This entire bs wouldnt be a problem if people weren't assumed Christian/muslim/hindu/...etc at birth and were allows to declare whatever deit or holydays they needed.
it's so wild when people complain about religious inclusion like "oh so you think THEY should get special privileges/accommodations to do x, y, or z??"
and the things they're talking about are like. exceptions to rules or norms that in themselves shouldn't exist. yes Richard, we actually should have diverse meal options at work events to accommodate people with different diets. yes, people should be allowed to take time off to be with their family during whatever holidays or life events they so choose. yes, people should be able to wear clothing that makes them comfortable. nobody should be happy about these restrictions existing. stop bitching about the singular jewish or muslim person in your workplace and realize that everyone deserves better.

The Ketogenic diet is when your body uses your fat stores for energy instead of glucose, putting your body into ketosis.
Typically, our body’s primary source is carbohydrates and then fats, in that order. However, you can skip carbohydrates and use fats for energy by using the Keto diet.
The Ketogenic diet works by forcing our body to enter ketosis. The ketotic state is when the magic happens.
To enter ketosis, you have to cut off or limit your intake of carbs by less than 50 grams a day.
When you deprive your body of carbohydrates, you run out of glucose, so your body switches to your fat stores for energy.
As you move around, walk, talk, eat, you are using energy. Therefore, you lose fat.

I learned of the Keto diet from watching a documentary called The Magic Pill. The documentary claims that it can heal some forms of cancer, Diabetes, and slew of other diseases.
There was also a great controversy involving a doctor who turned the food pyramid upside down and recommended a mother to wean her baby to a low-carb, high-fat food.
A nutritionist reported this to HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa). Resulting in the top medical boards to take Tim Noakes to a hearing for misconduct.
Long story short, he was cleared of wrongdoing, and subsequent appeal by HPCSA was denied.
I’m not going to give my opinion on the matter, but it’s up to you to watch the documentary and decide which is right.
