Binah's onyx eyes narrow into slits of midnight as you silently nod, and she cups your cheek in a hand

Saw this tiktok about Marlo and Hich which made me think of Marco and Jean (They ALWAYS make me think of Marco and Jean) and it just occurred to me-

the only verse where bri is less agreeable than norm (15% at least) is cyberpunk 2077. as an arasaka corpo director she has to play the game even if her tactics are generally more benign. she also "uses" people (in a bid to secure her position) and suspicion of others is at an all-time high. the context of that verse makes her less likely to extend a helping hand too (on a personal level. monetary-wise, she remains philanthropic).

The Shinkubantai, like every other squad within the Kido Corps, is still beholden to the commands of Bansui, and theoretically, their (still undecided) Vice Kido Chief, but as Chief Officer of the Shinkubantai, Saizo is allowed to operate the squad with a great degree of autonomy. There's a lot of quirks in regards to how someone like Saizo 'leads' (this man is the sloppiest leader EVER), but with Saizo at the helm, the Shinkubantai are the most 'normal' (term is used loosely sddglhJKLJHSD) part of the Kido Corps.

More than that, because of Saizo, the Shinkubantai are the only squad within the Kido Corps that genuinely tries to do good, and because of this they likely have the most positive reputation in the eyes of those outside the Kido Corps (at least since Bansui has been in charge), compared to its other sectors anyway.

she would, too. it's easy since she's bigger than you like this, and it's the most efficient way. if she wants you to be near her, she simply walks over and carefully grabs the back of your shirt, slowly lifting you off the ground so you have plenty of time to react. Binah has multiple ways of carrying you, actually- holding you in her arms or sweeping a wing around you are her favorite methods. but the back of the shirt technique gives you no chance of escape. it sends a clear message to you without needing any words, one that clearly says "I need attention", since she doesn't want to just say it out loud

she's still working on being vulnerable, after all. but she'll do it. just for you
