If your muse suddenly grew wings, what would they look like? (i.e: feathered and bird-like, leathery bat-like wings, insect-like, ect...)

(Fairy wings the shape and color of fallen Autumn leaves, the kind that are just starting to turn! They'd still be that deep, vibrant Fall-red around where the wings connect to her body, bleeding into that crumbly-looking brown color the closer you get to the wingtips and with a reddish-brown outline and leaf veins... You also wouldn't be able to see through the membranes. When they move, they'd probably shed bits of dusty leaf residue, instead of the standard sparkly fairy-dust.

River is pretty heavy due to having a bit more muscle-mass, so the wings would likely be too delicate to support actual flight for her; but she'd be able to use them to glide, and would be able to hover off the ground for a little bit if she put the effort into it. They'd also be able to give her a 'boost' in speed when running after her targets in order to close the gap a little quicker, she'd definitely keep them hidden and whip them out for a 'surprise-attack'!)

I for sure have different opinions about characters in 2024 than i did in whatever the other years were. Espec Aramis. I was gonna write a big post but actually all I really mean is I like him. I got a bit into negative against Aramis things last time around, I intend to keep on liking him this time. this time around i am watching for pure hedonism to enjoy the characters doing fun fighty things and then I will read many fanfictions,

Ascension Guns Aimed

STAR WARS EPISODE I: The Phantom Menace 01:55:00

This is another scene that's tricky to make heads or tails of. The Security S-5 blaster which is referred to as an ascension gun in the film seems to have the grappling dart inserted into the small silver barrel beneath the muzzle in this scene.

But in the diagram in the Expanded Visual Dictionary, it indicates the grappling hook is on the far side, and in the Palace Guard’s diagram it shows a grappling dart loaded into the far side of the blaster (identified as the liquid cable shooter).

Then when the Queen and her men scale up the side of the palace, you can see that the cable is clearly shot from the center of the blaster, where the shorter silver barrel is located.

Furthermore, this card from the Star Wars: Destiny - Spirit of Rebellion set shows the cable shooting out from the lower barrel, while the 3D rendering from the New Essential Guide to Weapons shows the grappling dart on the side of the blaster.

And these photos, found on http://yourprops.com shows the side peg where the dart is shown in the previous images, along with the dart being loaded into the lower barrel. Maybe the dart is stored on the side until needed, at which time it's loaded into the lower barrel?

Once Dagny finally grew out of the colic-y baby stage things did get a little easier, but toddlerhood brought its own set of 'challenges' as it were. Once they arrived in Gotham, River didn't immediately return to assassination, instead using the funds she'd pilfered from the family coffers to stay afloat and just try to settle. But 'settling' at that time meant rarely leaving the small apartment River rented unless necessary, partly to make absolutely sure that none of her family members had followed them there and partly due to the fact that she felt intensely nervous about how vulnerable Dagny was.

But the money wouldn't last forever. River and Jamey had also promised each other that they would give their daughter everything River didn't have as a child, which meant schooling; and so Dagny's first experience with kids her age was when she started Preschool. It was very difficult and jarring for her, given that her mom was, quite literally, the only real form of social interaction that she had at that point. 'Goodbyes' in the morning were tear-filled, and for the longest while she would refuse to participate or even interact with the teacher and other children.

Thankfully she's 'mostly' grown out of it. Dagny still prefers to hang around her mother and her friends, but is far more willing to play with another kid, usually if they ask first.

Nothing will ever top dino nuggets in Dagny's eyes, but a good extra-thick, extra-cheesy grilled cheese sandwich comes pretty close: Especially when paired with a bowl of tomato-basil soup on the side! She also likes it when there's tomatoes cooked into the grilled cheese sandwich, as well.

The only thing that sucks? Not all dine-out establishments will include the soup, so sometimes she needs to settle for tossing a less-superior canned variant into the microwave when River brings home dinner.

After River purchased Sausage for Dagny, it was pretty clear to her that 'weird-looking' toys were probably going to be a bit of a thing for her daughter... So, she made it a side-mission of hers to keep an eye out for anything Dagny might enjoy. Half to please her daughter of course, and half in a hopeful bid to find a replacement for Sausage whenever her child asked to sleep in the same bed. Much to her shock though, Gotham is surprisingly lacking in the odd toys department.

That is, until one fateful day when River brought Dagny to an amusement park on an outing, and she pointed out this little number. One muscle frog plush, worth an arm and a leg's worth in tickets; all they had to do was play enough games and win enough of them. Was it a pain in the ass? Extremely, those carny bastards love to cheat after all! Did River manage to do it? You bet your buttons she did.

This little guy is lovingly dubbed Beefcake.
