Demitri: Y/n, you do remember when we agreed we were better off as friends, right?
Y/n, naked in Demitri's bed: No, I absolutely do not.
Demitri, already taking off his clothes: Fuck... Me neither.

Love Us? Poly Volturi X Reader
Word count: 1509
Time it took: 3 hours
To anon~ I hope you like this one! Let me know if you guys like it! I know you will. Love <3
Volturi X Pregnant Reader
“How the fuck could this happen?” You yelled looking down at the pee filled plastic piece of fate in your hand. A test. A pregnancy test of all the tests in the world, this is the one you passed?
“They’re vampires. I thought none of that could work?” You questioned yourself looking in the mirror.
“Oh my god.. I don’t even know whose it is.” Your eyes widen in shock.
You never thought that you would be the kinda girl to have this problem. Taking a second to think you realized there was no way for you to be able to tell whose baby it was. Out of all the nights for you to pass this test, meanwhile the last time you were intimate with your love's you were being passed around like a blunt.
“I can’t.. I can’t do this.” You whispered to yourself as you shook your head.
“Wait, I have to push this thing out? Oh hell no.” You started panicking.
You had always been frightened of the process of birth. The pain, the restless nights, the fact that a living thing was growing inside of you. You never asked to be a garden.
“You think I can, you know.. Get rid of.. You know.. It?” You asked yourself outloud slowly. Holding eye contact with nothing and no one but yourself you still never gave an answer.
“Nahh it must be a mistake. It’s lying, these things are wrong all the time.” You laughed, feeling your shoulders relax immediately. You tossed the test in the bin next to the sink and started leaving the bathroom. The moment you stepped out you froze. And so did your breath. There in front of you stood your lovers. All of them.
“You're pregnant.” Alec was the first one to speak after a minute of silence.
“No-” You started but was immediately cut off.
“Don’t lie, we can hear it.” Caius spat out, a frown on his face making your heart ache a little. Caius wasn’t the nicest but you’ve never seen him look at you like this.
“I-How I just found out?” You questioned.
“It’s a vampire, It’s been baking for two days now.” Dem spoke looking you up and down as if he was examining you.
“I-”
“This is an abomination. You're getting rid of it.” Cauis said firmly.
“What?” You questioned.
“It’s against the rules.” Aro stated like that mattered to you.
“So what?! You make the rules!” You yelled feeling protective of the pea or baseball size of a baby you just found out about.
“It’s a killer.” Alec said taking side by Jane.
“Trust me, we know.” Jane said so monetoned.
“A killer? It’s not even here yet! A killer? Then what the fuck are you!?” You yelled throwing the closest thing to you, which happened to be a vintage vase that you saw and fell in love with. Marcus had gave the task to some vampires to steal it for you as it was an antique in a museum
Seeing it hit the ground and shatter you immediately burst into tears.
“My vase!” You sobbed feeling a heavy sadness you hadn’t felt in a while. The vampires glanced at each other witnessing the affects the infant has already brung upon you.
“Yeah.. Our lives are going to be a living hell if we keep this thing.” Felix stated making the others agree in their own ways in silence, as you sobbed over the pieces of glass trying to put the back together.
2 weeks later
“I’m hungry, But I don’t want that.” You said pointing to the wine glass Aro held in his hand. It was full of a red substance made specifically for you, he said.
“It’s just wine.” Aro said as his grin grew bigger tell you that he's lying his ass off. And doing a bad job at it.
“Like hell it is! You're trying to kill me!” You said crawling back further into the couch you were sitting on.
“That would be easier than whatever this is.” Caius spoke looking at the scene of you and Aro in distaste.
It had been 2 weeks since you found out you were pregnant.
The tension has still been high on both ends. With your never ending mood swings that always ended with you breaking something and in tears. The amount of glass you’ve broken is enough to bring bad luck on all those who step foot in this castle.
“Shut up!” You yelled at Caius, bothered by his attitude. His comments lately have been putting you on edge every time he spoke yet he still doesn’t walk on eggshells around you like Alec, Felix, Marcus have. You honestly wish he would so you wouldn’t have to hear his mouth.
“What is that?” You questioned turning your head as Aro tried to make you take a sip of the mystery liquid in the glass.
“Your favorite wine.” Aro said, like it was a fact, causing Jane to snicker in the back making Alec laugh immediately.
“You see I would believe you if I didn’t know how my favorite wine moved.” You started.
“That’s thick.” You finished with a monotone voice.
“It’s just-”
“Blood My-! We're going to be here all day unless you tell her.” Dem groaned, rubbing his eyes in annoyance.
“I know you're lying! Are you serious?” You questioned raising your eyebrows in disbelief.
“You had to have known that this was coming soon.” Jane stated, looking at you as she herself was sipping on a glass of wine.
“I didn’t think it wouldn’t come, I just thought we’d talk about it instead of trying to trick me into it!” You yelled looking at Aro with eyes that slowly grew furious.
“Here we go again.” Cauis spoke, shaking his head.
“I’m just sick of hearing you speak, can you shut up!?” You questioned in frustration of Caius’s existence.
“Can you just stop?! I swear in my whole existence I've never met a human more irritating than you!” He shouted right back at you. Hearing his words you felt a shock of sadness run through you. Your eyes immediately watered.
“You don’t love me?” You merely whispered as tears ran down your face. Full on sobbing now. Cauis looked shocked. Like he didn’t know what to do with you. And quite frankly none of your love’s knew what to do.
“Don’t cry darling.. That’s not what he meant.” Marucs said softly as he walked into the room sitting next to you.
“Then what did he mean?” You question looking at Marcus with wet eyes. He led you to lay your head on his chest by your head making you immediately relax.
“What I think is this is a very complicated time for us all. And it will take some getting used to but it won’t last forever.” He spoke with wisdom flowing through his veins.
“It feels like forever.” Felix said snickering but immediately apologizing when you shot him a pointed look.
“I’m sorry baby.” Felix apologized, making you relax back into Marcus' chest.
“What did that doctor tell you?” You questioned, referring to Carlise, the vampire doctor Cauis ordered Aro to call in attempts to find a way to get rid of the seed sprouting inside of you. Summoning a fight in you you never knew you had.
The anger you felt that night was one you’ve never felt before. One you couldn’t even explain with words. One that you could only explain or show with physical action.
“That you should drink the wine.” Jane spoke with annoyance rolling her eyes.
“You drink it!” You yelled.
“I don’t even know where that came from.” You continued as your body went back and forth with the feeling of being relaxed and tensed.
“A human.” Alec said plainly.”
“I’m not drinking that.” You said for the last time.  And they knew it. Sighs flowed through the room as Aro finally gave up and put the glass of blood down.
The vampires consumed themselves in conversation as you zoned out. Some of the talk was about the baby, you, blood, and death. Things you didn’t want to hear. The talks of them turning you made tears roll down your face. Your hands made their way from Marcus’s to your stomach. You knew that at some point you would have to turn if you wanted to be with your lovers forever. But you didn’t think it would come this soon. You wanted to experience a bit more of the human world. Rather that was by yourself or with your eternal love’s.
You smiled at that thought as you felt the baby inside of you start squirming.
Wait squirming?
It’s moving?
Your eyebrows frowned in confusion. You’ve never felt the baby move like this. You opened your mouth to speak but all that made a sound was little hums. That softened to nothing as your sight bounced from light to black.
You had plenty of time to die.
Or so you thought.

As Alice drove, she chatted about what the rest of the family had been doing. I found that they had moved to New York. Carlisle was teaching at Cornell part time which was, you know, just fantastic. So glad he was enjoying himself.
Emse was doing some historical reconstruction of some seventeenth century building. Emmett and Rosalie had gone to Europe for a honeymoon. Jasper was learning philosophy at Cornell. Alice meanwhile, had been doing some digging about her own past.
"My name was Mary Alice Brandon. I had a little sister named Cynthia. Her daughter- my niece- is still alive in Biloxi."
Mississippi.
"Did you find out why they put you in. . . that place? What would drive parents to that extreme? Even if their daughter saw visions of the future. . ." Bella asked.
"I couldn't find much about them. I went through all the old newspapers on microfiche. My family wasn't mentioned often; they weren't part of the social circle that made the papers. My parents' engagement was there, and Cynthia's. My birth was announced. . . and my death. I found my grave. I also filched my admissions sheet from the old asylum archives. The date on the admission and the date on my tombstones are the same."
The Cullens had been completely together- Edward was not with them- and they had been spending Spring Break in Denali with Tanya's family.
'Maybe Carlisle and Tanya are together' I thought blandly and was glad that I hadn't dragged Sam up there when I'd wanted to. That would've meant running into Carlisle and Sam probably would've tried killing him.
I sighed, peering out the window.
Once we got to the airport, I quickly made sure that my wig was in place before getting out of the car. Alice quickly bought three tickets to Italy. We would have to make a stop in New York and then board another plane through a connection to Italy.
There were no problems in the airport. People barely looked at me, which was such a relief I could laugh. My passport wasn't even looked at twice. Soon, we were on the plane. Bella's leg was bouncing up and down and Alice muttered, "It's faster than running."
Bella simply nodded.
I pulled out the book I'd brought with me. Yes, I know, I brought a book to save Edward from his demise. But really, if we were going to die, then I wanted to be enjoying a book.
I was reading The Necromancer: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. It was the fourth book in a series of six. It truly was a shame that I might not have the chance to finish the series off.
Alice lifted the phone off the back of the seat as the plane rose into the sky while Bella eyed the stewardress. I listened in to see who Alice was talking to. ". . . changing his mind. . . a killing spree through the city, attacking the guard, lifting a car over his head in the main square. . . mostly things that would expose them- he knows that's the fastest way to force a reaction. . . No, you can't! Tell Emmett no. . . Well, go after Emmett and Rosalie and bring them back. . . Think about it, Jasper. If he sees any of us, what do you think he will do?"
Pause.
She nodded, "Exactly. I think Bella and mom are the only chance- if there is a chance. . . I'll do everything that can be done, but prepare Carlisle-" His name sent shocks through my heart, "- the odds aren't good."
She laughed with a catch in her throat, "I've thought of that. . . Yes, I promise. Don't follow me. I promise, Jasper. One way or another, I'll get out. . .And I love you."
My heart caught in my throat. I felt so bad for her.
She hung up and closed her eyes, leaning back in her seat, "I hate lying to him."
I nodded. I hated lying to Sam. There was definitely a chance none of us were getting out of this.
Not that it mattered to me. My parents- dead. My brother Kol- dead. There was Sam and my werewolf sons. . . but they could get along without me. They'd be okay without me. They could survive. Sam had Emily. They had each other.
I rubbed the tattoo on my wrist. I loved them. I truly loved them. They were my family now. I wish I didn't have to leave them.
"Tell me everything, Alice. I don't understand. Why did you tell Jasper to stop Emmett, why can't they come help us?" Bella asked.
"Two reasons. The first I told him. We could try to stop Edward ourselves- if Emmett could get his hands on him, we might be able to stop him long enough to convince him, you're alive. But we can't sneak up on Edward. And if he sees us coming for him, he'll just act that much faster. He'll throw a Buick through a wall or something, and the Volturi will take him down."
She paused, thinking deeply and then added, "That's the second reason of course, the reason I couldn't say to Jasper. Because if they're there and the Volturi kill Edward, they'll fight them. Bella. If there was any chance we could win. . . if there was a way that the four of us could save my brother by fighting for him, maybe it would be different. But we can't, and, Bella, I can't lose Jasper like that."
Especially since he'd spent so much of his life fighting.
"Couldn't Edward hear you, though? Wouldn't he know, as soon as he heard your thoughts, that I was alive, that there was no point to this?" Bella asked in confusion.
"You can lie with your thoughts." I answered quietly.
"Exactly." Alice said sadly. "If you had died, I would still try to stop him. And I would be thinking 'she's alive, she's alive' as hard as I could. He knows that."
Bella gritted her teeth in frustration. I could only imagine her anger. If Carlisle had tried pulling this crap I would be angry too. After all, they didn't want us anymore. They had casted us aside like an unwanted dog that bit to much. Carlisle hadn't even bothered to say good-bye to me.
"If there was any way to do this without you, Bella, mom, I wouldn't be endangering you two like this. It's very wrong of me."
"Don't be stupid. I'm the last thing you should be worrying about. Tell me what you meant, about hating to lie to Jasper." Bella said, shaking her head.
She smiled grimly. "I promised him I would get out before they killed me, too. It's not something I can guarantee- not by a long shot."
"Who are these Volturi?" Bella asked. "What makes them so much more dangerous than Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, and you?"
I mostly stopped listening at this point. I knew they were dangerous. Aro could hear every thought in your head with one touch of your body. Marcus could test familial bonds, test and see where they were weak, gauge how strong they are.
There was Jane who could cause pain by looking at you. And then her opposite twin Alec who would cause no feelings at all. Then there was Demetri who could track you down knowing nothing but your name. Felix was as strong as Emmett, maybe stronger. Chelsea keeps the guard together with bonds and can also break bonds. Renata was Aro's shield. Santiago who also possessed great strength. Heidi was a bit of a fisher, able to lure the humans into Volterra for the others to eat.
I shivered, pulling out my earbuds. I drowned myself in babymetal so that I couldn't hear anything else.
I let the heavy metal with cute Japanese little girl voices sing in my head until I felt a jarring motion and realized we had landed in New York. Huh, it had felt rather short.
I pulled out my earbuds as Bella made Alice get up. We ran to get to our connection, but it was worth it as the plane took off almost immediately. I immediately set myself back into Baby metal, trying to fall asleep.
A few minutes- hours really- Alice motioned to both Bella and I excitedly. I groggily extracted my earbuds from my ears, wondering what she was so excited about. Night had fallen outside the windows.
"What's wrong?" Bella muttered.
"It's not wrong. It's right. They're deliberating, but they've decided to tell him no." Alice said with a smile.
That was good?
"The Volturi?" Bella muttered again.
"Of course, Bella, keep up. I can see what they're going to say."
"Tell me."
"Can I get you ladies a pillow?" A male flight attendant asked. I knew my wig was slightly loose so I didn't dare look at him.
"No, thank you." Alice said.
"Tell me." Bella said again.
"They're interested in him- they think his talent could be useful. They're going to offer him a place with them."
"What will he say?" Bella asked curiously while I gingerly fixed the hairline on the red wig. The bun was starting to give me a headache. I would be able to take it off once we were in Italy.
"I can't see that yet, but I'll be it's colourful. This is the first good news- the first break. They're intrigued; they truly don't want to destroy him- 'wasteful,' that's the word Aro will use- and that may be enough to force him to get creative. The longer he spends on his plans, the better for us."
Okay so it was good news. Good.
"Alice?"
"What?"
"I'm confused. How are you seeing this so clearly? And then other times, you see things far away- things that don't happen?" Bella asked curiously.
"It's clear because it's immediate and close, and I'm really concentrating. The faraway things that come on their own- those are just glimpses, faint maybes. Plus, I see my kind more easily than yours. Edward is even easier because I'm so attuned to him."
"You see me sometimes." Bella added.
"Not as clearly." Alice said.
"Clear enough you saw her cliff diving." I grunted.
Bella sighed, "I really wish you could have been right about me. In the beginning, when you first saw things about me, before we even met. . ."
"What do you mean?" Alice asked curiously.
"You saw me become one of you." Bella muttered so quietly I almost missed it. I almost sighed aloud.
Alice did sigh. "It was a possibility at the time."
"At the time." Bella repeated dully.
"Actually, Bella. . . Honestly, I think it's all gotten beyond ridiculous. I'm debating whether to just change you myself." Alice finally said.
I froze and so did Bella.
"Did I scare you? I thought that's what you wanted." Alice asked, confused, staring between the two of us.
"I do! Oh, Alice, do it now! I could help you so much- and I wouldn't slow you down. Bite me!"
"Jesus Bella." I hissed. "Shut up."
"Try to be reasonable." Alice said. "We don't have enough time. We have to get into Volterra tomorrow. You'd be writhing in pain for days. And I don't think the other passengers would react well."
"If you don't do it now, you'll change your mind."
"No. I don't think I will. He'll be furious, but what will he be able to do about it?"
"Nothing at all."
She laughed quietly and then added as an afterthought, "You have to much faith in me, Bella. I'm not sure that I can. I'll probably just end up killing you."
"I'll take my chances." Bella said stupidly.
"You are so bizarre, even for a human." Alice pointed out.
"Thanks." Bella said.
"Oh well, this is purely hypothetical at this point, anyway. First we have to live through tomorrow."
"Good point." Bella sounded excited. She looked sideways at me, "Will you be a vampire?"
I shook my head, "There's no point. Instead of a life time of sickness and suffering, it would just be endless forever suffering. No thanks."
"When you're a vampire, you might capture Carlisle's attention." Bella pointed out. "He wouldn't need distractions."
I scoffed, "Why would I chase a man who doesn't want me? If he doesn't love me as a human then he's not going to love me as a vampire. I shouldn't have to change myself to permanently to get his attention. Besides, Vampires aren't allowed on the Quileute rez so I'd much rather stay human thank you very much."
Bella was silent for a moment, probably lost in her own world again.
I fell back asleep and didn't wake again until the sky was turning pink and orange. I noticed Alice's late night enthusiasm was gone as we started to touch down in Florence, Italy. She was already talking to Bella and I listened in as I stretched, getting ready to exit the plane.
". . .got very close. He changed his mind at the last minute."
"He wouldn't want to disappoint Carlisle. Not at the end." Bella murmured.
"Probably."
"Will there be enough time?" Bella questioned.
"I'm hoping so- if he sticks to his latest decision, maybe." Alice said, but she didn't sound particularly hopeful.
"What is that?" Bella and I asked together.
"He's going to keep it simple. He's just going to walk out into the sun."
I didn't know if it would be enough. There were a lot of things that could be say. Reflective surfaces taped to his skin, glitter, sparkles, diamonds imbedded in his skin- hey rappers did weird things like that all the time- etc. There could be a very good reason for why his skin was sparkling. Grand effects for whatever.
". . . wants the biggest audience possible, so he'll choose the main plaza, under the clock tower. The walls are high there. He'll wait till the sun is exactly overhead."
"So we have till noon?" Bella asked.
"If we're lucky. If he sticks with this decision."
"How far is it from Florence to Volterra?"
"That depends on how fast you drive. . . Bella? Davina?"
"Yes?" We asked together, looking at her. I pulled on my leather jacket, fixing my wig slightly when no one was looking.
"How strongly are you opposed to grand theft auto?"
I grinned.
---------------
We careened down the road in a bright yellow Porsche. Honestly, I was having the time of my life, beaming, the wind down just slightly to feel the heavy breeze rolling through.
"There's Volterra." Alice announced after about fifteen or so minutes of driving. We'd been weaving in and out of traffic which had been terrifying at first, but I knew Alice wouldn't crash. I wasn't even wearing my seat belt.
I looked over to the see the city that looked like it was built on a mountain. It was all the same tan colour and it looked like a maze of walls and roads and buildings. The main plaza was probably smack dab in the middle, making it a literal maze. The surrounding area was forest of green trees and luscious fields.
We were so totally dead.
Alice drove through the roads, showing me that there were indeed layers to the city. She beeped as she tried not running people over. Everyone jumped out of the way, everyone was also wearing red which was really, really weird.
"Why are they all in red?" Bella asked as Alice moved through a large crowd of people.
"Saint Marcos Day festival." Alice replied with complete indifference, "They're commemorating the expulsion of vampires from the city. It's the perfect setting."
I snorted from the irony.
"The Volturi will never let him reveal himself."
"We have five minutes." Bella was practically crying in the front seat. I could feel my heart beating faster as my stomach churned at the deadline.
"Bella, just breathe." Alice said.
Police officers stopped us at the next check point. "Let's go." I muttered to Bella, throwing my door open. Bella threw her door open as well and we started to run.
"Where are we going?" Bella shouted after me.
"The clocktower of course." I shouted behind me.
Bella and I ran, pushing past people in red as much as we could. We ran up stairs, down alleyways as we searched for the clocktower.
The sun was beating down on us and I stripped off the leather jacket, wishing I'd brought something different so I could just tie it around my waist. Instead, I just held it under my arm as I sprinted, pushing past more people.
Me and Bella came to a stop as we reached a wall of people that were watching a parade go by.
"Come on." I muttered, starting to push through people. If I had to cross the parade to get to my son, I would.
Me and Bella dashed through an opening in the parade, continuing to cut through people. I could see the clock tower in front of us.
Pushing through the crowd of people, we suddenly found ourselves in front of a fountain. 'Well damn' I thought.
The clock hit twelve.
"Fuck." I cursed aloud, jumping up on the fountain, running along the edge of it like a balance beam, except it was wider than a beam.
I could see Edward walking out of the door and I could hear Bella screaming Edward's name behind me.
"Damn you Eddie." I muttered, sprinting towards him. I could hear splashing in the fountain and I knew that Bella was running across the fountain. I leapt off the stone fountain edge as he finished unbuttoning his shirt. Bella suddenly tore past me, water flying off her shoes as he stepped out into the light, tackling him backwards into the church.
Bella and I shoved him together into the clock tower, the doors slamming behind me. "Bella? Mom?"
I huffed, furious now that Edward was alive and in my sights, "You complete arsehole Edward Cullen!"
Edward looked slightly abashed, but he couldn't keep his attention on me for long, turning to Bella instead. I rolled my eyes, leaning against the stone wall. We'd probably have to stay here until night set. I hoped Alice could find us.
Was Bella really going to forgive Edward so quickly? Oh yep, they were kissing. Well damn.
I really hoped we took planes straight back to Forks and then they could go to Alaska to see the others. The last thing I wanted to do was see Carlisle again. The others- fine. My kids- fantastic, Esme- wonderful. Carlisle- fuck me.
Wrong choice of words.
Screw him.
No, wait.
Shit.
Suddenly, there was a noise like an elevator and I looked over to see two pale, male figures making their way over to us.
One was slightly smaller with blond hair while the other was bigger, hulk like, with dark hair.
"I won't be needing your services after all, gentlemen." Edward said, holding Bella close.
"Aro wants to speak with you again." The bigger folk said.
"No rules were broken." Edward protested.
"Nonetheless, we should take this conversation to a more appropriate venue." The smaller man said, looking at me and winking. I raised an eyebrow. Now that he was closer, I saw the blond was more of a dirty brown blond.
"Fine." Edward said. "Bella, Davina, why don't you two go and enjoy the rest of the festival?"
"The girls come with us." The bigger man said.
"Ooh lovely." I snarked under my breath.
"No. You can go to hell." Edward said.
"Eddie." I said sharply, raising an eyebrow.
Alice stepped in at that second, lowering the head scarf she had been wearing. "Come on guys. It's a festival. You wouldn't want to make a scene."
"We wouldn't." The dark haired man said when a third figure appeared. She was mostly definitely blond with large red eyes.
"Enough." She announced, tossing her hood back.
"Jane." Edward whispered.
"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long." Jane said, looking up at the darker haired man, then the lighter, looking at the other three, then me, before turning and going back the way she came. There was a no nonsense air about her and it made Edward follow after, Bella's hand tightly in his own. Alice followed after and I went with them.
The other two vampires waited till I passed by to bring up the rear.
The bigger man held out a red robe for Edward to put on, which he did.
"Go ahead." Jane said as she reached the part where the stairs turned downwards. We walked past and now the three of them were bringing up the rear.
Now that Edward was safe, I truly wasn't scared. We would meet Aro. We would either live or die. Personally, I preferred life, but it truly wasn't the biggest worry if I died. Although, admittedly, I hadn't redeemed myself yet and would probably be going to hell.
Eternal hell.
Lovely.
We finally filed into an elevator. While the others stood upright and stiff, I leaned against the wall. The better looking man, the small one who had winked, was staring at me. I looked back.
"Don't touch. I bite." I said, raising my eyebrows.
He grinned, "Oh, I like you."
I titled my head a little in acknowledgement. Jane snorted up front. The elevator music was horrible.
"Opera. Terrible." I muttered as the doors opened. The man snorted in laughter. The bigger man rolled his eyes.
We stepped into a lobby of sorts, a human woman behind the desk. I was surprised, but perhaps I shouldn't have been.
"Is she human?" Bella asked up front. I was walking between the man that seemed to like me- or at least I amused him- and Alice.
"Yes." Edward said.
"Does she know?" Bella asked after a few seconds.
"Yes." Edward was being quiet, like he didn't want anyone else to hear, which was ridiculous because I could hear which meant the vampires around us certainly could.
"Then why would. . .She wants to be." Bella answered her own question.
"And so she will be." The man next to me said.
"Or dessert." Jane said calmly ahead of us.
I rolled my eyes.
Jane opened up two double doors in front of us and revealed a large room that looked like a dome. In fact, it probably was. There were quite a few windows, but not enough for the light to fully reach the ground and make the vampires around us sparkle.
There weren't many vampires at all, two guards near the door, a young man in the middle of the floor, and three sitting upon thrones up on an altar.
"Sister, they send you out to get one and you come back with two." The vampire who must be Alec said. "And two halves making three. Such a clever girl."
I bit my tongue to keep from making a sarcastic remark.
The vampire sitting upon the middle throne- most likely Aro- stood, throwing his arms out wide. What a happy surprise! Bella is alive after all!" He stepped down the steps as we stopped.
He clapped his hands together, walking with normal speed towards us. Honestly, he wasn't that bad looking. His long black hair was pulled back in a ponytail and despite his three thousand year old age, he didn't look a day over thirty. His eyes of course, were red and I liked to image what they would look like if they were golden.
"Isn't that wonderful!" He finished. He reached out for Edwards' hand, "I love a happy ending. They are so rare."
I agreed. They were pretty much nonexistent.
He said something in Italian that I didn't bother understand because- I didn't know Italian. But whatever it was made Aro turn to look at Bella and he said, "Her blood appeals to you so much. . . it makes me thirsty."
I nearly snorted, but kept my attitude. Pretty sure a royal vampire king wasn't the kind of vampire I wanted to piss off.
"How can you stand to be so close to her?"
"It's not without difficulty." Edward responded.
"Yes, I can see that." Aro laughed, still holding Edward's hand. I had thought he only needed to briefly touch it, not hold it for extended periods of time.
I shifted my attention to the two vampires on the other thrones. Caius was even more handsome than in the painting. Not as good as Lucius Malfoy, of course, but still, rather decent. Marcus on the other hand looked like he had never gotten over the English days of King George.
I had clearly missed conversation as Aro turned his eyes to Bella and said, "Fascinating. I would love to see if. . ." He finally dropped Edward's hand, stepping back, "you are an exception to my gifts, as well." He held out his hand. Bella, after some hesitation, stepped forward and gave Aro her hand. "Would you do me the honor?"
I let my gaze wander until it landed on the other vampire again who winked. I smirked and then turned my attention back to Aro who was looking rather perturbed.
"Interesting. I see nothing. I wonder. . ." He turned his back, walking slightly back to his throne, "Let us see if she is immune to all our powers. Shall we, Jane?"
I hesitated for a fraction of an inch. Jane, of course, created pain with her mind. I did not want that to be used on Bella, but at the same time. . . I did not think that it would.
"No!" Edward protested, going to move in front of Bella when I stepped in front of Edward.
"Don't." I warned him. "Edward, stay calm and stay here."
Edward hesitated under my stern gaze and I raised an eyebrow. Jane turned her attention on Bella. Edward went to move and I put my hand on his shoulder. "Don't."
We waited, watching as Jane continued to gaze at Bella. Bella gazed back and nothing happened.
Aro started to laugh. I took it back. It was terribly creepy and I was really starting to dislike him. I let go of Edward's shoulder, moving back into the background.
"Remarkable." Aro said, clapping his hands together. Jane stared at him. "She confounds us all."
Aro turned to me, "And who are you?"
"Davina Michaelson." I replied.
"Ah yes, the Cullen mother." Aro said softly. "Carlisle's mate."
I rolled my eyes. "Not really, but sure."
"And does Edward have difficulty reading your mind?" Aro asked.
"No." I replied.
"Might I?" Aro asked, holding out his hand.
"I quite like my privacy, thank you."
"Mom." Edward hissed under his breath.
I wavered, glancing at him and then at Aro who looked intrigued.
If I was going to tell someone all of my deepest, darkest secrets, this vampire was the last person I wanted to know. Not to mention, Edward would be able to see everything as it flashed through Aro's mind.
It was uncomfortable feeling. Aro would know every moment of my life from the moment I was born to now. He would know about my relationship with Carlisle, what happened with my parents, and how I had nearly killed three different vampires using wooden stakes and a lighter.
"Edward, stay out of his head and mine." I said, holding out my hand.
Aro ignored it, stepping forward, his hands on either side of my face, pressing his lips to mine. I was shocked and froze. Memories flooded my mind. My first step, my fourth birthday party, playing in the ocean with Sam, my Uncle Josh greeting us at Fort Knox, Azim, my first kiss, the bombs, the death, the screaming, and everything else up until this moment.
Aro didn't let go of my hand for a very long time. It was cold, like all vampires hands, and there was a smoothness to it that suggested age. Almost soft.
We stared into each others' eyes before he finally let go. "You have one of the most traumatic lives I have ever seen." Aro whispered. "How do you handle it at such a young age?"
"I'm Davina Michaelson. I survive." I stated flatly.
"Strange, and your blood does not appeal to me, nor anyone else in this room." Aro murmured, almost to himself.
"Pretty sure that's a good thing." I said and I saw the man smile out of the corner of my eye. Felix on the other hand rolled his eyes.
"Indeed, although you were Carlisle's blood singer. . ." Aro said slowly.
"He has a theory that I'm one side of the spectrum for every vampire. Either the side that does crave my blood period or the side where I'm the blood singer. It's just lovely." I said sarcastically.
Aro smiled, bemused, "So what are we going to do with you now?"
"You already know what you are going to do, Aro." Marcus said from his throne, slouching like he didn't know what good posture was.
"They know to much. They are a liability." Caius said.
Well, so much for thinking he was good looking. I'd stick with the guy who seemed to like me.
"That's true." Aro said.
"Okay so, we're liabilities now." I stated, "But when we become vampires, that makes us not liabilities, right?"
Aro looked at me, "I did not realize you planned on becoming a vampire."
"Alice promised Bella to change her after we saved Edward from trying to die." I replied.
Edward shot me a look.
"And yourself?" Aro asked, raising an eyebrow.
I titled my head, thinking. "I told Carlisle to give me a few years. I wanted to be at least twenty five or older."
"And you're twenty now?"
"Almost twenty-one." I responded. "Coming April."
Aro tilted his head to the side, judging me. I looked at Alice, "You could show him."
Alice nodded, taking off her glove, extending her hand to Aro who took it in almost delight. I watched as Aro and Alice stared at each other. "Mesmerizing." Aro responded in an almost breathless whisper, "To see what you have seen. . . before it has happened." Aro moved in front of Bella, "Your gifts will make for an intriguing immortal." He caressed her cheek. I pursed my lips. I wondered what her gift was going to be.
"Go now." Aro said, backing away from us. "Make your preparations."
"Let us be done with this." Marcus said from his throne. "Heidi will arrive any moment." He stood up.
"Right, time to go." I said, hooking my arm through Alice's.
"Thank you for your visit." Marcus said to us.
Right, well at least he was polite.
"We will return the favor. I would advise that you follow through on your promise soon." Caius said, not rising from his throne. "We do not offer second chances."
Wow, just a ray of sunshine.
"Goodbye, my young friends." Aro said in delight to our backs as we exited the room.
"Nice fishing Heidi." The young man said as we passed by a tall vampire wearing a red dress and black gloves with heels. I felt sick, watching the people file past, especially when I saw that there were two children in the group.
"You have children in the group!" I protested as Edward and Alice led me and Bella faster and farther from the group.
The man looked at me, at first amused, and then almost apologetic. "It happens."
I swallowed hard as I heard the screams. Edward and Alice pushed us through the doors, blocking out the screams.
We went up the elevator.
"Which one are you?" I asked the man. "Santiago or Demetri?"
He looked just the faintest surprised that I knew the names and he said, "Demetri."
"Ah, the tracker." I said with a nod.
He smirked. "Indeed I am. And I think you would make a lovely vampire."
"I'm sure." I smirked.
He brushed my cheek lightly as the doors opened.
"Careful," I warned lightly. "I still bite."
He laughed lightly as I exited the elevator.
"Mom, you shouldn't flirt with him." Edward muttered.
"Yes, well as I am single and not seeing anyone, I have every right to flirt with whoever I feel like." I muttered.
Technically, the Volturi weren't bad people. I supposed if I did become a vampire, I could always come back here. I could see a life as part of the guard, specifically alongside Demetri. But then again, I don't think that would help with my attempts at redemption.
I knew all three of them would be curious about what Aro had meant about my life, but it wasn't any of their business. Edward was safe. Him and Alice would go back to Denali with their family, leaving us alone again.
I wondered if the wolves had caught Victoria yet, or if when we disappeared, she went too.
We caught another plane out of Florence- I had redone my red wig as I had taken it off once we'd landed in Florence the first time.
We landed in Rome and I called Sam.
Emily was the one who picked up, "Davina? Are you alright? Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, everything is fine. I'm on my way home. I need Sam to pick me up at the airport. Or any of the boys for that matter. We land early in the morning, I have no idea what time it is there right now. I just thought you should know."
"Okay, I'll pass along the message." Emily said, sounding exhausted.
"Thanks Em."
I hung up, leaving the bathroom and rejoining Edward, Alice, and Bella as we got ready to board the long flight from Rome to Atlanta.
I fell asleep during the flight as I was exhausted, dreaming about bombs, running, screaming, and vampires.
I woke up with a headache, feeling sicker than I had in days. I drank a sprite to keep it down. Once we landed in Atlanta, I hurried to the bathroom to throw up and once the plane from Atlanta to Seattle was ready to leave, I felt better.
I fell asleep on this flight as well, feeling well rested when I woke up as the flight landed.
Edward, Alice, and Bella were the first off the flight and then Jasper was there, standing in front of Alice.
Aw shit, the family was here.
I looked around quickly, ignoring the blond and red head in the corner. I couldn't deal with Carlisle right now.
"Davina!" I heard a familiar young voice call.
I broke out in a grin, seeing Seth, Jared, and Sam there. I ran over to them, hugging them all fiercely. "Hey guys."
"Why are you wearing a red wig?" Seth asked in confusion. I took it off, stuffing it in my bag along with my fake passport.
"No reason." I lied. "Are you ready to go home?"
"Sure." Sam said, glaring over my shoulder.
"Sam, ignore them." I muttered.
"Are you alright?" Jared asked in concern.
"Yep, just flirted with a few vampires, saved Edward's life, no big deal."
"Alright, well come on mom." Jared said.
"Wait," I paused, really taking in the fact that Seth was here with Sam. I looked from Seth to Sam and then poked Seth's right arm. "Do you have a tattoo there?"
"Oh yeah." Seth grinned, "It's honestly so awesome."
"What colour wolf are you?" I asked.
"Grey." Seth said excitedly. "Leah's one too."
"What!" I exclaimed.
Sam slung an arm around my shoulder, "You smell terrible."
"Thank you ugly." I muttered. "Come on, let's go."
Carlisle P.O.V.
My anxiety swelled as Davina stepped off the plane, looking more beautiful than ever. I felt better than I had in months and I took a moment to see just how sick she was. She was thin, the unhealthy kind of thin, and she didn't give us the time of day, heading straight for the wolves when she landed.
Alice and Edward hesitated, noting my reaction.
"She thinks you hate her." Alice said, sounding apologetic, glancing between Edward and myself. "I think. . . I think you have some things you need to tell both of them Edward."
Edward looked completely ashamed of himself, but was more focused on Bella than anything else, "Yeah, I will."
That wasn't comforting at all.

*ahem* Yandere Alec & Jane x Reader
Think about it,
When Bella goes to save Edward from the Volturi, Reader comes along to make sure their older sister Bella goes home alive only to make first contact with Jane.
Jane would be the quiet yet protective Yandere type, meaning when Jane first felt the bond she instantly wants the Reader close to her.
As Jane tells Bella, Edward, Alice and Reader to follow her with Felix and Demitri behind them(of course Jane makes sure to hold on to the Readers wrist lightly but strong enough)
Soon the group is in the throne room, Alec soon feels the same type of bond just like Jane and looks at Reader with hungry eyes.
Alex is the type of yandere that gets jealous easily and just wants to keep the reader locked up in a room.
Soon both siblings are on each of the readers side being protective and clingy, holding onto their hand and arms for recurrence and security.
Of course the reader is not used to it and gets freaked out and tries to get close to their older sister Bella, Bella doing the same thing by trying to reach out to the reader.
But the reader gets pulled back from Bella and has been forced to stay by the Volturi and the siblings FOREVER.
Ah yes now you’re talking my love language, who doesn’t just love them an unhinged partner
❝forced to stay❞
Tumblr media
✭ pairing : yandere jane volturi x reader x yandere alec volturi
✭ fandom : twilight x reader
✭ summary : the moment she made a contact with the twins she should’ve known that her fate was sealed
✭ authors note : I don’t know what it is about having a unhinged partner, but I find it oddly romantic . Like for an example I have been dating my current boyfriend for almost a year now and only recently I would say a couple of months back. He told me that he was going to look up my location and come to my house after I did not respond to him for the first few days of us talking, we were not dating in the beginning, obviously so the fact that this man was going to somehow get access to my location whew gurl, this man got me down bad

The evening had settled in, casting long shadows as Bella Swan sat in her room, her thoughts consumed by worry for Edward. She had barely spoken to him since he left, and the emptiness was overwhelming. Just then, a light knock on her window startled her, and she turned to find Alice Cullen perched on the windowsill, her golden eyes filled with urgency.
"Bella," Alice began, her voice laced with concern, "we need to talk."
Bella's heart raced as she sat up straighter. "What is it, Alice?"
"It's Edward," Alice said, her voice steady yet grave. "He's planning to expose himself to humans—to reveal his true nature—in order to provoke the Volturi into killing him."
The words struck Bella like a physical blow. Her mind raced, unable to comprehend what she had just heard. "No, he can't be serious," Bella whispered, her voice trembling.
Alice's expression was somber. "He believes it's the only way to keep you and your family safe from the Volturi's attention."
Tears welled in Bella's eyes as the gravity of the situation settled in. "I have to stop him," she said, her voice determined.
Alice nodded in agreement. "I'm coming with you."
As Bella stood, her gaze locked onto the window, and she realized that someone else was listening. Turning, she saw her younger sister, (y/n), standing at the door, her expression a mix of concern and determination.
"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" Bella asked, surprised yet touched by her sister's presence.
"I heard everything," (y/n) replied, her voice steady. "And I'm coming too."
Bella's heart swelled with a mixture of pride and worry. "(Y/n), this is dangerous. I can't let you get involved."
(Y/n) stepped forward, her eyes unwavering. "Bella, you're my sister. I can't just sit back while you face this alone."
Alice's lips curled into a small smile. "She's right, Bella. We're all in this together."
Bella hesitated, torn between her protective instincts and the realization that her family's bond was unbreakable. Finally, she nodded. "Fine, you can come. But promise me you'll stay close and follow my lead."
(Y/n) nodded, determination gleaming in her eyes. "I promise."
With the decision made, the three of them exchanged a look that held a mixture of worry and resolve. The bond between sisters ran deep, and their determination to protect each other was unyielding.
As they stepped out of the house, ready to face the perilous journey ahead, Bella knew that no matter what challenges they encountered, they would face them together. The unbreakable bond between sisters would guide them through the darkness, giving them the strength to save the ones they loved, even if it meant facing the Volturi themselves.
As Bella, Alice, and (y/n) approached the Volturi chamber, a tense atmosphere hung in the air. Shadows danced across the walls, and the weight of their purpose settled heavily upon them. Just as they were about to enter, a trio of figures appeared, drawing their attention.
Jane, Demetri, and Felix materialized before them, their presence both unsettling and foreboding. (Y/n) sensed the intensity of the situation, her instincts on high alert. Her gaze locked with Jane's, and a strange shiver ran down her spine. Unbeknownst to her, Jane's connection to (y/n) ran deep, fueled by the intense bond of mates.
Demetri's voice cut through the air, his tone respectful yet firm. "The kings are awaiting your presence. Follow us."
Bella exchanged a wary glance with Alice, a silent acknowledgment of the gravity of the situation. With a nod, they followed Demetri and Felix, their steps echoing in the dimly lit corridor. The tension was palpable, and (y/n)'s heart raced as they moved closer to their destination.
As they entered the chamber, (y/n) felt a shiver run down her spine once more. The Volturi kings sat upon their thrones, exuding an air of authority and power. Aro, Caius, and Marcus regarded them with interest, their eyes glinting with curiosity as they took in the unexpected guests.
"(Y/n) Swan and Bella Swan," Aro's voice rang out, his tone laced with intrigue. "A pleasure to have you with us."
(Y/n)'s and her sister Bella’s eyes widened, taken aback by Aro's direct acknowledgment of her presence. They offered a tentative nod, voices momentarily caught in their throat.
“So tell me, why have you come here? Why do two humans and one vampire stand before us?” Aro questions obviously amused with the whole situation.
As the conversation with the Volturi kings continued, (y/n) felt a strange sensation wash over her. The intensity of Alec's gaze upon her didn't go unnoticed. Unbeknownst to her, the same bond that had sparked between her and Jane had also formed with Alec, albeit with different implications.
Alec's eyes, hungry and possessive, trailed over (y/n) as if she were the only thing in the room. An invisible thread connected them, a connection that (y/n) couldn't comprehend. Her heart quickened under his gaze, an unfamiliar heat blooming within her.
As the conversation continued, (y/n) found herself shifting uncomfortably under the weight of Alec's gaze, a sense of unease settling in the pit of her stomach. Soon before she knew it Alec and Jane were standing before her, they clinged to her every being allowing no room for others to touch or even get near her.
Their presence was suffocating .
(Y/n)'s world had become a whirlwind of confusion and unease. She felt like a puppet, caught between the possessive affections of Alec and Jane on one side and the protective concern of Bella on the other. It was suffocating, overwhelming, and completely foreign to her.
As (y/n) attempted to navigate through the tense atmosphere, her heart rate quickened. Alec and Jane were by her side, their grip on her hand and arms feeling like a constant reminder of their presence. The clinginess and possessiveness made her uncomfortable, and she found herself longing for a moment of solitude.
Bella's attempts to reach out to her were a lifeline in this sea of intensity. She wanted to cling to her sister, the familiar bond between them offering a semblance of normalcy. But every time she tried to get closer to Bella, Alec and Jane would pull her back, their possessive gestures preventing her from seeking comfort in her older sister's arms.
Torn between the conflicting desires of those around her, (y/n) felt trapped. She wanted to be with Bella, to find solace in her sister's embrace, but Alec and Jane's hold on her was unyielding.
Then, the announcement from Marcus changed everything. His words echoed in the chamber, declaring that (y/n) was Alec and Jane's mate. The shock and realization of what that meant sent tremors through her. It was a bond she didn't understand, a connection that both terrified and intrigued her.
As the truth sank in, the weight of her circumstances settled on her shoulders. Aro, always the master manipulator, took advantage of the situation. He presented Bella and Alice with an unfair deal, Edward's life in exchange for (y/n)'s captivity among the Volturi.
The decision was left to (y/n), and despite the unease and discomfort, she found herself speaking up. "Agree to the deal," she told Bella and Alice, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. "I'll be fine. You have to save Edward."
It was a sacrifice that she never thought she would have to make, but (y/n) was determined to protect her loved ones, no matter the cost. As the deal was settled, (y/n) felt a mixture of fear and determination coursing through her veins. Her life had taken an unexpected turn, and now she had to face an uncertain future, bound to two yandere vampires who held an inexplicable claim over her heart and soul.

Note
Can you do the guards reacting to them getting walking in on while they are having fun with their mate, like on the couch or somewhere in their room besides the bed so they just throw a blanket over them to cover themselves.
𝖁𝖔𝖑𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖎 𝖌𝖚𝖆𝖗𝖉
Im back with my bs, eat up darlings
Alec
Instant anger
It's not easy to anger him, though he may get testy sometimes
But when it comes to you, he would consider it a dishonor to not be
It's a good thing his gift is what it is, because whoever walked in loses every sense they have until they are shoved out the door - and rather roughly at that
Later on they'd come to you apologising profusely, almost sweating despite being physically unable to, and rest assured it will never happen again
Not after what Alec did after
Jane
Nobody
And I mean nobody
Has the guts to invade Jane mother fucking volturi's privacy
The kings just wouldn't generally, always sending someone to fetch her rather than going to her themself
And death from disobeying Caius seems more merciful than whatever Jane would do to them for not just exposing her, but her mate
But on the 0.0001% chance it did happen, they would be on the floor screaming and writhing before even seeing you
She is well respected (and feared) and wants her love to be held to the same standard
Demitri
One cocky peice of shit
Half of him wants to keep going
To show everyone that you're his, to let them know just how good he can make you feel
You're beautiful, a work of art. You should be appreciated
But the other half of him wants to keep you to himself. You're so good looking, he could just gobble you up
And he wants to keep that to himself
So with his teeth bared and a low threatening growl with an unsaid promise to do some damage, whoever walked in would just walk straight back out
Oh, and he has no intentions of stopping either. He meant it when he said he could just gobble you up
Felix
Probably doesn't even notice at first
You just feel so good, all he can focus on is the sounds you're making and he's all-consumed by you
You'd probably be the first to notice
And when you make him aware, he is not happy
Felix has a reputation within the volturi. It's why he's in the elite guard, it's why his known as the 'executioner'
The person knows to walk out
They know to keep their mouth shut
Because Felix has that reputation for a reason
And just because he's all warm and fuzzy like a giant teddy bear in the privacy in your shared quarters, doesn't mean that's how he is with the rest of the volturi
In other words: whoever walked in is scared shitless, and they better hope Felix was too distracted by you to see their face. They also should hope for your mercy to not tell him who they are

Hiiiii I've said it bef9re and I will say it again because let's be honest YOU'RE WRITING IS AMAZING!!!! I absolutely adore your creativity!! I was wondering if I can request something?
Once again it's for alec volturi (shocking I know😂😂) yandere/possessive alec x vampire reader. You can choose how they meet but basically he kidnaps her and she fights for a long time just entirely resists him physically and verbally like constantly talks back. Until eventually after many escape attempts (failed because jane or felix or demitri brings her back evrytime) she gives in and starts to love him. He collars her as a sign of his possessive ownership and she is submissive to him and with him but aggressive ig to everyone else( sorry idk how to word that last part) if it's too much or you're not comfortable I understand❤❤
(A/n: Got me smiling and shit-😂)
(Just in case anyone either never read the books or doesn't remember it from the books but, since vampires are the same temperature, they feel warm to each other)
(Here's a pdf of the book; page 436, 7th line down for any doubters lmao)
Word Count: 1,464
Summary: In which Alec takes a bit too much interest in his mate
Warnings: Kidnapping, Stockholm Syndrome, Collaring
Age Rating: Pg 13
Tumblr media
Tactile Power Transferal- the ability to take another vampire's power with a touch and transfer it to whom the user pleases.
Very useful
Unfortunately for you, that's what Aro thought too
Double jeopardy because you found out your mate was a member of the elite guard
You would have been mostly fine with it had he not gotten possessive as much and as quick as he did
It got to the point of not being able to leave the castle unless under order of the kings
Naturally, you fought the imprisonment, but you were never successful
Which leads us to your current predicament:
"Put me down!" You yell, fists pounding the executioner's back.
Not that it affected Felix in any way.
You had managed to escape once more, but was quickly tracked down by Demetri. Once you were cornered, the larger of the two had unceremoniously tossed you over his shoulder so the trip back was -albite just a fraction- easier.
"You do realize that if you stopped running, you wouldn't have to be carried back all the time?" The tracker quips.
"Shut up you damned, bloodhound..." you growl.
He scoffs. "Ouch. That'd actually hurt if it was scent that I track."
You settle for glaring at him, not wanting to deal with him any longer.
-
"From now on, there will be guards stationed outside your chambers; they will be posted outside the door and windows." Aro states with a finality that you can't bring yourself to argue.
Caius chimes in as you lower your gaze to the floor. "How many times do you think we will put up with your traitorous actions? The only reason you're still alive after running away all these times is because of who your mate is. Don't mistake it for leniency. And don't think our patience isn't thinning. Keep this behavior up and you will see first hand why we are known as such fierce rulers."
"Take her back to her room." He commands Felix.
So starts your walk of shame back to captivity.
As much as you hate him for repeatedly placing you back in your cage, you appreciate that he only walks quietly behind you through the halls.
Finally reaching your room, you see that the guards are already positioned. You step in, locking the door behind you.
"You'd be a lot happier here if you stopped fighting."
"I'm not in the mood for you, Alec." You can't bring yourself to care that he's seemingly made himself at home in your room. Too mentally exhausted from constantly pushing against an immovable force.
Somewhere in the back of your mind, you know you'll never escape. That it would be so much easier to just give in. Maybe you should. It's not like you have any other options.
'You could always expose yourself. They'd have to kill you then...' No. You ignore the tiny voice. You're not that desperate -not yet any way.
In a flash, Alec has you pinned to the wall by the neck.
His face is twisted into a gnarly sneer.
"You think you have a choice?" He lets out a crude laugh. "You will 'be in the mood for me' whenever I so much as snap my fingers, do you understand me?"
He emphasizes his question by applying more pressure. You can feel the beginning of cracks snake their way around your neck as he waits for your response.
You know it's not just a bluff. He's ripped a limb off before when you spat every curse you knew at him. Turns out the process of limbs reattaching themselves isn't a fun one.
"Do. You. Understand?" He presses further.
"Yes." you whimper as the pain increases, skin splintering like wood left to dry rot.
Just as soon as it started, he lets you go. You let out an unneeded yet shaky breath. He's never threatened death, even if it would only be temporary.
Shit.
There really is no saving yourself.
'All it takes is one step into the sun,' the voice reminds.
'Though, if you really don't want that, there is another way...' The voice is right, but that would mean going against everything you've been fighting for.
'You don't really have much of a choice anymore,' it reminds.
Maybe you're right...
-
Over the next few months, you had stopped trying to run. You had fought every nerve in your body that jumped when Alec was near. Started to force yourself to initiate physicality and affection. Even though you felt like you were burning with every touch and pet name, you pushed through it so that maybe, just maybe, you could trick yourself into thinking you actually loved him.
You don't know when pretending turned in to being genuine. All you know is that one day you were feigning being happy to see him and the next, you were practically bouncing in place as you waited for him to get back from his guard duties.
Only going through the motions of a kiss turned into eagerly pressing kisses to his face and neck, making your way to his lips when you'd been separated for weeks.
You'd fallen and you'd fallen hard. It should scare you, but you can't bring yourself to care when you were no longer mentally and physically in pain. Not when you stopped being guarded 24/7, not when Alec seemed so happy about your new attitude; constantly bringing you beautifully crafted pieces of jewelry or carefully arranged bouquets of your favorite flowers. Not when he would whisper the loveliest things to you in the dead of night as he held you against his chest.
The kings were also pleased with your turn of attitude, though the same couldn't be said for a specific pair within the guard. Let's just say you still hold a grudge against the two that repeatedly humiliated you; carrying you around the castle over their shoulders -or worse, one time they had you held between them: one holding you under the arms while the other held your ankles like you were a fucking jump rope.
So, no, you wouldn't be amicable towards those two any time soon.
You break from your thoughts when your mate enters your, now shared, bedroom with a small box in hand.
"What's this?" You question when he sits next to you, handing the parcel over.
You gently pull the ribbon and take the lid off to reveal a beautifully woven choker. It's a black satin, sewn with a deep red lace. In the middle is a little bow with silver 'A' charm.
"Just a little something to show who you belong to," Alec answers.
You glance to him and back the collar. "It's beautiful." You run you finger lightly along the red lace. "Put it on me?"
"Of course," he holds his hand out for the box. You hand it to him amd turn to the side.
You feel his warm hand glide across the back of your neck, moving your hair out of the way. Alec brings the collar across your front and easily clasps it in the back, fixing your tresses to their original position.
You turn back to him as he takes hold of your jaw, pulling you into a searing kiss.
"You're mine," he murmurs into the kiss.
Your hands slide into his hair as you mumble an agreement.
Before you can blink, your back is on the mattress and Alec is hovering above you. He trails his kisses down to your jaw and to your neck, slowly kissing his way to the neck of your top.
You can't help the stuttered breath that leaves you when he nips at your collarbone.
Looking down at him, a whisper of his name leaves your lips. "Alec..."
His eyes are near black when he looks up at you. You can't help but pull him back to your lips, teeth clashing as you both lose your sense. Not that you can be bothered to care; all you can focus on is 'Alec, Alec, Alec' playing like a mantra in your mind. His taste, his smell, his feel. He's invading all your senses and you couldn't be more content.
Alec loops a finger under the choker, pulling you to be impossibly closer. He breaks away only long enough to ask: "Let me show you who you belong to?"
"Please," your legs wrap around his hips in a futile attempt to pull him even closer.
An almost sadistic smirk appears on his face as he dives back to your lips. He hikes one of your legs higher so he can press his hips to yours and-
Oh.
Oh, it's going to be a long night.
Not that you can find it in yourself to mind...

Chapter 5
Athenadora wrapped a hand around your wrist closest to her and pulled you along as she sped through the halls of the castle.  This wasn’t the first time that you had travelled at this speed with her (behind closed doors, Athenadora was quite the thrill seeker – you often wondered whether this was a product of her previous existence and the time period in which she grew up) but it was the first time that the cloying stenches of fear and urgency hung in the air with this much intensity.
“The less our enemies know about your divine parentage, the better.”  Aro had said once when you asked him why he didn’t let you use the full range of your godly abilities.  Caius had agreed and added that if too many supernatural beings observed you using your godly abilities, not only would they be able identify your immortal parent but they would also be able to identify the weaknesses in your defences.
Alabaster was standing in the throne room when you, Athenadora, and Jasper appeared in the doorway.  Claymore was nowhere to be seen.  Felix stood in front of Alabaster protectively with a snarl on his face.  Your own mate was holding Edward by the throat while the younger vampire writhed in his grip.  Metres away, Jane stood next to Aro, glaring at Edward with narrowed eyes. Rosalie and Emmett were glaring furiously at Edward as he twitched. Sulpicia was present as well.  Her hand was wrapped around the left pole of Aro’s throne.
What surprised you the most was not the fact that Alice was standing protectively in front of Bella but the fact that she was glaring intently at Edward.
“You thought that you could abuse our generosity and sneak away from Volterra with your family undetected?”  Marcus snarled furiously.  If your mate’s actions hadn’t clued you in that Edward had grievously offended the Kings then the change in your mate’s words definitely would have.
When Alice spotted you, Athenadora and Jasper, she gently tugged Bella over to the three of you.  The female vampire took great care to walk quickly behind the Volturi guards to reach you; she probably figured that she and Bella would be safer if they were closer to you and Athenadora.
“Edward was plotting to manipulate the Kings’ minds and make them think that their mates were in danger.”  Alice explained in a rush, “The next part of his plan was to depart Volterra with us when the Kings were distracted, knowing that it would take time and resources for the Kings to arrive in Forks.  By that time, he planned to fabricate events after he broke the spell on the residents of Forks and mislead Carlisle and Esme into thinking that the Volturi held us hostage.”
As Alice summarised Edward’s plan you felt your anger grow until it was nearly reaching boiling point.  Your rage amplified Marcus’ and his grip on Edward’s throat tightened.  Spotting this, Jane increased her attack on Edward.
“While the immediate reaction to Edward Cullen’s betrayal is amusing to say the least, we must consider the repercussions of his actions.”  Demitri drawled.
Aro considered Demitri’s words before laying a hand on Jane’s shoulder.  She stared up at Aro and after an unspoken exchange, Jane released Edward.  The vampire went limp in Marcus’ grasp and Marcus threw him onto the floor with a distasteful flick of his wrist.  Despite his aggression, Marcus stepped silently over to your small group.  Your presence appeared to reassure him and the King lost some of his tension.
“Your plans and actions reflect badly upon you, your family and your sire.”  There was no friendliness in Aro’s tone and Edward sensed this.  He kept his gaze locked on the floor.
“The last time that you enjoyed our hospitality, you behaved in a similar manner.  You went so far as to try to attack one of the Guard.  Your attempt was unsuccessful but the fact remains that your intent was to harm one of the Volturi.”  Your eyes widened as your mind attempted to discern who Edward could have tried to attack.
Edward’s eyes cut over to Bella who was steadfastly ignoring him and choosing to peer at Caius instead.
“She will not help you this time.”  Marcus rumbled.  “It is time that you face the consequences of your actions.”
“To punish you is to punish all.”  Aro continued, “You did not consider the consequences of your actions when you brought Bella into our world underprepared.  She was exceedingly fortunate that she did not encounter a Strigoi or Empousai.  Her fate would have been much worse if she had.”
“Do not prolong this Aro.”  Marcus ordered.  “You already know the course of action that you wish to take and I have lost far too much time with my mate as it is.”
“I apologise brother.”  Aro inclined his head, “I know how important our mates are to us.  My judgement is that your relationship with Bella Swan cannot be allowed to continue.”
“And how will you enforce this ban on our relationship?”  Edward challenged.  “Forks and Volterra are quite far apart.”
“With my help and Bella’s permission of course,” Alabaster replied, stepping away from Felix.
“Bella won’t agree to whatever you have planned.”
“I am perfectly capable of making decisions for myself!”  Bella hissed venomously.  “Or did you forget that my vote was the deciding one when we discussed casting the spell on the residents of Forks to slow time?”
You were relieved that Bella had the courage to stand up for herself because prior to her outburst, you were worried that Bella had sacrificed too much of herself to stay appealing to Edward.
“Bella-”
“No Edward!”  Bella cut him off, “I’ve heard what you planned to do and now I want to hear Alabaster’s plan.”
Alabaster paused and you realised that he was waiting for someone to appear.  Part of you wondered whether he was communicating telepathically with whoever it was since that was one of his powers as a child of Hecate.  Within seconds, Chelsea raced to his side.  Fragments of Alabaster’s plan began to piece themselves together in your mind.
“Bella your life has been disrupted too much by the supernatural world.  With my magic, I plan to give you a chance at a normal life away from all of this chaos.  The spell I am intending to cast will bury your memories deep inside your mind.  Your memories will not be the only ones altered.  This spell will alter the memories of every being that calls Forks home, including her supernatural inhabitants.  If you and Edward are truly destined to be together, your memories will return and the sky will glow a radioactive pink for three consecutive years.”
“Alabaster.”  Sulpicia rebuked.  You could tell that her heart wasn’t really in the rebuke as a smile was tugging at the corners of her lips.
“If the universe corrects its mistake and the two of you aren’t destined for each other, your memories will stay forgotten.  This part of your life will be nothing more than a bad dream.  Chelsea is here to ensure that the bond-”
“The frayed and barely functional bond.”  She put in.
“The frayed and barely functional bond,” Alabaster agreed, “is broken painlessly.”
“What about Victoria?” Alice questioned.
“She will be dealt with.  By us.”  Athenadora vowed.
Bella scanned the room.  Her eyes lingered on the Cullens and you saw her mouth move as she focused on Alice.  You couldn’t make out what Bella mouthed to Alice but Alice bowed her head with a devastated expression.
“Do it.”  Bella ordered with a determined tone, “I’m ready.”

maybe a volturi insert that lookes like sixteen or fifteen but she can see someone's future by choice (kinda like Alice) but the longer and more she does it, the more her blood lust rises so she has to feed more frequently because she can become weak. so like one day when Aro asks her to do it and she does it for a long time, she becomes a bit weak (she's still a vampire) and Demetri has to assist her (they're good friends cause she's been alive for like a hundo years) and when eddie and bella come to volterra and stuff they're not surprised because the insert saw them coming. and edward is super respectful to her and everything and carlisle and insert had a mentor/student relationship and insert has LOTS of respect for carlisle. but alive and her are kinda stand-offish. insert sees bella's future on Aro's request and she gets a little blood lust and has to restrain herself from basically chomping bella

Volterra was the last place she wanted to be at. She didn't think that stopping Edward from committing vampire suicide was something that she had to do during her immortality, but the Cullens were her dearest friends and she was going to save Edward from making the dumbest decision he's has made in a long time. Standing before the Volturi took a whole other level of courage.
Aro, an annoyed arrogant vampire who looked like he was friends with Lestat De Lioncourt. Jane, a ruthless masochist. Caius, who had no special powers but he was just as masochistic as Jane. Marcus, he looked like he was in actual pain all of the time and everyone was pretty sure that he hated being immortal. Demitri, a tracker, a friend to her. He was the only one who she wasn't metaphorically sweating bullets for.
"Why dus you decide to come here?" Asked Jane. Her eyes were already filled with a hunger to cause somebody excruciating pain. "I want to die." Edward said with a deadpan expression that it almost made the Volturi laugh. Jane couldn't hide the small menacing smile that etched across her lips. "He thinks the mortal he's in love with is dead. She's alive!" She explained. She was growing frustrated as only she knew that and Edward refused to believe her. "I saw her in the future and she's coming here." Edward dull eyes still wouldn't brighten up at the thought of seeing the girl he loved standing right beside him.
"May I?" Aro asked, lifting his hand for her to take. She gulped nervously and with shaking knees she walked towards him gently grabbing his pale hand for him to see into her mind. She had used her powers earlier in the day to see Edward and Bella visiting Volterra so she knew that she wouldn't be able to handle this. He was shown a bare-foot, golden eyes Bella running in the woods holding hands with Edward. Aros eyes gleamed with excitement. "Incredbile." He said in Italian with a sigh of amazement. She looked at him with a deadpan expression. "It's amazing how much this young immortal is willing to go to save you. It takes great courage to stand before us." Marcus said in his exhausted voice.
As she released her hand from his, she began to feel weak as her knees buckled and she stumbled back. Dimitri quickly assisted her before she could fall to the cold floor. "You okay?" She nodded as a way to tell him that she was fine. Dimitri looked up at Aro and spoke. "She gets weak if she uses her gift for too long, Aro." Ar let out a giggle as be realized that she was I'm need of sustenance. "Are you alright?" Edward asked with his usual kind demeanor. She wondered about how he was so calm about this. He looked broken and depressed from the pain that he had caused Bella. "Are you alright?" She asked back with a hint of sarcasm lacing her voice. "You know, she's fine." She reassured him once more but he was in too much denial to believe her words. Aro looked at Edward and saw that he was just too special to die. "Dear, Edward. I feel like you would be throwing away your very special gift. You're too valuable for us to kill you." Aro explained.
Edward snickered as he lowered his head as if he just had a very strange thought. "What are you planning?" She whispered to him. "I can't live without her." She had never seen a vampire hold such emotion— especially for a human. "I told you, she's fine." Her black blood-thirsty eyes pleaded, trying to get him to understand. Edward walked out of the room passing by the secretary who was willing to die to become what they were. She followed him, holding her nose from the human. He slowly started to unbutton his shirt in the sunlight surrounded by people in red rejoining in harmony. The sun was cascading on his pale skin. She saw him beginning to gleam like he was made out of crystals, and she began to panic. "Edward! No!" A familiar voice coming from far away called out. She realized who it was and shook Edward "It's Bella! Edward Stop doing this!" She said with frustration. She saw her, Carlisle and Alice running as fast as they could to get to him before it was too late. "It can't be." His empty eyes turned to longing as he tried to remove his shirt. Suddenly, he was wrapped by loving and familiar arms. "My Bella." He said breathlessly as she began to guide him inside of the building that was behind them.
"Aro would like to speak with you?" The eager secretary interjected. She held the heavy door for them and walked in with reluctance. "Ciao Bella." Aro said with a wide creepy smile. "Ah, Alice. Ira Ira nice to see you." Alice nodded. "You too, Aro." She said with slight bitterness ess. "There has been great talk of you here, Bella. The future immortal is finally within our midst." He giggled. Edward tensed ho at his choice of words. "You showed him?" Alice asked her in qn annoyed tone. "You know what would happen if they found out." She stated. Alice rolled her eyes, and turned to Bella who seemed very anxious to get out of the room filled with vampires. Her body was shivering with the coldness of the room. "May I ask you to use your gift once more?" Aro asked. "I'm not sure that's a good idea." She replied. "Per favore, cara mia?" He asked softly bit his crimson eyes looked threatening. Dimitri and Carlsile looked over at her with concern as they both knew of what was coming. She once again walked over to Aro looking anywhere but at him and grabbed his hand. Once again the golden eyed Bella flashed across her mind running with Edward with their hands intertwined.
She let go of his with a jerk as she was overcome with need. A desperate need for blood. Carlisle was quick to notice the shift in her stance and hunger, but she almost couldn't control herself. Her body lunged at Bella with an animalistic sense of instict. Edward acted quickly by jumping in front of Bella in a protective stance to keep her from getting bit. Alice was holding her back, trying to buy them time. "Get Bella out of her." She grunted with gritted teeth trying to stop the urge from consuming her completely. "Hey, hey. It's okay. You're okay." Alice tried to calm her down as if she was a frightened animal, she used the same tone she used to talk to Jasper. "Her blood is very attractive isn't it?" Aro laughed. Alice glared at him, throwing daggers at him in her head. "Would you like the first pick of the humans?" Jane said humorously while also being completely serious. "I can handle myself. She grunted again. "I'm not weak." She continued. That earned her a scowl from Aro. "Let's get you home okay." Alide said, grabbing her by the arm to support the hungry vampire. As they were leaving she muttered "hunt." Alice smiled and nodded and closed the door behind them.

I just finished reading your fic Second Meeting and I loved it! But it has me thinking.
If Demitri is able to break out and flee the Volturi would he go to the Cullens for help? I wonder what the culture shock would be of living with vegetarian vampires and wolves would be? How do you think Edward would react to having him there?
It's all so interesting and you've made me a lot more interested in his character. Thank you and keep up writing!
I think he would, at least for a short time. Not because he wants to emulate them or anything, but the end of Breaking Dawn left the vampire world with the distinct impression that there might possibly be a seditious movement forming around the Cullens. Besides being eager for the protections of numbers and gifts, he'll want the latest news, and he'll have to decide whether or not to offer his allegiance. He might even try to accelerate "the cause," much to Carlisle's alarm, offering his experience and inside knowledge of Volterra in the coming war.
Also, if Chelsea if still alive in this scenario, Demetri will be uncomfortably aware that Bella is the only one who can protect him. So that's another motive. Edward's just going to love that.
If Demetri is willing to hunt far afield, I think Carlisle and Esme would reluctantly agree to let him stay for awhile, especially if he feels like he's on the run or if he is especially traumatized by his break with the loyalty that has defined him for a long time. His disdain for the Cullens must have eased a great deal in this scenario, so he might find some peace in talking to Carlisle about identity and in commiserating with Jasper about the similarities between their experiences.
It can't last, though. I doubt Demetri will be able to stand the Cullens' lifestyle for long, even if he's warmed up to the Cullens themselves. And it'll be obvious to him how uncomfortable he makes everyone. Also, Edward will be watching his thoughts like a hawk for any sign of treachery, responding to those thoughts left and right. Demetri will grudgingly understand the need, but he's just escaped from a life of having his mind controlled and monitored. He doesn't want to endure that ever again. He'll probably strike out on his own after a few weeks.
If on the other hand Demetri overstays his welcome, the Cullens will decide it's time for another move and remind their new friend that this is a vegetarian home; if he doesn't want to commit that's fine, but they must part as friends and visit another day. This will be accelerated if they're still living near the wolf pack. An influx of red-eyed visitors was one thing when it was about mounting a defense against a specific threat; having a red-eyed boarder who was an enemy six months ago is another thing entirely. And the Cullens have trampled on the law enough; unless war is actually imminent,* they don't want to also be accused of harboring a fugitive. They'll breathe a huge sigh of relief when he's gone.
----
*In this scenario, the Cullens and their allies may want to move much closer together. Demetri will suddenly become a valuable resource. It's possible that many allies, including the Cullens, will want to live in a camp-like arrangement.

Y/n had been feeling unwell for the past few days, but attributed it to stress and brushed it off. Demetri had noticed her lack of energy and pale complexion, but didn't think much of it until one evening when they were out hunting together.
As they were tracking a group of rogue vampires, Y/n suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground. Demetri rushed to her side, his usual calm facade crumbling as he checked her pulse and realized that her blood sugar was dangerously low. "Y/n, love, can you hear me? What's wrong?" Demetri's voice was filled with concern as he gently lifted her up in his arms.
Y/n weakly shook her head, her eyes struggling to stay open. "I-I don't know... I just feel so weak..." Demetri's heart clenched at the sight of his mate in distress. He wasted no time in carrying her back to the castle, where he laid her down on the bed, he left and came back with something to make her blood sugar higher.
As Y/n slowly regained consciousness, she felt a rush of gratitude towards Demetri for his quick response. "Thank you, Demetri... I don't know what I would do without you."
Demetri brushed a strand of hair away from her face, his expression softening. "You don't have to thank me, love. Taking care of you is my top priority." He gave her some sugar to get her blood sugar up (I'm not the most familiar with blood sugar being low so sorry if I made mistakes)
Once Y/n was feeling better, Demetri made sure she was comfortable and rested before sitting down beside her. "I will always be here for you, Y/n. Please never hesitate to tell me if you're not feeling well."
Y/n reached out to grasp his hand, her eyes filled with love and gratitude. "I promise, Demetri." Demetri leaned in to press a tender kiss to her forehead. "And I promise to always protect and care for you, my mate. No matter what."

A dangerous game
Tumblr media
Summary: Jasira, an elemental witch and girlfriend of Jasper as well as the Cullens get invited to Aro anual ball. Things quickly rise in tension, when Aro and Jasira are caught up in a deadly dance discussing their past entanglements. Jasira still full of hate for Aro, because he killed off her brotherhood in the late 1800s is not giving in to the sweet talk the Volturi king is giving her.
This will be a part of my story "Bloody desire - A Jasper Hale love story" on Wattpad and Ao3 (account names in tumblr description). So everyone who is interessted is welcome reading it.
Word count: 2532
Warnings: generally none, slight threatening with weapons, double meanings, dark tension, but nothing crazy
Tumblr media
Again, the monstruous pompousness of the Volterra castle rendered me speechless. Wrapped up in my floor length coat, I trailed behind Heidi. The rest of the Cullens securely walking with Bella and myself in the middle. Aro had invited us all to his annual ball, with the underlying impression of not being able to deny his offer. So, here we were. The guys tucked into neat black suits, a little handkerchief of the color of their mates dress sticking out of the front pocket.
Rosalie wore a long silvery pink dress, that fanned out around her ankles in soft layers. Esme was dressed in a dark royal blue, accentuating her golden eyes with blueish grey eyeliner. Her dress was simple, but had a high slit on her left side, showing of her leg that was glittering with the golden garter and Carlisle initials. Alice dress was a deep forest green off shoulder, that ended knee length in the front to then flow to her ankles on the back. From her ears two delicate sliver chains with pearls on the end were swaying with every turn of her head. Unlike the rest Bella was wrapped in a floor length baby blue dress. A simple cut with an embroidered top that originally had a low plunge neckline. But she forced Alice to sow it higher to not show off too much of her neck. Over her shoulders she wore a thin white woolen vest, tightly wrapped around her to give her at least some warmth in the cold castle hallways.
My ears were decorated with little diamond earrings, a silver garter glittering from my left leg, while my fingers were showing of a few silver rings of mine and Rosalies collection. Sheathed in two black leather sheaths I wore two daggers. Coated with diamond and vampire venom as my main piece of jewelry. I hadn’t fully restocked my wardrobe so, me buying this new revealing dress wasn’t something Jasper would have spent lots of time thinking about. I made sure that I would get dressed alone, not showing anyone what I was about to wear.
With my heels clacking on the stone ground, we arrived at the entrance hall of the big ballroom. Aro was waiting on the side, flanked by Felix and Demetri. As soon as he saw us, he walked over to us, his guards neatly following him. He greeted the Cullens an Bella with a short nod, before focusing all of his attention on me. “It is unusual for you to be this covered up.” His soft voice sent shivers down my spine. The cat like fixation of his eyes trained on my face. Stepping forward I opened my coat turning around to let him take it off.
As soon as my dress was revealed, the Cullens took in a sharp breath, clearly not expecting me to wear something like that. Behind me, I could hear Aro giggle slightly, while Felix hid his laughter behind a cough. Demitri just took on a sharp breath. Letting Aro turn me around, I offered a sly smile, ignoring the second wave of surprise that shuffled through the Cullens. Offering me a cold hand, Aro guided me towards the door. “I see you came armed, my lady.” Not looking at him, but keeping up the stiff interaction, I answered: “Isn’t everyone?”
My comment had Aro break out in another short giggle. “Tongue as sharp as always. Tell me, tigrotta, do you really believe your daggers are more than a piece of jewelry?” I turned my head to look him in his piercing red eyes, that didn’t dare to hide the hunger in them. “Tell me, Aro.” I put a slight stretch to his name, observing the twitch washing over his body. “What happened the last time you underestimated me?” Not hiding my threat, I tilted my head. “I believe we have something called a stalemate. Besides, we still have a truce, do we not?”
“Of course, tigrotta. There was no underlying intent on my part.” He answered dunking his voice in so much sweetness, I was about to throw up. When we reached the edge of the dance floor, I wanted to let go of his hand, but Aro kept it in a hard grasp, causing Jasper to slightly growl behind me. He was quickly shut down by Felix puffing himself up next to me, causing Aro to wave him off annoyed. Hearing the music change from a waltz to a tango, I knew what was about to come. “Offer me a dance, principessa. It has been a long time since the last one.”
Letting him guide me to the middle of the dance floor, I vaguely noticed the other vampires clearing it. Leaving Aro and me alone by ourself. That meant nothing good. It was his way of strategically removing me from any security, but I decided to play along and see what the evening would bring. If shit was about to go down, I had Jasper and Emmett at my side in an instant. Putting on a fake smile I answered his question hanging in the room: “60 years if I am not mistaken.”
A low hum rumbled through Aros chest, when he placed one hand on my lower back, while the other held my right arm rigidly straight. He was quick to guide me over the dance floor not caring to throw another glance at anyone else than me. “60 years and you still sway like a goddess.” He commented, grinning when he saw Jasper fuming behind me. Emmett had his hand casually on his shoulder, but I knew he was holding Jasper back from doing something stupid.
“There are things one does not simply forget.” I dished out another stab. Earning a slight scold from Aro. “One also does not simply walk into a ball armed with deadly weapons.” His hand slowly wandered from my lower back to the place the handles of my daggers rested neatly against my bare skin. He wrapped one hand around a dagger, pulling it out with so much speed and throwing it against a wall, that I was nearly unable to stop it from shattering against the stone. Twirling me around with his left hand, he ripped the other dagger out of his sheath holding it playfully in his hand. The other one still hovering inches away from the wall, purely held by my silent airy grasp.
“Good handywork.” He murmured, taking a deeper look at my weapon. With the twist of my left hand, I let the second dagger flow to it, twirling it loosely through my fingers. “They indeed are.” I answered. Now pulling Aros attention back to me. With the turn of his hand, he rotated me back to him. Chest touching my back. Then he pressed the metal of my dagger against my skin, not daring to put pressure on it. His eyes were now trained on Jasper, who was about to break out from Felix hold. The rest of the Volturi guard silently looming over my family.
But I didn’t react to Aro threatening my life. Rather the opposite. “You are playing a dangerous game, Aro.” I said, still letting his step guide the way of our dance. “You wouldn’t dare.”
Twisting me back to face him, bending me backward with the light pressure of the dagger against my throat while the music came to a sudden height of tension. We had stopped dancing by now, completely focused on each other. Both having a dagger against each throat, the other hands still entangled in a deadly grip.
“Would I not?” He asked coyly.
“The better question would be ‘should I not?’.” I simply answered, not moving my weapon.
He was the first to react after seconds of us staring deeply in each others eyes. Taking the dagger from my throat he pushed it back into its cover, soon followed by mine. Again, we picked up our dance where we had left off. “Still as cold blooded as ever.” He praised me, an honest smile plastering his lips.
“The times where I was easily scarred are long gone.” I hissed, this time not caring to hide my open disliking towards him. He chose to ignore my piercing eyes, still smiling like a cat who just found the fountain of milk springing from her garden. “Like the times you came unarmed to my ball.” He retorted, again, bending me over his knee to then swirl me over his arm. I landed gracefully, slowly stepping around him to the beat of the music. “Like the times where you honored our truce.”
“There are rules I need to hold up. Humans are not meant to know about us.” He snarled. I was getting under his skin. Good. “And yet you fail to end my existence. Why is that, Aro? Are you getting lousy in your executions? Or is it hard to find good participants?”
“Do not anger me, woman.” He whispered against my ear, letting my frame crush a little too hard into his chest, knocking the wind out of my lungs. I just smiled, letting my hands come to a hold around his neck, while he was now indecently grabbing my waist to roughly handle me over the stone floor to the rising beat of the music. “I do not intend to anger you, Aro.” I mewled, grinning like a Cheshire cat. He was obviously seeing through my act, but chose to ignore it, or better, play along with it. “You would make such a good representant for us. That’s why I spared you. You are always welcome to join us.”
Letting out a deep sight, I tilted my head mockingly. “Spared me? You killed my family. My brothers, while keeping up a false diplomatic truce. Then you failed to hunt me down, sending out troops after troops to kill me. And still, I am breathing. You simply cannot admit that you are no match for me. Keeping up the shiny façade of good relations while plotting the next attempt to kill off my loved ones, trying to persuade me to join you. Isn’t that right?”
To my surprise he didn’t correct me. “At least this time you would get to keep your lover. Jasper would be another great asset to the court. Maybe I will take Edward and Alice, too.” Letting his eyes wander over my family he hummed. “Ahh, maybe only Alice. I do not need another telepath. I would rather take the open place to collect Theodore as well. He might not be gifted, but keeping my greatest jewel happy, would make my life a lot easier.” Aro had now completely refrained from hiding behind his well kept, innocent façade. Showing his true colors once again. His eyes were hungrily scanning my body, then wandering over to the Cullens that were now threatened against the wall of the room. Letting my eyes wander I could see a lot of red Volturi eyes looking at the conversation happening in the middle of the room.
I took a deep breath, stopping the dance and taking a step back. “In that case, you should weight your options, Aro.” My voice was sharp. “I do not fear another war rising, as I myself are clearly able to take out a third of your guards. You know I am. I already did that. And if you really dare to attack us, be aware that I have resources and connections to witches who are far older than I am. Older than you.” Taking the step back towards him, I lowered my voice. “And if we are already threatening each other so openly, I might as well ask for your wife, Sulpicia. She I wonderful isn’t she? A sweet gem to hold onto. It would be a shame to lose her, would it?”
“You will not harm her!” Aro growled, cowering down, ready to attack me. I just shrugged. “Who talked about harming her? I was merely wondering how she would react, knowing you would start a war against an innocent witch. Especially if said witch does keep regular contact with her. Isnt that right, Sulpicia?” I called out into the room, not drifting my eyes from Aro. But I could hear the soft clacking of small heels on the ground, showing Sulpicias arrival. Aros eye darted to his wife, visibly showing his confusion. “What is she talking about, cara mia?”
“She is right.” Sulpicias angelic voice was easily shutting down the murmuring in the room. “I have had enough of you starting wars with innocent people. She and her brotherhood did nothing wrong. Quite the opposite they made sure to keep the human population safe from the wrath of mislead vampires. A thing you swore to do as well. So as long, as Jasira and the Cullens do not break any of our rules, they are not to be bothered.”
“Two of them are mated to humans. They are already breaking one of our most important laws!” Aro let out, but was shut down by his wife immediately.
“Jasira is not to be viewed as normal human. She is immortal like us, possesses a gift like us, is sworn to secrecy like us. And as far as I heard, Bella is to be turned. There is nothing unrighteous going on. Don’t ruin this ball with your anger, as I do not wish to be strained like that.” Sulpicias voice was strong yet soft, cradling Aro in her hold.
I could see he was fighting the desire to give in to his wife, but after a few seconds he sighted. “Of course, cara mia. I am sure the Cullens will honor our laws. And since Jasira chose a vampire as her mate, she will as well. Am I right?” He looked at me with sharp eyes. I just bowed my head. “As long as there is no corruption and ambush brewing, I will gladly honor your laws.”
“Well then.”  He put up his softspoken demeanor. “Let us carry on with the ball.” Clapping in his hands he hushed the guest back on the dance floor.

Turning a corner you let out a long sigh. Currently you were walking around the castle just going around in circles indecisive on who you wanted to spend time with and who you wanted to ask for some.. Things.  You had woken up today to your punishment for simply being a woman. Your period. The reason you were walking around and not just lying in bed like you normally would is because this is your first time having your period in a castle full of vampires. Your period was very irregular so even though it had been a few months since your mates had found you, you’ve never bled around them before.
You were nervous to see how they would react to it. You thought about asking Jane for some pads but then you remembered that she doesn’t have a period. And she’s probably never had one in her life to begin with. You thought about asking Felix but you felt that he would just make fun of you or tease you. Which was something you didn’t want to deal with right now. If someone teased you about something you couldn’t control you feel like you’d just snap.
Asking Alec was just a plain no. You knew he’d just stare at you in confusion like what the hell do you mean your bleeding? With Caius you didn’t want to bother him as he was busy with trails right now with the other kings. Plus you’d have a feeling he’d want to paint with it. He has this infatuation with the way dark red blood looks. And you didn’t want him to paint a mural out of your blood for you. Though you're sure it would be gorgeous, he never disappoints you with his paintings.
The only one that was left was Demtri. Your gentleman out of all your mates. Now you would ask him because you know he wouldn’t tease you or ask some weird request once you got what you needed but that still didn’t stop you from avoiding him also.
So when you woke up this morning with the red sea between your legs you rushed to the bathroom and took a shower. Covering yourself in scents you’d only use if it was your last day on earth. Spraying yourself in the most expensive perfume that you could find. God do your mates love to spoil you or what? This one bottle of perfume you knew for a fact was a thousand dollars and yet they still said “It was nothing.” For once you were grateful that your room was on the far side of the castle away from all the other vampires including your mates.
You had picked this room purely based on the views that came with it. Your balcony was facing the ocean side of the castle. You could fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the rocks. And you could watch the horizon where the moon and the sun would meet everyday, each rise and set of the moon and sun was always better than the last. That was what you loved about this castle. And that was what you loved about your wing of it. It was your small piece of the fortress and no one could take that away from you. Your love’s made sure of it.
Taking the silk sheets off your bed you did your best to scrub them clean but of course there was still a stain. You tossed them into the hamper and made a mental note to ask the maid to come get it later for you. You placed new sheets on your bed. You changed your makeshift pad that was made of tissue then you were off to pace the halls to grow some balls.
You wore your robes that matched all the vamps that were with the volturi, hood up and all in attempts to hide your identity.
It didn’t work.
You were convinced that everyone in the castle knew your scent by hard because every vampire that passed, rather they were walking normally or vamping away, they would pause in their tracks and make sure to bow to you. Though it was completely unnecessary, you loved how it made you feel. The power that you hold as just a human brung so much pride to you. The 3 kings and your mates always would tell you to own it and so you did.
You tried hiding in the shadows when you knew that someone was coming. Pushing yourself against the walls, even turning your whole body like you were just put into time out. You knew you looked like a dumbass but that wasn’t the point nor your problem right now. All you knew was that you didn’t want to face any more people than necessary.
Finally after what felt like hours you finally made it to the receptionist desk. You were thankful that she was even there. She was always off doing something she had no business doing. You were surprised that she hadn’t gotten herself killed yet. But today you were grateful for that.
“What can I do to help you?” She asked, putting on a voice that you could tell was supposed to be charming. It was not.
Pulling your hood off she immediately stood from her chair but quickly dropped down to bow.
“My queen, Is there anything I can do to assist you? Master Caius is out feeding with the others. Would you like me to retrieve him?” She asked, speaking softly.
Respect was a big thing with the kings if someone showed you any signs of disrespect you never saw or heard from them again. So it was understandable as to why she switched up so fast.
“No, I was wondering if you had any… You know.. Tampons or pads? Anything honestly.” You said rushing it out. But still trying to keep it low.
“Oh! Don’t you have any of that stuff? They practically treat you like royalty.” She laughed with a roll of her eyes.
That pissed you off. She’s always had a problem with you and you’ve always kept your mouth shut but today that wasn’t how you were feeling.
“Because I am. Now if you don’t like it or respect it I have no problem having this conversion with the kings. I'm sure they would love to hear about this.” You said in a stern voice, sending her a glare. Her eyes widened, you never threatened anyone, you’ve never had to. It was always done for you if it needed to be done.
She got up and quickly left, hoping she went to get you something, anything at this point. You could feel that your makeshift pad is not working.
“Till we hear about what, Amore mio?” You heard behind you making you jump and turn around. When you did you were faced by the three kings themselves. You found yourself sort of stung in place. Your plan was to come get some pads and I don’t know, hide until it all went away? Horrible plan but it worked in your head. This was not a part of your plan.
“Umm nothing I was justt..” You dragged out shifting your eyes between the three.
Aro was staring at you with his wide curious eyes. Marcus looked at you with soft knowing eyes, he always knew when things were wrong with you. And caius looked at you with narrowed eyes.
“Are you hiding something from us?” Caius questioned stepping closer to you. You felt your heart skip a beat. They heard it of course.
“Caius can you go away?” You asked, covering your face with the palm of your hands.
“Why would I go away? Are you trying to run away?!” Cauis yelled out, making you frown.
“Caius..” Marcus sighed out. There was no doubt that Cauis’s biggest fear was you leaving him and him never being able to find you. It broke your heart that he felt he wasn’t truely loveable.
“I swear you're bipolar.” You said taking your hands off your face just in time to see the receptionist with a brown bag in her hand. When you saw this you grabbed it from her and ran as fast as you could.
“I wanna be alone right now! No one bother me, pass the message along!” When you turned your head to see if they were behind you they weren't even there. Seeing this you stopped running and caught your breath leaning on a wall. You swear you need to work out more. Or hell even walk more, but what's the point when you can have Felix carry you everywhere?
Since you were down here on this side of the castle you thought why not stop and get some snacks? So that’s what you did. Big mistake.
Walking into the kitchen you saw Demetri and Felix and immediately turned around hoping that they didn’t see you.
“Bellissima?” Dem said softly, making you turn around.
“Yes?” You said, just as softly.
“Are you alright?” He said, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes of course! Why wouldn’t I be?” You said shifting from side to side slightly cringing.
“What’s that sme-” Before Felix could even finish his sentence you dashed out of that kitchen and you ran. You ran straight to your room and you didn’t stop for anything or anybody. Your one mission was to get to your room and stay there.
Once you got to your room you ran straight to the bathroom and turned the shower on. You didn’t even allow yourself to think about how embarrassingly long it took you to get to this point. You never paid attention to how many people or how many vampires live in this castle until you felt like fresh bait to them. You let yourself relax feeling the hot water hit your back. You allowed it to wash away the mixed emotions you had.
Once you got out you did your normal hygiene routine and you felt better. You felt ready to rot in a ball for the next week. Opening your bathroom door you stopped in your tracks when you saw all of your mates standing in front of you.
“Hi..?” You said after a minute passed and no words were spoken.
“Why are you acting so strange?” Alec was the first to speak.
“How could I have been acting strange? I haven't even seen you today!” You yelled out holding onto your towel tighter.
“Yes you have, you’ve seen us both when you were cowering into the ‘shadows’.” Jane said plainly.
“You walked right past us like you didn’t even know who we were!” Alec yelled.
“Don’t yell at me!” You yelled back at him frowning.
“Why not?! If I don’t yell you might walk right past me again!”
“Just cause I walked past you doesn’t mean you can yell at me!”
“I can do whatever-”
“Where not going to solve this yelling at her!” Dem yelled, cutting Alec off.
“Anyone wanna talk to her and not yell at her?!” He yelled looking at the rest of your mates.
While he eyes weren’t on you you felt your eyes water and you couldn’t stop the tears from rolling down your face. The moment you sniffled you caught everyone's attention.
“You made her cry!” Alec yelled glaring at Demetri.
“I didn’t do a damn thing!” Dem yelled back at Alec.
That started a yelling war between Alec and Dem which only made you cry harder. It was frustrating.
“Can someone tell me what that smell is!” Felix yelled out in his own frustration. As he had been sniffing everything like a damn dog since you’ve seen him.
“It’s me! It’s me okay? I’m fucking bleeding I’m on my period okay?! That’s why I’ve been acting weird all day it’s embarrassing and I needed some pads but I didn’t have any and I knew that none of you did and I didn’t wanna ask so I didn’t and you guess kept popping up in places that you didn’t belong and-”
“You smell good.” Felix said, making you stop immediately.
“What?” You questioned.
“Yeah you smell sweeter but at the same time dull. It’s something I’ve never smelt before. It makes my mouth water.” Felix said, staring at you with slightly darker red eyes.
“I agree.” Cauis said, looking you up and down with greedy eyes.
“She doesn’t smell like that to me, she smells like a softer scent of her normal self.” Dem said now looking at you with a strange expression on his face.
“She smells like something that I can’t explain but it’s pleasant.” Jane said as Alec agreed with her.
“I smell good?” You questioned with your voice cracking slightly.
“You always smell good. Are you seriously telling us that this is the reason that you’ve been avoiding us? That’s a foolish reason.” Cauis said.
“I’ll go gather some stuff you’ll need.” Jane said and before you could say anything of hell even blind she was gone.
“I’ve read a whole book about menstrual cycles before-” Felix started.
“You can read?” Alec scoffed, dodging the book Felix threw at him in reflex.
“We're gonna take good care of you, I promise.” Felix said as he appeared at your side and settled you on your bed softly.
“Master Caius, can you lay down? As much as I don’t like to admit it, you're her favorite to lay on when she’s in pain.” He asked, even though Cauis wanted to respond to Felix's statement he kept his mouth shut for your sake.
Cauis pulled you into him as he laid down and you felt yourself relax immediately. While you felt it they could hear it.
“I’m in my towel this is not a reliable form of protection if you catch my drift?” You said to your mates hinting at the fact that you’d like to get dressed.
“You think I care if you bleed on me Amore mio?” Caius questioned in a dull tone as if it wasn’t a big deal.
“Yes I do.” You said as a matter of fact. This sent your mates into a tumble of laughter. While you looked dumbfounded they just shook their heads.
“Sometimes I think you forget what we are.” Dem said looking at you with a soft smirk on his face.
“We eat your kind for breakfast, lunch and dinner and yet you think we are put off by a little drop of blood. That is foolish.” Cauis said, shaking his head pulling you closer to him.
“Now relax until Jane gets back.” Felix said leaving no room for argument.
With this being said you watched as your mates took their places in your room. Alec sat in a chair that was next to your bed grabbing a book to read. Felix turned on your tv that they had installed and began flipping through the channels. And dem was busy closing all of your curtains so that the room was dark for you. You felt loved by the smallest things that they were doing. Even if it didn’t benefit you, you felt at peace with your loves just in the same place as you.
As you close your eyes Cauis begins stroking your hair sending a small shiver down your spine due to his cold finger tips.
“If you just let us change you you wouldn’t have to go through this pointless pain.” Cauis said, making you shake your head.
“I show one sign of pain and you already wanna kill me.” You said snuggling closer into Caius which he welcomed with open arms.
“You’d be reborn into Una versione migliore di te.” He voiced like it was nothing.
“You know that I haven’t been keeping up with my lessons with Marus!” You yelled hitting caius on his side.
“And whose fault is that?” Alec said casually flipping the page to his book he was reading.
“Not mine actually! Because everytime I try to go to Marcus study, one of you always stops me in my tracks and leads me in a different direction!” You said pointing to each one of your mates. To which none of them could say anything because they knew that it was true.
“See.” You said smiling at the fact that there was no back talk at all.
Some time passed and you had fallen asleep. When you woke up you felt a weight on your stomach looking down you saw that it was Jane. Her head rested on your stomach. The sun had gone completely down and it was now pitch black in your room but you felt no fear in your heart because you knew that you were safe.
When you went to shift your legs you were placed with a reminder of why they were here in the first place. Looking down at your previously white towel you couldn’t help the words that came out of your mouth.
“Fucking hell.” You groaned, rolling your eyes.
“A little free bleeding ain’t never hurt nobody.” Felix said with a smirk that you could just feel in your soul.
“What the fuck.” You said and immediately you heard a few chuckles come from different parts of the room.

Niklaus Scares us Shitless
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
Copyright: I do not own any Twilight characters or locations. I do own Davina Mikelson and Marcel. I also own the backstory for my OC. I do not condone any copying of this.
I just stared for a moment. It had settled back into quiet, everyone watching the two of them cross the field.
Aro let out an exaggerated- in my opinion- gasp upon seeing her.
"Alice." Edward whispered.
"Alice!" Aro gasped.
Alice glanced at us for one long glance before turning her attention to Aro. She was still wearing the same clothes that she had worn when she'd left- so was Jasper- though they looked brand new.
Jasper didn't even look at us, his spine straight with nerves. I wished I could comfort him, comfort both of them. I shifted on my feet uneasily, leaning into Carlisle a little.
And then, a few of the guards were moving, Felix stopping Alice from getting to close to Aro. Two hooded figures moved, their faces hidden and Caius moved to the side.
"My dear, dear Alice, we're so glad to see you here, after all." Aro said joyfully.
"I have evidence the child won't be a risk to our kind." Alice said, trying to talk to Aro while one of the guard kept a hand to her throat.
Carlisle took a few steps forward, away from me. I hesitated, not entirely sure what he was planning. Surely he wouldn't move against them.
"Let me show you." Alice draped her arm over the shoulder of Felix.
"Brother?" Caius said sharply.
Aro held her hand out and Alice shoved past the others. One of them slapped Jasper across the face and I hissed, standing by Carlisle's side now. Carlisle threw his arm out, stopping me from going any further, my eyes seething in rage.
Jasper struggled in the guards arms, Felix turning his back on them. I could feel horror pulsating through my veins. I readied myself, hands with palms down to the snow, ready to sweep vampires off their feet.
Aro took her hand. I felt a strange warmth go through me, blinding me for just a second and I stared around, confused. Everyone else was staring around too, even the witnesses and Volturi. But no one seemed to know the cause behind it- as both sides were equally confused- and nothing happened except turning our attention back to Alice and Aro.
"It doesn't matter what I show you. Even when you see." Alice said angrily, yanking her hand out of Aro's. "You still won't change your decision." Alice turned to face Bella and said, 'Now.'
And then Bella was turned towards Jacob and Jacob lunged past Benjamin and Tia, sprinting away.
"Get them." Caius ordered Santiago.
Alice turned around, doing a ninja flip, sending Aro high into the air.
I gasped, knowing that we had just started war.
Aro landed on his feet as I watched Garrett's eyes widen, Kebi grabbing Amun's arm, and Carlisle's own horrified expression out of the corner of my eye.
Everyone was suddenly lunging forward as Alice went to run, two guards grabbing her.
"Take her away." Aro demanded in a cold voice.
"Let her go!" Carlisle demanded and before I could even comprehend what was happening, he was charging over the snow towards Aro.
I had frozen, watching with wide eyes. What was he doing?
Two black hooded vampires came out to meet him but Carlisle swept them off their feet easily, making way for Alice.
Carlisle lunged for the two that were holding Alice, flying high into the air. Aro clashed with him and then his body fell. Aro's hand- holding Carlisle's head.
A scream ripped from me, worse than I had ever screamed before.
I found myself running now as the torch was being lit. If I could stop the torch from falling on Carlisle's body, I could put him together at the end of this.
I called up a snowstorm as I ran, aware that the others were slowly moving behind me, getting ready to join me. Sam had snarled, his pack moving into motion. The snow storm threw the holder of the torch high into the air, landing on top of some other vampires, effectively setting the rest of them on fire. They started to burn alive.
I grinned, victorious until Caius deftly threw Carlisle's body on top of the pile, his head too.
Pain ripped through my body as I clashed with the first vampire that dared get in my way.
I could see the other people fighting too. I could see Jasper and Rosalie taking down vampires themselves, ripping heads off of the bodies. The wolves clashed in too, tearing into the vampires like they were nothing.
Garrett let out a battle cry as he sent a vampire off his feet.
Leah and Seth worked together as well, taking down another witness vampire.
Edward and Demetri were starting to fight.
Jane turned her power on Jasper, but Bella was there, using her power to block Jane's.
I ripped another head off, biting furiously into the neck like a wolf. I could feel anger consuming my body.
Alec tackled Bella, taking her down so that Jasper was free for Jane's picking.
Jasper cried out in pain, Felix grabbed him, and Demetri ripped his head off.
I growled, leaping for Demetri and we tangled on the ground.
"For what it's worth." Demetri said sympathetically as my hands pressed into his neck and his hands had my own neck in them. "I am sorry about Carlisle."
And in that moment, we let go at the same time, knowing we couldn't kill each other. We both slowly backed away and turned for other targets.
Bella kicked out at Alec, sending him backwards while she fell on her own ass. Emmett was destroying everyone who tested him and turned his attention on Alec, eyes narrowing.
Emmett growled, running for Alec who ran straight at him as well. He took Alec down, pinning him to the icy surface. Emmett pressed his foot into Alec's neck before tugging his body away from his head. Then he threw his body away from his head for Jane to see.
Alice escaped at that moment, pulling another flip move and pulling the arms straight from her captors.
Tanya and Kate worked as a duo, kneeing vampires in the face before ripping their heads off, flinging bodies every which way- Kate electrocuting them too.
I was trying to make my way to Aro. I was going to kill him with my bare hands. I was going to burn him to ashes and paint my face with them in memory of Carlisle. My beautiful Carlisle.
Demetri and Edward were both fighting now and I was really hoping I didn't regret letting Demetri go.
Another vampire flew through the air, Seth colliding with him, ripping his head off in a messy fashion.
And then Jane was standing over him, making him cry and whimper in pain, his legs buckling underneath him.
I snarled, ripping another head off tossing it towards the bonfire that was starting to appear. I ran for Seth before another vampire snuck up behind him, crushing his ribs. Seth let out a whimper, and fell to the ice, dead.
Leah knew immediately, whining as she finished off one of her kills, howling in the air in sorrow.
That did it for me.
I let out a terrible scream before suddenly- I was no longer human. I was a wolf now. I lunged, ripping one of the vampires heads off it's body. And then I lunged for Jane in hatred, sending her flying backwards into the crowd of vampires. I stalked forward, glaring.
All around us, our family was being beaten. Three of them had hands on Bella, Edward was being punched into the ground, Garrett was on his knees.
So, Benjamin did the only thing he thought he could do- He yelled and slammed his fist into the Earth.
A dividing line suddenly opened up in the Earth's crust, causing vampires to fall in. Two of the ones that had been holding Bella fell through and she kicked the last one in. I skittered away, my mind panicking, unsure of how to become human again.
I whined in fear.
Davina.
Sam! Help me! I begged.
It's all right. Just stay calm. Accept it.
I lunged for another vampire, knocking him into the crevice that Benjamin had created. There was lava down below. Instant death upon falling.
It suddenly became the strategy to simply knock them in. Wolves working together to kick them in, before backing away from the edge.
I could suddenly see from the perspective of several wolves. There was Embry, fighting alongside Bree against Felix. Emmett and Rosalie were helping them too, fighting a few other vampires. Quil and Jared were working together. Leah was taking down another vampire. I could feel her sorrow of losing Seth. It was ten times my own.
And then there was Esme. Her and an enemy vampire were clinging to the snowy edge. It seemed he was trying to push her off- even though he was behind her- in hopes that he could get over the edge.
Marcel struggled with three vampires trying to hold him down as he tried to get to Esme. He punched one in the face, the others trying to rip his head off until Bree launched herself at him, detaching the vampires head.
And suddenly, Leah was there, leaping the gap to pull him off of Esme.
NO! my mind shouted and I raced for the crevice, suddenly turning human, trying to grab Leah's fur, her leg, her tail, anything to pull her back up.
I had failed, watching as her somewhat white fur disappeared into the lava. I screamed in despair, while helping Esme over the ridge.
Meanwhile, Edward had nearly fallen down the hole himself before leaping upwards and displacing Demetri's head from his body.
I felt a new type of anger wash over me as Alice started to stalk Jane with the help of Bella. It was a quiet fury as I leapt the crevice, making my way directly for Aro, Caius, Marcus, and the few that stood by their side.
Jane ran as Alice approached her until Alice landed in front of her, cutting her off, grabbing her by the throat and making her kneel. I watched, through my own rage, as Sam approached her stealthily.
Alice dragged Jane to meet Sam where Jane met her end.
I saw Aro shove his hand and Caius went to run for Tanya.
I finally released all the water that I had collected and it swept through the camp as I stood my ground. It picked up every enemy, leaving the wolves and our friends alone. Amun's mouth dropped at my power. Benjamin grinned.
Soon, all of the leftover Volturi were left in a ball of water floating just slightly above the ravine. Their eyes were wide with fright. Caius looked rather angry. I churned the water, letting it rip and tear apart their bodies with fury. I left Caius, Marcus, and Aro alone, leaving them to float in the middle while the water on the outside tore apart the other Volturi and witnesses on the outside.
And then I tilted my head, moving the ball- with a little difficulty- above solid ground and everyone looked at me.
"Vlad?" I asked.
"Yes?" Vlad asked, a grin going over his face.
The water opened up to show narrow channels that Vladimir and Stefan could intercept.
"They're all yours." I said.
Vladimir and Stefan made very quick work of dismantling Aro, Caius, and Marcus, relishing their work.
Soon, all of the Volturi were left in pieces and we scooped all of them up, putting them into the fire.
And then, there was that light in our eyes again and I stumbled, looking around.
Carlisle stood next to me, looking shaken. As did everyone else, including the Volturi.
Our kids were here, Seth and Leah were here, still alive, though they looked rather disturbed like everyone else.
Aro was still standing there, Alice in front of him. He looked the most shaken, probably because he hadn't expected to die.
I finally saw what had happened. Niklaus had used his ability to read minds to see the vision inside Alice's head. Then, he had used Renesmee's method of showing through amplification. That way, we had all seen it.
Without even bothering to see if what had happened would happen anyways, I wrapped my arms around Carlisle tightly. I was shaking and his arms were just as tight around me. "It's okay. I'm right here. And you were. . .amazing just so you know." He whispered in my ear.
Aro stared at us. We stared back at him.
"Now you know." Alice finally broke the silence. "That's your future. Unless you decide on another course."
Jane looked very much like she wanted to interject and say she did want another course. Demetri looked a little abashed as we locked eyes, nodding to me slightly. Now everyone knew that we would both have left each other alone.
"We cannot alter our course. The child still poses a grave threat." Caius interjected and I almost laughed.
He had seen all of that- and yet he still wanted to fight?
"But what if you were sure she could remain concealed from the human world?" Edward interjected. "Could we leave in peace?"
"Of course. But that cannot be known." Caius said.
I wondered if he had a death wish.
"Actually, it can." Edward said as Alice started to walk away.
Three more figures started to walk across the snow. Barefoot, both of them. The male was not wearing a shirt or pants. They were some sort of Indian, and they were certainly dressed like it. The other was dressed more like Senna and Zafrina and I realized this must be the Kachiri that was mentioned every so often.
Kachiri stopped when they reached her sisters, but the other two continued to walk on.
I tried to figure out what they had to do with the child- and then I noticed the male had a strange heartbeat that matched Renesmee's. His eyes were also brown.
"This is Huilen and her nephew, Nahuel." Alice introduced.
"Speak, Huilen. Give us the witness you were brought to bear." Aro commanded.
"I am Huilen. A century and a half ago, I lived with my people, the Mapuche. My sister was Pire. Our parents named her after the snow on the mountains because of her fair skin. And she was very beautiful- too beautiful. She came to me one day in secret and told me of the angel that found her in the woods, that visited her by night. I warned her. As if the bruises on her skin were not warning enough. I knew it was the Libishomen of our legends, but she would not listen. She was bewitched. She told me when she was sure her dark angels' child was growing inside her. I didn't try to discourage her from her plan to run away- I knew even our father and mother would agree that the child must be destroyed, Pire with it. I went with her into the deepest parts of the forest. She searched for her demon angel but found nothing. I cared of her, hunting for her when her strength failed. She ate the animals raw, drinking their blood. I needed no more confirmation of what she carried in her womb. I hoped to save her life before I killed the monster."
"But she loved the child inside her. She called him Nahuel, after the jungle cat, when he grew strong and broke her bones- and loved him still. I could not save her. The child ripped his way free of her, and she died quickly, begging all the while that I would care for her Nahuel. Her dying wish- and I agreed. He bit me, though, when I tried to lift him from her body. I crawled away into the jungle to die. I didn't get far- the pain was too much. But he found me; the newborn child struggled through the underbrush to my side and waited for me. When the pain ended, he was curled against my side, sleeping."
It sounded almost sweet. It also made me wonder if Samuel and Niklaus were venomous.
"I cared for him until he was able to hunt for himself. We hunted the villages around our forest, staying to ourselves. We have never come so far from our home, but Nahuel wished to see the children here."
Huilen bowed her head, moving backwards a little.
Aro's lips were pursed and he stared at Nahuel with curiosity, "Nahuel, you are one hundred and fifty years old?"
"Give or take a decade. We don't keep track." He said. His voice was not as heavily accented as Huilens.
"And you reached maturity at what age?"
"About seven years after my birth, more or less, I was full grown."
"You have not changed since then?"
"Not that I've noticed." Nahuel said.
I would have my children forever.
"And your diet?"
"Mostly blood, but some human food, too. I can survive on either."
"You were able to create an immortal?"
"Yes, but none of the rest can."
There was a shocked murmur, not only between ourselves, but between the Volturi and also their witnesses.
"The rest?" Aro questioned quickly.
"My sisters." Nahuel said with a shrug as though it were normal.
"Perhaps you would tell us the rest of your story, for there seems to be more." Aro said, his curiosity not sated.
I snuggled into Carlisle's arms, "If this does come to a fight, don't leave my side like that."
"I won't." Carlisle swore. "I promise."
"My father came looking for me a few years after my mother's death. He was pleased to find me. He had two daughters, but no sons. He expected me to join him, as my sisters had. He was surprised I was not alone. My sisters are not venomous, but whether that's due to gender or a random chance. . . who knows? I already had my family with Huilen, and I was not interested in making a chance. I see him from time to time. I have a new sister; she reached maturity about ten years back."
"Your father's name?" Caius asked.
"Joham. He considers himself a scientists. He thinks he's creating a new super-race."
Caius turned to Bella, "Your daughter, is she venomous?"
"No." Bella responded.
Caius turned to me and Carlisle next and our arms tightened around each other automatically, "And your children?"
"No." I said firmly even though I truly didn't know the answer.
Caius looked to Aro. Aro wouldn't look at Caius, absorbed in his own thoughts most likely. He stared at Carlisle, and then me. Then Edward and then Bella. Caius literally growled and said, "We take care of the aberrations here, and then follow it south."
"Brother. There appears to be no danger. This is an unusual development, but I see no threat. These half-vampire children are much like us, it appears." Aro conceded.
"They are not all half-vampire." Caius pointed out, his eyes darting to me. I gritted my teeth. We were never going to win.
Aro studied Carlisle and I for a long moment and then said, "There is no danger."
"And this Joham? This immortal so fond of experimentation?" Caius demanded, eyes bulging like he'd thought Aro had gone soft. I wondered if he'd even paid attention to the fact that I let Vlad and Stefan kill him in a little water bubble.
"Perhaps we should speak with him." Aro assented.
"Stop Joham if you will. But leave my sisters be, they are innocent." Nahuel said in a flat voice.
Aro nodded.
"Dear ones. There is no danger here. We will not fight. . . today." Aro said.
Caius was the first to leave, storming away through the crowd. Jane and the others were quick to follow, although Marcus and Aro remained for a moment later. Suddenly, they were all gone with vampiric speed, leaving the field empty of any enemies.
"We have them on the run, now is the time to attack." Vladimir said.
"Not today." Carlisle said, swinging me off my feet to give me the biggest kiss he'd ever given me in public. "I love you so fucking much."
"I love you too." I murmured, kissing him back.
He put me back on my feet and I clapped Vlad on the shoulder, "But it was almost satisfying seeing it play out in the head, no?"
Vlad grinned, "You are one powerful woman, that's for sure."
"You are all fools!" Stefan complained, "The Volturi might be gone, but they will never forget what happened here."
Carlisle just smiled, a few people laughed, and then he pulled me in for another kiss. The two Romanians were gone almost immediately.
I let go of Carlisle, hugging Seth and Leah tightly around their fluffy necks, "I am so glad you two aren't dead." I muttered.
They both nudged me with wet noses. Caroline and Samuel were by their side in an instant, throwing their small arms around them.
I searched out Marcel and Bree before finding Sam who was reigning his pack in so they could go home. He stopped when he saw me and became human. I flung my arms around him, burying my face into the crook of his neck.
"You're alright Davina." Sam said softly.
"What colour was I?" I questioned.
"White. Pure white. White as the snow, maybe whiter." Sam whispered. "There's never been a white wolf like that before." He paused and then added, "Then again, there has never been a pure black wolf before either."
I smirked, "Yin and yang brother."
"Do you think they'll come again?" Sam asked quietly.
"Yes." I said honestly, "But hopefully by that time, there won't even be a pack here and we'll have moved somewhere else. So you won't have to worry about this ever again."
Sam's eyes were sad as he brushed his thumb over my cheek, "I wish I could always protect you."
"I don't think she needs protection." Benjamin said from behind me. "That was some pretty wicked stuff."
I turned away from Sam slightly to grin at Benjamin and Tia. I jerked my chin a little, "What do you know. Amun stayed."
"And he survived." Benjamin pointed out.
I turned back to Sam, kissing his cheek, "I'll come down to the Rez when everything has calmed down, alright?"
He nodded, becoming a wolf once more as the other wolves started to head out.
I turned back to Benjamin. "You know," I said, smirking slightly, "You're pretty cute Ben."
"Oh really?" Ben asked with a grin.
I had long established with Tia that I had no romantic feelings for Ben and was simply teasing him.
"Yeah, but you know what?"
"Hmm?"
"I think you'd look better with yellow eyes."
Ben grinned, "Well, I think we might just give it a try." He pulled Tia to his side and I smiled gently.
"Good." I said. "Maybe everyone here will try and go for some yellow eyes."
"Maybe." Benjamin said, looking around.
Suddenly- everything felt lighter.
I pulled Tia in for a hug, and then Benjamin. "I hope we get to see each other some day. Under better circumstances of course."
"Likewise." Tia said softly.
"Well maybe we can all have one big happy Christmas get together every year." Garrett said, strutting over with Kate on his arm.
"I see you finally got yourself a girl." I quipped.
"She's not British." Garrett pointed out.
I grinned, shaking my head.
I could tell Carlisle was eavesdropping and I did an exaggerated sigh and said, "I so wish Vladimir had stayed. . . so many things I wanted to talk to him about."
Carlisle was there in a flash, arms wrapped around my waist, lips on the side of my neck, "You're horrible, you know that?"
I grinned, leaning into his embrace, "I know."
***
The next day I was down with Sam and the others at the beach. The six new werewolves that had joined were Christian, Clayton, Shaun, Raoul, Colby, and Ian. I was glad for their help yesterday.
But I mostly spent my time with Sam, Jared, Paul, Embry, Quil, Seth, and Leah. What I liked to call 'the original pack'.
I found that I could turn into a werewolf if I desired and that I had quite a bit of control over it. I doubted I would ever turn again.
It was a lazy afternoon. The kids were running on the beach. Seth, Leah, and Quil watched with anxious eyes, but they really only needed to worry about Claire. Caroline, Samuel, and Niklaus didn't fall.
Meanwhile, I rested against Sam peacefully. I probably could've fallen asleep if I wasn't so worried about something magically happening to my kids.
And right on cue, Niklaus turned into a puppy like werewolf. The others heads spun to me.
I shrugged, "He can mimic anyones super power once he touches them. He's been bragging about this one all last night when he found out he could do it."
"What about the other two?" Leah asked with both curiosity and fear. "Will they be able to turn?"
"Maybe when they get older." I said, resting back against Sam. He wrapped an arm around me, his warmth was comforting. His familiarity was relieving.
I thought back to my first day in Forks. Innocently wishing I could be a vampire and werewolf hybrid, becoming friends with the Cullens first before they moved into the 'kid' zone for me. Meeting Carlisle, so determined to hate him because of Karen and yet- we were married with three kids now.
I chuckled and Sam looked down at me. "What?"
"Just thinking." I whispered.
Sam looked back out over the ocean, "Me too."

Yandere Caius X reader
Caius is quite protective and strict when it comes to the reader. That includes, not leaving the castle grounds and only speaking to kings including himself and the guards only.
One morning reader opens their eyes and sees that it’s snowing outside. Readers eyes immediately lights up as she sees the white and cold sky.
And so the reader decided to have a little fun and dresses up for the cold air to play outside in the backyard where the flowers usually go and where Markus usually takes his daily strolls, Caius DID say to stay at the castle grounds.
As she went outside and started playing and making a snowman, Caius on the other hand was furious that the reader might’ve ran off somewhere and was about to have Demitri do a search only to hear the readers soft laugh.
As he goes outside he sees reader making a snowman with a bright smile on her face making Caius calm down and gets distracted from her.
When reader noticed Caius was watching she decided to have a bit of fun and throw a snowball at him, which Caius decided to play readers game and throw one back.
After a while Caius notices that the reader is cold so he brought them back inside and to the kitchen to make them a hot chocolate.
This is just fluff with a dash of protectiveness❤️🤭
You guys are out of control, we all know yandere Caius would lock us up in a tower 😔🤌🏾

Deep within the ancient halls of the Volturi castle, (y/n) found herself ensnared in the web of Caius's possessive and overprotective nature. Ever since she had been discovered as his mate, her life had become a series of intricately woven rules and restrictions that bound her to the castle grounds.
Her every move was under scrutiny, and Caius's strict demeanor ensured that she adhered to his expectations without question. The rules were clear—she was to remain within the castle's walls, her interactions limited to the kings and the guards who patrolled the grounds.
It was a life of isolation, one that (y/n) had grown accustomed to, if not resigned to. Her connection with Caius was undeniable, the mate bond pulsating between them, and she could sense the depths of his possessiveness that knew no bounds. His protectiveness, while suffocating at times, was also a testament to the intensity of his feelings for her.
Days melted into nights within the castle's walls, and (y/n) found herself navigating the elegant chambers with a sense of grace and poise that had become second nature. The castle's grandeur was a stark contrast to the confines of her restricted world, a world where Caius's gaze lingered on her every move, his eyes a blend of adoration and caution.
When she did interact with the other members of the Volturi, (y/n) treaded carefully. Her conversations with Aro and Marcus were measured, her words chosen with precision. She had learned to navigate the complex dynamics of the ruling coven, understanding that her presence in Caius's life meant she had a role to play in their intricate balance.
But there were moments when (y/n) longed for a taste of freedom, a chance to explore the world beyond the castle's walls. She would stand by the towering windows, gazing out at the moonlit landscape, her heart yearning for a life beyond the confines of her gilded cage.
Yet, Caius's presence was a constant reminder of the love and devotion he held for her. He moved through the castle with an air of authority, his gaze never leaving her for too long. His actions, while controlling, were also infused with a tenderness that he reserved only for her. In his arms, she found solace from the constraints of her existence, a reminder that she was cherished and valued.
As the days turned into weeks, (y/n) began to find a delicate balance between her own desires and the expectations that bound her to Caius. The world outside the castle may have remained elusive, but within its walls, her love for him bloomed amidst the thorns of his possessiveness. And while her heart yearned for more, she knew that she was at the center of a love that transcended time and boundaries—a love that was as unyielding as the ancient stones that formed the foundation of their world.
Bundled up in warm attire, (y/n) stepped out into the snowy morning, the chill air tingling against her skin. The grounds of the Volturi castle were blanketed in pristine white, the snow creating a serene landscape that stretched out before her. Her eyes lit up with childlike excitement as she gazed at the glistening world that had transformed overnight.
With every step she took, her boots left a trail of footprints in the snow, evidence of her playful exploration. The cold air felt invigorating against her cheeks, and she couldn't help but let out a laugh as she spun around, her arms outstretched like a bird in flight.
The garden area, usually a burst of color from the blooming flowers, was now a canvas of white. (Y/n) could almost imagine the flowers peering out from beneath the snow, as if waiting for the warmth of spring to awaken them once again.
As she ventured deeper into the garden, she noticed a small bench tucked beneath a tree. The sight brought a fond smile to her lips, knowing that Marcus often sat there during his strolls. She imagined him here, surrounded by the beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, (y/n) moved to the bench and began to shape a snowball with her gloved hands. The cold, powdery snow compacted easily, and soon she had a perfectly round snowball in her grasp. Looking around with a playful grin, she took aim at a nearby tree and let the snowball fly, watching as it hit the trunk with a soft thud.
Her laughter echoed through the air as she continued to throw snowballs, each one finding its mark with unerring accuracy. She was lost in her own world of winter wonder, the joy of the moment washing away the constraints of her usual routines within the castle walls.
Meanwhile Caius paced back and forth, his expression dark and brooding. "(Y/N)," he muttered under his breath, "where in the world have you gone?" His anger boiled within him, his thoughts spiraling into worst-case scenarios. Had she run off? Abandoned him? The very idea gnawed at him like a relentless storm.
Just as he was about to call for Demetri to track her down, a faint sound reached his ears. Laughter. His head snapped toward the courtyard, disbelief warring with relief as he spotted her there, a mischievous grin on her face. The intensity of his emotions, from fury to exasperation, was replaced by a curious mixture of irritation and fondness.
Caius' gaze locked onto her as she gathered a handful of snow, her intent clear in the sparkle of her eyes. Without warning, the snowball whizzed through the air, narrowly missing his shoulder. The audacity! A rare, almost incredulous smile twitched at the corner of his lips.
He brushed the snow from his shoulder, his movements deliberate. The tension that had weighed on him began to unravel. In a swift and fluid motion, he crouched to pick up his own snowball, compacting it in his hand. With a calculated toss, he sent the snowball sailing toward her.
Her startled gasp and the way her eyes widened fueled his determination. He was not one to shy away from a challenge, after all. As the snowball hit her arm, a startled laugh escaped her lips. Caius' heart raced as he watched her reaction, the atmosphere between them shifting palpably.
What started as a playful exchange quickly escalated into a full-fledged snowball fight, each throw accompanied by a burst of laughter and an occasional yelp. The tension that had filled the air earlier was replaced by an electric energy, a connection formed through their shared antics.
Caius' stern facade cracked further with each throw, revealing a side of him rarely seen by anyone else. And as for (Y/N), her eyes sparkled with a mixture of amusement and genuine affection, finding joy in the simple act of playfulness.
Amidst the flurry of snow, their laughter intertwined, forging a bond that transcended the usual formalities. Caius had played her game, and she had matched his intensity. In that moment, they were not the stern leader and the confidante, but two individuals allowing themselves to revel in a carefree moment, where laughter and snowflakes danced in harmony.
As the snowball fight between Caius and (Y/N) continued, a playful spirit seemed to envelop them both. Laughter echoed through the courtyard, and even Caius found himself caught up in the exhilaration of the moment. Yet, amidst the joy, he couldn't help but notice the way (Y/N)'s cheeks had turned a rosy hue, and how she shivered every now and then.
His concern for her well-being surfaced, overriding the playful rivalry that had taken over. Caius stopped in his tracks, mid-throw, and eyed her carefully. "Are you cold?" he asked, his tone uncharacteristically gentle. (Y/N) chuckled, brushing a few snowflakes from her hair.
"Just a little," she admitted, her breath visible in the crisp air.
Without another word, Caius walked over to her and held out his hand. She looked at him, puzzled. "Come," he said, his voice soft yet commanding. "Let's get you warm."
Inside the castle, the contrast between the chilly courtyard and the cozy interior was striking. Caius led (Y/N) to the kitchen, where the warmth from the fireplace enveloped them in a comforting embrace. He motioned for her to sit at the large wooden table while he went about gathering the ingredients.
As he set a pot of milk on the stove to heat, his movements were efficient and precise. Caius rarely engaged in such domestic tasks, but the sight of (Y/N) sitting there, wrapped in her own thoughts, spurred him to act.
Soon, the aroma of cocoa filled the air as he stirred the mixture, the chocolate melting into the milk. He poured the steaming liquid into two mugs, the clinking of porcelain breaking the silence. Sliding a mug in front of her, he met her gaze with an unspoken question.
(Y/N) looked up at him, her eyes softening with gratitude. She wrapped her hands around the mug, savoring the warmth that seeped into her fingers. "Thank you, Caius," she said, her voice a hushed murmur.
He inclined his head, acknowledging her thanks with a nod. For a moment, their eyes held, a connection forming between them that went beyond the snowball fight and the jesting banter.
As they sipped their hot chocolate, the tension that had been present earlier transformed into a different kind of energy—an intimacy forged in the simple act of caring for one another. Caius watched as (Y/N)'s expression softened further, the lines of her face relaxing in the flickering firelight.
In that quiet moment, surrounded by the warmth of the kitchen and the shared understanding between them, Caius and (Y/N) found themselves in a space that was both familiar and yet unexplored—a space where vulnerability and camaraderie intertwined, leaving an indelible mark on their connection.

What if the Humans adopt a child just to see what’s so special about humans and why the Cullens like them so much, not knowing how troublesome a 8 year old can be?
𝖁𝖔𝖑𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖎
strap in because this is going to be one hell of a ride (also I'm assuming asker meant volturi adopt a chaotic human child)
Aro, ever the curious one, cannot even fathom why dear Carlisle cares so much for these... creatures
And it's been like over 3000 years since he was human and he can't really remember much about living
It would also help if it would stop making Marcus be such a miserable slab of stone, and perhaps even Caius could do with a new toy
It just seemed like destiny when an 8 year old child strayed from the feeding group one day, too entertained by chasing a fat tabby cat that had jumped the wall to the garden
Whatever parent or guardian that came with seemingly hadn't noticed - not that they were alive long enough too
And, of course, Felix was the one to deliver the child to Master Aro considering he's the only one with a modium of decorum or respect for life in the castle
Any of the other guards would have eaten you on sight to be honest (they wouldn't in the future but you're just some random human child right now, they don't care about you yet)
Aro takes one look at you're little form, sticky fingers; muddy knees; grazed elbows; a leaf in your hair
Perfect
They're keeping you
easy, right?
wrong
Why is a overexcited yet hysterical human child such a lovable inconvenience, you may ask
well
1) none of them can fully keep track of you're emotions, why are children so confusing???
2) they can't fully keep track of your whereabout either
"HOW ON EARTH DID YOU GET OF THE ROOF YOU HEATHEN CHILD" - Caius probably
3) they know nothing, and I mean nothing, about humans. Expect them to ask the secratery for help next time you're sobbing, only to find out you're hungry because they haven't fed you a proper meal in days thinking you'd forage for it yourself
I swear Marcus is the only one who is knowledgeable, despite how small it is
"the child requires sustinence again" - Jane, fed up of this shit
4) they're used to the traumatic stuff of vampire life, you are not, they don't realise that
poor kid is gonna be so traumatised, by the age of 10 killing someone over cereal seems socially acceptable
At least Caius actually has a soft spot for you, otherwise you'd be dead dead by now
Marcus reads you bedtime stories
Aro wants you to grow up appreciating everything he does, there are many 'daddy/daughter dates' where he takes you to see plays, musicals, concerts, or whatever that he deems suitable
Caius pretends to be impressed with your drawings and fakes excitement at whatever lego monstrosity you've made
Alec shows you the world, taking you around on his days off to Scotland, Brazil, India or wherever you randomly point to on a map
Felix let's you use his cloak as a blanket when he's not using it, you like to play with it and use it for dens and pillow forts (it can also be used as one of those massive fabric parachute tent bubble thingys the class played with in nursery/FS1/kindergarten and hid under (you know what I'm talking about))
Demitri let's you win at hide and seek despite his gift letting him know where you are at all times. He is also not above pretending to play to keep you out the way and quiet for a solid five minutes before you come out giggling saying you won again
Jane will capture butterflies and set them free with you because she knows you love them and you also love to chase them
The queen's are always dressing you up like a doll and doing your hair, they basically get a list from the secratery of everything humans need (food, water, socialising etc) and fulfil those needs for you
The secratery is the only one who actually knows what you want and need most times, being human herself. The kings are seriously considering turning her instead of just killing her you your sake
And God forbid anyone touches their precious baby, you've grown on them and they'd burn the world for you in an instant
