--perfect, even--as actors ... but who knows an oncologist in his early twenties (even if the role is said to be older than that) ? And how could a man with a face like Yak's even think of subjecting it to bruises and contusions--much less a split lip ? Horrifying ... don't you think ?
Suspension of disbelief is a prerequisite for the enjoyment of a BL romance--but must we be made to shred our credulity so completely as in this perfectly scrumptious romance ?

Today in the Department of Before They Were Star Trek Stars, William Shatner guest stars in "Admitting Service," episode 6 of the first season of Dr. Kildare (original air date November 2, 1961).
Shatner plays Dr. Cunningham, the supervising resident for Dr. Kildare's internship on the admitting ward. Kildare and Cunningham come into conflict over over a patient Cunningham discharges when Kildare has a gut feeling his case is more serious than Cunningham's examination indicates. The patient goes home and immediately dies, and his family threatens to sue the hospital and Cunningham. But the autopsy indicates that while Kildare's instinct was correct, the patient's condition was so rare Cunningham couldn't have been expected to catch it.
