I'm confused if Queen Clara of the Southern Isles is still alive or not because :

My Hans spin-off fanfic - she died

A Frozen Heart - she has alcoholic problems, it is implied that she is at the edge of breaking so... It's possible she died when Hans was doing horrible tasks for his father.... That's what I believed but....

Disney California Adventure family tree - she is alive in the age of Hans being 23 (so pre-F1 timeline, slightly before the movie I think)

And World of Frozen - SHE IS FUCKING ALIVE.

so, I'm still confused if she's alive or dead, especially she had alcoholic problems for so many years so.... she probably died BUT NOOOO SHE'S ALIVEEE.

Either way, Clara, you are the best mother in my eyes. Especially for the small abused boy who had nothing else than you.

Me and my mum were at Disney World and everyone was running around looking panicked and we were like, “Huh I wonder what that’s about,” and it turned out that Slender Man was there, terrorising the public.

So, let’s say Mothers Day exists in the TWST universe.

Everyone’s buying gifts and going to visit their mothers because they’re sweethearts like that💙

But anyways, what are you, our poor prefect doing?

Nothing. Because you got shoved into another world without your mom. And it’s pretty clear you’re upset about it and feeling pretty homesick.

You’re sitting on your bed, scrolling through magicam and looking at all the pictures of your friends with their moms.

You’re getting pretty emotional because, god damn, you miss your mom:(((

And then, Grim comes in with a bag in his hands.

Now, if y’all didn’t know, Grim doesn’t have any parents or relatives. He was abandoned when he was a child (kitten????).

Next thing you know, Grim hands you the bag and hugs you tightly, and tells you that you’re the closest he’s ever had to a parent and that he loves you:((((((

And he’s all like, “but don’t tell anyone I ever said this!!! You’re still my henchman..”

It’s so clear he’s embarrassed to be saying all of this, but it’s also clear he really does love you and appreciates all you do for him.

And you open the bag and there’s a couple little things like chocolate and maybe some jewelry.

(The first year crew definitely helped him shop for you because he had no idea what to get you.)

But the most memorable, and absolutely adorable thing in there is a handmade card.

It’s messy and kind of sticky and it’s getting glitter all over you, but on the inside there’s a little drawing of you and Grim. You’re holding his little paw and you two are smiling.

And it’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever been given.

And all you can do is bawl your eyes out and hug him close.

It reminds you of something you’d give your mother when you were younger.

And it just makes you miss her so much more.

Poor Grim is so confused on why you’re crying, and he’s saying shit like, “Henchman, I know my gift was great but it’s nothing to CRY over..” as his little paws rub your back.

But he curls into you anyways, and stays with you until you’re done and half-asleep. And you two fall asleep together that night.

He’s in your arms, purring contently against you as you sniffle and whimper in your sleep.

God you miss home:((((

aefihlw8yofw8ydfMFw Since Riddle is dressed like Rapunzel (right down to the long hair in a braid with flowers) THE FUCKING IMPLICATION THAT MRS. ROSEHEARTS IS THE MOTHER GOTHEL PARALLEL HERE IS MAKING ME LAUGH BUT ALSO KILLING ME INSIDE 💀 I wonder if that long hair is a wig, extensions, or if it's magically induced hair growth or something... Not that the last one isn't possible, but typically we get a brief in-universe explanation for why their new look is the way that it is.

With the announcement of the new story event, it definitively puts the more modern 3D animated era of Disney films in the realm of possibility for Twst. (I mean, we had the 2025 JP Halloween event, but that was technically stop motion.) So... films like Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, Raya, Moana, Encanto... and, yes, even Wish. I wonder if this would also extend to Pixar films like Inside Out, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and more??? That would vastly extend their repertoire of material to pull from.

asldhbadoofeasd ANYWAY, I'm really excited for this event!! Tangled is one of my favorite Disney princess films from the 3D era of animation. With it coming out so close to Riddle's main story update and the subtitle to the story event (Wish Lantern: the Road to Freedom), I get the feeling that it might have some interesting development for him. Historically, the story events with significant character growth have been my most enjoyed ones.
