my semester is over and also i found a tasteful selection of monster high dolls at goodwill <3 four of em! and one of those dc superhero girls only because it’s poison ivy and i like poison ivy a lot <3 anyway. $5 !!!

Shriek Wrecked – Nautical Ghouls Dayna Treasura Jones Doll (2016)

I was kind of dreading this repaint because Dayna Treasura Jones is such an esoteric concept for a doll that I didn't really know how I would have approached her base doll. I did play around with the idea of using a Cedar Wood's body and having her be either a ships figure head come to life or she's the literal treasure chest, but when I was doing my G2 customs I was using the base dolls so I figured I would use hers too.

Since she's vaguely treasure and star themed, I decided to make her more treasure like. I hated how the gold skin looked with the blonde hair, so I used silver synatra from @customdollhairAU to add some contrast while keeping the metallic nature of her concept.

I also painted her eyes to be faceted gemstones, and omitted the stars on her face as the sculpted constellations clashed with them.

I went with a monochromatic dark look for her since she's such a saturated and bright colour scheme for me.

Probably not in my list of favourite characters but she's more my taste.

☆ Monster High generation 2 dolls that I actually like ☆

I like all monster high generations But g2 is my least favourite. I like g2 movies,animation style (the animation in this gen was so good idk why but i love it) but I hate almost all of g2 dolls. But there's some g2 dolls that I actually like and I would be so glad if had them. So this is a list of my favourite monster high g2 dolls.

1. Basic Moanica D'Kay

Moanica is a villain in g2 but she has the best basic design. I like her face mold it's so unique for g2. Everything here feels right (except for the shoes that doesn't have any detail and that hurts me inside).

2. Zomby Gaga

This one is obvious. Zomby Gaga is a collector doll made in collab with Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. It's literally Lady Gaga as a monster high zombie and i'm here for it.

3. Party Ghouls Rochelle Goyle

That one might be controversial But I really like this design. I like the colours,hair, the bag is so cute,idk i just really like this doll.

4. Garden Ghouls Torelei Stripe

This also might be kinda controversial. The doll is weird But she just have something i can't describe that made me love it. It kinda reminds me of g1 Freaky Fusion Cleolei (Cleo and Torelei fusion).

5. Howling Hoodies ( unfortunetly unreleased)

Unfortunetly this dolls series wasnt released. I found these dolls and their hoodies so cute especially Draculaura one.

5. Dayna Treasura Jones

I like this doll's dress. Really. The hair and skin colour reminds me of Applejack from My Little Pony. Idk i just like it. This one doll series doesn't have lore so we don't know much about this girl but I think she's pretty.

6. Shriek Wrecked: Nautical Ghouls

This is my absolutely favourite g2 series ever and you can't change my mind. I love everything about it.

gen 2 characters that deserve a shot in g3: The Lady Dayna Treasura Jones Chablis O'Hara Davenport Michaels

Thinking about it now MH G3 is a great opportunity to refresh some of those G2 ghouls. I genuinely really like Silvi Timberwolf, Treesa Thornwillow, and Dayna Treasura Jones but they didn't get the chance to shine and only got like 1 doll in outfits that ranged from okay to mid.
