Dani wasn't unfamiliar with lovebirds that couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other, that were all giggles and inside jokes, and smiles so large she was sure their jaws hurt afterward. She'd learned not to let it bother her too much, after all, she was in the business of love, selling the fairytale, and couples like this who were already so deeply in it, were oftentimes easier to work with because they were just so excited to get everything together that they usually jumped at her first or second suggestions. When they'd brought in the groom's best man, she wasn't surprised by that either. To some's surprise, couple's liked an outside perspective. What did surprise her, however, was just how cynical to the whole thing the man seemed to be. Cynical enough to match her own true beliefs on the idea of marriage that she kept hidden from her clients.

The brunette had to bring her hand to her mouth to hide the smirk that curled the corners of her lips at his mini outburst. While it might have bothered some, it amused Dani. As he slouched, he looked ever the teenager love had seemed to turn the couple into, although he was the petulant one, stuck somewhere he clearly didn't want to be. Dani chuckled softly at his words, an eyebrow quirking slightly. "Oh? Don't tell me you don't believe in the magic of true love?" she teased, intrigued to hear his answer before considering telling him her own real thoughts on the subject.

Rylan quelled the immense urge to roll his eyes. As much he had protested, he couldn't get out of this. He eyed the giddy couple to his left and bit his inner cheek to prevent himself from letting out an exasperated sigh. The wedding planner in front of them was explaining about place setting... wait no, it's guests placement or was it about the menu? Rylan had switched off midway. He was here as a favour - Rylan, you're a great decision maker! We need your eyes to see things objectively. At times he wondered why he even agreed.

He was getting irate by the minute as his best friend and his fiancee giggled and pawed at one another beneath the table - obviously not paying attention to the poor woman in front of them. Finally he had enough. "Hey," he interjected, snapping his fingers at Theo and Fiona and rapping on the table with his other hand to catch their attention. It worked. "Focus and keep your hands off each other for fuck's sake." Rylan wasn't one to mince his words even if they were in front of strangers. Then again, he had known the couple all his life and met Dani several times now. Teenagers - they were well into their 30s though. He shot Dani a shrug. When Theo and Fiona made some excuse to retrieve something from the car, Rylan knew it's going to be a good half hour gone. He sighed, crossing his arms and slouched further into his seat. "I don't know how you do this for a living," Rylan remarked, eyeing Dani. "For all I know, either of them is going to come to me, crying why they never did a prenup because honeymoon phase is over."

say it with me, people are allowed to like and dislike a ship or something within a fandom.

all of these back n forth posts i’ve seen need to get out of the tag. last i was aware, this was supposed to be a website/app that allowed creativity to flow, not for some ‘ship wars’ to be hashed out.

if you got an issue with someone, take it to dms, or better yet, block their blog so you don’t have to see the media they post. but take it anywhere other than where people wanna go find some positive stuff on media they enjoy.

i love love love the quarry, that games become my top tier because of the characters and the designs and everything about it, fandom shipping is a little part in it. however, i can enjoy the quarry while not giving a fuck who kisses who. kaitlyn can kiss ryan and dylan can kiss ryan yall, it’s 2024, it is fine to kiss who ya want.

here’s the thing, personally? i’m not majorly into rylan “but dani, you post art all the time!” i do. i do that so people can still enjoy positive media in a supposedly positive place, that doesn’t feel like the case these days. my blog is nothing if not a positive place for people to come and submit art reqs, no matter how much i typically don’t enjoy the ship. i’ll do it, so i can provide positive media for my favorite game.

Tyler Tumminia has been named the interim commissioner of the National Women’s Hockey League, replacing the league’s founder, Dani Rylan Kearney.

The N.W.H.L. confirmed the change on Monday and announced that it was switching its operational model to an unincorporated association with a six-person board of governors to ensure “alignment of interests between the league and its teams.”

Under the previous system, the six-team league was owned by a group of investors that also controlled four of the league’s clubs, in the New York metropolitan area, Connecticut, Minnesota and Buffalo. Although the league sought independent owners for all six franchises, only two teams are independently owned — the Boston Pride and the Toronto Six, an expansion club for the 2020-21 season.
