I have to disagree on the last part. I don't think Pocketcat would be a good dad, at least not at first!!

I do think that he'd want to be a good dad. And that, if he had a child that loved him, he'd love them right back. But I feel like he'd have a hard time realising that his kid does love him.

Maybe, this is me woobifying him a bit (I'm not sure), but based on his dialogue from the first game*, Pocketcat seems like a deeply lonely person, who is used to constant rejection. (Like he immediately assumes that we're lying to him when we say we love him. But maybe that's just him reading our player character's voice.)

So, I think he'd just assume that his kid doesn't actually like him. Because that's what he's used to.

And that would make him a lot more distant.

Of course, IF Pocketcat and his kid sat down, talked and came to an understanding, I'm sure he'd be a wonderful parent. But the chances of that happening are... slim to say the least (imo)

TL;DR I think PC would be a bit of a deadbeat.

*It's also important to remember where the first game takes place. The dungeon obviously has a negative effect on everything in it, so it's very possible that Pocketcat is kinda going insane under the God Of Depths' effects.

Well, I have a few HC that I was going to elaborately draw out, but i'm a little too comfortable in my nest to even think about doing such things. So, I guess I'll just type it out!

• I imagine he probably romanticizes True / Pure love, especially with his dialogue from the first game. Talking with him about true happiness and mostly associating with kissing somebody for the first time or spending time with somebody, It makes some sense with how he's a creature of darkness both in the literal sense and metaphorical, Because he can't truly achieve that. And there's probably some envy with those who truly have it... Now, of course, this can just be him being an unpredictable creature of unrelenting horror and I might be gushing too much haha!

• He Probably have some cat qualities, Especially I can imagine if he really fancies, he'll Go and Fetch a pheasant or some type of medium size bird and bring it as a gift, Because he's such a gentleman and a provider 🐈💜

Another thing is probably sun basking, just taking a nice quick nap. Underneath the radiant sun, oh and zoomies? Perhaps he gets them, Though I can imagine it's a little embarrassing for him. It's so unprofessional! Plus I can imagine him doing a backflip off a wall and it's just so funny to me for some reason

• I imagine he would be a good father, though he will probably be overly obnoxious into the point of smothering. I would expand upon it, but I would be called cringe and father-less
