As someone who knew nothing about Harris Reed before this collab, I not only enjoy the doll but like that it introduced me to an artist I wasn’t familiar with. I know for some people they said that they didn’t feel like a Monster High doll, but I don’t feel that way personally. To me they’re exactly what I want to see out of a collab for MH and I like that MH as a whole is venturing out and testing the waters for different things instead of always just sticking to the basic formulas they know 100% work. Anyway, I think this doll is absolutely gorgeous, I love the Victorian vamp with a twist vibe they have, especially that huge halo!

I’m not a My Scene collector by any means so I never really post about them, but I have to say I really like this collection! Between these, Monster High and Bratz being on shelves again, I really feel like my childhood has come back in full swing 😅🩷

PSA regarding Fang Vote Jinafire: check your Mattel Creations order history and see if she’s still there, if she isn’t and you know for a fact that you ordered her, email Mattel support. Several people have had their order for her disappear from their order history despite the payment being taken, myself included. It very well could be a glitch, but it doesn’t hurt to check and ensure she’s coming.

Last week I got this Petite Holiday Princess (1998) doll by Mattel from the thrift store. She was new in box and they only wanted $3 for her which I considered a steal since she had her original $14.99 tag on her box still! I’m not usually a Disney doll collector, but something about her just really caught my eye. She’s my favorite princess and the amount of detail she had when she was so small was just super eye catching and I couldn’t pass her up. She has a spot to hang her as a Christmas ornament on her back and little jingle bells attached to the bottom of her dress. She also came with a miniature saddle stand and her knees are jointed, a pleasant surprise given how tiny she is! ❄️👑

I genuinely do not understand the defense of poly, like yes I understand why it’s used and you could tell me 1000 different reasons why it is, but that doesn’t change the fact it sucks as a fiber. Coming from someone who does have poly dolls that I enjoy.
