My Own Designs
It wasn't long before I decided to try designing my own pieces.
This was my first attempt at designing a glass pattern.
I guess you'd call this an abstract floral design. LOL

In The Beginning
I began my stained glass journey back in the early 1980s. I was in my early 30s, married without any children. I took an introductory class where I learned the basics of both the lead came and copper foil techniques. I quickly gravitated to the copper foil technique and crafted several small pieces. They were all pretty simple patterns but I was hooked and wanted more.
I wanted my glass to be art that reflected me and my life. At that time we were living in a small house on a wooded lot with several floor-to-ceiling glass walls that looked out over the wooded portion of our property. Our "glass house" was the perfect environment to caught up in the world of stained glass..

I'll be using this site to share some of my projects with you. I hope you enjoy it.
