my dad might have cancer again but we have to wait until they do a colonoscopy and an mri tomorrow to know more and i think the waiting is the worst part. i know just enough about medicine and the medical system to be fucking nervous but not enough to know WHY theyre doing what theyre doing. if that makes sense.
like his blood tests are fine and the barium enema was inconclusive, he just had his cancer tests in april and a colonoscopy no more than 2 months ago so like. logically the chances of it being cancer again are not insanely high but also not negligible
i just hate the waiting and the doom spiraling augh
#claire chit chats#he has other risk factors for other things bc of his diabetes/weight/diet so like. i just dont know#sorry for talking about my dads colon so much literally no one wants to know about it and frankly me neither but im. anxious :/

Insulin resistance is the main cause of type 2 diabetes. The body’s cells do not allow insulin to work the way it should by letting glucose into its cells. The cells become resistant to insulin. As a result, there is a rise in blood glucose levels. Now lets understand the symptoms of Type-2 diabetes.
Symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes

Polydipsia (excessive thirst)

Blurred vision.
Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet (Neuropathy).
Slow-healing wounds or cuts.
Unexplained/unplanned weight loss.
Frequent infections.
Dryness of mouth.
