something that really irks me in the hunchback of notre dame's sequel (disney) is that madeline is just a regular girl. like im sorry but in medival france a regular girl would not be im the circus just because "she stole a few coins". shed be turned over to authorities because its not like she has any use to draw more eyes to the circus

i also find it really hard to believe that in medival france shed just look past all of quasi's deformities because "he sees the world like no one else".

what i really wanted when watching that movie was for madeline to also have deformities of some sort because it makes the story make so much more sense!! she would be kept in the circus because people want to look at her, she and quasi would be drawn together because theyre both different and all their life thought they were alone, etc

im gonna draw this someday trust 🙏

I was arguing with someone who said Frollo from Disney’s “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” wasn’t the villain because he had to “protect the city from an evil race”. I swear either this person was trolling or he really believes in this stuff; either way it’s disgusting.

Originally in The Lorax (2012) instead of "How Bad Can I Be?" it had a more serious song called "Biggering". The song showed that The Onceler was driven by pride and greed instead of being pressured by his family.

Some say it would have saved the movie but I disagree. The song is better but it would be jarring and tonally off with the movie's lighthearted tone. It would be like if in Disney's Aristocats if the butler villain sang Hellfire from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

Day 17 of my Halloween Countdown 2024!

How long has it been since anyone did a Jasmeralda (Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame's Esmeralda x Disney's Aladdin's Jasmine)? A while. Me too. But that's why I did them for my Halloween Countdown this year.

I did them as the Hazbin Hotel couple: Chaggie (Charlie Morningstar x Vaggie). Jasmine is Charlie, and Esmeralda is Vaggie. ( I added the Charlie makeup on Jasmine to make it accurate. Sorry if I didn't include the missing eye (X) on Esmeralda. It wasn't my intention)

Okay YEAH I know Disney remakes are overrated, but I actually am a little disappointed about this, because Hunchback doesn't get nearly as much attention from Disney.

There was a whole Broadway musical planned (featuring Patrick Page as Frollo!), and guess what they scrapped that for? Fucking Frozen Broadway musical.

Also gee I wonder why Iger wouldn't like Hunchback, it's not like it's got a recurring theme of "power corrupts" and "those in control can be immoral" or anything...
