Barry Confesses His Love in Front of Pokemon Satan

Got a neat prompt in Creative Writing class today, so take this. "Romantic Scene in an Unromantic Place"

Word count: 452. Barry/Lucas

At the top of Mt. Coronet, Lucas brandishes the pokeball holding his Empoleon in preparation for the fight about to unfold. Dialga and Palkia glare down at him from where they’re suspended in magical chains in midair. Cynthia protectively places her hand on his shoulder as she takes out her own pokeball, holding Garchomp. In front of them, Cyrus starts monologing about creating the perfect world by destroying this one- some stupid shit like that. The rest of Team Galactic starts cheering around them, Venus, Mars, and Saturn being the loudest of the crowd. The legendary pokemon above them continue to cry out painfully as their chains constrict stronger against them.

Finally, Dawn and Barry show up to the scene. They had only just gotten the news, and got there as fast as they could. Lucas turns to meet them at the arched entrance of the ancient mountain top, a bright and angry fire in his dark blue eyes that the other two had never seen before from the calm boy. Barry shuffles awkwardly before jumping over to land face to face with him. He lands a strong hand on his arm.

“Arceus, you are so hot right now,” he says unexpectedly. Lucas’s eyes widen in shock as he takes a second to process.

“Excuse me?” Lucas breathes out in response. He is completely ignoring Cyrus’ monologue now, oblivious to how dark it’s starting to get. Cynthia glances down at them quickly before yelling something back out at Cyrus. Dawn places her shaking head in her hand from behind Barry.

“You’ve always been so cool. I think I love you,” Barry confesses unashamed. Does he not realize this really isn’t the time? Lucas’ face goes hot from embarrassment. Barry leans down to place a kiss on his cheek before whispering in his ear, “Now kick this guy’s ass.”

Lucas nods hesitantly before turning back around to find the scene in front of him has changed drastically. He didn’t notice how dark it had suddenly gotten, and how quiet too. The only sound now is coming from Cyrus’ crazed delight at the inky black darkness in front of him. It is deafeningly quiet as everyone holds their breath, even Palkia and Dialga are stunned- or rather, no one can hear their calls.

From the darkness came two piercing red eyes, and the creature from within jumps out and swallows Cyrus into its darkness, disappearing just as soon as it came. It left its dark swirling portal behind it, and everyone hesitantly leans forward to look inside from where they’re standing. The dark galaxy of what can only be described as stuff swirls on infinitely in front of them. What the fuck just happened.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SAMURAI

Samurai (侍) were members of the warrior clans in Japan. Originally, they were provincial warriors who served the Kuge (aristocratic class) and imperial court in the late 12th century. At that time no one was too interested to serve as a samurai. It was considered a lowly status of a mere servant.

However, the samurai began to play a major political role in later years, until their abolition in the late 1870s during the Meiji era - an era of Japanese history that extended from October 23, 1868, to July 30, 1912.

HOW DID IT BEGIN

The year was 1551.

This was perhaps the greatest turning point in the history of Japan warlords, commonly known as *daimyo.

The earlier warlords (before 1551) were so powerful, the government of Japan lost all control, and the daimyos grievously provoked the nation, leading to a major civil war.

The Great Nobuhide, admired and respected, was treated as an emperor in his own right. He ruled clans, comprising factions of relatives, in-laws, including household staff, protected by formidable guards and personal bodyguards. He was loved by all, for he was kind, just and wise. Sadly, he passed away in 1551.

It was his wish that his son, Oda Nobunaga, take over his reign, despite knowing that many of his subjects and clans did not approve his choice, for Oda was an aggressive, violent and rude person.

All this changed in 1551, when Oda Nobunaga took over control of the Owari Province. He was ambitious and soon invaded other provinces to expand his territorial reign. In time the Katana (Japanese sword) became a symbol of power in the provinces under his rule - beginning with the Owari clans who dared seek to reign. The killing was brutal. He beheaded his own brother when he learned of his plan to take over his reign. To this effect, in time, there was no regard for family or friend - father killed the son, son killed the father, brothers killed brothers, cousins, and anyone who stood in the way - in the attempt to seize power or to hang on to it.

It was during this period that the Samurai became a symbol of power, a mounted knight - the samurai we come to know today.

During the early reign of Oda Nobunaga In the Owari Province, there were protests. However, Oda subdued the protesters by beheading them openly. There was one silent protestor, named Hirate Masahide, who showed bravery among his peers. He resorted to die by *seppuku - a suicide, by slitting his belly open and spilling out his guts that others would continue the protests of dictatorship and brutality.

Hirate’s suicide action led to many wars.

The three major highlights of such wars occurred during the Edo period, that started in 1603 and ended in 1868, when power was restored to the emperor after the samurai were defeated.

Almost died twice by Ursaring

Once by a Sneasel (Johtonian)

Completed Wurmple's Dex entey

Got most of the spawns from the Obsidian Fieldland distortions, need Gengar, Steelix, Lickilicky, Ursaring, and Weavile

Or evolve them on my own, but getting all distortion pokemon adds a bit of fun

Was trying to get most of Kricketot's dex entry done cause I talked to the person who had that request

But then the termites returned

And that's a tomorrow problem, so it's time for bed

Droopy evolved! He is so cute!

Four stars now

Got a Sylveon, probably gonna keep him, idk, seeing how Adaman and Irida have six of the eight eeveelutions, I just thought it would be neat for the MC from the sky to have the last two, at least Sylveon, an eeveelution and type that didn't even exist yet when DPPl first came out

Make the MC more other!

And I want a Gliscor and a giant land shark, both of which are ground types, so no second electric type
