Do y’all remember that episode of Teen Titans where Starfire goes to the future and sees the team has drifted apart? I rewatched the episode recently and it’s kind of amusing that in this horrifying possible future of the team:

* Cyborg is obsolete

* Beast Boy is a pathetic, broken man who humiliates himself for the public

* Raven lost her mind

* Robin…is now Nightwing

I feel like Robin really lucked out here.

My favourite thing about The Penguin (2024) is that they will make you like Oz, like he'll be having slushees with Vic, or giving him advice and ensuring nobody disrespects him - hell, even the way Oz treats the people around him like the working girls and all that, or his mother. He is so caring, and you start to genuinely like him and think he's just misunderstood...

And then he'll just kill someone without a thought. Or he'll push Vic into a hole with dead bodies, or he'll leave Sofia behind two minutes after asking for her trust. He's so complicated and self-serving, but there's lines that he draws that I can't really define. That's what a villain is; completely unpredictable. And I love how well this show is doing that with him.

Not excited to see yet another attempt at using the Robins we haven’t seen much of in productions to tell what’s basically an Elseworlds.

I want movies or shows about their comics, as much as I love new things I want to see some of what’s already existing adapted. I don’t want Jason and Dick to be about the same age and facing the world together in a show, I’d rather seeing their relationship when Jason was Robin and Dick is Nightwing. Why is every other Robin included project making them all the same age and squishing them together long before they meet Bruce?
