Sometimes, i feel obligated to post. Just a hello or an apology cause I haven’t been writing OR answering asks. I’ve been so strained recently , and work has be pulled taut ! I haven’t been thinking very clearly , I’ve been incredibly paranoid and anxious , like people are out to get me. I know it’s not real but I struggle with separating fact from fiction sometimes.

It’s a bummer for sure !

But, being a old popular account on the clock app was detrimental to my mental health, so ive been trying not to look at posting as an obligation but more of something fun to me. I don’t need to make content like i used to, im not a content creator anymore.

Bettering my mental health sucks , sometimes it feels like i take too many steps back, but i know logically im in a MUCH better place than 3 years ago !!

I was at one point gonna make an actually colored nice finished drawing for this, but I’m not feeling it and the trend will probably be completely dead by the time that I do if it isn’t already ugh. So you get doodle Miku now :3!

Anyway uh weird middle of absolutely nowhere in the rural US Midwest Miku. I’ll mini rant about it a little bit under the cut 👍

I literally had to look up my own culture for this cause I couldn’t think of anything 💀💀💀💀💀. Especially not anything that actually applies to me, if that makes sense. Minus the fishing pole, this is the closest to my current experience I could get. Her expression is very reminiscent of the experience of being out here tbh.

Apparently ranch dressing is a thing???? I didn’t know cause I really don’t like ranch. Same with casseroles. Fishing is a local hobby, but I don’t have a fishing license and don’t like being around water. So is fixing old cars, but I’m not strong enough to do any of that. There isn’t a consistent accent or slang here, it’s just a bunch of stuff from everywhere else. Not really distinct clothing. A couple bands are from nearby states, but they’re not associated with them much. Uh some sports teams I guess. I don’t watch sports. Everywhere for miles looks the same cause it’s all corn and closest place to do anything is in a big faraway city and involves spending money you probably don’t have and shouldn’t.

You can’t death of the author someone who is gaining influence and impacting lives more every day. Even understanding the prejudices baked into her work and navigating them in a conscientious way won’t stop her from funding political parties. She’s been extremely open about how she perceives ANYONE who still engages with the HP franchise as a supporter of her views. I dont really play d&d 5e anymore, but my sister in law invited me to a game and I figured, sure, why not. The GM sent me a list of his house rules and they're mostly fine... I could complain about the fact that 5e GMs need to send a google doc of house rules to new players, but whatever, it doesnt bug me that much.

What does bug me is the idea that rolling a natural 1 on an attack roll should be worse than just missing. Why do you hate martial characters? Why should they suffer? Theyre just trying to play the game! Attack rolls are all they have!! Martials are already weaker than caters, they don't need a debuff.

And even if they did, doing it like this makes no goddamn sense. Oh, you chose to play the sword guy who is good at swords and devoted his life to hitting people with his sword? Yeah he biffs it. We rolled and his fingers are covered in butter and he threw it across the room. That's the fantasy you wanted to evoke right? Thats your favorite scene in samurai jack isnt it? When he biffs it and stabs his friend through the heart on the first round of combat against a single goblin?

Attacking is the main way martial classes interact with a combat. They will be making multiple attacks rolls every turn. Punishing them for doing that just makes the game slower and more frustrating.

Anyways I built a martial so I'll let you all know when I drop my warhammer on my foot and take 1d6 damage
