Essentially my version of a lore dump

- All sentient machines, regardless of where they are built or their origin, believe in a singular deity named Lady. She is the station pilot for the Grand Terminus, the last stop for all sentient machines. Lady is seen as equal parts God and grim reaper and can appear in a multitude of forms, from locomotive to tug boat. She claims all sentient machines as her children and is believed to be very kind and gentle. This belief system has aspects of reincarnation, as it is believed that the soul of the machines shall be forged anew and come to incarnate a new form of vehicle or machine.

- Lady may choose a "guardian" to help with more earthly affairs on her behalf. It is unclear what they stand guard over, however.

- It is believed that Lady watches over the Isle of Sodor, as machinery built there seems to have a higher chance of sentience. However, this is both unproven and unconfirmed.

- Thomas's route takes him all the way to Tidmouth and he often brings the townsfolk to their big city jobs.

- The volunteers on the Talyllyn railway often send gag jokes or pranks to the workers of the SKR. The biggest prank yet was when they swapped Sir Handel with Sir Haydn (with permission from both the Thin Controller and the Talyllyn Preservation Society) and waited to see how long it would take someone to notice. Sir Haydn was on Sodor for 2 weeks and was found out by Duncan, who was suspicious as to why "Handel" was being so polite to him.

- Out of all the famous eight engines, Gordon is the one who dislikes his TV theme song the most. He claims that "it wasn't grand enough."

- Thomas's favorite TV episode is "Thomas and the Jet Engine." On multiple occasions, he has begged the Fat Controller to let him recreate the episode, just so he can say he is the fastest engine on Sodor.

- Edward is the unofficial father of Thomas, Bill, Ben, Rosie, Philip, and Ryan.

- Gordon is surprisingly good at giving advice. He has even given Edward some kind words.

- Boco is the official secondary for the Wild Nor'wester.

- Sodor is a sanctuary for sentient machines, and as such, Crovan's Gate Works can fix just about any type of machine in the world, whether it's diesel, steam, electric, gasoline, kerosene, or hydrogen. Bring them any type of motive power, and they can fix it in no time flat.

- During the purge of steam, Henry and later Murdoch often smuggled engines onto Sodor, attached to the ends of their freight trains.

The next day, Hex feels totally out of sorts. She can’t pinpoint what’s wrong, but her whole body feels heavy. Perhaps it’s a side effect of her pregnancy, or maybe she’s coming down with something. She pushes herself out of bed, slowly getting ready for work that evening.

IRANIAN NAVY SEIZES GAS TANKER SAILING THROUGH THE PERSIAN GULF

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. (IRGC) announced it has seized a foreign gas tanker vessel shipping what Iranian authorities said was over 2-million litres of "smuggled" gas thorough the southern Persian Gulf Sunday.

Speaking with reporters, Iran's Commander of the IRGC's Second Naval Zone, Heidar Honarian Mojarad, stated that "this morning, a foreign vessel with the flag of a country from Oceania was identified with two million liters of smuggled diesel."

The naval Commander said that the vessel was seized by the IRGC "in accordance with a court order off the coast of the southern Iranian port city of Bushehr," adding that 14 crew members, two of whom were from Asian nations, had been detained and arrested by by local Iranian authorities.

Commander Mojarad also told reporters the confiscated vessel had been handed over to Iran's National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company in the Bushehr Province, adding that the Iranian Navy had used state-of-the-art detection tools to monitor all movement through the Persian Gulf.

Amidst Israel’s attempts to root out Hamas from the Gaza Strip, Hamas is now receiving a helping hand from the international community and the legacy media. While Hamas sits on vast stockpiles of water, food, and medicine, the international community and legacy media have placed responsibility for Gaza’s civilian population … on Israel.

According to no less an anti-Israel authority than the New York Times this weekend:

As supplies of virtually every basic human necessity dwindle in Gaza, one group in the besieged enclave remains well-stocked: Hamas. Arab and Western officials say there is substance to Israeli claims of Hamas stockpiling supplies, including desperately needed food and fuel. … Hamas has hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel for vehicles and rockets; caches of ammunition, explosives and materials to make more; and stockpiles of food, water and medicine, the officials said.

A senior Lebanese official said Hamas, which is estimated to number between 35,000 and 40,000, had enough stocked away to keep fighting for three to four months without resupply. … The supply situation speaks to the relative sophistication of Hamas as a fighting force — an axiom among military professionals is that while amateurs talk about tactics, professionals talk about logistics. Yet with Gazans facing a humanitarian catastrophe, Hamas’s stockpiles raise questions about what responsibility, if any, it has to the civilian population.

There it is, that fabled New York Times objectivity: Hamas stealing billions of dollars from its citizens to fund its war machine “raises questions about what responsibility, if any, it has to the civilian population.”

Imagine that sentence in any other context.

Is there any question that the United States government has a responsibility for its civilian population? Or Israel’s government?

But being a genocidal, Jew-hating terrorist means you don’t have to take responsibility for the civilians you supposedly govern. You might not have any responsibility for those citizens. In fact, Gaza hospitals are right now complaining about a lack of fuel — but Hamas currently has 260,000 gallons of gasoline and diesel on hand.

But no matter. Hamas has no responsibility.

Which is why Hamas’ friends are able to lament the plight of civilians in Gaza after having funded their impoverishment — and the current conflict, created by Hamas.

Aid dollars deployed to Gaza over the past 20 years have been embezzled by Hamas and used for its murderous plans. According to NBC News:

The unemployment rate in Gaza is 47% and more than 80% of its population lives in poverty, according to the United Nations. Hamas, however, has funded an armed force of thousands equipped with rockets and drones and built a vast web of tunnels under Gaza. Estimates of its annual military budget range from $100 million to $350 million, according to Israeli and Palestinian sources. … Since coming to power in the Gaza Strip 17 years ago, Hamas has filled its coffers with hundreds of millions in international aid, overt and covert injections of cash from Iran and other ideological partners, as well as cryptocurrency, taxes, extortion and smuggling, according to current and former U.S. officials and regional experts.

Much of the money is public and legal, including large sums of financial aid from Qatar via the United Nations, an arrangement encouraged and approved by Israel. The Qatari aid covers the salaries of civil servants, buys fuel for the power grid and provides cash to needy families. … Hamas’ leadership has invested its income in an international investment portfolio worth $500 million in real estate and other assets from companies in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, which it uses to conceal and launder its money, according to a Treasury announcement.

But now, the international community and legacy media say it’s up to Israel to make humanitarian provision for Gaza’s civilians.

This, of course, is disingenuous.

None of the countries that voted in favor of a UN resolution pushing a ceasefire have offered to take in any Gazan civilians. None have called for Hamas to surrender to Israel, which would end the conflict immediately.

No, they say.

Israel must stop its attempts to destroy Hamas.

The innocents are suffering.

Hamas is the governing body in the Gaza Strip. Hamas has chief responsibility for the health and welfare of Gazan Palestinian civilians.

And they don’t give two whits about those citizens.

In fact, they want those citizens to die. Over the weekend, Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, called for the blood of Palestinian Arab women and children.

So here’s the math, apparently: If a population elects terrorist leadership, that terrorist leadership consolidates its control by wiping out its political rivals, that terrorist leadership steals billions of dollars in aid and impoverishes its own citizens in the process, and then that terrorist leadership murders 1,500 Jews and kidnaps another 233 people, then so long as that terrorist leadership hides in tunnels, the terrorists must be left alone.

This is insanity.

It is insanity no other country would be expected to weather. Not the United States, not the U.K., not France, not Germany.

No one.

There cannot be a ceasefire until Hamas surrenders.

Anyone in the world who is not calling on Hamas to do just that — in fact, those who are calling for a lengthening of the conflict by shipping in more resources for Hamas to steal — cannot pretend to care about human life, either Israeli or Palestinian.

There is a reason both Hamas and the UN are calling for a ceasefire, and it has nothing to do with human rights and everything to do with stopping Israel from protecting its own citizens, the mass murder of whom created this conflict in the first place.

Decline in Petroleum Product Sales in February

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in the country showed mixed performance in February 2025, with total petroleum sales standing at 1.14 million tons, which reflects a 2% year-on-year increase but an 18% decrease compared to January.

According to the report, the total industry intake for the first eight months of the fiscal year 2025 was 10.55 million tons, showing a 4% year-on-year growth. The monthly decline was primarily due to the fewer days in February, higher petroleum prices, and reduced fuel-based electricity generation.

The report highlighted that the sale of Motor Spirit (MS) in February was 0.56 million tons, which shows a 2% increase compared to the same month last year but an 11% decrease compared to January. The modest annual increase was due to growing demand, lower petrol prices, restrictions on smuggled fuel from Iran, and an increase in vehicle sales.

According to the report, the sale of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) dropped to 0.43 million tons, a 4% decrease year-on-year and a 29% decrease compared to January. The monthly drop was mainly due to the end of the Rabi crop planting season, which led to a decline in agricultural demand.

The sale of Furnace Oil (FO) was 0.05 million tons, which was a 7% increase compared to last year but a 9% decrease compared to the previous month. Overall, Furnace Oil demand remained under pressure as the country is moving away from furnace oil-based electricity generation.

Meanwhile, the sale of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) reached 33,000 tons, showing a 284% increase on a year-on-year basis. This was due to a reduced price differential between premium and regular fuels.

It is expected that the petroleum sector will grow by approximately 3% in fiscal year 2025, supported by lower fuel prices and the recovery of commercial and industrial activities.

Although the petroleum sector showed improvement in the first eight months of fiscal year 2025, February saw a sharp decline due to ongoing seasonal and economic challenges, which could affect the market in the coming months.

I haven't thought him out well. He's laid-back, materialistic, and er, detached. He CAN be jaunty—adversely and especially when he's struggling with his thoughts, so while he might have a voice like Captain Schwann from Tales of Vesperia in a normal context, he'll sound like Raven's lighter inflection when he's super unwell (a time period of where he makes an incessant number of dry jokes). Also, he's not skilled at self-maintenance so he has a fair diesel stench.

This is almost exactly what the Troy-Bilt backhoe tractor looks like and it was really a lawn tractor no it was made to be a farming tractor that you could put attachments on use a PTO and it works very well these things are very famous and they should be and they worked extraordinarily well they were a workhorse and they were used by a lot of people they were very valuable a lot of people had them and it was by the Troy-Bilt company for real this is what they were doing and it is no joke that they made a lot of them and they they did the produce a ton of these damn things and they were quite effective at what they do and a lot of people bought them but to make a long story short we want to make these and we want to sell them kind of bare bones so you won't see the canopy top you won't see the front end loader attachment and you won't see a backhoe attachment and you won't see that come with it unless you specifically order it and it will have a PTO no that's another attachment so people wonder what the hell it's for no they know what it is it would be a tractor and they do buy them a lot of times they buy the real thing and they buy brands that are not as pricey but there they are fairly expensive and they have excuses to make stuff and we have people who would want to make things in their garage and they would say this is what it is and we have done this before we are not gun shy and it does have an effect that we like and we use.
