softblocked a bunch of dead blogs that followed me because i don't particularly enjoy seeing that i supposedly have 200+ followers only for not a single one of them to see my posts. it's now a much more reasonable 144 people who ignore me now.

but anyway, the point of the post.

a lot of the blogs had their following tabs enabled and it was really interesting to see that maybe only 1% of the people they followed were still active. like on their following lists it was like "last updated 7-3 years ago" for most of them and oh look there's me last updated like half an hour ago.

that's wild.

of course the alternative to learning to sing and buying a microphone is hiring/collaborating with someone but i don't have money or friends

it always sucks when a song from a game you like has rap vocals because you can't cover it unless you learn how to do that and get a usable microphone

i remember almost nothing from my schooling so like when i was going through my old stuff doing some spring cleaning or whatever i saw a lot of complaints about it and like casual homophobia and transphobia that i observed in the environment

and like that's really interesting because all i remember on that front was my biology teacher denying the existence of intersex people.

it makes me wonder how common it is for people to grow up and then stop caring about people who haven't yet. like if it's normal to not remember being a minor, it makes it a lot harder to relate to kids, and you don't even remember what needs to be fixed.

just a thought.
