It APPEARS that David is telling us, the fans, that OFMD is "available", and that Netflix is the streaming service to woo. Now, does that mean it's just being bought and streamed? Or perhaps being picked up by a Season 3? There has been some discussion that Netflix sometimes likes to stream a cancelled show before they greenlight another season-- and well, who knows, maybe that's what OFMD is in line for!

I love Damien Gerard's post. I don't mind the cut. There's enough else in the story for us to still get it.

HEY GUYS WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS???

This line "You're making my son soft" Is doing so much fucking heavy lifting and they just CUT IT???? Ed's mom was the one person we're shown in season one as Ed having loved before Stede and his dad hurt her because she was making him soft and then Izzy goes and hurts Stede because he's making Ed soft. Ed goes hard in the Kraken Era at least partially because his softness and vulnerability has only ever gotten him and the people he loves hurt and being the Kraken has kept him safe but is an intolerable state of being so at the end of Season 1 he kills the softness and there's none of him fucking left by the beginning of season 2. This is so much fucking set up for Ed's whole mindset and why he feels so much like he needs to be the worst version of himself and they just.... got RID OF IT????

Thinking again about how Damien Gerard once mentioned there was a cut line in the flashbacks where Ed's dad yells at his mom for making his son soft.

From a young age Ed learned that being seen as soft puts himself and the people around him in immediate physical danger. It could have gotten him or his mother killed if his dad was in a bad enough mood about it.

That was only reinforced when he became a pirate and joined Hornigold's ship. Another place where being soft could put him in immediate physical danger, even killed. Even when he became captain of his own ship, crews are known to mutiny on captains they perceive as soft or weak.

His entire life he's had to police his own behavior because he'd never been in an environment where acting soft wasn't an actual threat to his safety. Honestly, early on that was probably part of the appeal of Izzy. He could outsource some of the policing of his behavior to Izzy and Ed didn't see him as an actual physical threat. Izzy was too invested in the Blackbeard persona for that.

There was a point that he probably could have let his guard down a bit, allowed himself some softness. He was the legendary Blackbeard, wildly successful, people surrendered at the sight of his flag. His crew had to know they had a good thing going and wouldn't have questioned it as long as they were still successfully pirating. But how would he know that? He'd never lived in an environment where that was a safe thing to do. And if he ever worked up the nerve to try, there was Izzy pushing him back in line. So it just kept validating to him that it wasn't safe to be soft. And that was killing him.

Then he meets Stede. He touches a piece of fabric to his face and Stede responds by excitedly showing him all his other neat stuff. Ed pretty much immediately starts opening up and wanting to play. Makes me sad honestly. He was so desperate for it and just needed even the tiniest bit of encouragement and support. The tiniest reassurance that it was safe. And he'd never had that before.

== Love Notes ==

Well Lovelies, we're coming to the end of the year here. As I write this, it's New Year's Eve. I ended up being really sick for several days so I couldn't finish these on time (so sorry for the jump scare, I legit thought I'd be gone for a long while after two docs told me what they thought it was-- but luckily, no surgery for me). I'll try to be getting the last couple of the year out tomorrow if I can <3 I did want to mention, I know the David Jenkins fanfic/OFMD Christmas special is causing a bit of contention out there. Some folks are worried it's S3, and are either upset because it doesn't meet what they were expecting so far, or worried that because it's there, we're not getting an s3 at all. These are all valid concerns! For me, I like to think of what David's doing as a little gift to keep our hope alive. Whatever reason-- whatever comes of it, David cares so much about us that he's keeping us all engaged this late into the year. How many creators can we say do that for their fandom (let alone with a newborn)? Did you feel that same tingly feeling I did as we got more and more updates? It felt like watching an episode of OFMD again, for the first time, not knowing where it was going. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions, and as usual David is perfect with timing of specific revelations for maximum affect. We get to interact with him and all of our crewmates in the wee hours of 2024, and feel that same love and excitement that brought us together in the first place-- and I really do think that's such a wonderful gift. Seeing so many folks get excited, and brains firing off a mile a minute on new meta and new headcanons has been wonderful to watch. Whatever happens, whatever comes of it, we are getting to feel that unexpected excitement again. That little flutter of uncertainty-- that spark of joy and hope. So don't despair okay? Whatever happens, we still have our S1, and S2, and we still have each other-- and if we get an s3 out of all this too-- great! Whatever happens, we still have this insanely talented, and kind, and breathtakingly creative crew, and I am so very grateful for each and every one of you. OFMD changed my life for the better. You all changed my life for the better. You all changed SO MANY lives for the better, just by being you and sharing your love of this brilliant show. OFMD is the gift that keeps on giving, and I'm grateful David's trying to give us a bit more to play with for now, to do with as we will. Happy Holidays Lovelies and Happy New Year. May you get the rest and love you deserve, and all the things you desire this year.

Geneva chuckled lowly, an expression mirroring reassurance settling onto her face as she did so. "I know," She murmured to Jacen, planting another kiss on his lips afterwards. The hybrid nymph felt his own emotions and knew that the Alpha more than enjoyed her scent. As she also knew the exact location of the scent that he discussed, more than aware that it wasn't the new soap smell that she wore that he liked. "We'll be home soon, in our bed, and you can enjoy it then, all you want." She promised while the pad of her thumb swiped affectionately at the swell of Jacen's cheekbone. Eva joined Damien in laughter, a light chuckle passing her lips at his own comment. "If we start here, I don't think we'd ever leave. And I'd like to have something to eat before we do." She replied as her attention shifted to the other noble, her gaze meeting Damien's familiar set of dark eyes before she returned his kiss. "I missed you too," She confessed honestly as warm palms settled over her backside, once more. The hybrid knew that she was in for a long night. But those were her favorite with Damien and Jacen. Geneva laughed again when Jacen shared that the person he attended the mutual bachelorette party with began to strip. "And how was that?" She asked curiously. After all, there weren't many brave souls that stripped at a karaoke bar. "Did you want a blood bag too?" She asked Jacen before her eyes flickered shut at the feel of his palm caressing her thigh. Geneva sighed softly and bit her lip, more than ready to say goodbye to Roxy and join Jacen and Damien back home. Or else, she'd forget about not giving the brothel's crowd a new show for the night. "Yeah, you're starving." She replied, meaning Jacen as she agreed with Damien. "Can you make sure to get your favorite blood-type, please, Tesoro?" She asked before leaving with Damien to bid Roxy goodbye after another kiss.

"You're always thinking several steps ahead, aren't you?" She asked Damien, glancing up at him while they made their way through the brothel in search of Roxy. "I was about to ask if you were hungry. I wanted to make sure that everyone eats and is nourished. And there you are, already planning to eat when we get home." Geneva said with a fond smile. "She has to be with Evren," The hybrid shared, brows lowering in thought as she focused on Roxy. Specifically, her best friend's emotions to locate her. "Ooh," At the feel of Damien's body against hers and his lips on Geneva's own, she released a noise. "Don't distract me," She chased her words with another kiss. Clearly, not meaning the light chide. "Trust me, I can't wait to have you take this dress off of me. Just please, do not tear or destroy it. I really like this design." She chuckled lowly, feeling the sensuality in Damien's words when he spoke of dessert. Along with his meaning. "I have room for dessert. You're one of my favorites," Just as she zeroed in on Roxy's location, Damien pointed her out. Geneva tilted her head towards the portals as she waved to Roxy before the hybrid duchess slipped away into a private room. "She caught the memo. We'll see each other tomorrow for brunch," Geneva shared to Damien with a nod. "Now, My Love, let's all go home. I have a feeling it'll be an all-nighter again."

Jacen reluctantly pulled his lips away from kissing along her neck when she mentioned soap. “Humming Bird, you know that I’m not talking about that soap. “If I start chasing that heavenly scent, we’d be here a while, giving everyone a show.” Damien laughed. “I’m enjoying the show right now so if we turned it up a notch, I wouldn’t be mad. He’s over there feigning.” Jacen rolled his eyes, bringing Geneva in for another kiss. “I missed you,” he said against her lips, his hands massaging her ass as she spoke. “I bet that really made the party for him. I know the highlight of my night is seeing you.” Damien nodded when she asked if they were ready to go. “I’m set, J what about you?” Jacen nodded too. “Yeah, I’m good. I don’t have anywhere else to be. The night was good. I dropped by the other party, and the person I went with started stripping. No one told me there were strippers at karaoke, but I’m not complaining. Then we made our way over here, and I’m sure he’s off busy doing something or someone. So I’m good to go. I’m definitely ready to head home since my bed is calling us and I’m a man of very thin restraint right now.” His hand moved to Geneva’s thigh, roaming up and down the soft skin there, tempting but not daring to slide further up her dress. 

“Yeah, I made my rounds earlier. So I’m good you’re not taking me away from anyone.” After Jacen had answered that he was ready too, Damien said, “Alright, it’s a plan then. J you get both of you some blood bags. I’ll go with Bunny to speak with Rox, and we’ll meet back at the portal to head to your place? I’ll grab a sandwich at your place, so we’re all fueled and ready to enjoy the night,” Damien said, taking charge of the order of operations. Jacen gave Geneva another kiss before he released his hold on her and Damien took her hand in his. “You know where Rox is?” He asked as he stood, pulling her close for a soft kiss before he scanned the crowd. “I can’t wait to get to the palace and get you out of that dress. We might end up fueling up sans clothes. Save some room for your favorite dessert too,” he told her, and he knew she knew he meant he wanted her to feed from him too.” When he looked back out into the crowd he spotted the hybrid they were looking for. “Looks like we were just about to miss her. She seems to be headed toward the private rooms.” But he waved her way and got her attention.

Queen Bee-atch II (Regina George x Reader)

"Class isn't over yet, I haven't dismissed you!" The teacher's demands fall on deaf ears as the students pack up before the lunch bell rings, eager to see their friends. Your first three classes were relatively uneventful, the only entertaining thing being this ginger girl you've never seen before attempting to leave class without permission. Your eyes scan the hallways after you exit the classroom. Janis and Damien are the only people you can tolerate at this school, so they're the only people you ever seek out. There they are.

You make your way through the crowded hallway and purposefully shoulder-bump your target.

"What is wrong with you- oh you asshole!" Janis curses lightheartedly. She pulls you into a hug and kisses your forehead while you stand awkwardly with your hands at your sides. Instead of waiting for his turn, Damien joins in and wraps his arms around you and Janis. "I missed you guys so much!" You manage to get out while still in the bone crushing hug. "Where were you this whole summer? You went completely, like, radio silent." Damien asks with a suspicious look in his eyes. "Sorry, I got grounded for the whole summer. My mom found my cigarette stash." You confessed. "Idiot. Anyways, did you see that new girl?" Janis switches topics and Damien chimes in, "Yeah she's, like, a total disaster. We need to save her." Their words are background noise to you. You're staring through Janis, zoned out. Damien and Janis give each other a look.

"Hey what the hell!" You whine as you rub your forehead. "You weren't with us man, your eyes were drifting apart from each other and everything. Pretty sure I saw a bit of drool dribble out-" you lightly punch Janis before she can continue. "Yeah I was! You were saying something about that new girl. I think her name was 'Caddy' or something.", you defend. "She's a disaster, we should probably help her." Damien stares at you. "Babe, I just said that." Janis stares between you guys before interrupting. "Anyways...let's go look for her!"

Janis and Damien were your best, and only, friends. You wouldn't know what to do without them. As such, you basically stuck to them whenever you could in school. Following them to the cafeteria, you take your seats at your designated table. You spot female Ed Sheeran standing awkwardly in the middle of the cafeteria. She looks so stupid.

"Hey guys should we call her over?" You ask your friends. They stop their conversation and look at where you're pointing. Janis nods and yells out, "Hey ginger! What did you say her name was? Was it Caddy? Caddy!" The girl turns and points at herself, mouthing out a 'me?'. She comes over after we confirm and we all introduce ourselves. "...and that's Damien, he's almost too gay to function." Janis concludes. "So Cady, what do you think of the school so far?" You question. "Oh, I don't really know, I used to be homeschooled so I don't have much to compare it to." Cady replies.

You, Janis, and Damien all look at each other and back at her.

She raises an eyebrow.

You all begin going on about what to know about the high school: The best hiding places, teachers to avoid pissing off and such, and the various cliques in this school. "...and those are the sexually active band geeks. Don't walk too close, lest you get dragged into their never-ending orgy." You finish. Cady glances behind her and asks "What about them? They're kind of pretty." You all turn to see who she's looking at. "Oh honey, no no no, those are the plastics..." Damien goes on his little cautionary rant about how evil they are. You looked towards Cady and smiled while rolling your eyes.

While you're both giggling, your eyes lock onto Regina's...who is currently approaching your table. Perfect. "Hey, Gerard," Damien gives you a confused look at the name, "Who's this girl with you? Why don't I know you?"

You zone out looking at her when she turns away from you, gushing over Cady. You wish her attention was on you. Wait what- You're taken out of your reverie as Cady gets up and follows behind Regina towards her group. "Finally back to the present? What is up with you dude you've been out of it this whole day!" You shrug your shoulders at Janis and turn your gaze back to Regina. What's so great about 'Caddy' that caught the attention of Regina? You could look just as helpless if you wanted to, but you won't! Not on purpose anyways.

You get up.

"I'm going to the bathroom"

Janis replies while looking towards the plastics, "We'd come with, but we kind of want to see where this goes."

The sounds of her friends taking Cady through the requirements to be a Plastic fade as she makes her way to the bathroom. She had forgotten her pocket mirror and had to re-apply her lip gloss, duh. A stench that can only be accomplished by a high school bathroom gets stronger as she opens the door. She stops in her tracks when she sees you reapplying your mascara at the sink.

"Hey Brendon Urie."

You hadn't even noticed someone walking in.

"God, that's actually worse than Gerard." You look at her through the mirror.

She moves a bit closer, "You look so familiar."

"Must've seen me in your dreams," You say while awkwardly winking at her.

She raises an eyebrow, "No, I know you. I swear I do!"

"Well yeah, I'm the one and only Gerard Way! Lead singer of My Chemical Romance-"

"Enough," She rolls her eyes.

You finish up and make your way out of the bathroom, cautiously walking around her with your arms up. "You'll figure it out. Don't worry, Blondie."

She watches you exit the bathroom.

"Oh my god! Regina, remember this?" Regina glared at her mom as she continued trying to seem cool to her friends. She's known them for years! Why does she keep doing this? Cady looks at the book in Mrs. George's hands.

"What is that?"

"No way! We used this book to make fun of the freaks in our school. We'd tape photos of people then write down insults-"

"She understands, Gretchen. Can you get us some snacks, Mom?"

As Regina's mom walks out of the room, the girls are looking through the various insults in the book. They eventually land on a page with a picture of you and Janis.

'Janis, Pyro Lez' 'Y/N, puts in 110% effort because she takes up 110% of the room.'

Cady's eyes widen. "That's not even her." She says while looking at the picture of you.

"I think she moved schools, wait how do you know her?" Gretchen stops what she's doing to ask.

"I sit with her at lunch"

"What? There's no way, that Gerard Way girl?" Regina chimes in and moves from her spot at the mirror to look at the picture.

"Woah, did she just melt off half her body weight since freshman year?"

"I'm so jealous." Karen adds.

Regina stares at the picture of you. So that's why she knew you.

You, Damien, Janice and Cady are all gathered around at your locker. "...and it's just a collection of insults, basically." Cady had been giving a summary of the events from the previous day.

Janice's eyes go wide. "Does it say anything about me?"

"Uhm, nope. Nothing about you."

"Ugh, those bitches."

You didn't want to ask if you were in it. You had an idea of what the insults towards you could be, and you'd rather not have your suspicions confirmed.

The bell rings, interrupting the powwow. You all bid each other goodbye, and make your way to your classes. PE was your next period, and you couldn't wait. It was a break from all the thinking you had to do.

You head towards the gym after switching into your exercise clothes. Most of your clothes were oversized and baggy, including your gym ones. You hadn't really upgraded your wardrobe since you lost weight. Everybody was already in, gathered in a circle, so you pushed yourself in, not paying attention to who you were standing next to.

"Alright! Today, we'll be playing soccer! Or football, as some of you may call it." The PE teacher announces, mumbling the last part of his sentence. "We will work in pairs today, so find a pair. Or partner, I mean. Whatever, just get moving."

"I can't believe they assigned that guy to teach us Sex-ed." Was someone talking to you?

You look behind you to find Regina looking down at you with a...genuine smile on her face? That can't be right.

"Right! He gives off the same vibe as those Reddit incels."

"That's so funny."

Are you having a normal conversation? With the queen bitch?

"What did you call me?"

Oh shit, you said that out loud.

"Uh-"

"Whatever, you wanna pair up? None of my friends are in this class, and you're the least annoying one here."

Thanks. You look around to make sure there are no other possible options. Regina rolls her eyes and grabs your arm, pulling you to an empty spot.

She was actually decent at football. You guys were practicing passing to each other while running and you were starting to feel lightheaded.

You waved to Regina, "Hey, I'm just going to get a sip of water."

"I'll come with."

"You should play football more often, you're more tolerable like this."

"Bold, are we?"

"I mean, I basically just called you a bitch and you haven't punched me in the face. So I'm right"

She laughed! What is up with her?

Regina enters the locker room and spots you with your shirt halfway up. You really did lose half your body weight. Guilt pierces through her. Freshman year Regina was cruel. Somehow crueler than she is now, and fat girls were just easy to bully. Did you drop weight because of her?

Your shirt had gotten snagged on both your necklace and bracelet. After watching you twist and wriggle around for a while, Regina deems you sufficiently embarrassed and walks towards you to help you out.

You feel someone pull your shirt up and off of you. You had made sure to go into the locker room after everyone had already left. So when you were finally free of your cloth prison and came face to face with Regina. You felt nauseous. Of everyone!

She looks you up and down and suddenly you're more self conscious than you've ever been. Wrapping your arms around your stomach, you mumble out a 'Thanks' and put on your other shirt then hurriedly pack up and rush out of the locker room, leaving a guilt-ridden Regina behind.

Hey Lovelies. I'm sorry it's been so hard lately. Everyone I talk to seems to be struggling in one way or another right now, and I know it's been a lot. Remember to vent if you can-- even if a lots been happening for a while, you're not a burden if you need to vent again.

We all go through so much in our lives, and sometimes those hard times go for a lot longer than we'd like, we're allowed to be just as frustrated with them as we were the first as the 100th day we're dealing with them.

But you know what? You're so incredibly resilient lovelies. Seriously, look at you. Look at you getting through each day even when things are tough. If you had a great day, or you cried your eyes out, the fact that you're still here is so incredibly important.

YOU are so incredibly important. I know sometimes it feels like we are our struggles, but you are so very much more than them. Your struggles might be chronic, you may never be rid of them, or they may be temporary, so please, feel them, fight them, experience them, learn from them, but know that when you come out of them at the end of the day you are not those struggles.

They influence you, and they are a piece of you, but they are not the whole of you. You are a wonderful, kind, an beautiful individual that means so much to so many people, and you are so very complex and you have so many sides to you.

You are wonderful lovelies. Remember that. Good luck this week, I'm rooting for you so hard.

In 208, we see Ed reading Stede’s letter. Previously, in 109, we see Ed sign his name with an X. Some think these two ideas conflict. I don’t think they do. Literacy is a spectrum. It’s possible to be able to at least read to some degree, but not write almost at all.

In children, reading usually occurs first, writing follows. It’s possible Ed learned some reading skills from his mother, or picked up some reading on the hop. He’s very clever. We know also there was a cut scene confirmed by Damien Gerard (Father Teach). It involved Ed and his father in which Ed is told to stop with his ‘stories’ and get out into the real world. Ed and Stede’s characterisations are very closely aligned in more ways than we imagine. I mean, there is a reason Ed is so excited about all of Stede’s books.

The presumption that Ed is entirely illiterate bothers me, actually; and I do think there is sometimes an unconscious racial bias here. Ed’s captained ships for years extremely successfully. I refuse to believe Ed doesn’t have some degree of literacy in order to read maps. Unless we think Izzy’s reading things to him! Is Izzy literate? He seems to be able to read ‘For the New Unicorn’. He clearly knows what it says because he reads it a second time and smiles. Are we suggesting Izzy can read and Ed cannot? If so, why?

Second, Ed’s signing the Act of Grace with an X, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to write his name. Many people didn’t like to write their names clearly for fear of forgery, especially someone with Ed’s notoriety. Can you imagine what could be done with the genuine signature of Edward Teach, Blackbeard?

Plus, I really like how the X continues to feed into the theme of ‘Who is Ed?’ What should his signature say? Ed Teach? How we’re spelling that? Teach? Thache? Or is it Edward? Captain? Blackbeard? Blackie? Jeff? The Kraken?? Seriously, though. Ed goes by a number of pseudonyms. His identity is unmoored. X covers them all. Take your pick. As Mary says about her chosen artist moniker, ‘Adds an air of mystery.’ Ed’s all about the art of fuckery. Keep them on their toes.

The X can also be denied at a later date. It’s signing your name, but not signing your name. The weight of legality is on the witnesses here, which is undeniably strong, but it might still allow some wriggle room. Who knows. Ed’s canny. He’s not going to hand over his identity fully on a legal document if he doesn’t have to. He’s still trying to hand his identity to himself. It’s also possible Ed is playing into the ‘illiterate man of colour’ presumption to empower himself and not give away his entire personhood here.

He might not be a prolific letter-writer, but trust me: Edward Teach knows how to write ‘Edward Teach’ (born on a beach). He just won’t be forced to.

"That sounds great, actually." Geneva said, easily agreeing to have Noah join the babysitting crew that consisted of his friends, the Petrov twins. "I'll let her know so that they have a nice worry free night to themselves." She replied, meaning Damien's parents. Geneva chuckled under her breath at her beloved's comment on the children's behaviors during his watch. "Oh Goddess, the Hansen twins got involved too?" She asked him, giggling. Moments later, one of her hands lightly smacked at Damien's forearm at the flirtatious comment. "No!" While the movement was sudden, it lacked sting along with any strong weight in her words. "Damien," She watched that handsome face of his wear a smirk. "No acting up on my part, not even a little." She chided lightly. Geneva smiled when he kissed her cheek. "Should I write you a poem?" She asked, pausing before continuing. "No, better yet, a nice soliloquy. Just for you?" The hybrid offered him instead. "For how much does the earth miss the sun when it becomes night? Or the tides miss the moon when the sun arises the next day?"

Geneva nodded, a soft expression on her face. "You do. But then again, you always have." At Damien's rather astute deduction on her being able to pinpoint his emotions from others, even in a crowd, the hybrid nymph confessed with a grin before her words did. "I can, yes." She murmured, head bowing in another small nod. "But the romantic in me likes to think that yes, our history and time helps to amplify finding your emotions, and that even if we didn't have that, that I'd still know yours. If only because I simply know you." She shared as he kissed her knuckles. "You know... lately, I've been feeling the same." Geneva confessed, her hands still behind Damien's neck. "Almost as if it's becoming even more difficult to not be with you. Every day. Like there's a compass in my being that settles on north when it points towards you. Towards our little trio." Goddess help her but Geneva poorly fought to not laugh at Damien's quip on not taking centuries to get married. It wasn't an insult or a sign of disrespect to her Goddess and her impending wedding. But she understood what Damien meant. "And I don't think we will, no." She agreed. "But whatever our time, I'm glad that it's ours."

Geneva's blush returned, in full force, upon remembrance of that time. Of her eagerness to, finally, experience the reality that was being with Damien Petrov. After all, the young hybrid had, indeed, heard stories about him. And his bedroom escapades. "No, please, don't say that aloud." She playfully chided, a hand slipping from behind his neck to cup around his mouth as she looked at him with wide blue eyes. Yet seconds later, after registering the compliment, Geneva's hand fell away. "Okay, that part you can say aloud." She acquiesced with a small nod, meaning being in a category of her own. The hybrid was not above allowing Damien to boost her ego, at times. She raised herself on the tips of her toes and kissed him, soundly and lovingly on the lips. "Thank you," Geneva murmured against his mouth afterwards. "For being yourself." She explained simply. The hybrid softly smiled up at him. "Okay, My Love. What is it?"

Damien pulled Geneva flush against him as if any space would be too much when she turned in his arms. “Okay, whenever they want we can watch them. Maybe if Jacen’s got Noah they can have a friend hang with him. How were they? Bored and bad. Not listening. They got with the Hansen Twins too and it just spiraled out of control.” He enjoyed himself though running around with the kids keeping them busy while everyone worked out how the day would go for the ceremony. He even got the kids to pay attention and run through it at least once. He smirked at her question. “You know I’m always behaving until you’re around then I might have to act up a little.” He leaned in to whisper the last part in her ear before kissing her cheek. “Oh yeah? How much did you miss me?” 

He marveled over the sight of her blushing. She had always been the most beautiful woman in every room she entered. That beauty flowed from the inside out. “I’m glad I have a nice flow of emotions for you. But as long as you’ve known me you probably can pinpoint them in a crowd.” He brought her hand up to his lips to place a kiss on each of her knuckles. “I miss you too. I’m not whole when you’re not around. I don’t know when it started, but I just feel like lately I don’t want to be without you. More than a night is too long not to see you.” He had gotten accustomed to seeing her more. For their trio to spend more time together. It’s like a gravitational pull towards her happened steadily and gradually. “I meant in years. They’re been at it for centuries. We’re not taking centuries to get married.” The words came out so naturally and he wasn’t intending for those particular words to be the ones he said. They had never discussed the serious things. But being a former commitment-phobe, he was ready to commit. “It is storied, considering how I had to slow you down that first time. Thinking I would treat you like the other women when you’ve always been in a category of your own.”  Damien chuckled hearing the boastfulness in her voice. “Babe, no girl got this guy the way you did. You had me acting brand new. You still have me acting brand new.” He reached up to let his thumb caress along her jaw. “I have something for you. I also have something important to ask you.” He wasn’t proposing at someone else’s wedding, but he did want to make more clear where they stood with each other.
