What are doshas in Ayurveda?
There are three body types in Indian Ayurveda- Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
They are known as the Tridoshas. The three doshas are different biological energies in the human body and they control the physical and mental processes in the human body. In addition, they also provide individual identity for health and fulfillment to everyone. Of the three doshas, what Ayurvedic type are you most aligned to Vata, Pitta, or Kapha? Sometimes when it's that time of the month, you just need an avocado chocolate shake to make everything better! 🍫🥑 I'm trying to eat pacifying Pitta foods right now, as at my time of the month my Pitta is totally out of balance. Experimenting with Ayurvedic recipes today in the kitchen. In Ayurveda, it is believed that the food that we eat is freshly cooked, non-processed and most important of all - is dosha balancing.
