I still can't stop thinking abt Aang angst brainrot,,,I will never get over him using the name of his long dead friend to infiltrate the fire nation, a place that would become unrecognizable to the both of them. Like it's a cute homage but also really devastating when you think about it??

Like idk it's not just Aang being an outsider and masquerading as fire nation it's his understanding of the past that does not belong in the current propagandized fire nation, and that the Kuzon he remembers wouldnt either ;-;

I feel like drawing atla yuri

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I was just thinking about how in the atla live action (which I haven't seen and have no interest in watching) they made Yue a waterbender but I actually like that she was a nonbender in the cartoon.

It shows that you don't have to bend your nation's element to have a strong connection to your culture, people, and spiritual beliefs. I also think it's an interesting contrast to how unaccepting the Fire Nation, or at least the Fire Nation royalty, would've been to non-bending royalty considering Ozai literally procreated with the intent of making powerful firebenders
